This season the episodes will be airing a week earlier on Peacock Premium.  You can comment on the episode once it is live there.  Anyone waiting for the Bravo airing, be aware there will be early comments on the episode - so don't enter if you don't want to be spoiled!

I have never been so creeped out by charter guests and not just the primaries but everyone.  They were just so weird and that party was strange.  The new deckhand hasn't been on the boat long enough so I didn't get why he did that with Courtney.  She asked if he liked anyone besides herself but she said she was kidding.  You could tell she was too.  He went on to further explain what he meant only made it worse.  It was nice he apologized though.

I don't think I can take another season with Kyle as a stew.  I liked him the first few episodes but he is just so lazy and so annoying.  I did laugh when Sandy had a talk with him.  I'm sure she would have done that with Natalya.  He just couldn't help himself.   What no texting from Natasha?

Dear Lord, Natasha crying over her boyfriend garners no sympathy from me.  He cheated on her, she cheated on him, now they aren’t getting along and wonder why there is no trust, UGH 🤮.  I can see Dave is thinking she might be changing course and will give him another change.   But the worst thing in tonight’s episode was lazy Kyle and his goofy exploits with Natasha.  He was 💯 wrong in telling the charter guest that the head of housekeeping wasn’t there to clean her room.  Natalia was doing a task with the guests, Natasha & Kyle should have handled it.

Like a charter guest smacking a jet ski into the boat, these comments are in order of the episode broadcast…

Watching Captain Queeg and Kyle hold each other’s arms for a while as they chat while discussing Kyle’s latest douchebaggery was a bit creepy.  Personally, I’d reserve that kind of touching for blood relatives or people in a relationship – and definitely neither applies.

And speaking of creepy – these charter guests!  Whether it’s the outfits or the lack thereof, they definitely vie for oddest yet.  And this is a “fitness” charter.  Not for all of them, obviously.

Dave was finally able to chisel the Great White Whale out of the tiny oven, but now with two guests snoozing through dinner, what’s the over/under on when they’ll wake up and want dinner later?

Oh, now I get it – the “Fitness” charter is the women working out, doing yoga, pelvic thrusts – while the Perv Twins take pictures of them doing that.  Got it.

No really quite sure what to make of Reid yet.  On the one hand he seems keen at his job, yet also exhibits symptoms of “foot in mouth” disease.

But it does bring home the fact that everyone on this boat is a tad psycho.

And now we have the cliffhanger drama of Natalya and Kyle getting into a “who’s calmer” contest (as Kyle practically screams his calmness).  What fun for the rest of the crew.

What will happen next week?  Will Kyle and Natasha calmly toss Natalya overboard?  Who next on the deck crew will suffer a meltdown?  Is Natasha’s phone broken because we haven’t seen her texting?  Will people be awake to eat Dave’s food?  Stay tuned (and calm), if you can stay awake…

Courtney puts up this personality, always a bit on, but she has some insecurities like others.

So some offhand comment stings for her.

But Kyle and Natalya wouldn’t feel any sting.  They talk too much to listen to anything.  Was inevitable they’d clash over something.

Natalya sending mixed signals to Storm but always has the friend card handy to play it when it suits her.

Yeah they were creepy guests but now it seems once a season they’re going to have exhibitionists, porn stars, nude models.  Producers probably figured Reid was a bit sheltered since he came from a small town so his reactions would be good.  But he didn’t care, he got almost two thousand Euros for 3 days of work.

The weird thing is, judging from last week's preview, I might have agreed, but he went on...and on. I found it very odd. It went beyond foot in mouth. It was vicious.

I can't understnd 3/4 of what is said on this show because of the accents. Peacock flashes the subtitles on and offf so quickly that I miss most of the conversation. I didn't have this problem on the past Below Deck Med shows.  It's particularly bad with Natasha and Natalya. For me this season is not worth straining to understand what they are talking about. And judging from the few comments each week I bet there is little interest in this show.

I think Reid got caught in awkward word vomit. Once he started he didn’t know how to dig his way out other than to keep going. He seemed genuinely apologetic and like a decent person, but he is new so we shall see. Courtney is annoying and a bit much but I can see she’s trying to find her place being “one of the boys.”

Kyle is so so awful. He only apologized because Sandy chastised him, and he thinks he gets to tell Natalya the conversation is over? He and Tash are constantly vying for worst crew member and they’re in a dead heat.

