Yes, but Nathan is a proven provider of food and recreation. Maybe, Jonathan will step in and sponsor closer vacations. 

The Rods usually visit and perform at certain churches on this trip, so Florida may be a required part of the missionary circuit.

Falling in that swamp fully clothed in denim---I don't even want to think about the possibilities.  Snakes like trees, too--not just water.  And anything can be hidden in that dark water.  This is a very poor idea, but yet BME brags about it on line.  Those poor kids.  (What's the deal with Jill and dirty water.  She liked the drainage ditch full of run-off, too.)

They probably made so much noise ( I know we did as kids) all mammals and reptiles left the area.

Yes, that’s Sadie.  She’s the one who was missing her two front teeth for 2+ years.  I feel sure that poor nutrition was the cause of that.  Am I the only one who thinks she’s extremely thin?  Keep in mind that she’s wearing probably 2 shirts, underwear (hopefully), a skirt and pants.  What’s it going to take to make sure that these children are properly nourished?  I’m seriously worried about them.

I’ll bet when they’re traveling in the stink bus, each child MIGHT bathe once during the entire trip.  It wouldn’t surprise me if they don’t bathe at all when they’re traveling.

Sadie is Jill's favorite. Her self proclaimed "mini me". And she claims all the children eat, they are just naturally thin. I'd believe that if GWE and BME didn't look too well nourished.

Nurie is tall with a long torso, so I'm not surprised she can go a while without showing. 

That swamp water doesn't look safe or clean. I can't believe the kids went swimming. I guess if they get staph infections it'll give Jill more opportunities to grift.

I'm guessing the Rodrigues are banned from pools and beaches because they won't put on swimsuits. Also, Jill doesn't want her boys and husband to see women in bikinis.

Didn't some child just die from a brain-eating infection from swimming  in a river (or ocean)?  I think it might have been in Florida, but I don't remember all the particulars.  I heard on the news and I didn't pay close attention.  I do remember them saying that that particular infection was incurable.

I just went back and checked.  The one I heard about was in Florida.  But a lake in Iowa and Lake Tahoe have also had incidents.  This amoeba can show up in rivers and lakes anywhere.  Who knows what is lurking in that swamp?

I am guessing they grifted a camping area or small cabin off some sweet church folks. Either in their area or near the churches they have been to recently in W. V. The kayaks look like the type you can buy at costco, etc and are made for 2 people.(flat surface rather than the sit in type made for 1 person) I doubt Timothy, and now Phillip, had to fight with airlines, drive 24hrs straight or ride a fairy to get to wherever they are for the mandatory 2nd annual memory making family vacation.

I watched the decorated  hospital room video in slow mo today - it seems many of the coloring the not Rod grandkids. also bizarrely a baby shower invite, the rsvp card and the registry card was included behind ma's head. They are so freaking weird.

I burst out laughing when I read this. How far Jill's big idea of an annual family reunion and vacation has fallen--from a free beach-front house with a private pool to a campsite with a filthy swamp for "boating" and "swimming." Thud. 

Maybe if they hadn't swum in the beach house's pool in their heavy clothing, left the grill dirty, eaten their way through the pantry and freezer, and made a mess inside the house last year, they might have received a repeat offer. Jill's been silent about why they weren't able to return for this year's celebration, but she sure loved it while they were there. 

Of course, knowing Jill, she may have talked her way into a suite at Mar-a-Lago this time, and we'll see her in a wheelchair waving from the deck of a yacht. The woman's grift never fails to amaze.

They're probably at another KOA campground.  It's been a couple years since they were last thrown out of one.  There are multiple in Florida near Nurie and Nathan.

No doubt, as they have done before; they will ignore the rules limiting the number of guests per campsite, limiting kids under 18 hanging around the gift shop/store and prohibiting swimming in the pools in street clothes.  That's what got them tossed out before and Jill will undoubtedly be claiming persecution once again if they're asked to leave. There is no way she'll change her behavior to follow the rules.

Disclosure - I am a northerner who cannot handle humidity so I can't fathom the idea of being fully clothed with multiple layers, in the soup-like humidity of Florida, jumping into  warm murky swamp water for fun, and getting attacked by mosquitoes - not to mention wondering if my kayak is bumping into the head of an alligator or snake.  It's the stuff of nightmares.  And the fact that Jill can't bring her impressionable husband children to the beach where heathens wear things like bathing suits and instead chooses to let them loose in an area that may or may not be suitable for swimming and kayaking?  What's worse, Jill - David spotting a woman in a bikini or one of your children getting a parasite or being bitten by a swamp creature?

No need to provide Jill's answer, we all know what it would be.

Since the churches probably pay into the missionary fund that sponsors the Rods anyway, the Rod Show might be a diversion from their own repetitive services and boring preacher. The Rods bring energy. It's usually bad energy, but it's something to gossip about later. It's also an excuse for a potluck. 

I'd go just for Jill and the cowbells on the ironing board. 

As for the basket for the additional Love Offerings, a dollar sounds about right.
