S12.E15: Reunion Part 2

Bravo posted a preview of the first 6 minutes. Ooof. Teresa is so hypocritical, it's become painful to watch. Combined with her inability to HEAR her own words and remember things she's said literally minutes ago, it's too much.

There is literally zero chance that Joe Gorga would ever quit this show, which is what made it so funny and at the same time pathetic that everyone was pretending this was some sort of crisis.  Even though Bravo made Gorga quitting a "cliffhanger" ending to part one, I wonder if there was a single viewer who seriously thought he wouldn't be back.

It's pretty clear to me that Teresa desperately doesn't want to believe that the stuff that Luis' exes are saying is true. So she's blaming Margaret because if she can claim it is some big plot to get to her, she can pretend to ignore what is already out there.

By the time he got to the other men backstage, he already had a drink in his hand. Where did it come from? How did he get a drink so fast?

Theresa is just a cartoon character to me now. I just can't take her seriously at all. So I basically just watch her with neither hate nor love.

Mirror mirror on the wall, lol.

That was a nice added insight about Luis. He was dating someone when he met Theresa and then just never called her again. Theresa claimed to know nothing about it when Andy asked her if Luis had ghosted his gf but she then she smiled a little.

I think they need to get David and his new Gf in the show.

Why does Delores dress in such revealing garments so often?  She is beautiful, and is still pulling most of them off though.

so David is dating an ex of Louie’s?  Reminds of RHONY where a majority of the cast dated the same men.  Weird.

You spelled dortors wrong.

She looked really bad.  Too much hair and she really needed a bra.  Just too much.  Way overdone.

I was going to mention that, too, but I was too lazy to type it.  I don't know why she thinks she look attractive without a bra.  Seriously.  Quite the opposite.  She was in a talking head a few episodes back without those extensions and she looked much better.  She tries too hard.

Teresa the bestselling author "structured" her garments so they would prevent jiggling. So talented.

When the camera was behind her as she was going backstage after Joe, it sure looked to me like there was jiggling going on.

Unless it was reflections off the mirrors.

Teresa in the split screen at the end when they showed the after show recap featuring her and Jennifer - my God, she looked bad.  It's not just all the fillers and plastic surgery - she looks like a very, very unhappy woman.  The inside always reflects on the outside.  It's a shame.  Life is too short.

Maybe I am being unnecessarily analytical, but i think Jennifer may be lashing out at Margaret not just because Margaret was a cheater at all, but because Margaret was "the Bill."*

*As was Joe B, but the ladies tend to get less pissed at the husbands than they do at each other.

I can’t believe she spent all that money and endured so much surgery to look like that! They all look like a bunch of clowns to one degree or another.

That was one of the most ridiculous things ever on this show.  He is the biggest drama queen of them all.

This could be said about most of them.

BWAH HA HAHA HA Teresa thinks she's doing a good job with her daughters.

Not for nothing, her girls seem fine considering all they have been through.   Well cared for and encouraged to develop and participate in activities they apparently enjoy.  They appear to have been steered toward pursuing higher education and careers. They seem well bonded and to have genuine care for one another. Even Milania who came across as somewhat a wild card when younger.

I can think of one family on this show with a daughter who does not seem to be happy with the status quo and it isn't one of Teresa's girls.

Asking tomato face all the questions is so pointless. One more opportunity to deflect it all as crazy, bitter exes trying to make him look bad. And for Tre to repeat her same phrases...he doesn't have to answer to anyone, he didn't sign up for this, none of its true, you can't burst my love bubble....like a damn screeching parrot.

Delo's got a new guy. Frank's couch surfing with the ex. Like a spiteful teenager.

Jens giant receipts were a big nobody gives a shit moment. She wasn't talking that fast, considering she's given the same justification overview at least 10 times.

I felt like Jack's was exaggerating her level of recovery...saying all the things she thinks will convince us she's made huge strides in such a short amount of time. She eats different foods, she can travel, she doesn't worry about pretending to eat, she doesn't measure...but she admits to still counting calories. So everything is fixed...but that 1 little thing. Tada!!

Marge, you are shameless, so own that shit. Tell them how much Joe likes to give a rimmer to that jiggly, sweaty ass.

Stop the presses! Cheetah quits! Pouts until he gets insincere apology for bitch boy call out.

The way Marge blew off her comment about Jennifer's kids and how they could go to therapy--"It fell flat" -- and then went all in on the bodyshaming comments was quite rich to me.  She makes snarky comments all the time -- Jennifer's nose or lips anyone? .  She should have stopped and truly apologized for the therapy comment.  To be clear, I'm not a fan of any of these women currently - they all need to STFU.

I used to really like Marge but this season she was too much for me.  And if someone could give the woman clothing that fits her appropriately and a decent hairdo, that would be helpful as well.  She thinks she's so funny -- maybe compared the rest of the RHONJ crowd, but someone is always the butt of her jokes.

So weird -- I thought I typed "To be clear, I'm not a fan of any of these women currently - they all need to STFU." at the end of my post.  Guess I wasn't paying attention.  ;)

I agree with you, especially what I've bolded.  Margaret likes to think she is the acerbic, comedic voice of reason with this group, and what she really is is a mean, cold-hearted snarky person.  All of her jokes always seem to be a dig/insult blanketed in a supposed throwaway pun.  I've said this before - Margaret is not and will never be Joan Rivers, who was the Queen of acerbic humor.  Hell - Margaret isn't even Bethenny Frankel, who (at least in the early seasons of RHONY) quite funny with her commentary.

