So while I love me some Tito's (almost 50 here) I HATE Lexi. ANd Sandi for getting on Katie, who is doing a GREAT job.  Way better than Hannah. But I'd love to see Kate deal with Lexi. THAT would be something! May have to watch a galley talk to see what Kate says about Lexi.

Oh and Lexi is Mt Vesuvius and just about to burst. That silence, they all keep noting how quiet she is being, is a very very bad thing in crazy world. I know...grew up with one. Simmering and stewing (ha, the 2nd stew is stewing) and about to blow. Bless her heart, Courtney, thinks Lexi has changed after being talked to (seen the error of her ways Court was implying). Ha! Run, Court and Katie, run! It's gonna get bad.

Really, water slides and jet skis have that much appeal for these middle aged party animals?  Or do they emphasize it because they can get a lot of footage of people in the water or going down a slide?

They could do that in the US, don't have to fly out all the way to Croatia.  Maybe that's why they have repeat guests, because they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get people to look the fool on a TV show.

Lexi has a bad attitude of course and we get the firing plot back on again, a staple which no BD can do without.

Courtney gets so drunk she doesn't remember what happened, other than the smell and mess from puking on the bed.  Yes this is entertainment, watching people binge drink, either get angry drunk or silly drunk, slurring speech, doing things they later regret.

Seriously they could have filmed this off the coast of FL but that would be encroaching on some other BD show territory.  Not like these charter guests know they're in Croatia or really care.

 

It is actually a disgrace to let highly intoxicated guests use a jet ski. I am from Dubrovnik, Croatia, and only this year we had about 3 tragic deaths involving jet sky drivers (without a licence, which you must have in Croatian waters if you drive any boat/jet ski).

This year the police is really strict on checking rent a boats and jet ski's especially if they are speeding closer then 300m from the coast line (speed limit is only 5 knots).

Captain Sandy was very lucky the police did not do a alcohol test on the guests, because they would have been taken to the station until they sober up, and pay a BIG fine.

Bullying is never okay, not in any situation, no matter what one wears, or what they look like. I am horrified to learn that this is a prevalent thing in the yachting industry.

There is a difference in vodka taste wise and how you'll feel the next day wise.  Smirnoff and Absolut IMHO are the worst and resemble rubbing alcohol.  Mixer should be an accompaniment; not a cover up.  I'm a Ketel One fan first then Tito's second and both are smooth.  Grey Goose a distant third.  Never brought myself to try grape based Ciroc.  Diddy or any other celeb or trend does not dictate my drink preference.

Big drinkers like this probably have gone past the “fun” aspect of alcohol long ago. Now they look for new carriers to ingest their favorite liquor. I guess Tito’s and Peach Snapple (gross as it sounds) fits the bill. 🤮

I think both Katie and Sandy know they can't fire Lexi unless producers give the okay (or order it themselves). But even if Sandy could fire her whenever she wanted, Katie hasn't really given her a reason, at least based on what we've seen her tell Sandy. Unless they edited out a detailed list from Katie about what Lexi has and hasn't done I wouldn't fire her either based on what we saw her say to Sandy.

No basis for this, but I think the replacement chef being held in quarantine failed the covid test and Capt Sandy was stuck with Chef Mat so she decided to make it all about how keen she is on giving staff multiple chances (insert eye roll emoji)

Also - while letting Malia take the yacht out of the dock, Malia properly asked the distance on the port side (I think). Capt. Sandy replied "you have plenty of room." Is that really an appropriate answer when maneuvering between two concrete dolphins? I think Capt. Sandy would have rightfully expected an actual answer to that question and should have given Malia the same respect. Especially since she is Malia's mentor (insert multiple eye roll emojis)

I am probably the only one who likes Matt, yes he def has mental health issues with anxiety or something but he owns it and probably can’t always control how he acts. In other ways he is very kind to people he works with and compared to most of the chefs he is pretty easy to be around.  Maybe long term he could work out well, the captain would expect him to throw a fit, pack up his bags and return the next day, ready to be on his best behaviour.

Speaking of excessive alcohol consumption, I was pretty shocked at the obstacle course the deck crew came up with- so much guzzling, shotgunning and slamming drinks along the course.  It should have ended at the porcelain throne!

No you're not alone I like Matt as well!  Sure he has issues, who doesn't.  He seems to genuinely loves being a chief and loves the people he works with.  As long as he has a good attitude or personality I can get passed him walking off the boat.   Seeing how happy he was when Capt. Sandy said he could stay, witnessing him pay for everyone's dinner--well gosh how can you not like him.  *hugs*

I like all those things about Mat, but he has a creepy side where he brings up sex a lot.  He also gets crazy when he drinks.  If he hadn't been drunk, he wouldn't have taken offense at the others asking him to contain his sex talk and he wouldn't have stormed off the boat.  That aside, if he gets it together, I can appreciate all his good qualities and he makes great tv.

I agree Matt is a bit of an odd bird but he did apologize and I noticed he went to bed early instead of staying up and drinking with the rest of the crew.  He apparently recognizes he does not make a happy drunk.  Good for him for taking responsibility for his own actions.

With that being said I think he's a Sexaholic of sorts.

I love the deck crew because they aren't toxic and they seem A Okay with doing their jobs without an attitude. Oh what a concept! LOL. Not at all, I think the guys are being absolutely authentic and genuine which is awesome but I can't help and wonder if casting made an effort in looking for solid, soft natured personalities to cast this season and also tried to make them as average looking as possible. Same way they've cast Roid rage hot jerks in previous seasons. Either way though, at the end of the day I really do like how the deck crew is getting it done and as much as I AM NOT a Malia fan because of the Hannah thing, and the sloppy love triangle in her first season, as well as her bratty behavior regarding her boyfriend, I do have to say she is really good at her job and good at leading her crew. Kudos to her for that. Credit where credit is due and all that.

I totally get what your saying, I think.  This deck crew isn't the square jawed, high cheekbone, ultra fit guys we've seen from previous seasons.  They do have sweet faces though and I think they're cutie pies in their own right.  Especially David--he took being turned down by Malia in stride and didn't behave like complete jackass like Ashton aka Smashton (gah what a dipshit!) So yeah this year's dudes are looking pretty damn hot to me.  My only beef is they seem so young!  Especially Z so it seems sooo creepy to me when Courtney calls him daddy.  *ewww*

IKR?!  It's a miracle somebody didn't die!  That's a lot of beer mixed in with water activities.  And that stupid, inflatable Chad floatie good lord how old are these people?  I was kinda excited when I heard they wanted an Oktoberfest themed night--I thought we'd get some German culture, cuisine, or history but NO they just wanna drink a lot of beer =(

Sandy going apeshit and climbing up the crew’s ass over the SLIDE. “I want to be the most fun boat on the Seven Seas!! I want ALL the toys out!!!!”

Meanwhile, as the yacht runs aground….
