As one of the few Cody fans here, I have to give him big props today.  His scenes with Maxie were very believable. He's the only one so far who's pegged Drew from the start.  Talking about punching "that smarmy son of a bitch right in his smug little face" was classic. And "some sleaze who's hiding behind a nice haircut and fancy coats" was perfect.  And talking about James' gummy-worm breath was too funny.  I like Cody!

I really like Cody too.

Billy died last year, if that's who you're referencing.

No. Heath Freeman.

I'm shocked that Olivia didn't storm Sasha's room to remind her of the no sex policy. And I'm also expecting Sasha to turn up pregnant, for no other reason than to have Sonny and Robert share a grandkid.

Michael’s indignation at Willow and Drew kissing a second time while wearing a bathrobe after drunkenly screwing Sasha was hilarious! WTF guys? Get dressed!

The matching bathrobes! Does Sasha keep a spare at her place? Is Michael wearing Brando's bathrobe!?!

Why is GH so prudish the past few years, there is so little actual love in the afternoon

I know the Sasha/ Michael hook up was for shock value, but even the flashbacks were tepid. With the exception of Joss and Dex's constant post- trauma sex, there is nothing resembling love/ romance on this show.

I like Cody as well, at least I like the actor in most things I've seen him in, and he has a good dynamic with Mac and good sibling chem with Maxie (and maybe they can bring in his sister Serena at some point). Plus, he doesn't like Drew so that puts him in good company!

Drew is just so unlikeable, even when he was trying to "apologize" and explain how blackmail works to Willow he was coming off as a pompous jackass, "Willow I would have told you but I didn't have a chance and I had no choice! I was right!!". Ummm, yeah there was the choice of telling Ned and Tracy yes, then giving Willow a heads up (if he gave a crap about her feelings which I don't believe he does) and still having time to spare for takesies backsies. I mean they weren't exactly holding the vote for CEO right at that very minute were they Douchey McManSplain?

"No no no, I can wrap my head around one kiss, but two? No Willow made a choice."

Ah Michael. like you made a choice to stick your tongue down Willow's throat when she was married? How you took her clothes off and had sexy fun times in her bedroom when her husband was legit downstairs?  you can miss me with all this Michael.

The best part was how he was trying to figure out if Willow found out that he's been banging her mother all this time.

LOL, I legit thought they were at a hotel, what with the matching robes.

Also, Michael really saying with his full chest that he could forgive one KISS, but not two, as he stands there after doing a whole lot more than kissing, is very on brand for this asshole.

So did I, but seeing as there is one hotel in PC and the rooms all look the same, if they're at a hotel, I don't think it's the MC.

Yeah, I thought they were at the MetroCourt.

I personally hate when like this situation Drew and Willow say "the kiss didn't mean anything" THE KISS SHOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE. How does sharing a kiss or 2 with someone that's not your boyfriend/Girlfriend/Husband/Wife NOT mean anything? Yes it does!

I stand corrected about the hotel. It just wasn't the MC.

I understand disbelief and denial, I really do. But two doctors and a nurse aren't going to lie and tell you your daughter is dead if she isn't, Alexis.

I thought it was in character for Alexis, tbh. I guess there might be an Emmy nomination for NLG over this. Even Steve managed to shed tears. I thought the whole thing was well done, but I hated this for KeMo having to play dead while people are eulogizing Sam. At this rate, the funeral might be open casket just to torture her more. I did feel tears in the back of my eyes, though, especially when Alexis crawled into bed with Sam to keep her warm.

Those JaSam flashbacks. Kelly had such fantastic hair. And I can't believe that it's been 20 years. I was 22, guys.

Drew sure gets douchier by the scene. This guy has no bottom. "I'm not going to fire you." Who do you think you are, Drewfus, other than a horrible man?

I can't believe Michael and Willow are going to have sex after this. CD is decidedly not a soap hunk.

