I echo your sentiments about Georgi. I wouldn't necessarily want to find him under my Christmas tree but I don't think he's a terrible person. But he is absolutely the wrong guy for Darcey. That's where Darcey self-sabotages, because neither were Jess or Tom the overly adoring, doting men she so obviously craves.  I wonder if her ex-husband was also a cold fish.

My ex was an attorney who aspired to being a judge, but never made it.

Is it wrong that I wept with joy when he passed away 2 years ago?  What made me even happier was to learn that he'd been divorced from his second wife as well.  He had remarried way before I did, 5 years after we divorced.  I didn't remarry until 11 years later, and I've been married to my current spouse for 18 years now.

Here's what I really don't get: Florian & Georgi are on equal footing. Neither of them appear to have jobs, both appear to be interested only superficially in their respective relationships, both appear to enjoy the bougie lifestyle the Silvas live and neither seems to be contributing anything to the financial side of things, yet it's only Georgi being singled out as a user.

Also, I call bullshit on Octavia saying she doesn't know if she's still married. Civil records are maintained online in almost every state. She could easily go to the court's website and look up the divorce decree. 

I think Georgi is getting a bad rap.

Darcey mostly seems uncomfortable around her kids. She doesn't know how to talk to them. OK, maybe doting it too strong a word. To clarify, he's always quick to use endearments and hang on Stacey's every word. He trots about like Stacey's little lap dog. He's quick to take her side. And you're right, Florian and Georgi are on equal footing. Neither one is a prize. Florian himself was the object of suspicion and tearful meetings and drunken accusations not so long ago (remember the infamous selfie?). He'll do whatever he can to keep that attention off himself. Either way, he's better at being a kept man than Georgi is. And seriously, the bar is low. Darcey was positively giddy with the piggyback ride on the beach. (the way to Darcey's heart is apparently to prance around like you're in a Tampax or Cialis ad). She was happy as a lark, all was well in Darceyville. 

And Octavia? Laughed like a hyena on the phone to her agent after that meeting. Though she ought to do something useful like go to cosmetology school because she will never make an actress.

I think she’s nearby and helps take care of the girls. Back when Darcey was in England with Tom, she said her mother was watching her daughters and before she left, Nancy, Darcey, Stacey and the girls were all shown living in the big house (Mike must have been in China, though) 

edited to add my theory about the Big House. Mike owns it and they use it as a base of operations, for filming purposes and also the girls’ legal address for school. Darcey and Stacey live there when they’re not chasing or moving in with some guy. Their mother lives elsewhere but often stayed there to watch over Aspen and Aniko when Darcey was away, but now that Covid has curtailed Mike’s business in China, he’s living there full time himself.

Amen to that.  The impending birth of "Mabel" (Mothers Always Bring Extra Love) and her subsequent birth completely ruined Mad About You for me.  The writers turned two savvy NY professionals into absolute buffoons who couldn't even get their shit together to make a scheduled prenatal appointment.  The entire dynamic changes and ruined everything I had loved about the show.  Ever since then, I've noticed once a baby is on board, the ratings start to nosedive.  

Regarding Georgi and the alleged comments he made, as soon as that shit-stirring heifer started that conversation by saying she wouldn't name her source, I'd have hung up on her ass.  Don't be bringing some hearsay drama into the mix.  If you can't name your source, take a seat and shut the fuck up.  

I handwave Georgi's ex not having received her paperwork.  This was during COVID and an overloaded USPS was a massive failure at that point.  Those papers could have ended up anywhere in the postal system without making it to the recipient.  I can't even count the amount of mail and especially packages I had to chase down during that mess.  She needs to request another copy for her own records.  

I still can't wait to see Georgi and Jesse on that video call.  Oh, the drama 😳😂🍷🍿

A 46 year old woman breaking down over the fact that she does not have the egg count of a 25 year old is laughable, the cyst does has not caused her pain and if she had not gone for the ultra sound she would have not known about it, so I do not put a lot of stock in it being anything but a vehicle for her something to needlessly ugly cry about.

I bet Florian has never seen an ultra sound in person and probably had a lot of questions but Stacey forbid him to talk during this appointment, that seems very controlling and that she is only go thru the motions to prove babies are not possible so it can not be brought up again.

Georgi having to defend himself against hearsay is stupid, the producers should have known it would be looking lame for TV.  I have never seen anything but a luke warm temperament from him, Darcey always says _____ day was not a good one, hopefully this day will be better, those days seem to be one after another, how enjoyable could any relationship be?

Darcey has one speed, ready to fight, that is about it.

I've tried to avoid watching this show but it's like a car accident or trainwreck.... almost unavoidable.  I hope Georgi is going to fade out of the picture soon.  He's no saint but I was really happy when he finally pushed back against Darcey as she was packing for Turkey.  I imagine he's being paid well to take this nonsense from her but I think it's about time he told her to take a hike since he's obviously not what she's looking for.  Maybe she'll find a new beau in Turkey while she and her sister are visiting the plastic fountain of youth.

Darcey absolutely brings all this grief upon herself. Her constant nagging, "are you good", "are you ok", "do you love me", would get on anyone's nerves.  I actually do not mind Georgi and cannot for the life of me figure out why he puts up with it, IDC how much money he gets from her or TLC.  She is not worth the effort.  How do 2 reasonably smart girls think their actions, clothes they wear and behavior is OK.  It is not! The 2 daughters are amazing and I pray that the apple falls VERY far from their tree. 

How she carried on about those divorce papers and how quiet she got, telling him only to put them in a safe place, after he found them.  Honest to God Georgi, please walk away.

I saw a photo of post-Turkey surgery Darcey and Stacey and whew! I wonder how often they have to get their driver’s license photos retaken. Stacey’s face is especially totally unrecognizable from her last face.

Aw shucks - this made my morning.  Yes, I have struck gold.  We knew each other as kids (classmates - went to preschool and Sunday school together too, graduated HS together) and never dated, reconnected as adults and married a few years now.  He is a treasure.