I agree these charter guests were creepy, and probably the weirdest so far. But they've all been weird this season. I really think the show is having a hard time getting people to be "charter guests." Sometimes it seems like they don't really even know each other. And they need to stop already with the theme parties and the costume parties. It just feels so forced and you can tell the guests aren't really into it. Two of them didn't even show up this time!

That was my take on it too. He's got the same problem Jason had - he doesn't know how to fit in with a group that's already tight with each other and tried to make an awkward joke that backfired on him. Some people know how to "razz" people without hurting their feelings and then there's people like Reid who tries to do that but just ends up insulting someone.

I think we watched Courtney twerk at least three times this episode.  Stop now.   We all get it.

Yeah, enough with that. It's not cute.

Natalya has more in common with Natasha that either would admit when it comes to leading men on and giving them mixed signals.

What did Reid say to Courtney?  I missed it.  He did say his mouth often gets him in trouble😎

I agree with 65mickey, these people are very hard to understand.

Did they bring all that BDSM crap with them or send somebody out to the adult book store?

Very, very weird people.

Courtney made an offhand remark, asking Reid if he was attracted to anyone else on the crew besides her, or something like that.

Reid called her a narcissist (and I think he was making a bad attempt at a joke).

Courtney didn't know what a narcissist is (because apparently she didn't pay attention in school).

Reid then went on rather a bit too long in explanation.  The final result was Reid's words made her cry because she says she has a bad self-image regarding her body, etc., and she was hurt by it.

I got the feeling that the girls were really only there for free trip, even if it was hosted by creepy old men. By breakfast on the last day, they definitely looked like they were over it.

The guests were pretty high on the creep-o-meter with the women appearing to just barely put up with the BDSM and photography.  Just the fact that they avoided dinner and went to bed early....dudes, they are NOT interested.  Dave really seems to be hitting his stride (that salt-crusted fish looked amazing) and the guests were just too drunk or sleepy to appreciate the meals.

But at least the guests were fairly low maintenance and appreciative of the Interior and Deck Crew.  Put them in the nice but strange category.

I can totally relate to the new Deckhand, Reid, digging himself a bigger and bigger hole with Courtney.  It is odd that she wouldn't at least know what a narcissist is and laugh off his first response.  But he just kept going and didn't read the room. He did seem apologetic.

Natasha seems determined to keep the interior drama going.  Kyle and Natalya worked things out, and Natasha was immediately in Kyle's ear stirring things up.  I love that Sandy caught them snarking on Natalya and told them to not say things behind other people's backs.

Mzi continues to be the most decent person and best member of the team. It stung that he wasn't named lead deckhand, but this episode he acknowledged that Courtney was well-qualified, and they continue to work as a great team.

She told him he didn't have anything to apologize for. First of all, both of them were on the boat while Natalya was serving on the beach. Neither one of them cleaned the primary's cabin. Whose fault is that? Second of all, Kyle got all up in Natalya's face and was extremely rude. That alone calls for an apology. I'll allow that it wasn't Natalya's place to call out Kyle but he was clearly more in the wrong. Natasha doesn't want to admit it though because if Natalya has been right about anything it means Natasha is a crap chief stew. Which she is.

He is young and not all that worldly and he is a man.  He tried to dig himself out of the hole he was quickly digging himself.  Typical man, that and not reading the room.  I do appreciate he realized how his words hurt her and apologized as best he could. I don't think he was being vicious, just young.  It appears she accepted his apology and is moving on.  At least I hope so.

Kyle and Natasha are quite the pair aren't they?  I appreciate the fact that Natayla pushes back on those 2 bullies instead of taking it and crying to us about it in taking heads.  Natayla had every right to call Kyle out on throwing her under the bus to a charter guest when it was his or Natasha not being team players.  What is this new "head of household" that I have never heard of before this?  What happened to Interior crew?  Now they have departments?  Sheesh both he and Natasha need not come back......oops too late, apparently, we will see Kyle again in another season.  He was fun the first couple of charters but after the Frank episode he has been worthless.  Hopefully with a different crew he will not be awful.

The girls accents are so hard to understand!  And I'm including Courtney because she can't get a sentence out without that stopped up nose laugh that sounds like she's just been crying her eyes out.  I want to tell her to go blow her nose!  And how can someone have such serious body image issues that a comment can make her cry and at the same time she's wearing the skimpiest clothes in every scene and happy to show off her body or twerk for the camera in every other scene?! Wouldn't someone who is not happy with their body try to cover it up? Something not adding up.

Later when the crew went out to dinner, Reid was wearing a large cross necklace, and it hung out from his shirt, as he leaned forward to talk across the table.

