It's actually become my favourite this season. It is really just pure entertainment with a lot of very good actors and I really do appreciate a show that embraces "TV can also be really really fun and not just dark and dim, gritty, edgy" right now. And I'm in continual awe that Sara Lance became one of my favourite characters on TV from first hearing about her in Arrow's pilot and Ray is good when not in a love triangle.

Ray/BR has been the biggest revelation for me, because I hated him in Arrow. I almost didn't watch the show because of his involvement. I'm so glad I looked beyond that and watched it. The writers have managed to hone his character and BR brings a humanity to him that I did not think was possible. He definitely needs to stay out of a love triangle. I don't mind him romancing guest stars, but I think the show is best when Ray is not in a romantic relationship with a regular. I just don't think BR has the romantic lead chops when it comes to serial TV. And I don't think they have found someone who has compatible romantic chemistry with him.

I also think that the Waverider is too small to have a romantic relationship between regulars. I know love triangles are the CW's jam, but I just think that LoT can break the trend and perhaps have the romantic dramas come from somewhere else.

Captain Cold and Heatwave's new-ish show will be airing Tuesdays at 9, starting April 4th; if Legends airs without any breaks, there shouldn't be a direct conflict.

According to TVLine, iZombie returns April 4, so yes, LoT should be over by then.

ETA: By my count they could have one week off. There's 10 weeks starting Jan. 24 and ending March 28, and they only have nine episodes.

You had me going... I thought there was another spin-off in the works until I went looking and realized you meant Prison Break. :)

ÌEvery show, period. Can you imagine how he'd describe The Leftovers? Or Keeping Up With the Kardashians?

Maybe we need a "Deep Thoughts on Pop Culture, by Mick Rory" thread. Just for fun.

The Mary Sue has kind of an interesting article about Rip's brainwashing storyline.  Some mild spoilers for the next couple episodes (and Arrow season 3, a bit), but nothing that hasn't been announced in official press releases.

We don't really have a Ratings & Scheduling thread, so I guess I'll put this here.

I'm trying to figure out the schedule for Legends.  iZombie returns with back-to-back episodes on April 4. But Legends still has five episodes left to air, so they're going to have to double up somewhere.  I'm just trying to figure out where.  Probably March 28? Two-hour finale?  What do you all think?

I couldn't figure out the CW scheduling if you paid me. Although, I would love to know the answer.

I wonder if they might just put it on the following week after Izombies double-header. Shelf Flash and have Izombie with LoT.

I could swear I saw something stating that the finale would be aired during the first week of April.  But I honestly don't remember where I saw that, or how it would work with iZombie.

Legends finale airs an hour earlier on April 4th. I think the IZombie thing isnt happening now.

Interesting that they'd move LoT's finale to a different time slot.  That's usually kind of a risky move.  Some fan is going to tune in at the regular time and find it all done.

This move for the one week makes me happy, because Prison Break comes back at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4. So I can watch LoT and then go right into Prison Break.

Try not to OD on Wentworth Miller!!!!

I'm pretty sure that's not possible for me, LOL. One thing that does disappoint me is that LoT is ending so early in the season. I was kind of looking forward to watching it farther into the spring, but I guess I have to adjust to these shorter seasons.

I love both This is US and LoT, so when they moved the night it was a difficult for me. But I must admit, the decision to watch This is US live was a forced but yet easy one. The buzz and watercooler momentum of This is US makes it almost mandatory live viewing otherwise you will be spoiled. You will still be crying your eyes out and healing your emotional wounds, but somehow being spoiled seems unimaginable - it would be like living through the pain multiple times.

LoT on the other hand makes for a better streaming on demand viewing. Less commercials to mull through. Just more time for fun & quality shenanigans.

Caity Lotz got an Honorable Mention in TVLine's Performer of the Week column:

Quote

HONORABLE MENTION | Just as Sara Lance captained the Waverider this season, Caity Lotz often serves as Legends of Tomorrow‘s emotional anchor. That was evident in the Season 2 finale, where possession of the Spear of Destiny fell on Sara, triggering a palpably intense moral quandary. In a scene with two Lotzes, steely Sara grilled her future self about failing to use the Spear to end the Legion, though the ladies eventually conceded that it’s because “they” are not strong enough to behold such power. Lotz later gave us a more penitent Sara, when in a “reunion” with sister Laurel, she copped to being “damaged” as the result of her crucibles, and debated whether rewriting reality to avert them is the right move. White Canary is all about her muscle, but Lotz shines just as bright when Sara’s heart is on display.

I don't think its a dig, but I think it explains why he wanted out of LoT. He seems like an actor that wants to be inspired by the work he does and time travel doesn't do it for him. Not everyone likes time travel plots. I appreciate his willingness for some guest spots and totally respect his desire to not be a regular part of the show especially if he doesn't enjoy the premise.

I still miss having Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday.  It was the perfect kind of fun show to begin winding down my work week with.

I kind of like it.  It's one less day I have to keep up with and Forged In Fire usually has a late repeat so I won't miss that either.

They moved This is Us to Thurs, so I'm cool with keeping LoT on Tues. Now I'm just pissed at NBC.

I do think the Flash lead in will be a good thing for the longevity of LoT, so I think it is a smart choice by the CW.

For what, reinstating Timeless but not Powerless?  I feel for you.  I love Timeless and I'm glad that NBC reversed its decision there, but I also agree that Powerless deserved another shot, too.

Honestly,  I would have loved it getting another shot,  but I would've settled for them just airing the remaining episodes,  such a dick move.

You certainly won't hear any argument from me there!

Well This is Us is now getting moved back to Tuesdays at 9pm, NBC can't make up their minds this season. I'm not sure if LOT has a similar demo or not but this is another move to show networks are really nervy recently.

This was the best news for me from NBC. There was just too much on Thurs for me. I also don't understand what tactical advantage NBC thought it was getting. This was the 2nd best news after hearing NBC changed their mind and decided to renew Timeless. NBC is back in my good graces.

I think NBC wanted to win back Thursday, but their internal numbers showed that the move could hurt the show. Better to keep it where it is and work on other shows, especially since Shondaland and Big Bang Theory are still in play.

It's a good number for this show, it worked out well last season and means we didn't get too much padding or stalling unlike the rest of the DC shows. Also I guess it's necessary to keep the FX budget in check.
