With that said, I wish I lived in a state that would legalize it because I wouldn't mind partaking once in a while. But I'm not GG, I have sense and would use it wisely.

 

I live in a state where its legal (Illinois), maybe the COVID made it a PITA to get it, not sure....but when they opened Jan 1, the lines were blocks long, so I didn't go.  then COVID hit, and no one could go, then they went to online ordering and only take 50 orders an hour medical and recreational, another PITA. Its very expensive and the taxes are insane.

Our state considers weed shops "essential", so as long as we were masked and social distant (they limited how many people could be in the store at a time aka 3) or called in our orders and had them delivered to our car outside...it wasn't a problem.

She also mentioned that she is back on "hard" stuff for her RA (the reason she is not breastfeeding).  So she is probably on opiates.  Add that to the weed and she is majorly fucked up all day long... with a new baby.

Abso-fucking-lutely. And gg has no experience or skills to EVER get a real job. Doing anything. 

Her parents have raised her and enabled her to be a big fucking whiney baby. They pay for EVERYTHING gg has. That is something gg admitted to years ago. Her parents take care of her every need..cars, apartments, clothes, food. 

What ever happened to gg's hair extension business? Lol. I guess she saved all the inventory for herself.

I have little knowledge of marijuana as it applies to its use in current times. However i do know many people who use it and they all tell me that smoking it (or eating it i.e. cookies) is to get stoned/buzzed/high.

Using cannabis for pain relief is a totally different form of consumption and a different type of processing for the THC. So if im correct (and I'm probably not!) gg smoking the pot is to get buzzed and not so much for pain management.

I will gladly have someone more knowledgeable correct me.

You can use smoking or edibles for pain use, as long as you're getting indica.  Some people have trouble swallowing pills (for a variety of reasons) and find smoking easier--especially for those who are using weed for pain management who have trouble eating enough to keep their regular medication down.

Because she’s loved Elijah Wood since she was like 12 and needed something other than a cat to name after him?  Anyone else think it’s weird she named her baby after her teen Hollywood crush?  It’s a biblical name, and I thought it had Jewish roots.  Doesn’t GG hate Jews (their trip to Israel)?  I think she also called him Elijah WoodS, which may have just been her slurring from being so high.  

I have no idea why she thought she would be a good parent.

The dissonance between how dramatic, hopped up, and desirorous these people are to get their stories out and how little I care about them is staggering.  Who gives a shit about Naked Jenga anymore?  I can’t understand it and I don’t care about it.

I realized that one of the reasons Destiney looks so much better now than she did during the season is because she looks like she lost 20-30 lbs.  She was annoying as hell with the hand-waving and Andy-juning in the beginning and I still can’t stand her.

I believe Destiney that MJ didn’t want to do diddly squat until her contract was signed. I believe Reza that she and Tommy had a People exclusive about the baby. I am now confident there would have been cameras/co-stars at the hospital when MJ was giving birth if she’d wanted them there.  MJ doing her hair in a mirror while the reunion was shooting was very arrogant.  I had to agree with GG when she told MJ to hurry up when she spoke.  It was also so obnoxious that MJ kept getting up and leaving every two seconds. Her pay should have been docked each and every time. 

I don’t really care about the content anymore.  Reza and MJ are both disgusting people.  Whoever is managing to keep their cool at the moment is the person whose side I’m on.  MJ and her screaming over people and Reza’s wobbly voice are horrendous in equal measure.  They both have this very non endearing habit of pounding one fist into another to make a point.  Every time either of them do that, I have this Pavlovian response to discount the words coming out of their mouths.  I can’t stand either of them.  Anytime anyone is groveling for sympathy, I have none for them.  I feel like they were both doing that.

MJ referencing Reza having body odor once during the season was what I called Advanced Reality Show at the time.  The second time she did it—at the reunion, telling him to get more cats—had the reverse effect.  It made me think perhaps MJ is so preoccupied by body odor because she suffers from it. 

The best part of this reunion by far was the flashback to the season two reunion.  Were they serious with that retrospective though?  It’s not a Shahs series recap; it’s supposed to be a time to discuss the season that’s past.  If they can’t fill 86 minutes with the season at hand, this shouldn’t have aired.  What’s ironic is that so much more info was spilled during the WWHL episode that aired after the finale (which I mistakenly thought was the reunion) than the reunion itself.

Vida, but no Tommy?  He was so conspicuous in his absence.  Is someone on a very convenient voluntary 72 hour hold in the nervous hospital?  It looked like that’s what he was coming to at his last WWHL episode.

I mentioned in another thread that I’m looking to weed Bravo shows out of my life.  If this comes back, I’m not at all sure I’ll watch it.  I simply don’t care about them.  I wish Nema the best with his funny looking/cute dog.  Lol at them thinking this viewer gives a shit if MJ and Reza find hope for their friendship “four weeks later.”  Aggressive yawn.  Peace out losers (this motley crew, not my peeps here)!

How sad is it I thought I had nodded off during the show, only to discover that we weren't even 15 minutes into the show!

So the two worst people on this show spent about 50 minutes of this show going 'round and 'round doing nothing, followed by an emotionally-manipulative montage of them in the past, at which point I channel surfed for a bit, only to discover the least-qualified person in the world, Vita, had made an appearance to provide her unwanted advice, so I changed channels again and returned just in time to catch Reza at his house wearing Adam's bathrobe tearfully telling MJ he was still emotionally and spiritually spent four weeks later, at which point I rolled my eyes and turned my TV off.

If this show comes back for another season I hope for the following cast/filming:

Reza (with Adam just in the background at gatherings). I did like that Adam did admit that all of this game of Ali telephone bullshit was his fault.I still have a soft spot for Reza because of him adopting "miss moo"his blind cat. He does bug the shit out of me sometimes but I find him and his layers intriguing.

