I love all the Real Wives franchises for different reasons, but NY has a special appeal to me because these ladies do seem to be living a life that I might aspire to. I still cling to a romantic notion of how it would be to live in Manhattan, to be wealthy, well-connected, and have access to all the art, cuture, cusine, and such that the city offers. Something I could never say about the O.C, for example.

Hi all! I've been addicted to the Housewife franchise mainly due to snarky board chat, gossip and insider info on TWoP and until recently wouldn't have been able to pick a favorite but New-York-City (said in the way of the Bravo opener) wins out for 2014. The rest have just turned into a team sport with screaming as their point system. No one wins and its just ugly so my addiction is ending elsewhere. NYC still brings some watch ability. I enjoy the clothes, real estate, frick and frack, the Countess and the rest and look forward to keeping up with the ladies here.

I was "chainey" on the other side. Someone in the RHW Where and Goodbye TWoP thread said something about sadly not being able to take their post count with them so I thought I'd just bring them along with me so now I'm "Almost 3000" here. (the one warning point for boards on boards gratefully stayed there)

No problem at all OhGromit !

Yup ! I'm living 2 kms from Vevey (you see the tower of the castle, on the left of my picture ? I'm living "here", not in the castle, lol, but 100m from it) and I'm working in Vevey, for the City of Vevey :) So that's why I'm fortunate to be able to go to my office by foot and along the lakeshore.

And the statue is Charlie Chaplin, who ended his life in Corsier, a small village upper Vevey. FYI, theres' a Chaplin museum that will open in Spring 2016 : http://www.chaplinmuseum.com/en/index.php

I agree Grneyedldy. PTV has been most accomodating and welcoming. I love the way that the forums are layed out with the different sub-categories. It's very well organized, and easy to maneuver to the subject being discussed, or ignoring the ones that don't hold my interest. No more having to sift through 15 pages of varying discussion on the show when I've only been away from the forum for a day. It took me a minute to figure out, but now I can't imagine it any other way.

Holla! I was a looong time TWOP lurker and briefly a member, but I closed my account because I didn't want anything to contribute to the amount of time I wasted thinking about this show. Years later and with the realization that I still wasted hours upon hours obsessing about this crap, I figured I should just be out and proud and join my people on this new site.

Hi! After a few days of mourning TWoP, I ventured here where I'd already registered my TWoP name a few weeks ago. I already like this site! I don't even waste my time watching RHoNY these days, but I follow it through the forums and enjoy it much more that way. Looking forward to 'cussin and discussin' Carole, Son[sexy]Ja, and Aviva's creep of a father, as well as the remaining two episodes of "Game of Thrones" this season and the final season of "Mad Men" next year.

I am a long time lurker on both TWOP and Previously.  I have to say that I love this site! I especially like the articles than are written  regarding the episodes.  I especially like the features section. Many many interesting articles and ideas. I especially enjoyed under the section entitled  " I Can't with This" the article that Alex Zeidel wrote : "Aviva’s Father Might Be The Most Disgusting Person Ever Allowed On Television"  ( Sorry I don't know how to link yet). I totally agreed with the premise of the article. Interestingly, I had posted on the Bravo web site under the comment section to Ramona's Blog expressing many of the sentiments that Alex had stated. I noticed today that my comment as well as couple of comments that had agreed with me were deleted. I guess Bravo does not really want view dissension. I am so very glad to have found this site --- now that I have found my voice.

What is Bravo doing with the scheduling of this show.

Tonight it aired 10 minutes of Married to Medicine at 10P -- followed by just 10 minutes of NYC -- and ired an hour of Orange County from :22 minutes past the hour. Then Ladies of London started at :23 past the nest hour. And every show started at :23 after.

And the 10 minute 'teasers' just ended' no credits, no wrap up...nothing. It's like the next show started in the middle of the previous show. Crazy.

They have every season? I have Netflix instead of Hulu but that may be worth joining up if they have the first couple of seasons.

I miss the old days of these shows.

Yeah, it looks like they have NYC seasons 1-5. I'm pretty excited about it( way more than I should be). I skipped around the other day and watched a few old episodes (Ramona walking the runway!). I think you can try it for free.

You can join Hulu for free but must pay for Hulu Plus. I watch a bunch of stuff for free so there are many options and I spot checked Real Housewives and they all look to be free. I use Hulu as sort of a DVR because in most cases when I want to watch two shows at once, one will come up the next day or within the next week on Hulu. I just set a list of My Shows just like I do here and it works like a charm. Highly recommended.

Hehe. I was watching old episodes of Law & Order SVU on Hulu and what did I come across? An episode with a fantastic guest role for Countess Luanne about an emotionally unstable Machiavellian head of an about to break big liquor distribution company! Oh there are layers, people. Layers! The episode is called Bully if anyone out there had an hour to kill.

I found it very interesting that Tuesday night immediately after the finale, Andy had 3 housewives on to essentially talk about bogus on-show stuff from Sonja and Aviva (who were NOT on).    I am trying to recall that happening before.   Usually that kind of talk is saved for the reunion shows.     The only thing like it that I can recall is maybe having Danielle on when the book/table flip went down but I am not sure that happened prior to the reunion airing.

I just watched the first episode of The Hotwives of Orlando http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3453512/ , the new RH parody.

Each one of the woman is a version of a woman (or a melt) from one franchise.

- Casey Wilson (from Happy Endings)/Tawny St. John = she's basically Gretchen, from Orange County, the young housewive spending her dying husband (Stephen Tobolowsky) money while "training" with a hot stud.

- Danielle Schneider/Shauna Maducci = Teresa from New Jersey. Personal shopper, she too spends her husband money, has 4 daughters (but isn't sure it's five), say that mister adore her while he's punching a cake (?) insulting her.

- Tymberlee Hill/Phe Phe Reed = a mix between Phaedra and Nene from Atlanta. She always speaks the "truth" to "help you" because she's got to do her and she has 12561 carrers like lawyer and taxidermist (lol).

- Andrea Savage/Veronica Von Vandervon = Sonja Morgan, her dog is her best friend and she makes sexual puns she keeps on explaining "because I'm so naughty". But she's also Lisa from BH, because she's fa.bu.lous and rock her english accent to say inapropriate things.

- Angela Kinsey (The Office)/Crystal Simmons = Orange County again, I think she's Alexis : controlling husband, super stupid, always praying. Could be Melissa too because she keeps on thanking God for everything. Haha !

- Kristen Schaal (30 Rock/Daily Show)/Amanda Simmons = Kim from Beverly Hills. She played a part in a local commercial when she was young, pulled a Lindsay Lohan after that and she's sober since a week. She has the weirdest talking heads, of course.

There is even an Andy Cohen.

It's funny, often a little bit too literal like Burning Love was to the Bachelor, but it still made me laugh, especially the fight

where everybody tells everybody to calm down.

I think it's on Hulu.

Amazing photo, it would make a beautiful wallpaper for my laptop. Just some trivia that stems from Charlie Chaplin. Her name is Oona Chaplin, She is the grandaughter of Charlie Chaplin and the great-granddaughter of American playwright Eugene O'Neill. She played Talisa Maegyr in HBO's Game of Thrones (2012–2013). She was the pregnant wife of Rob Stark and gets murdered along with Rob and his mother at the 'red wedding'.

I didn't know her grand daughter was named as her grand mother :) Funny !

... And if you want my picture for your laptop, send me a PM with your email and I will sent it to you on HD format :)
