I saw the promo's for today's episode so all i have to say is this

Carly. everytime you say "you'll get back everything that you lost" i wish it would occur to your pea brain that you only lost what you had because you wanted to. YOU gave up Sonny. YOU decided not to take the hotel. YOU decided not to ask for more in alimony. so shut your piehole.

She's on a hero's journey!! A regular Byronic hero that one.

Rock bottom would have been her ass being carted off to Pentonville, not having to sell the mausoleum she lives in.

I sincerely hope Alexis is planning a special edition of The Invader for when Carly introduces a patty melt to the Kelly's menu. #NotAllHeroesWearCapes #CarlyForMayor #CantKeepAGoodCarlyDown

Best moment:  Finn's expression when he sees Portia crying in the break room.

Portia, take the gift that Curtis doesn't want to see you and walk away.\

Speaking of people who should give up, Nina, Carly will never accept you. Stop trying.

Sasha should not be in restraints. Cleanly the writers have never been in a locked ward in a mental hospital. (That cupboard full of supplies is just begging to be broken into.) SM is doing a good job but I hate seeing these scenes. Losing his license isn't enough, Montague needs to die.

This Molly is not working for me. I don't care about her endlessly talking about that she can't carry a child and the actress' voice isn't helping.

So clearly, they’re going to pretend that Carly can quickly make $5 million and then some from a diner so she won’t have to sacrifice anything. This show is the worst.

Finally things are moving along with Cody story. Portia didn’t spend time whining about what to do so action on that front. Carly is such a bitch. Why Nina bothers us beyond me. Maxi is going to get a house. But where?  The scab writers might be trying to clean their plates of all crap they were handed.

The first day, seven minutes after surgery she was all "ITS OVER YOU'LL NEVER WALK AGAIN".

I understood Curtis freaking the fuck out but I did not understand why the doctors were so dire…..like isn’t it normal to have swelling after a spinal injury?  That was weird.

I love how Sonny treats murder and blackmail like a minor inconvenience akin to a flat tire that he has to handle.

I probably enjoyed his eye rolls more than I should have, ha!  I’ve liked Sonny these last few days interacting with Austin and Ava, even the extremely awkward double date was humorous.

So we now have an answer as to that conversation yesterday between Sam and Dante about Molly's accident.  Today, Sam heads over to Molly's and finds her on the couch with her foot in a boot.  She says she got distracted and fell down the stairs in her heels.  I have to assume that the actree had an accident in real life and so they needed to write it in.  (Like that time Matt Leblanc hurt his shoulder so they wrote in into the Friends episode that Joey was jumping on the bed and fell off!!)

I'm just wondering if the nunuMolly actress was chasing her grandkids around and felll.  I mean, you can break a hip that way!!!!

Carly warns Nina that she'll get back everything she lost.  What exactly has Carly lost? The hotel? She didn't lose it, she gave it away with both hands. Her husband? In the time that she hasn't had him, she's had Jason and Drew. she's not hurtin' for a man. Her house? Nope she still has that. A job? Nope, Mommy gave her one for a dollar. Again, what has she lost???

Finally Cody tells Dante about the poker games.  Man, these writers are closing out stories left and right.

Sofia is clearly no longer pregnant as you can clearly see when Sasha lay back down on the bed.  So if this story was written for her maternity leave, when did she actually go on mat leave?  We've seen her hugely pregnant and then almost the next day, clearly less pregnant.

I see that the torture of Sasha continues. Dr. Thumb is all kinds of sleazy and Gladys is just the worst. Please don't try and redeem her, just send her ass packing.

I don't even remember that Curtis and Finn were ever friends or that they even interacted in the past.

Portia should just sign those annulment papers and put Curtis's things in the driveway.

Carly is such a bitch. I don't think any soap character comes close to her. Can't be civil for 5 seconds? No?

Cody finally fessed up to his association with Selena Wu. I'm fine if she kills him. The character is better than when he started, but that's not saying much.

"You've dropped your grudge against. me." What?! Nina has known Carly long enough to know Carly will keep her grudge against Nina into the afterlife.

Yes. It was inexcusable for Portia to be doom and gloom there. As a doctor she should know better, and, she's no spinal surgeon.

Tbh I’ve always got the impression that Frank resents younger actresses getting pregnant and both of Sasha’s storylines during her RL pregnancies reinforces it to me. The way they wrote for the Sabrina actress during her pregnancies was similar

@Cheyanne11 -- That's what I get for commenting after muting the Sante scenes! Oops :) lol  I didn't realize Molly was in an accident until I saw her today.

I think nuMolly is an okay actress. I just find it hard to suspend my disbelief re: her age. When I look at her, I see someone close to Sam's age. She doesn't look 25, and that's how old Molly should be. I'm really curious about her scenes w/TB and how they will play off each other. I must admit that I wasn't paying much attn to their scenes b/c I was just focused on how old she looks. The crazy thing is the actress is not old at all. She's 39. That's not old but I just can't believe they cast her to be a 25-year old. Anyway . . . I'm sure I'll get over it eventually.