We need *someone* to manage him better and rein him in. Natasha is the worst kind of Manager for him as she gets too gossipy and bitchy with him, which is so unprofessional and makes him worse. (I know, I know, this is a tv show so being professional probably isn’t so important 🤦‍♀️). Kyle has been a great stew who has a good balance of duty and fun… but where has that Kyle gone?

Those charter guests were an odd lot, if I didn't know better the women were paid by the primary to be there, they were not friends and once the day was done and dinner was over they could not wait to leave the table and run to their cabins.  Once again the guests or production decided on a foolish theme for a dinner...sitting at a dinner table in some rubbery skin tight outfit and leather mask, no thanks.

Storm goes to tell Sandy that guests have crashed the wave runner in to the side of the boat and she basically waves it off with a flick of her wrist and tells him that is nothing that needs to be reported, I'd like to know where the real Capt. Sandy went to, she wants to know who farted at all times.

Sandy hears Kyle talking shit about Tash (or is it Natalya, I truly can not tell them apart), and tells him to stop and apologize for his behavior but fails to tell Tash (or is it Nat?) that there is trouble in her department? Again, where did the real Capt. Sandy go?

I would love to see Kyle taken down a few pegs and land really hard.

I also believe that what Reid said to Courtney was truly awful. I know he's awkward and may not have meant it. But think of it from Courtney's point of view. He basically told her:

-she is seriously narcissistic

-this is defined as a loving yourself so much that it kills you

-it also means you love not just your interior, but your exterior too

-it means you're vain

-even if you don't think you love your exterior, you sure do love your posterior (heh, heh)

I know I would be absolutely crushed if someone threw all those insults at me. For someone like Courtney who has self-esteem and body issues, these comments would be even more of a trigger. Embarrassment, shame, and confusion are all appropriate emotions. Yes, Reid apologized and I give him credit for that. But an apology doesn't take away the inner turmoil that Courtney must have been feeling.

Kyle probably got great feedback from some other cast members and producers early on for saying some funny things, especially with guests.

So he thought that he was like Culver on BDDU, who titled himself the chief entertainment officer for that boat.  He didn't want to clean toilets, he just wanted to chat up the guests and talk a lot of shit.

In the latest episode:

Spoiler

Courtney makes a joke about how her outfit probably gave some of the guys boners.  So she's a little insecure, because Reid seemed to be criticizing her.  Says she used to be a tomboy so maybe she's making up for not having attention from men earlier.

I thought Narcissus saw his reflection in a stream and was so entranced with his reflection he leaned over to get closer and fell in the stream and drowned...it sounds like the Reid explained it.

Courtney should see the way Mzi looks at her and she would feel pretty good about herself.

Here's my unpopular opinion:

Courtney was joking with Reid and asked who he likes besides her, obviously.  Reid jokingly referred to her as a narcissist.  That should have been the end of it, but she doesn't understand big words, so Reid told her an abbreviated version of the Narcissus story.  Then Courtney takes his words to heart and feels upset.  It doesn't seem like she would have a reason to have body image issues, but she must have been triggered by what he said because she really fell apart.  I don't believe it was intentional on Reid's part and he apologized for it.  I know Courtney is going through a lot with her dad's illness, but I find that she doesn't give the grace to others that she expects for herself.  Is Reid now going to be excluded from the clique because they don't get his jokes (I found the "Home" joke funny).

Also, I'm over all the twerking, and especially on the tabletop.

Courtney is such a sunny, lovely personality, that it's just crushing to see someone like that trolled by a country-fried douchebag who clearly knows absolutely nothing about her. I'd love to have someone like her around to cheer me up. That's her special talent -- in addition to being a dedicated worker. Remember: she used to be on interior, and now is taking up the challenge of being on the deckcrew -- a strongly male environment that may be daunting for lesser souls. Clearly I'm TEAM COCO. 😍

I'm team Courtney, but in this case, I'm also team Reid. I can think of.a couple times when I was about his age that I made what I thought was a clever remark, but when it didn't land and I tried to explain it, the deeper I dug my hole. All one can do at that point is apologize and hope to be forgiven.

Very strange guests.  I have a feeling the two primaries cooked up this charter and enticed the women to attend as models for their fitness business/ photography.  Whatever their plans were, they backfired, because the women were not having it.  Nobody stayed up late, nobody partied, and it didn't look like they were enjoying themselves or happy to be there.

