Straycat80 December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 How did a Dandy kill all those women? There must have been 6-7 of them. It was definately a massacre! I thought it would be over by now. Link to comment
Valny December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 (edited) Well...that was interesting! Emma and Gabby continue to be terrible but at least Gabby is gone now. I actually said "ugh" when the first thing on my screen tonight was Maggie! But at least Dandy was with her. Drunk Jimmy sex with Ima ...gross! I agree with HallucinationEthel- you're disgusting Jimmy. Nice to see Ethel popping up with Jimmy and Del. I thought she'd pay a visit to Elsa next but nope. Maybe next week. Anytime Evan and Emma have argument scenes I keep thinking of them as the real couple they are...and it's uncomfortable. WTF the cop popped Regina for Dandy's bribe? Why am I surprised? I appreciate the fact that Jimmy asked Bette how she felt about things since it was her body as well. I have been actually waiting for some kind of sex scene with Jimmy and Bette/Dot because you know this show loves to go there with weird and uncomfortable sexual situations. But I'm actually glad he didn't go through with it, so he did one good thing tonight. Stanley whips it out to show Del! and starts doing his thing. Again....gross! Actually a little part of me was kind of wanting to see, but it's best we don't. Plus I don't think it would get past the censors. Maybe on a channel like HBO or the likes. How gullible is Elsa going to continue to be!! OMG, her white sunglasses were awful. It looked like something they give out for New Year's Eve. Sorry Dandy, I don't think you and Regina are gonna fit in that tub! More butt shots from Dandy! Crack is whack! Stanley's new boy toy, not all that smart huh...but he likes puppies!! Nice scene with Sarah Paulson and......well, Sarah Paulson. Everytime I see scenes with them I always think, why can't Dot let Bette keep her head straight and Dot lean to the right? Give Bette a break for a while! :) ETA- Malcolm Jamal-Warner? What the hell! Quickest cameo this season! I guessing he may come back, because why the hell would he just pop up for a few seconds then never to appear again? Weird. Edited December 11, 2014 by Valny 3 Link to comment

Dancingjaneway December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 I don't get good vibes from Malcom Jamal Warners character. I have this horrible feeling that he's going to hit or try to rape Desiree and Dels going to walk in and save the day. Then they will end up back together. I just don't trust RM because his writing sometimes is downright horrible. I knew that the Dandy was going nowhere even with the cop showing up. It's too early for his character to be gone so it wasn't a shocking moment. I keep waiting for shit to hit the fan and every episode I'm disappointed. I am hoping that the previews with Desiree and Maggie show that the freaks are finally adding up 2 and 2. I do have to say it makes me giddy to see Jimmy screwing around with other people while Maggie watches. I hate Maggie and I want her to get hers. 3 Link to comment

Snookums December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 Jimmy's trailer is like the TARDIS-it seemed puny on the outside and so spacious once you were inside. It matches Ethel's! I know it's the camera work blah blah blah but it really gets silly after awhile. Loved Stanley's reassurance that one of the Brody twins died of a very rare infection. You know, not like the several thousand very common infections you will die of having surgery in a tin shed out in a swamp. Feel better? Man--Denis O'Hare--do you think they give him his sides the night before or just tell him "okay, whip it out in front of Chiklis and start moaning" once he's on set? I really liked Sarah's scene with herself. I had no problem thinking I was watching two people, who were facing down who would have to go for the other to have a chance. Even though I doubt that with two hearts and two sets of lungs surgery of the fifties was at a point where separation would be possible--those organs would atrophy and cause massive infections in the body, or so much of the torso would have to go that "normal" balance, walking, etc would be impossible. Love Ethel telling people what's what even in death. "Yer not strong Dell, Never were." Although both my husband and I knew this wasn't going to be a tidy hanging--that knot was placed wrong, etc. It's quite tricky to hang a person properly. Why is Ima so eager for Drunken Sot Jimmy's attentions? She literally just met him! And are the freaks going to put on a damn show again anytime soon while there's still enough of a cast to do so? 6 Link to comment
Dancingjaneway December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 In the end I don't think the freaks or police are going to take Dandy down it's going to be the doctor. I think he's going to use Dandy as a test subject or for some scientific project. I can't decide if Dandy will die by his hands or just suffer while in his "care". Elsa's "ignorance" on the whole twin situation doesn't surprise me. She will believe whatever she has to in order to make her dreams come true. If she did give a shit about those girls she would have hightailed it out of there with them when she saw the barn setup. I have a feeling that Maggie is finally going to have to get her hands dirty(literally). I think Stanley will offer to help Jimmy in exchange for her killing one of the freaks for the "museum". 1 Link to comment

