The thing about all of this, is that Kody’s involvement with his children depends on how he feels about their mothers at the moment.

Even if he really was only concerned with Covid, he still could have seen them. I remember when people started getting together again outside.  Make everyone wear a mask and take temps if you want to be safe.

The idea that he’s the spiritual head of any family is laughable at best.

Gabriel has already said that he will not stop seeing his girlfriend. And she is not part of his household.  So how does that work?  I hope he and Kody can reestablish their relationship.

I haven't seen anything as raw and heartbreaking as that last confessional with Gabe. Kody does not deserve those children. It broke my heart a little that Gabe is at the point where he has so disconnected from his father. I hope that at that moment, Gabe promised himself he will never make those same mistakes with his future children. I hate Kody for the damage he's done to that family.

At this point people were creating bubbles.  The way to do it is to agree on rules and let the girlfriend Peyton into the bubble.

I’d be really curious to know what Logan? (oldest son who is never on the show anymore) thinks of all this.  He was very thoughtful and sensible when he was shown and also because he had to be dad a lot to his siblings.

Sorry to hear about Janelle's mom.  As many of you know, losing a parent is one of life's most painful experiences.  My Dad has been gone for seven years and I still miss him.  Especially on special occasions.

I lost my mom on Christmas eve 1988. I tried to give her gifts to volunteer organizations but they were done with their gift giving. So I took them to a local thrift store.

Robyn said it was "very hard" for Ari to be without her dad for ten days.  In the meantime, Savannah and Truely haven't seen him for months.

I will say that Robyn should be working with her children so that they don't get upset when they don't see Kody for two days.  

I mean, they claim to live polygamy.  Wouldn't that be part of being a good mother and sister wife?  If you don't prepare your children to have intermittent access to your husband you are signaling to the kids that it is okay to monopolize the father.

My understanding of plural marriage is that they are taught to endure. It’s for the afterlife that you get rewarded, so happiness on earth is optional.  I’m no expert, though.

Kody tells Gabe he doesn't know what his girlfriend is doing so he shouldn't see her, but obviously thinks he knows what is Nanny and her husband do every second they're not at Robyn's.  What a hypocrite.   That Nanny should not be there per Kody's own 'logic'.
