OK, so the divorce papers never got filed. 1) Wouldn’t they know that by now, since that would mean the final divorce papers never showed up? and 2) So what, they can just file again?

Yes because Sonny is a good mobster that doesn't want to be involved in drugs, and I don't think prostitution either ANYMORE. He just wants to use his docks for smuggling, I guess guns and stuff??

As I've said elsewhere, it is absolute poppycock that Sonny's organization does not push women, weapons or drugs. I remember the late '90s when I'm pretty Sonny and Jason explicitly provided protection to sex workers like Tammy. I'm sure the casinos have their own various trades. I don't buy it for a second. I think Sonny's organization does all this stuff, but through associates and shell companies so Sonny can turn his head and pretend it's not him.

Those few days without Carly, Willow and Michael were wonderful.  But now we're down in the dirt and gaslighting again. Michael's hypocrisy ('Nina was never going to compromise, it was just a fake') is still greater than the Empire State Building. Willow honey, look up narcissist in your nursing books and you'll see pictures of Carly and Michael, not Nina. I hate the gaslighting in this storyline so much.

Smoltz is right, Alexis owes him money for using an idea that he pitched to her. It's a practice that people get paid for ideas that they pitched that the paper or broadcaster uses. Here's an idea: Let Smoltz write a piece on Michael. All the dirt on the mob boss' stepson. I'm really tired of them beating up on Nina. It's gone on for more than six months now.

I wound up in jury duty here locally and the prosecutor was an ADA. You have answered many of my questions about what was going on there...since the defending attorney was a publicly appointed defender we had two very young inexperienced lawyers belaboring every point and the entire jury seating process alone took two days - it was gruesome. The judge was beyond exacerbated. (To be shallow - neither had done anything about dressing for court beyond a black suit of shapeless cut with a white or blue shirt. Diane would have sent them both home to try again if real life were GH :)

I got it to an extent. We were told that the article got picked up nationally and it wasn’t on Alexis’ radar before he came to her about the story. So it got the Invader and Alexis a lot of recognition over something that was originally his idea. However, it’s pretty obvious that his story would have been a completely different one, much more salacious and there’s no chance that Cam and Joss would have done interviews with him so who knows what interest his article about the same topic would have generated. She probably should have thrown him a bone and let him write a different story in exchange for the idea (is that was the Michael article was about because I don’t see the Invader publishing a hit piece on Nina).

When I worked on a TV  interview show, freelancers would submit topic and/or interview ideas. If the show used any, the freelancer would get paid a set amount (it was $100 per suggestion but that was a long time ago) even if one of the show's staff came up with the idea independently after it had been submitted.

Smoltz pitched the idea of a story on the sex tape. It was unprofessional of Alexis not to give him either pay for the idea or a credit on the article even though she presented it in a different way than Smoltz would have.

But then, maybe she didn't know, that's the problem with putting an amateur in the chair.

I hate the idea that Willow is Nina's daughter (how did Phyllis not know that there were 2 babies, the home must have done ultrasounds) but I could enjoy Smoltz digging up dirt on Nina only to have Willow, Michael's partner, smeared by it. It would also be interesting (but it won't) to see how Willow reacts to knowing that the person she treats as the devil incarnate, Nelle, is really her twin. In other words, the only good thing about this is to see Michael and Willow eat crow.

This Trina/plea deal/Spencer stuff gets more boring every day. "I see what this is costing everyone." It's not all over if you plead guilty and you have a criminal record, Trina.  I have no respect for people why martyr themselves to save others any pain as Trina is thinking of doing.

Aside from the fact that most everyone guessed Willow was Nina's daughter back when Michelle Stafford was Nina and Charlotte was in Willow's class bullying Aiden, Nina is bio-related to Wiley whether Willow or Nelle is his mother so what's the point?

Easy. if Willow and Nelle were twins, it easily could be that Willow was the smaller twin, and and thus during the ultraound etc, nelle "Shadowed" willow in utero. Nelle gets born, they don't expect another baby and then poof out comes willow. 

I saw that on teeveee a few times. (and read it in a book). I don't know how actual this is. but easily explained

That's probably what they are going to write. But realistically while it might be possible in the early stages of pregnancy,  it would be hard to miss that there are two different heartbeats given how much they would be monitoring a comatose Nina.

This is possible, especially when technology wasn’t as advanced.  Ultrasounds were so grainy and they were mostly going by heartbeat. I thought Phyllis was there for the birth though?  But that can be easily retconned.

However, I do like that Willow is Nelle's twin. because as I noted before my biggest fear was removing all the "Nelle" stuff but instead the show is doubling down on it so i'm for it.

Here is the pattern for this show. Something happens that advances the storyline for 2 or 3 days and then we get the same conversation repeated for about 2 weeks. So you can pretty much miss 2 weeks and catch up fast.

Shouldn’t those automatically be destroyed when a shrink dies or be held by an ethical shrink organization to determine what to do with them? That’s a major ethical breach and now the brother is blackmailing Harmony with the info. And he certainly did an ackward info dump on the hows and whys on Willow being Nina’s daughter

I am confused on this timeline. I thought the whole thing with Nelle was that she was Carly's adopted sister who went to live with their bad dad. But if Nelle and Willow are twins and supposedly the same age as Michael when did Carly and Virginia even know Nelle? And when did Harmony/Lorraine know Nina/ Madeline? Michael was born after Carly left Florida and before Lorraine went to New York. So why would Nelle even care about Carly? She was an adult by the time Nelle and Willow were born.

Or am I misinformed on Nelle's whole Carly 2.0 scheme?

At least we got movement on the Willow/Nina nonsense. And Neil's bro is not long for this world. If my spec is right that he is the cause of Liz's trauma, he's going to end up dead, Liz, Finn, Harmony and probably Alexis are going to be suspects. so i missed ALL of this.

but from what i gathered
Nina is pregnant with twins. 
Phyllis knows of Nelle (she who had the heart shaped necklace). and Madeline put that baby on the black market who got adopted by the Bensons and Nelle is basically carly 2.0 but unlike Carly (whom we're supposed to root for even with all her evil stuff) Nelle is evil and screw her. 

Madeline gives Harmony, Willow, and Harmony goes off to live on Compound Land.

How and Why Nelle was actually pissed at Carly I dunno why. (it was a weak re-tread of of Bobbie v Carly is all i can gather)

Nelle’s motivations never made a lot of sense. I got the impression that they initially planned to have her be Carly’s daughter (hence why she was Josslyn’s kidney donor) but changed their minds to pair her with Michael but still decided to do the feud with Carly and revenge plot they originally planned.

It has always been clearly stated that Phyllis was NOT there at the birth. She took care of Nina, but was not in the delivery room, and was given the baby afterwards.