Though hot, dumb, pseudo doctor boy can come back anytime he wants. JenE4 December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 In the end I don't think the freaks or police are going to take Dandy down it's going to be the doctor. My thoughts are that the female freaks will take down Dandy to save Jimmy. We already had Lizard Girl (forgot her name), Amazon Eve, Suzy, and Desiree band together against Lizard Girl's father. Now, I think it will be the women who love Jimmy: "Esmerelda," Ima, and Dot--and, because she's part of the package deal, Betti. I thought it was interesting when Jimmy told Dot that he's in love with someone else but didn't say who--was it Esmerelda or Ima? I think it's Esmerelda. She obviously still loves him the way she ran after him when he was being taken away from the police. Also, they clearly had that scene with Esmerelda saying that she can almost place Dandy's voice for a reason. She's going to be the one who figures out that Dandy is the crazy clown killer and that he set up Jimmy. I think she'll band together the other ladies to help take down Dandy. I also think it was a bit of foreshadowing that she was the one who told the other ladies NOT to band together to kill Lizard Girl's father. She's going to come full circle and see that sometimes you have to do what you have to do to protect the ones you love. I think she'll also turn on Stanley and take him down to protect the freaks. 2 Link to comment
Kat From Jersey December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 Emma and Gabby continue to be terrible but at least Gabby is gone now. I've never, ever been on the Gabby love train. I think 'Precious' was a fluke (and honestly, she was serviceable in that). She's a terrible actress. Whew, feels good to finally get that off my chest! Anywayz, I can forgive Dandy getting away with so much, because, unbelievable TV reasons. I can and do frequently suspend my disbelief while watching this show, because you really have to. It's much more enjoyable that way. Plus, it's Ryan Murphy, so 'nuff said. That being said... Finn Wittrock's butt! Wowza. I just love the actor, but now I feel like I just got an early Christmas present! I adore the dorky pigeon-toed way he walks, and he can rock the 50's rich preppy wardrobe. rubinia December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 I could overlook Emma Roberts' bad acting if they'd make her character actually go through with her evil, freak-killing ways. Having her get a change of heart and turn on Stanley just screams Hollywood cliche. 4 Link to comment

If she did give a shit about those girls she would have hightailed it out of there with them when she saw the barn setup. Stanley explained that the barn was just for a preliminary exam and the actual surgery would be done in a hospital. WTF the cop popped Regina for Dandy's bribe? Why am I surprised? I guessing he may come back, because why the hell would he just pop up for a few seconds then never to appear again? Weird. Much fanfare preceded MJM's appearance on this final season of Sons of Anarchy and he ended up having about 2 lines and 18 seconds of screentime. I hope he gets to do more here! Even though Bette and Dot had two hearts, etc., their spine fused together into one, with probably only one bladder. How could they expect us to believe the twins could be separated? I think we're meant to know they cannot. I really liked Sarah's scene with herself. I had no problem thinking I was watching two people, who were facing down who would have to go for the other to have a chance. She was really phenomenal in that scene. Pretty impressive to think she was having to go so deep emotionally... by herself. Not to be too graphic, but if whats-his-name's member is sooooo freakishly large, how did fake-doctor go down on him so easily? Seems like it would be quite a feat even if one did not have a gag reflex. I have to say I was a little uncomfortable with the idea that the nail in the coffin of Jimmy hitting rock-bottom is that he's having sex with an obese woman. Because apparently that's just so awful. And then of course the twins offer to be servile to him forever. Eww. Also uncomfortable. But there's a non-freak blonde chick out there he's into, which is apparently the healthy choice, rather than a fellow "freak." Why can't a freak get the guy? Speaking of the non-freak blonde chick, not only is she poorly acted, but she's utterly milquetoast. Thankfully the previews seem to remember that she showed up there in the first place to kill someone, so playing Miss Morality is tedious. Sidibe's tenure was blissfully brief. She was so awful in this episode. Edited December 11, 2014 by gesundheit 9 Link to comment

