Man, Stephanie looked like she was going to the electric chair instead of going to meet her “girlfriend’s”parents. Even in the last episode when she and Erika were talking about coming out - Stephanie looked stricken with dread. She had this look like “how am I gonna get out of this?” 
 

Ed is really a fucked up person for stringing Rose along so that he could have sex with her. It’s even worse that he did it on a TV show. He should have told her from the beginning that he didn’t want to have more kids. It’s totally disgusting that he knew before traveling to meet her that she wanted more kids. My heart broke for her.

Of all the things he has done, this is the absolute worst.  She told him before he went to the Philippines that she wanted  more kids.  Whey, did he think once she met him on person she’d forget about children?   ...in a way, I’m surprised she didn’t, given his unprepossessing looks (and I’m talking about his mayo hair, not his medical condition) and his even more distasteful personality.   But she is desperate for a better life for her son.  
 

Wish we’d gotten a Yolanda update, but clearly we have to wait until Sunday for that.   “I don’t understand.  Why is that other man using William’s photo?”

Steph should’ve just stuck to whatever it is that she does. Trying to come out as bi like it’s some kitschy, free spirited thing to do is annoying. I don’t buy it. Body language and energy always reveal the truth. She’s not into Erica and probably never was. I doubt she’ll come out to her family. Erica seems to be a way to a come up.

This just might be the worst thing Ed has done. He knew before he bought the ticket, boarded the plane, and all the days/months leading up to that moment. That is so selfish and cruel to string somebody along like that. It’s one thing if you’re a different religion. This is a major difference where there is no meeting Halfway and respectfully agreeing. He probably would’ve told her about the vasectomy after he got it done and after they were engaged/married. She’s 23; not 50-something like him. He does realise she has a four or five year old, and he still needs to be raised, right? He seems to aim to get worse every week.

I remember the woman on Catfish who was convinced she was in a relationship with Chris Brown, the one Michael K calls "Fist Brown".  Even after being told beyond any doubt, she couldn't give up the fantasy.  David has invested everything into the Lana "relationship" no way he's writing it off until he's completely out of money.  I'm just hoping ten years from now, we don't see that on television!

I can't get over the BGV and Usman scenes. I don't understand how Lisa (Laura and Angela for that matter) go online to find a man from not only another country but from a culture that is vastly different from theirs and to boot one that women are more submissive to men. So they think that just because they dangle the green card and the green money that the man will just roll over and let them walk over them? HA. Then they get upset like Lisa when Usman said he will be the head of the household. Seriously, they are delusional.

The Geoffery and Varya scenes were hilarious. I was hoping she beat the crap out of him with the brushes but I loved the fact they went skinny dipping. It looks like fun.

David should just stick to the Russian bride tours only.

I've seen pictures of Ed when he was younger.  The height and lack of neck are medical, the body of Spongebob is all him.  He doesn't have to be a rectangle.

I find it hilarious that Usman never mentions his love for Lisa without mentioning that he wants to get to the US.  

I'm scared for him though.  Even more so than Ashley, Lisa seems like she lives in the backwoods and has no problem calling the cops if Usman upsets her.  

If he wants to come to the US he really should talk to people about finding a local Muslim community or a community of fellow harusa (?).  I think that he could find himself at BGLs mercy without any money, family or friends.  She is vile.

The way Ed was pawing at her and flipping her like a kid was creepy as hell. "You're my best view." So gross.

David's friend was picking his words so carefully then he finally said, "She's fake. She's not real. You haven't seen her." How does David answer? "I haven't met her. I need to know if my truth is not the truth." Brain goes numb. There's just no reasoning or pounding this truth into his head. I don't believe he's acting at all.

The way Darcy said "rickety ass dull ass key" reminded me so much of Chantal's "bitch ass slut ass whore."

I don't think Ed was ever truly planning on marrying her, but I bet he also knew that bringing Prince over would be incredibly hard. He doesn't automatically get to come with Rose. That's probably why Ed never really put him on his radar.

I know it's just a show, but Ed actually upsets me on a completely new level. It's sad to me, too, that someone like Rose could feel so desperate that they would think him to still be her best (maybe only) option.

It seems to me that Ash's reality is cracking a bit.  I think he'd built up quite a castle of illusion about himself (with the whole "relationship coach" thing) but he's finding that the foundation is quicksand.  Anyone can type the words Relationship Coach on a business card and spout a bunch of platitudinous drivel for a while but at some point just being sort of attractive isn't enough.

That struck me more as sheer cruelty than a mere need for affirmation.

Ed drops the bomb, and Rose hints at wishing to convince him to have babies later.

He shut that down in a really hard way. His pretense of sweet goofiness vanished for a moment, and one could see a completely different, domineering, and selfish person. I forget his actual words. Something like he will absolutely never change his mind.

In the time it takes to snap one's fingers, he was back to "do you still love me?" like he wanted to erase the conversation as quickly as possible and get back to sex. He didn't ask her if she still wanted to pursue a relationship. And if the answer is no... she's stuck with him on that island.

Fat Ed is loathsome through and through.