MJ, Tommy & "Darth Vida" can be gone stage left. Have never really liked MJ and never will. She is a dirty, slovenly, messy person who is the one who probably smells bad. (b.o. covered by strong perfume as we saw her do in the airport and most likely does frequently instead of showering daily). Tommy is the perfect match for MJ and Vida is just a horrible person at her rotten core.

Mike and his new love as long as they are still together and get married in a small private non filmed ceremony or just continue cohabitation. He does really seem that he has grown as a person and realizes what is important in life and is moving forward instead of standing stubbornly still or in spinning in circles.

GG is a hot mess and high as a kite as always, she can go. Mommy and daddy can take care of her and the baby for the rest of their lives until they pass and she inherits their assets.

Nema ( minus his sister) is okay as is Destiny (have liked her since the people's couch) they are there as the single go betweens of the group and as long as they remain as confirmation glue about the truth between the main cast and behind the scenes conversations it's all good.

I would like them to rotate Shervin back into the mix from time to time. He was nice (and sexy to me).

Would also like Lily to make at least one cameo update of her fabulous self.

Holy Shit! MJ is off the chain with her drama, screaming and getting up and disappearing, over talking everybody. FIRE her! 

I was surprised Reza was as subdued as he was. Must have taken some Xanax before the reunion. I can't stand the guy but was impressed at his somewhat level composure while MJ was railing on him nonstop. That's not typical of him. 

 Andy asked Mike to stay and be the moderator between Reza and MJ, then Mike sits there not being able to get a word in the entire time. Andy really lost control of this reunion. Shame on you Andy, you DID NOT do your job.  

 If I were the other cast members I would be pissed off. They were asked to get up and leave and were never able to come back. They should all agree not to come back or at least not to film with MJ. ICE her out, see how she likes that. 

Icing on the cake, after putting us all through that, they have their sweet little phone call. They still love each other, let's fix this, you are my go to person if I ever need any help, blah blah blah. I could not believe MJ said if she was in jail she would spend her last quarter on calling Reza before her husband, mother or anybody else in her life. Whoa!!! Tommy must be furious at that revelation.

I was extremely disappointed in the final few moments of this reunion special. I thought MJ had come to her senses and cut toxic Reza out of her life, but these people will do anything to make a Bravo buck. I suppose she has to feign contrition and a willingness to start afresh with Reza. If only Bravo had told these people the Shahs of Sunset would not be returning for another season, I think we would have seen a much more truthful reunion.

 This used to be one of my favorite Bravo series but now I find myself wishing that it perishes. None of these people are deserving of any more screen time.

P.S. Reza's marriage is a shit show. He canceled their wedding, made out with (and probably fucked) that stripper, took his friends on their honeymoon trip, and is openly dismissive and derogatory towards Adam. When did the alleged airplane incident take place? Was it before TVwoP closed down? I don't see it in the media thread.

Ha, I would like nothing more than to share interesting details, but as I posted at the time, the message was lost in the medium of Tommy’s shouting and inability to control his impulses. Tommy was screaming stuff you already touched on in these threads this season, Rahul, like the fact that Adam & Reza will never split, because Adam has so much dirt on Reza, like hiding his assets so that Reza could file BK and commit fraud and I thought, “this is good, but not good enough that I’m going to sit here and feel like Tommy is verbally abusing my face and ears. I’ll catch this at the real reunion if he takes a Xanax.”  

Joke’s on me, though, because the reunion films months later, Tommy has disappeared into the ether like Lieutenant Colonel Markinson in A Few Good Men, and no one has word one to say about the backstory, because Andy and Reza are acting in cahoots as Colonel Nathan Jessup, ordering a cone of silence (ok, I’m mixing pop culture references there, but something very strange happened at Bravo, there was a cover-up, and it makes me frustrated that we can’t get a healthy dose of reality on a reality show). There’s time to go back and rehash a five year old bank robbery allegation against MJ, but we can’t talk about Reza’s bankruptcy filing (unless I missed it in another fit of shouting?). Fuck you Bravo, we’re smarter than this.

I find myself wondering about Tommy's conspicuous absence from this year's reunion as well. I could understand if he had been unable to film due to the restraining order Reza and Adam have not lifted against him, but with this year's socially distanced virtual reunion taking place in the cast members' respective homes that theory doesn't hold water.

I suspect Reza and Adam went to Bravo and refused to film if Tommy took part because he would readily expose their house of cards. That being said, I was shocked and appalled to see MJ backtrack and exalt Reza in her life once more given the status of the extant restraining order against Tommy.

I find myself wondering about Tommy's conspicuous absence from this year's reunion as well. I could understand if he had been unable to film due to the restraining order Reza and Adam have not lifted against him, but with this year's socially distanced virtual reunion taking place in the cast members' respective homes that theory doesn't hold water.

I suspect Reza and Adam went to Bravo and refused to film if Tommy took part because he would readily expose their house of cards.

I wouldn't personally want to be friends with either MJ or Reza. However I do believe they love each other in a twisted way. I see Housewives throw the word around loosely, but these two literally go back almost as long as I've been alive. I think each one is an only child. They are like family members who are awful to each other despite the love and history that's there.

The person I'd most want to see let go is GG. I've found her pretty boring this year, and she's gotten so smug.  

I've never seen Destiney look prettier. 

Mike's not perfect, but I think he's a more decent human than the likes of MJ and Reza.

The only one I like a lot is Nema. I'm not opposed to more Shervin either. I also preferred Sara to the other women. Basically, I would like another season of Shahs, but there should be a cast shakeup.