Agreed. Even the Tilted Kilt girls and the Naked News people looked like they were enjoying the experience.

I'm not a fan of the chummy leadership style of Capt. Sandy or Jason. I'm just waiting for Capt. Lee to get back so we can see a real, stern disciplinarian chew out his subordinates. 😈

We'll have to see if the upcoming BD: Adventure will be a welcome addition to the franchise or if it will run the works into the ground leading to cancellation.

Reid shouldn’t have said what he said to Courtney. However, I don’t think Courtney should have asked Reid who he fancied besides her. It didn’t make her sound narcissistic but maybe a bit full of herself considering he is new and she has broken out into a full on twerk how many times now? Also she is lead deckhand. She needs to hold it together. Both of them should have shut up sooner.

I can’t believe I initially liked Kyle. What a dramatic over the top gossipy turd! What is wrong with Natasha? Why is she constantly draping herself all over the man? It’s inappropriate. She is his boss.

The charter guests were gross.

This is exactly it. I’m a little late but Courtney bothered me last season too. She’s too much of a try hard and I get the feeling that she really wants to be liked in general and she is likable enough were that wouldn’t be a problem. Thing is She wants to be desirable to them as well but also wants to be one of the boys so she doesn’t necessarily get caught up in the situationship drama Tash and Nat have found themselves in. Courtney wants that flirty attention while maintaining the “just homies” vibe. Best of both worlds. I think it’s a bit much and I believe it creates pretty awkward confusing moments. Courtney’s always yuck yucking it up but manages to throw twerking and weird kinda flirty behavior in her interactions with MZI and Storm and cause Mzi is pretty much in love with Courtney and storm is Mzi a best friend the trio is treating it as normal deck crew comraderie. But Courtney bent over twerking on the stairs with Mzi and storm giggling and Reid standing there trying to make sense of the dynamic is all kinds of WTF. That’s not something that Reid (or Jason for that matter) should be expected to understand or classify as team dynamic.

I actually find it kind of annoying. Courtney is nice enough and chill so I like her but the three of them are pretty dorky and lame. I feel like most of their laughter comes from the fact that none of them knows what the punchline was supposed to be in any given situation so they just all laugh at their combined dumbfoundedness. So anyone outside will think they missed something and in reality their the sane ones.

That was a nothing episode.  I have no idea where the new guy's comment to Courtney came from?   Those guests were just downright wierd.

Courtney must have felt extremely sensitive that day because she jokingly asked who Reid "fancied on board, other than her"? Then she immediately followed with "only joking." But when he responded "you have an undiagnosed case of narcissism" it went from teasing to serious, and it became an ugly comment quickly. I wish Courtney could just recognize that Reid only comes from an awkward stance, not vindictive. He also needs to learn that most women have hang-ups, and just because they're beautiful on the outside doesn't  mean the women view themselves as beautiful.

Exactly. Reid is new, and hasn't grasped the trio's rhythm yet. He hears the banter, and jumped in, trying to be funny. He didn't say anything that would be declared unforgiveable.

He was filmed making a comment that should have been laughed off, or met with a comeback. Then he was filmed apologizing and feeling horrible about Courtney's reaction. Too many people walk on eggshells nowadays for fear of saying the wrong thing. Reid should just continue speaking as he does, and/or putting his foot in his mouth, and he will continue to learn what is acceptable, and what needs correction. That''s the only way he'll make progress.

Courtney is such a sunny, lovely personality, that it's just crushing to see someone like that trolled by a country-fried douchebag who clearly knows absolutely nothing about her

To be fair, he made a joke that lost its humour as soon as he needed to explain it. I don't believe he is a douchebag, nor did he troll her. He's just a young, immature male who's trying to fit in.

That’s not something that Reid (or Jason for that matter) should be expected to understand or classify as team dynamic.

Exactly! Great post. I bet Jason would have gotten along with Reid. It still bothers me that Courtney, Storm, etc decided to have a 'Meangirls' club of their own, and ostracized jason.

She was kidding and it wasn’t that big a deal but a woman who twerks at the drop of an anchor should have a little more self esteem and not fall apart because the new guy is a bit of a douche.

Just because a woman is leading the way as a boss bitch in a male dominated field, doesn't mean she should hide her feminine personality. If she's a crier, fine, because that has zero impact on her career.

I don’t see her as a boss bitch at all. She is a decent worker but Storm didn’t even know who to promote, he just wanted to impress Captain Sandy. Plus a boss bitch would know to save the twerking for the nights out and not while they are working.