I also couldn't believe that no one else there (except for Teresa) commented about that low blow.

I'm 100% comfortable calling inclusion of your minor children on this show shitty parenting.  Teresa, Heather from OC, whomever.  Yes it's subjectively judgmental.  I'm fine with that.

I really liked Melissa this reunion. She looked genuinely hurt & upset, like she’s finally had it with Tre’s bullshit hypocrisy & ready to quit trying to even have a relationship. I’d love to see her put her money where her mouth is & leave the show. Surely there must be another way for her to monetize her fame at this point. You couldn’t pay me enough to deal with Teresa—I lose brain cells just trying to follow her reasoning.

I agree...Melissa has her Envy boutiques and three kids that are busy with their school and activities. She should bow out now and tend to her business and enjoy her kids who will be out of the house and to college before you know it. Why have all this conflict and family drama? What purpose does it serve besides the monetary side? And is it really worth it?

Melissa loves the attention and perks.  She is seen all over N.Y. City with important people.  She will never leave on her own as they both are famous now.  I doubt Andy would can them, but you never know.  Teresa was their storyline.

I can't believe that I'm a year younger than Dolores. My god. I also can't believe that she paid for that chest because ... well, that dress (and most of her dresses/tops this season) ain't it.

I don't doubt for a second that Teresa loves her kids, but her absolute narcissistic personality disorder will always preclude her being a "good mother."

Jennifer's kids definitely need to be at camp. 🙄

Kudos to Andy for calling Melissa out for putting her boys' football teams over her daughter.

I think Jackie looked great. I appreciate her talking about her shame and embarrassment with her actions.

Wait - did Teresa actually apologize for fat-shaming Margaret? She almost sounded sincere, but then quickly walked it back and acted like it was her selling her leggings.

Jennifer looks like someone from Whoville knocked up a Kartrashian.

OMG, whose baby was that in the flashback that Margaret was holding? I want to steal him!!!!

There is as much chance of her stepping down through her own choice as there was of her husband legitimately quitting the show in the last episode.

Every last one of them likes being on TV and whatever perks it brings them.

I doubt that all four of Teresa’s kids were model kids all the time. We just don’t see what went on except what Teresa wanted us to see. And frankly, I found Gia to be obnoxious and disrespectful when she was featured on a few episodes. But yeah…otherwise what we see is four young women who seem to be on the right path and not out partying and getting into trouble. So if Teresa wants to take credit for that so be it. I never saw her as a real authority figure to her kids…they seemed to be schooling her a lot of the time… Gia once said of Teresa’s parenting skills that she was a pushover and never followed through on disciplinary action. LOL 😂

I thought they all looked rather porn-star/stripper/hooker-ish, with the exception of Jackie.  Melissa's handkerchiefs pretending to be a dress was almost as bad as Delores', but at least she had some better breast support. Teresa's "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall" jumpsuit was Vegas Elvis hooker style.  Jennifer looked like a cross between Phyllis Diller and a madam, and Margaret's look was horribly indescribable except she needs to realize that just because you buy something expensive (breast implants) doesn't mean you need to display them at every freakin' opportunity and prove to everyone that you wasted a few thousand dollars.

Yep. Milania has changed... matured... I kinda liked the " lets keep it real , I'll kick your a*s " phase she was in. She was the closest emotionally to Juicy - I wonder has that changed over time too.

Isn't Gabriella part of HS class of 2022? If so, I wonder where she is going to college.. She's the one I'll would have laid a bet would have moved the farthest away .

Summer camp isn’t a necessary right of childhood passage, however, if a family can afford to send one or more kids to a day camp,or overnight camp, it can be a great way for a kid/kids to meet new kids, make new friends and learn valuable social skills or new skills like swimming, sailing, horseback riding, camping, etc…it can be boring as hell sometimes in the summer to be at home…especially if all your friends are away on family trips or at camps themselves. I went to day camps when I was 7-12 and then when I was thirteen I went to an overnight camp on an island in Maine and I loved it…I had a blast there and made so many friends. I ended up working there for several summers when I outgrew being a camper. Jennifer has the money and can afford overnight camp for two weeks for her kids…frankly, I think her boys would love it. Her girls might have a hard time being away and might even have a hard time with their peers. Girls can be mean and cliquish and Jen’s older daughter is shy and quiet so she probably would struggle…the younger one seems to be more feisty. Each to his own but I know for me, camp was fun and something I still look back on with fondness and with gratitude to my parents for giving me the opportunity to experience it.

Thank you, @retired watcher and @Hedgehog2022 - you summed up my answer to this question perfectly. Summer camp also gets you exposed to activities, both physical and artistic/emotional/mental, that you don't get the opportunity to during the school year. It's a whole new set of friends, but more importantly a whole new set of authority figures that a kid needs to navigate. Jennifer's kids are currently running that household with only Jennifer and a nanny (?) plus her mother as parental figures as Bill is rarely home, and they would benefit from a broader horizon and people who aren't going to give into their whims.
