Popular Post LIGirl August 12, 2015 Popular Post Share August 12, 2015 Oh, how I wished Carole would have had the mental wherewithal at the moment LuAnn made the dig about not having children to say to her, "No, I don't have children because my beloved husband got sick with cancer and DIED before we had a chance to have any, you vile piece of shit!" But I wouldn't have been surprised if she was so taken aback by that disgusting dig to even think of the right thing to say back to her. I've never been a fan of LuAnn (or the Countess) and never will be. She IS a vile, hypocritical piece of shit who doesn't think her own shit stinks and I've been wishing for her to be off of this show since at least season 2. 42 Link to comment
Popular Post HunterHunted August 12, 2015 Popular Post Share August 12, 2015 The production crew must hate Sonja. They don't always show exculpatory footage like that especially for someone like Kristen who has been a non-entity all season, but clearly they love to make Sonja look like the ever loving fool that she is. LuAnn revealed herself to be a nasty malicious vile self-centered piece of shit. Her girl code nonsense is just that...nonsense. Adam and her niece were broken up and that's on Adam if they weren't. Neither Carole nor Heather are responsible for protecting the de Lesseps children from the fact that their mother is a ho (nothing wrong with it, but fucking own it). Finally, that was an epic asshole move to laugh at the fact that Carole is childless. I'm sorry that Carole married a man who had an illness that left him sterile. I guess it was stupid that Carole stayed with during his illness rather than abandon him. 38 Link to comment

Popular Post LotusFlower August 12, 2015 Popular Post Share August 12, 2015 I didn't catch the jab Luann made at Carole until I just rewatched it on WWHL. Yikes and DAMN, that was low. Whether Carole is childfree by choice or not, that was uncalled for. And a little evil. That, right there, is a moment I can't explain away, forget or forgive. That was awful. LuAnn is maybe the biggest hypocrite on the face of the earth. And she sleeps around with young guys while filming on vacation, and yet it's Carole's fault if that's exposed? WTF?! Her son might see, and that's Carole's responsibility? That's unreal. Also unreal - Sonja lambasting her own toaster ovens, and also shifting the blame of that fiasco onto someone else - in this case, Kristen. The failed toaster oven debacle is part of Sonja's public story - she needs to own it, and accept that people, including the press, are still talking about it. It's not Kristen's fault that the reporter was more interested in toaster ovens than fashion, and frankly, her answer was pretty innocuous, and even kind of positive. Sonja seemed so embarrassed by the mention, which is a new thing. Again, that's on her. 26 Link to comment

Loved: - Bethenny saying that she didn't know what dialect Dorinda was using. Rahul August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 This episode should have been titled "Places we are required by contract to go, and the people we are supposed to annoy when there". Popular Post ottergirl August 12, 2015 Popular Post Share August 12, 2015 (edited) So Heather gets the worst epilogue quote ever, that doesn't even have anything to do with her own life, and Beth gets a "the best is yet to come" - i.e. "I'll be back to torture you next season." Let alone B gets the WWHL spot tonight. Greeeaaat ... Not to mention that the final quote on Bethenny SPECIFICALLY called out Bethenny's "new bestie Carole" who she recently went to the Galapagos with. Good God, Andy. It's not enough to ostracize Heather on the show, you have to make sure we all know that CAROLE PREFERS BETHENNY TOO? Of course, no mention of Heather's business success or all her charity work. She's not even in the finale, except to showcase her as the butt of Bethenny's joke. (Which she took quite well, for the record.) I wonder if this was my last episode of RHONY ever? ETA: I'm so pathetic that I actually (for the first time ever) tweeted to a housewife, asking Heather and Carole if they were still cool. Heather responded "definitely." How silly am I for being reassured by that? Off to get a life!! Edited August 12, 2015 by ottergirl 39 Link to comment
LIGirl August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 Since the reunion was taped a few weeks ago, does anyone know if the ladies are given copies of the rest of the episodes that hadn't yet aired prior to the reunion taping? I really hope so because I so want to see Carole call out LuAnn on her cackling childless dig (not that Carole necessarily needed a tape to remember that, but obviously no viewer would have seen it yet to send in a question or a comment to Andy/Bravo about it), and for Kristen to make Sonja grovel for forgiveness over the fact that not only did the reporter asked her about the toaster oven, but she even said something that was rather positive about it! I've been thinking all along how much of a bad sign it's been that the show has shown so little of Kristen and Heather's personal lives, but man, it really can't be a good sign that Heather's ending blurb/summary had pretty much nothing to do with her actual life. Not even anything about whether or not her son had the surgery yet? Damn. At least Kristen's had info about her nail polish line and how well it has been doing. 10 Link to comment
ryebread August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 She is an irritating, pretentious wannabe. And again, with the open mouth chewing. It would be hard to sit across a dinner table from her. Dorinda, too. I think with Carole, it's a mostly a mechanical issue (her severe overbite). With Dorinda it's that she can't stop talking long enough to chew and swallow. I understood and enjoyed Bethenny's reasoning on why she can't stay mad at Ramona - being so past the point of tired, hungry, crazy.... But it really is hypocritical. I'd have no problem staying mad at Ramona. 9 Link to comment
LotusFlower August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 I've been saying it all along, and LuAnn's epilogue proves it - the show decided to revolve the entire season around stupid "girl code," so they deliberately played up the Chef Adam/Carole issue even though LuAnn was originally ok with it, they played up LuAnn's part in NudeDudeGate, even though it was really about Ramona (they left those scenes on the cutting room floor), and they did everything they could to play up the song "Girl Code" and make it a hit. I'm so glad it bombed. 21 Link to comment
WireWrap August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 A lot of us have wondered all season why LuAnn got so nasty about Carole and to a lesser extent Heather on twitter, WWHL and in the press and I think we just saw/heard why. IMO, LuAnn, with Dorinda's help, went after Carole and Heather like they did because of what LuAnn said to/then laughing about her, Carole, not having any children. IMO, It was a preemptive strike to turn fans away from Carole/Heather before we saw/heard LuAnn's nasty comment/laugh! LuAnn is such a pig and Dorinda keeps her nose up LuAnn's butt so much it is turning into a snout now as well! 11 Link to comment