I know the cops in Jupiter are dumb as a sack of hammers but at least make the guy get his wallet out before you shoot a woman in the head with your service weapon, moron. Especially since the guy in question is clearly a raving lunatic who isn't going to be exactly trustworthy in following through on stuff. Even from a strictly economic Ayn-Rand-heart-of-ice point of view the cop did not leave himself in a strong bargaining position--Dandy can call the rest of the police anytime and say this guy showed up, tried to blackmail him, shot Regina and forced him to help get rid of the body. As Dandy said himself, he's got more then enough cabbage to be believed. 2 Link to comment

jnymph December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 (edited) OK the way the cop said after shooting Regina “Where’s the shovel?” was a very LOL moment for me ! I thought the actor’s take on it was hysterical. The aftermath of the TP massacre was a serial killer work of art. All the ladies gently floating in a red pool. (although fakey that Dandy could kill them all and remain unscathed !) I wonder if Dandy took a dive in afterwards. I also took some offense to Jimmy and Ima having sex. Like somehow that was such a vulgar thing. I dunno, just hit me wrong. Stanley and Maggie continue to be rather boring characters. For Stanley, it’s not the acting … I just think it’s the writing. For Maggie: both. The Gloria/Avon lady puppet thing was funny and disturbing at the same time. eta: RM should have had Dandy leisurely swimming laps in the TP massacre aftermath; would have been awesome. MadyGirl1987 December 12, 2014 Share December 12, 2014 (edited) So we are supposed to a cop with no connection to either Dandy or Regina will be offered a million dollars and be like "screw it, I'm in?" and shoot Regina with NO second thoughts? Right... As much as I hate GS's acting and am glad she (hopefully) won't be around anymore this season, It bothered me how unrealistic that scene was. As others have pointed out he had no assurance Dandy would pay the money or even that Dandy wouldn't just kill him. It would be more realistic if they just had the cop not believe Regina, dismissing the word of the black women against the white man, and leave. That would have at least been true to the 1950's setting. I actually thought that is what was going to happen at the beginning of the scene, as it seemed the cop was kind of dismissive of what she was saying about Dandy and seemed to not believe her until he made that digging a hole comment. That was my main takeaway from the episode. Also; Glad we saw Ethel in ghost form! Would be sad if last week was the last we saw of her. And I am the only one who thought Dandy seemed actually normal and charming when he was at the door of the party? It was like a totally different guy. Wouldn't it have been all over the room? I'm presuming the police in Podunkville weren't going to waste time investigating outrageous claims against the Kennedys of Jupiter by some Uppity Negro Woman, so they just sent out that one guy to shut her up. I also presume Dandy drained her blood into the tub, so there wasn't too much to make a mess, but yeah, there should've been more if body parts were cut off. Please show, no more DrunkJimmy scenes. I've had my fill. Yeah, that's old and not entertaining. Also, Emma Roberts was extremely rude to the Fat Lady. Yeah, Jimmy was using her for solace, but she has far more personality than Emma and as pretty of a face, IMO. I think AB was just shocked to see them going at it in broad daylight in a public tent, but not really shocked that he'd do the Fat Lady. I do kind of wish she'd kicked Emma's a$$ the same way Misty Day did in Coven. As far as giving Dot's head a break....there are a real set of twin girls exactly like Be-Dot...ones head is always cocked that way....its how they are built With the real twins, they look like one body that has a second upper chest cavity/spine, neck and head stemming from the side of that body. I guess one half of the body is still more dominant, so it's not possible with the spine to have both heads equally upright. Anyone have any thoughts as to why Dandy seemed resistant to killing Regina himself? He didn't seem to mind the idea of her being killed but he had three significant opportunities to kill her himself but for whatever reason he refrained from doing so. In his twisted and fucked up way did he truly view her as a friend? I mean, as much as a murderous psychopath can see anyone as a friend. I think Dandy wanted her to come back with a cop so he could manipulate them all. Honestly, I wanted Dandy to be scary, but he just isn't. He's more like one of the Addams Family - meaning he's macabre and a little spooky, but so campy that he just doesn't scare me. Anyone else notice that the blood he poured into his bath when Gabby showed up was stored in TUPPERWARE? He used the tupperware from the party to save the housewife blood. Now that's funny. Twisty scared me. Edward Mordrake's theatrics scared me. Candy Striper's dad even scared me a little. Dandy's mother describing him to the shrink was scary, but Dandy's just become so corny that he doesn't scare me, and I honestly wanted him to rid us of Gabby and maybe Emma, Dale, Drunk Jimmy and the con artist guy. Does anyone remember what Jimmy says about Ima after Desiree and Maggie walk in on them? Something like, "She smells like lemons and limes"? I was dying at how terrible the dialogue in that scene was, and I don't think it was supposed to be that bad just because he was drunk. It was just plain bad. He said she tastes like lemon pie or something, which I think is what he was feeding her earlier. 7 Link to comment

