I'm stunned he'd be welcomed by Nicole into Brady's workplace after, you know, shooting both him and his stepmother...!!

It wouldn't be a very appropriate story twist, given current real life events and all, but Nicole should have just accused Xander of drugging her drink and been done with it.

He did already kidnap her, lock her in a cage and try to rape her....and then force her into a marriage and try to rape her...yes, cornering and severely pressuring someone without outright attacking them is still attempting rape...so there was enough history there to make her accusation believable. And because of Theresa he'd already been locked up for that so the courts would throw the book at him.

(Wait - shouldn't he be a registered sex offender then?)

It would suck for Xander to be imprisoned for rape dishonestly twice....but he *is* awful, especially to her and Eric and Brady.

After all she's done in the past, lying to save her marriage and free everyone of Xander would seem an easy out.

I didn't want to say anything, but since you did...I'll simply say I agree 100%.

I don't have much to say except why does Gabi think Victor would appoint her CEO of Titan. Did I miss something? Even if Philip is removed there's still Xander, Brady, Sonny, Justin, etc. Granted, all of them are terrible choices, but I never realized Gabi and Victor were close enough for her to have such an expectation.

I like the new Chanel. I think they both give off similar vibes and the character doesn't feel like she's gotten a personality transplant like what happens with a lot of recasts. While I think the other Chanel had more charisma, I think the new Chanel is more natural. Both have a mischievous quality to them, and I hope we get to see the new Chanel do some scheming.

Nicole/Eric was a nice ending.

Seriously. First of all, they were far too low. I don't need to see the dimples above your butt cheeks, thank you very much. Yep, Tripp, Allie, along w/HenryBlanket need their own place!  It won’t help their being dullness, but it would certainly help me.
Too bad Chanel can’t go stay with her boring cousin Lani again. But that’s too much of a risk with the endless towel drop naked clueless Eli..something is bound to happen between him and Chanel with that  going on. Would be fun..but don’t want that on Chanel.

Well, I just joined this board not knowing that Jake was hated lol.

I love Jake and Gabi so much, I've started watching DOOL again for them after seeing a scene on YouTube. Camila and Brandon have such a natural chemistry. I understand they were in a pairing before. Maybe it's not watching that first pairing that makes me like Gabi/Jake. 

I started watching again in March and I don't feel like Gabi is really into Philip? She even told Jake that she used Philip to make him jealous. I don't see anything between Gabi and Philip, definitely not heat. I barely recognized Jay Kenneth Johnson. He plays Philip weirdly these days. Like a grumpy old man, a younger Victor. I see why Chloe prefers Brady over Philip.

There are more hated characters.  I think the most accurate description is people are divided on Jake.  I like him.  I like him and Gabi (and their chemistry.)  So you're not alone.  But yes, there are others who don't agree.

That said, I don't get why they had him in sweats and topless all day.  He's not as comfortable being nekkid as Paul Telfer, clearly.  And that's okay. I think being partially naked is part of the job but it need not be all ep long.

I think people saw spark between Philip and Gabi.  It didn't really hold up for me personally but I think we're all looking for that sparkle of chemistry on this show and hopes the show pursues it. 

That's why I'm all in an Xander and Nicole.

I don’t know Brandon Barash. All I know of him as coming in as a new DiMera Bro and not a good one at that! I could really give 2 craps about Gabi and Jake..I don’t  care if they’re together..but these two have no business being in the DiMera Business! If they’re so good at being CEO’s start your own company and then take ‘em all down.  Don’t like Jake cuz he’s too wishy washy on his “feelings” of who his true love(s) are!

Have no idea why Gwen and Xander couldn't come up with the plausible story that Dr. Snyder dropped by the Horton House, barged his way in, and passed out on the couch. They thought he maybe had been drinking. Xandy fished out his ID, and drove him home or to Salem Park. Granted, there wouldn't be much booze in his system.

She was squirming a bit too much and Xandy and Eli were too much fun.

Geez, Sami, you can just withdraw a million dollars from a bank without at least a few days' notice? Most banks here don't have more than $10,000 in cash per day unless someone orders some in advance. Unless you and EJ have some safety deposit box or mattress stuffed with bills.

Eric the Pious still looks handsome. I liked Nicole telling him about all the folks in the house. For the most part, she has spent more time with Allie than Allie has spent with Sami. Except for one slip up, she has been a good person.

Eric, you know that Sami loves parties and explodes at them. Maybe not invite her and just meet her for lunch during your visit. And Nicole is right in that she has no idea where she stands or if Eric is just home for a week long visit.

He still lives with her parents, but the last time we got an update on Parker last week, he was in a summer camp. We also got confirmation that he is not SORASED because they specifically referenced him as a 10-year-old.

Kristen kidnapped Chloe and locked her in the trunk of a car for several days. Jan, while kidnapping Claire, stole the car that had Chloe in the trunk. As Philip tried to rescue Chloe, Jan shot her in the arm. Jan is now in yet another coma, as a result of the tussle with Philip.

Shouldn't EJ know when Sami is lying?  Alison Sweeney plays all of those scenes so that the audience knows that Sami isn't being truthful.  It's odd that EJ isn't calling her on it, unless it's supposed to be because he's so grateful for how she nursed him back to health.  

After all of the proclamations of glorious happiness and long-lasting love, I was as relieved as Sami when Xander finally arrived at the Pub.  Even better that he blurted out an accusation, rather than just walk through the door and change his mind on Monday.  I think it's pretty rotten that Sami wants to blow up her brother's marriage in such public manner but they were laying it on thick with all of the "positive vibes."

I know it's not the response Show is going for, but every time Nicole gets all schmoopy about what a wunnerful saintly man Eric is, it makes me laugh a little.  I like Nicole.  Even more, I enjoy her character, but mostly when she's being herself and not some spun sugar imitation of what she thinks a nice person is.  Nicole is terrific if she's on your side or if you're someone she's devoted to, but at heart she's really not that nice or caring about the world at large.  Eric's the wrong guy for her, at least at this stage of her life.  Besides, where would she even store all that holy water he'd need to walk on every day?

Belle and EJ?  They did spark off each other a bit, didn't they?  He had more chemistry with her in 5 minutes than he's had with anyone else.  I think Nu EJ is getting more comfortable in the role and it shows.  I'm enjoying him more every day.

Chloe seems equally unexcited with both Philip and Brady.  I swear she was only there for the food.