I'm happy Cody said something but I had hoped he would have clued in Sasha. I know Ms. Wu threatened him in some way (I didn't watch those scenes), but I always thought he could have told Sasha so she could have protected her assets.

I also thought SM didn't appear pregnant today. It was weird b/c she's been on pretty consistently.

I was mad at Nina for even talking to Carly. I know the show thinks this rivalry is the best and everyone tunes in to see Carly rip into Nina but . . . . it's not. There's no reason for these two to share scenes. Carly will hate Nina until she dies. Nina just came off pathetic today. This woman doesn't like you. Order your food and leave. I don't know what the writers continue to do this to Nina. I guess Carly has no other story so Nina must be sacrificed for her. Ugh. I muted them after a certain point.

I think I've been a bit more understanding of Curtis than most lately. Is he throwing a pity party for himself? Yes, but I think it's warranted. I can't imagine losing the use of my legs and coping w/that. I give him some grace to be self-pitying and upset. That said, I loved Portia telling him what was going to happen at the end of the episode today. As Liz mentioned, him being paralyzed doesn't mean he can't be a jerk or you can't yell at him.

For me, the Sonny/Ava/Dex/Austin and Portia/Curtis scenes have been the best scenes this week.

Just waiting for Carly to hold her fist up in the air and say, "As God is my witness, I'll never go hungry again! Tomorrow is another day!" Extra credit if the writers can get her to wear a bonnet when she says that. :-)

It seems like the camera work is a little different too, with some long shots focusing in.  Are there changes in those personnel as well?

Regardless, I'm kind of enjoying what I'm seeing.  To me, it feels like there is a sense of investment in the writing, rather than phoning-in.  Don't know that they'll have any leeway on story arcs, but it might be interesting to let them try.

Digressing to another point---how did PC Scorpio become so helpless in dealing with his grandchildren?  And....I thought little James was a hoot.

It’s probably the conspiracy theorist in me but the scab writing is giving me insight into what character/couple writing is dictated by Frank and the network versus the writers of the show because some are a stark contrast while others are exactly the same and even more OTT if possible (cough trying to make Joss/Dex look sexy)

I wish they could have had Carly and Nina working together to figure out what's up with Sasha because they see something weird or something. Carly sees Nina truly cares about Sasha and can see she could be like that with Willow. Nina feels more and more awful about the SEC stuff. They become closer ... even friends ... THEN they blow it up.

It's not interesting watching two people that hate each other hate each other bigger. There's no stakes.

She's a beast.  That whole "Willow is nice, but the rest of MY family isn't forgiving."  Like, congrats on raising a bunch of monsters, I guess.

So I guess it's full-on no going back that Gladys is an asshole.  Gaslighting Sasha the way she and that doctor are is vile.  I mean, I'm sure Carly will somehow be the one to figure it out and rescue Sasha (right after she volunteers, to TJ and Molly's delight, to be their surrogate, because god forbid she's not in every storyline), but this torture porn the writers are intent on putting the character through is dreadful.

I want Heather to stop by hoping to get Cam to make her another BLT and upon finding out her step-grandson is no longer working there and thus  unable to make her a sandwich, she goes on another rampage targeting the Carlys. Her calling card for this rampage could be stuffing tofurkey sandwiches into her victims' mouths and the PCPD can spend months looking for the Tofurkey Killer.

I want Gladys to suffer the tortures of 10,000 agonies for what she is putting poor Sasha through. What a horrible selfish greedy, heartless, no conscience bitch she is. That Dr friend of hers, I wish the same for him. Now that Sasha has very clear mindedly recognized the fact that it was his prescription that was the start of her downfall, I am afraid he is going to want to kill her off. He and that witch Gladys will do anything to avoid being outed for what they both are. Monsters in human bodies. How could Gladys let this get so out of control and not do something to stop it at this point?

I legitimately don't understand this doctor's motivation to do the things he's been doing to Sasha. Can they slow their roll and tell us why he is so hellbent on doing Gladys's bidding? Is he is a lousy gambler too, or something?

Right now it looks like Cody is the one coming to Sasha's rescue, but we've had storylines where a Carly beat the character the story was written about being beat to the punch. Carlys must Carly.

It has something to do with the poker games, but I don't think it's ever been spelled out. I think he offered to cover Gladys's losses one time, but then she would owe him, so why is he involved in Sasha's life? The whole thing is dumb, as usual.

So he's basically after Sasha's money.

Honestly, I find this whole story with Sasha really revolting. The Dr actor is good at playing ups his villainy and Gladys is a remorseless bitch. When Sasha told the nurse to call her family and then said Gladys, I sighed. Have them call Nina instead, or Sonny.

I guess the goal is now to keep Sasha isolated so that they can make her believe that she's gone completely coocoo.

It's gross.

As soon as Gladys and the doctor were telling her she imagined the 'you're doing great' convos she had with people, I mentally checked out of this storyline.  I assume the next few weeks are going to be her friends trying to see her and Gladys keeping them away.  I also guess Dr. Asshole is the ONLY doctor in the place and therefore no one will be able to go over his head.  Because that's how these plots work.

