I had to laugh at Caitlyn's tweet. As if Kylie hasnt already been screwed already in the parental department. I wouldnt care if my daughter was 30, if I her saw her behaving and dressing the way Kylie is I'd be damn sure my parenting work was nowhere near done.

I guess Caitlyn had to send out some such tweet. I mean really, what's anyone going to say? "Happy birthday to my beautiful 18 year old daughter who has altered her appearance so much she looks old enough to be her own mother!" or "Happy birthday to my incredibly talented daughter who's banging a third-rate rapper who's best career prospects hinge on making it with a teenager!" Really, the list is endless.

 

But "my work is done?" I'm kind of wondering exactly what kind of work she's referring to, other than writing checks for credit card bills.

I'm a car-loving older woman myself.  :-)  Basically this just says it's Ferrari for Dummies, which seems pretty appropriate.  You don't need to worry about the clutch!  The computer does it for you so you can drive with your feet out the window and a phone in both hands!

 

Whoever financed/leased it (Kris) knows Kylie well.

Somehow there's a bit of irony in the "my work is done" comment given that Caitlyn's mom was just part of the show a few weeks ago. I cop to not watching it, but from what I gathered in the forums, there was a bit of "rolling out" of Caitlyn to her mother and I got the sense there's a bit of pressure for mom to be supportive. My point is, when you're a parent, there is always the opportunity for more work to do. No matter how old you or your kids are, there's usually some point where you need to lend support, a helping hand or some cold, hard truth.

 

I hope that Caitlyn's "my work is done" comment was only in reference to the magic number of 18 and that she really doesn't think she's absolved of any parenting responsibility she ever felt she had. She may not have it officially, but chances are, the need will never go away entirely, imo.

Regarding the "my work is done" quote from Caitlyn...sorry, that's like proclaiming that you just left the office at 5:00 pm, but you've been at the beach drinking mojitos since noon. No one has put in any "work" into raising that child in the last several years. Caitlyn and Kris are no longer legally responsible for her, that's all they can really say that's different. Kylie has been living like a 28 year old woman for awhile now, so I doubt that being able to buy a lotto ticket is going to be much of a thrill for her.

Tyga also refers to himself as King GoldChains and his tour is going to be called the "Kingin' tour.

 

A hooker convention is the best description I've seen yet of the party heh. A few weeks ago on Good Day NY there was an EW editor on talking about how Caitlyn was rejecting all of the clothing ideas Kim was trying to push on her and was going to be using Angelina Jolie's stylist for special events.  It explains pretty well why she looks nice and everyone else looked like total trash.

I taught both of my kids how to drive on a manual. We had both kinds of cars and they didn't want to learn on the clutch because it took longer but I insisted. They're both happy now that I made them learn. They both prefer and drive manual now.

I don't watch the Kardashian shows a lot but I love reading your comments and the links you post here. I agree with all of the comments about Kylie and her repulsive mother.

I couldn't imagine letting my 16, 17 year old daughter wear, say and do the things this girl has done. My daughter is 31 now but no way would she have been allowed out of our house in some of the stuff Kylie has worn. I was a really leniant mom, my kids had to go to school and follow my rules, which they did but I also gave them a lot of freedom and allowed them to make their own choices (to a point, of course) but my daughter would have NEVER done what this kid does. She wouldn't have wanted to anyway.

It's sad that Kylie has been raised to think that the way a person looks is all that matters. She looks nothing like she did a year ago, that's so sad to me. I think by the time she's 30 her face will be so messed up from plastic surgery that she'll start to resemble Michael Jackson or that cat lady person that people talk about here sometimes. I have no idea what her name is.

Don't Kylie and Khloe and the others realize that these guys are only with them to ride some coattails to fame?

That's how I see it anyway. I'm not a big hip hop music fan but nobody I know had ever heard of French Montana or this Tyga person until they started dating the K witches.

Kylie is vacationing in Mexico with Tyga now. Legal drinking age is 18 in Mexico, so I guess that's why they went there. Shoot, she left town before she even got a chance to drive that fancy Ferrari. If somebody gave me a fabulous car like a Ferrari, I would stay home with it for a while! I'd be admiring it, polishing it, learning about it, and driving it carefully every day so I could get used to it. But to Kylie, it's just another expensive toy. Nothing special. It's a shame to waste a car like that on her.

I was waiting to see some tabloid stories about her other birthday party in Montreal (drinking age is 18 in Canada), and then I realized that party doesn't take place until Aug. 16, next Saturday. Apparently this is a business deal, a paid appearance, not really a birthday party. Tyga won't be there and neither will any of the Kard-Jenner family.

Initially this porn bidding war made me laugh. After the initial chuckle, however, I quickly felt a bit sorry for her because she's seen as nothing but a blow-up doll. To be sure, most of this is her own doing, what with all the pictures she posts, how she carries herself, the way she dresses, the things she does to her appearance and the company she keeps. I keep coming back to the fact that no one really guided this child (and yes, she's still a child to me even though she's still legal; my 15 year old niece has a much higher level of maturity, greater foresight and better ability to reason than Kylie apparently does).

 

I would be insulted if I turned 18 and discovered that all people were interested in was filming me having sex. Look, it was obvious that she wasn't be going to packing her bags and going to college -- or any higher education -- but it's telling that she's not a week into 18 and the porn offers are rolling in. The most interesting aspect of this will be how the rest of the family responds. In most situations it would lead to an AHA! moment, but though I don't expect any of them to encourage her to take any of these offers, I don't expect any change in behavior, either.

 

My feeling is if/when there's a porno, it will happen "by accident" and get leaked to make money. I have to believe even this family understands that making a sex tape specifically for the pornography market will put Kylie in a level she probably doesn't really want to be in. I'm sure it's one thing to "get caught" when you're having your fun and quite another to get paid up front to get filmed fucking your boyfriend.

Agree, Kylie has given the impression that she wants to be a sex symbol, with the breast implants, huge lips, all the suggestive bikini selfies she posts, and the revealing clothes she wears in public appearances. Also, she can't actually do anything else but be a sex object. She has very little education, and no talent that we can see. If she doesn't play up the sex angle, all she can do is hang around on the KUWTK show, be photographed with expensive cars, and be photographed going paces with that fugly Tyga.

(At least she was wearing underpants.) What is this look supposed to be communicating? "I'm pulling my shorts off, come and get it!" ? Tyga is walking right behind her. Maybe she wanted to communicate "We just did it, and I forgot to fasten my shorts back up." Or maybe she's just dying to pee and wanted to have her shorts part way down so she can be ready when she reaches the next bathroom.

 

Is this some new "gangsta" fashion thing? Maybe she's doing the female version of pants on the ground. Whatever she's doing with those partially-off shorts, it looks like pure sleaze.

 

I could understand her wearing the pants-down look for a cheesecake photo shoot (or a selfie, lol), but to walk around in public in St. Barts like that?

There were articles when they stopped interacting that had said Will & Jada wanted their kids not spending time with the Kardashians.

Can you blame them? If I was a Hollywood parent, I wouldn't want my teenager to be friends with/date a Kardashian kid. It would expose them to an increased level of scrutiny from the media, not to mention the extreme lack of supervision they would receive.