No it’s weird.  He forgave her and then they got freaky on the couch.  Second kiss didn’t come up.  Guess he’s going to play the long and cruel game.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. If he's playing some kind of a long con on her, then he should be kicked in the teeth. He slept with another woman and covered up a murder. He can take a seat and die there.

Since when can Drew fire anyone who works at the Q mansion? Even when he's trying to deescalate things, he's smug and smarmy. Cody should have asked for $6 million as hush money. I'm disappointed he took anything. Better to have Drew squirm every time he saw Cody.

I wish the writers had put a bit more thought into it and not fallen back on the old clichés. I'd rather have seen Alexis hear the news and, instead of yelling at the medical staff, immediately going to Sam's room. I could have done without her railing at God. I did think her crawling into bed with Sam and talking about her birth was well done.

Jason's tearful bedside talk left me cold. We get: "There are a lot of things I should have told you." Yeah, you should have. Will Jason learn from this? Of course not.

Very soapy how Danny and Dante found about Sam was dead. The show gets points for that.

It would be interesting if Alexis decided to sue Portia and GH for malpractice.

That made my skin crawl. And Michael's pointed repetition of "one kiss" was equally gross. He is no romantic lead, Show.

Well that was depressing.  (Aren't soaps supposed to be enteraining and fun?)

I thought that i was going to throw up as Michael forgave Willow for kissing Drew, straight back from banging Willow. (I hope he at least showered before sex with Willow in the living room.)  On a good show, there would be fallout for him but this is TFGH and he's Carly's spawn.

I couldn’t stomach the Alexis/Sam scenes so I stopped watching altogether. I also felt bad for Kelly having to lie there for so many scenes and not breathe much.

Apparently SB acted today. He was so bad yesterday I’m not wasting time looking for his scenes.

I’m disappointed that Michael slept with Willow. I was kinda hoping he would be more in Sasha’s orbit now. Millow is just so bland in a Stepford Wife way. And back to women making babies. 🤮

I’m assuming November will be about everyone mourning Sam and Lulu waking up to get them out of it. I’ll be on the barge for a while.

They were at a hotel because there was a room number on the door when they left. Maybe the bar has rooms above it for this purpose

It was Rocco!

I laughed out loud and then started crying because of the look on both their faces.  Good facial expressions from Dom and the kid who plays Rocco.

Almost none of NLG/Alexis’s reaction bothered me. Some cliches/stereotypes are like that because they do happen in real life - often. There’s almost no way she could have reacted that hasn’t been done a million times before. Alexis’s reaction felt in character - that her lawyer brain immediately took over because the mom part of her couldn’t/wouldn’t accept what they were telling her. So, she immediately argued against it. The denial didn’t last long. I was at work, and still started tearing up, when she climbed into bed with Sam. I felt bad for KeMo having to lay there and try not to react.

The only moment that slightly felt false was her arguing with God. It felt a little too “here’s my Emmy reel.” Thankfully, it didn’t last too long.

When he leaned over Sam’s bed before kissing her forehead, I really thought SBu wasn’t going to even manage one tear, but he finally got there at the even - he even managed more than one. I will echo an earlier comment that another moment that worked was his unwillingness to look at Sam’s body when he walked in.

That was pretty gross for Michael to go straight from sexing up Sasha to having sex with Willow. He didn’t even seem the slightest bit guilty. You can’t paper over your problems by saying it’s all good and falling into bed (or, in this case, the couch.)

I almost forgot that JaSam used to have some fun and energy about them. They've both been so very sleepy and solemn for years.

Hopefully KeMo doesn't have to stay still for visits from Dante, Danny, and her sisters too!

If Michael was just being vengeful to sex up Willow without really being willing to forgive her, then he has truly become his (fake) father's son, cuz Sonny was the king of vengeance sex.

And i think the paying off was to leave Willow alone, which is just stupid.

