My thoughts about the house. First season with Heather, she lived on the same street or neighborhood as Shannon. She and Terri didn't like that because David was a "dumb carpenter" and they thought they were better than them. So they bought this huge mansion. Can't afford it. Sold it, and now live in LA where Heather can develop content for her channel.

Heather just wants to be in front of a camera, preferably acting but Home Shopping,  House tours on YouTube, whatever.   If it was really all about acting then I'm sure there were plenty opportunities  in local theater to practice her art, lol.  

I don't see any problem with Heather creating her own show instead auditioning for parts she may or may not get.  Not sure she has the talent to create an interesting show but maybe, we'll see when the writers/actors strikes end.

Heather's event was over the top pretentious, just like everything she does. While that self-centeredness can be annoying, it's not mean-spirited or spiteful, which is why I feel Emily' behavior was out of bounds.  She was a straight up dick and Heather did nothing to deserve that.

Then, to see her dig in heels and double down on that behavior in Mexico told me that she's  following Tamra's direction on the Heather takedown. That's why she was laughing at the dinner. I hate lemmings/followers. Gina was likely given the same marching orders but waffles because she likes Heather more. 

Heather was also 100% right not to share the house news with these jealous harpies. It reminded me of Jenna on RHONY when the other ladies are demanding you share your personal business only so it gives them ammunition to go after you. Guarantee Tamra would've run straight to her podcast to share the news.

Shannon thinks the colonics will help but what she should focus on is the alcohol, that's why she so tired and bloated.

I don't care about Ryan and how Jenn's mom feels about him.

Why was Taylor even invited on the group trip?

I'll sit at the unpopular table, but I thought it was fun to see Terry and Heather dancing around, celebrating their house sale.  If I sold my house for double what I spent, even at the miniscule amount I paid for my house (compared to Chateau Dubrow), I'd dance around, too!  That's life-changing money!  Heather often comes off as "too cool for school" so seeing her joy at the sale was fun to me.  99% of this show has become drinking and fighting, seeing some joy felt good.

However, Terry did spoil it almost immediately.  Heather said something about where they would go next and instead of saying something sweet like "anywhere with you" or "wherever you're going"...he said something about wherever they go it'll be in private jet.  Barf. 

I'll go drink my Veuve outta the bottle by myself now....

I think that's a hard pass for me.  I don't mind paying for streaming services where I can watch actual decent shows and movies that will actually feature talented actors, but I'll stick with just my weekly pretentious updates from Heather on Bravo.  $200.00 a year to watch Heather and Terry fake fawning over each other and themselves is too much for me.

So many wives have podcasts,etc. And now Heather has a whole network..I wonder how much they're allowed to reveal to keep their second jobs (so to speak) juicy enough for people to pay attention. Is that why the shows are getting more boring and stuck on formula? I'm sure Bravo signs them to ironclad contracts, but as I wonder about the Project Runway contestants, too... What's to stop them from holding back on their best work or in this case, juicier tidbits to serve their Own projects vs Bravos?

So from what I understand, Mark invested in a podcast app called Fireside, along with business partner Falon Fatemi who we saw in a previous episode when they met with Heather. This investment in the app was announced way back in Feb 2021, so two and a half years ago. It hardly seems to be taking...well anything...by storm.

Heather is just one person who I guess has signed on to promote herself using the app, but decided to make it sound like it is all about her by calling her offering HD Network. The funny thing is, I just read a blurb from this past April when I think it launched, where Falon Fatemi does not refer to HD as standing for Heather Dubrow, but rather High Definition. So was Heather just blowing smoke at her party and making it sound like HD is named after her? Fatemi certainly doesn't seem to know that, she does not once mention the letters HD in relation to Heather's name. Too funny.

No, it was her ego. I’m surprised she didn’t have a cake with “HD” in sparklers and a 10-foot spun sugar bow. She’s gotten a lot of mileage out of those initials, that’s for sure. Of course she thinks it’s named after her.

I’ve watched Terry shill his stuff on TV (it’s now gone from skin care to diet/weight loss supplements), and honestly he should leave Paul Nassif and open a practice with Dr. Moon. No respect for him. (His claim about the weight loss shit was jaw-dropping. He actually said that all that was needed to lose weight was his pills — yeah, you weigh less because your wallet’s lighter. 💸💸💸💸💸💸)

We share the same opinion of Terry.  He will shill anything.  Also, his skills as a surgeon aren't great.  On his show, he does more gaslighting than quality surgery.  Nassif  is highly skilled.  Terry's skills are running his mouth and raking in cash.

I assume a curbside consult could be Terry telling you everything he claims he can improve about your appearance.  Seeing him up close would convince me to not let him near me.  He has made some interesting choices for his own appearance.

I am still laughing at the bolded.  I have never met/seen anyone so into colonics.  That cannot be healthy!  Let your gut flora and digestive system work.  If it doesn't, assess your diet.  Don't keep draining your colon.  When she is really old my guess is she will no longer be able to control her bowels.  Don't know why I think that, no medical knowledge, but it just seems like a possibility.  Could be just talking outta my ass!  HA!

If Tamra promoted it, Bravo would get part of it.  Bethenny Clause.  I think NDA's are normal for large scale purchases.  People who can afford 55 mil homes don't want their business bandied about.

The entire original premise of the show was to get a peek "behind the gates" at the wealthy women of Coto and their families, and how they live. This is exactly what we are getting from Heather, but most people mock her for being pretentious. I would rather see Heather spending her money any day of the week than most of these other women who only know how to get sloppy drunk and fight. YMMV of course.

I don't suppose we would be lucky enough for one of the howives to point out, maybe on a reunion episode, that HD Network doesn't actually stand for Heather Dubrow Network, but High Definition Network? IRRC, on the episode Heather even referred to Oprah's OWN Network, as a comparison to her HD Network. But of course she knows that HD doesn't actually stand for Heather Dubrow. She is hoping others don't find that out, though.

You can be wealthy and not pretentious,. You can be not wealthy but pretentious. In fact pretentious means that you are attempting to impress by affecting more importance than you actually possess. Heather would be pretentious, rich or not. That is her personality.

The Dubrows built the second house in the same neighborhood (Newport Coast), but it was a lot larger, of course. They buy, or build to flip- they owned at least 20 houses during their marriage.

Good for Heather but we don't know how leveraged she was.  $55MM is a shitload of money but if she owed $50MM on it, well that net is not that impressive.  And for clarity, I mean relative to Orange County, because that's life changing pie-in-the-sky money to me.

She didn't owe $50 million. The house cost about $21 million to build (and another $4 million if the lot was not included in this amount). The Dubrows took a loan which I assume would be less than the cost of the new house because I don't doubt they used most, if not all of the profit they had from the sale of the previous Newport Coast house (the one the Dubrows were building when they first joined the show) to build the new house.