(Bolding mine.) I agree fully. Honestly, this season has gotten so campy that Dandy is now the murderer in one of those b-movie horror films where you laugh instead of being scared. He's almost a parody of a villain at this point, and no matter how Francis Dolorhyde he got with his whole, "I'm a god!" schtick, all it did was make him seem less scary. Also, I don't know if RM meant it this way, but when the least disturbing sexual overture comes from the two-headed woman, you know you have written some twisted stuff. Jimmy using Ima for "comfort?" Nasty. Stanley stroking off his massive wang to manipulate Dell? Gross. Women paying Lobster Boy for sexual pleasure? Ick. 3 Link to comment
AlwaysWatching December 12, 2014 Share December 12, 2014 Even though it would have been a short part for him I think it would have been funny to see _____ as the doctor. Dancingjaneway According to a little blurb I unfortunately ran across in Entertainment Weekly, this might be a strong possibility. This person might have been kidding, but it didn't appear that way. Doesn't matter to me other than the fact that if this is the "surprise" guest star, I would have hoped for someone else. Maybe MJM was there to throw us off. Haven't liked an episode since ep 3. Ryan Murphy is losing me this season. I thought I didn't care all that much for Coven. Totally going to revisit that one. Dandy was fine is small doses, but between him and, oh the guy with large whatever, they are really taking me out of the story. I also blame the writing. Maybe it's because I lost 3 of my four pets in a matter of weeks and I'm just not in the mood. ha I don't know. Maybe I'm a bit sexist when it comes to this show and, to me, the focus should be on an Elsa that makes a bit more sense and ( since supposedly she suggested this part) having her on screen more each episode. I love Evan Peters. He simply has to have a better part if he is going to continue on this show. I'm getting a feeling that RM might change the cast quite a bit for next season. That worries me. That's why I said I think he might lose me as an AHS fan. If he continues to out gross himself and the viewers, (tupperware party slaughter) without having a well written and acted story as in ASYLUM, I've got to re-think my reasons for watching this show. Now, if he brings back Lily Rabe and she has a good and substantive time-wise part, and the other women I've mentioned before, then I will come back like a lost puppy. 4 Link to comment
Avaleigh December 12, 2014 Share December 12, 2014 I'm glad that we didn't see the Tupperware party killings but I'll admit that I would have liked to have seen the moment where one or more of the women present suddenly realize that the handsome and charming young stranger that they've allowed to join their party is..."off" to put it mildly.
