I mean, I’m not gay but I can see how people turn to same-sex relationships in prison. You’re locked up for years; humans are social creatures by nature. Solitary confinement is literal torture.

And I think avoiding staying on the straight and narrow when you get out is a much more complex issue.

I’ve never been to prison; I hope I never go; I think it is indeed very tough.
