I suspect Kandi and Todd have not done a lot of family things together including Kayla so Kayla is odd man out. IMO, they should not have had a discussion about house rules for Kayla with Riley there because Riley is a child whereas Kayla is older. Also, Riley has probably spent more time with Todd than Kayla has at this point. Kayla is the stranger in that house and that has to be a really terrible feeling for her. 11 Link to comment

In her conversation with Porsha, she threw shade at Claudia, Kenya, Apollo and Cynthia. Claudia and Apollo have said nothing against Nene at this point. For the record, Nene left the impression that she is a bad friend to Cynthia based on the things she did to Cynthia on and off the show. Nene can have several seats. She is as thirsty as everybody else on this show. She should beg Andy to get Kim back because Nene has not been interesting since Kim left. Claudia seems like a lot of fun. yourstruly November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 When Claudia introduced herself and said she was a "model", my internal response was like "Like...a face model? Really?! Hmm. OK, if you insist." The red flag went up for me when Kandi and Todd were having that discussion about kids. I am not married and I don't have children, but even I know that you discuss your desire to have kids or not before you get married. I have seen marriages fall apart because one half made the assumption about children and never asked their spouse. Not good. And I thought the family discussion got ugly when Riley said that when she was 18 she would be in college-apparently where Kayla is not. Awkward. The Porsha/Cynthia fight (where Cynthia was trying to hard to reboot her image and Porsha continued to be so smugly stupid that I want her incarcerated) reminded me of all the other fights on this show-I wish we could get random TH from the other people in the restaurants-I want to hear what they thought of these women yelling at the top of their lungs. I love the reaction shots of the other patrons every time this happens. 3 Link to comment

Opening a clothing store/designing clothes is great, but its a good idea to go to school and learn the mechanics. Empress1 November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 College isn't for everyone (though Kayla has the luxury of trial and error without fear of Sallie Mae) but if Kayla's not going, she needs to be working, IMO - not least because it'll get her out of the house and she can meet some folks. I do have to keep in mind that Riley's a child, and not judge too harshly, but I really felt bad for Kaela. Not only is she by herself in a new city, but she has to deal with side eye from her stepsister and a beast of a step grandmother. I doubt there will be any bonding due to the age difference. If Kaela were 13 or something, then maybe, but at 18, I'm sure the last thing she'd want to do is chill with a 7th grader. I, too, wish that college was mentioned, but since Kandi didn't go to college, and I'm assuming Todd didn't, either, then maybe they think that college isn't a top priority? LotusFlower November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 Riley shaming Kayla for not being in college was beyond rude, but even worse was Kandi not admonishing her for it. She just sat there and allowed it, similar to how she stands around when MJ degrades and insults her husband and says nothing. Her passive, say-nothing attitude drives me crazy. Riley's comment might come back to haunt her, because the way Kandi spoils her (and her grandmother), something tells me that Riley might not choose college either, and Kandi will do nothing. 17 Link to comment