AnnaMayWong August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 (edited) Waittttttt. Sonja--the same woman who can't help talking about how she used to model (and run in circles with all the aristocracy of the world)--called Kristen a model past her prime? And then she added some shade when talking to Dorinda when Carole showed up with Adam. Sonja said that she didn't want to sit next to Adam because he's so hot. Then she went on to tell Dorinda that she'd sit next to John. Oof! There were so many other oof-like moments like: - Ramona looking right out of her mind when she ambushed Bethenny out the elevator, and, in trying to agree (?), had her hand up in that high-five position while frantically blinking and nodding. I couldn't figure out what was going on with her. - Sonja looking dumb because she told the world about toaster oven that was never going to make it to market. Also, her reading comprehension skills (when she was finally forced to look at words on a screen) are non-existent. - LuAnn being her usual hypocritical self. That she would hold another woman to her own standards is just abject stupidity. No, Carole, YOU shouldn't date a younger guy because EYE wouldn't since EYE have children that EYE would never introduce my younger man to. But I shouldn't be surprised in the slightest. LuAnn expects to make the rules that everyone else should follow. (Oh, and you don't have children, Carole. Hahahahaha! LuAnn? Is an asshole.) - Dorinda proving once again how fucking ridiculous she was in Turks and Caicos going on about the word "fuck." Oh, this is so tasty and delicious!! That "you don't have kids" crack by LuAnn is maybe the cruelest thing I can remember one Housewife saying to another. Just for the fact that she so obviously considered it an insult. I mean, she was basically just repeating what Carole had just said, but saying it in a way that made it clear she thinks it's a deep cut. Before the last few episodes, I wouldn't have thought that would possibly even hurt Carole's feelings, but with all the thinking she's been doing about her husband recently, I think we've seen that she was thinking about what might have been. Worst possible time for someone to make that dig. 28 Link to comment

ScoobieDoobs August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 Wait, it said Lu's "date" was Thomas Roberts. Was this the sorta-journalist Thomas Roberts? Er, huh? I heard he was supposedly a fame-ho, but sheesh. WTF? 2 Link to comment
BloggerAloud August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 Yeah, Luann's date was journalist Thomas Roberts. I was confused at first until I googled him and saw that he and Luann are apparently friends. 3 Link to comment
sheetmoss August 12, 2015 Share August 12, 2015 (edited) Was Luann's date a journalist? He's familiar. Thomas Roberts is an MSNBC mid-day show anchor, He does or did appear on MSNBC's Morning Joe too. Wait, it said Lu's "date" was Thomas Roberts. Was this the sorta-journalist Thomas Roberts? Er, huh? I heard he was supposedly a fame-ho, but sheesh. WTF? He'd be known as a 'walker' in LuAnn's world. From the way LuAnn was acting IMO, she comes off as more jealous she didn't get Adam. Didn't the reunion teaser clip shown on WWHL show during the Carole & LuAnn confrontation about Adam Lu saying... "and you don'r sleep with the help"?