It's unfortunate for the Sasha character but I really like watching her constantly dealing with horrible shit.  Mattsson is enjoyable in the role and always seems committed to whatever the writers throw at her.

I also love watching the Gladys character sink further and further.  She is entertaining to me and I wonder if she will continue to skate by or not.

No, she's just older. Sunrise, sunset, you know.

So...Charlotte visits Lulu. Was this part of the pre-strike outline, or are the replacement writers going rogue? Also, why has no one told Charlotte how kick-ass Laura is? She's not this timid old lady.

Aw, look at Michael pretending to be a businessman.

Michael on the phone at work: The figures don't add up. Do it again and get me the right figures. (Am I supposed to be impressed? I would be more if Michael pointed out exactly what the trouble is instead of bullying Aurora employees. Maybe the problem is because, you know, Drew is in jail for SEC violations.)

And there is Carly, butting into Sonny's storyline because she has nothing of her own.

Nina, just give it up. None of the Carlys will ever give you an inch.

Joss to Avery floating on her back: "That's amazing, you're better than me. You can get into the Olympics for that.'  I don't know why the Carlys have to praise everything little thing to the skies. It's untrue, it's terrible and it creates monsters like Michael and Joss. Ava said to Avery "that's excellent" which is much better parenting.

Joss, you have no right to know what's going on with Avery and Sonny. Michael and Joss, Carly's children, making demands about Avery (and probably telling Kristina to butt out) who are Sonny's.

Laura and Valentin in Chechnya is fun. If that other guy buy bought the house for his family, why is everything under dust sheets? And who authorized the sale if Nik is dead? Valentin left him the house.

Also nice that the 'Is Nik in Chechnya?' and the 'Mason has Nik' stories are both moving along.

Much better than Molly yelling at Kristina is their talk today about Kristina's relationship with Keifer and her insecurities and being able to do a good job with her centre.

Good for Molly for calling out Michael on being a bastard to Nina.

Nice Sprina scenes too. I respect picket lines but these writers have given the shot a shot of energy it badly needed.

Just now, Pingaponga said:

I  think that it's Scarlet Fernandez who was Charlotte 2016-2021. She'd be 14 now.

Very stupid. Also, doctors have to have priveliges in hospitals in order to be able to practice in them. It's unlikely that he would be working at GH, court-appointed for assessments and have privileges at Ferncliffe too.

I also liked Nina asking Michael point-blank if he was open to her having a relationship with Willow (that Willow wants, you turd). Nothing will change, but at least she's being more assertive.

I don't think we'd have gotten a Molly/Kristina conversation like we did with the regular writers, so already the show is improving.

Oh, I bet Maxie is going to move into Lulu and Dante's old house.

Wow, I really hate that Trina is caving to Portia's wish that Trina and Spencer don't see each other. My mom shared stuff about my cancer with more people than I was comfortable with, and when I called her on it, she said, "Maybe it's what I need," and that snapped me out of my selfishness. I wasn't the only one going through stuff, and she deserved to get the support she needed. It's the same with Trina—if she needs to lean on Spencer, she should be able to lean on Spencer without fearing Portia will have some sort of breakdown.

Ava should not need Sonny to mansplain what he's doing. She's a schemer!

Molly and Kristina: Molly suggests that Kristina take classes and get experience running a center for at risk youth. Good advice - why didn't Kristina do any of that before getting started? Supposedly, the center is almost ready to open. With what, I ask. If this is just a building, then this is going to fail - she needs to hire people with this experience, get funding, etc.

Laura and Valentin: After talking to them, the taciturn guy says, "Show yourselves out". Maybe I'm provincial, but I never trust anyone I don't know well to "show themselves out" - I walk them to the door and lock it behind them. Obviously necessary to have a place for Laura and Valentin to confer, but still a strange way to end the conversation.

Nina: Who goes around asking people to "make peace"? Don't you just either avoid them or stick to non-controversial topics?

Michael is being such a turd toward her, and hates that Willow wants to see her, that I don't really blame Nina here. She just wants him to stop shooting her death-ray eyes every time Willow asks her over. She does try to talk to him about noncontroversial topics, but since Michael is a Carly, nothing is uncontroversial, simply because it's coming out of her mouth.

Ugh, he's such an infant.

It was good to see an acknowledgement of Lulu's existence today.  I wonder if it has meaning for the future.

Read speculation elsewhere that Maxie may end up with Carly's house.  If she does, I would love to see Lulu wake up and move in with her.  I would rather watch their friendship than strife with Valentin or Dante, both of whom have long since moved on.

The last time Kristina brought it up, there was a problem with the permits so presumably they're still working on modifying the building.

Nice to see Molly helping but Kristina should be hiring good managers, architects, renovators, people with experience running  shelters and social organizations, psychologists, social workers, rather than trying to train herself from the beginning.

The Coven suggested that to Kristina when she first told them about her idea for her center, and she accused them all of being buzzkills. Kristina still doesn't seem quite ready to acknowledge that she can't—and shouldn't—do everything.