It's weird to have the kiss stuff come out at the same time as Sam dying. I was barely paying attention to Drew flailing around because I was so teary-eyed over all the Sam scenes. CM's acting style is jarring enough that it becomes all I can see when he's onscreen.

I'm so far behind but I've been stalking the thread so I know when KeMo's last day is. And from everything I've read on here, I can't say I actually want to watch any of it (I just finished the ep with Brad telling Lucas to get that mole checked, which was really the only thing that sounded remotely entertaining). But even without seeing today's ep I'm already crying over Sam's death. It's just so stupid, short-sighted, and deliberately petty to kill her off. I've been a fan of KeMo since her PC days, and I've liked Sam in her non-Jason storylines. Though it was painful watching her be so flat and lifeless during the JaSam years when SB sucked out her life force like the Black Hole of personality that he is, once she was finally freed from his orbit it made me remember all over again why I'd liked her for so long.

Best of luck to you, Kelly, and wishing you the very best as you move forward! ❤️

I’m with you Maelstrom, I will miss Kelly too. 😞 Also watched her since her PC days. She just sparkled with Michel Easton…so much pretty. Sigh.

Best of everything to you KM. I think this show done ya dirty. You deserve so much better & I think it’s out there waiting for you.. ❤️

I would hope not for KeMo’s sake but also too, I would have to imagine in real life after 2 days of goodbyes, by the time it got to Molly it would be like, “I’m really going to miss you Sam, but I have to leave now because this room is starting smell like a port-o-let on the last day of Burning Man”.

It seems really vindictive to do the character and actress this way. If it had become an untenable workplace situation then there were other ways to handle it. They could have just had Sam leave town or recast. I guess I can at least be thankful they didn’t give her the Alice Barrett treatment when JFP wanted to write her off AW. I think I still have trauma flashbacks about that episode for what they did to poor Frankie!

I only came back for JJ and Emma this time but I was very shocked with this KeMo.  I was trying to remember who was the first character on GH to come back from the dead.  Was it Stavros Cassadine?

Seems like there was no hinting to fire KM so the audience could protest to keep her on.  Like it was said they did it for Rebecca Hearst and they did it for Genie many times till it stuck.

There was quite a bit on Twitter. To push to keep Kelly was trending for a few days on my on my timeline.

That was an interesting reel of old scenes. What struck me most was that KeMo has changed all that much in the past 21 years. SBu on the other hand....  yeah, it's a double standard.

I figured that Cody asked for $100,000 for a down payment on the ranch that he wants.

We’ve known for a few months now that she was fired and they were killing off the character. Her fans did petition to keep her, they got 17,000 signatures and rented a billboard truck to park outside the studio. TPTB didn’t care and killed the character anyway.

The ranch is selling for $6 million. 100 grand isn’t going to even scratch the surface of a down payment.

The Alexis scenes were incredibly sad.  I remember when my sister died we sat with her in the hospital room for almost 2 hours and we had to really convince my mom to leave.  She just kept saying "how can I leave my baby?"  But, yeah, NLG has her Emmy reel locked and loaded.

SBu even did a pretty decent job.  And even though she didn't have a ton to do, BH really came off as both the compassionate nurse and also a friend.

So is this going to end up being someone tampered with Sam's IV or something/same person who messed with Lulu's respirator?

Cody shortchanged himself.  Ask for ten times that amount--see how scared/desperate asshole Drew is.

Michael's gross.

Willow's a doormat.

That's all.

Not ashamed to admit that I was a puddle of tears from the minute Alexis walked into Sam’s room until the last scene. Minus of course the Drew/Cody/Michael/Sasha/Willow stuff. Glad the Jasam fans got their flashback tribute but still feel really bad for Kelly. Sure other actors have been treated badly (GF for one) but have any of them had to just lie there while their character’s loved ones cried over their dead body? It just seemed cruel. I thought NLG was wonderful, even raging at God. What else would you have her do? It’s every parent’s worst nightmare to lose a child. Of course she’s angry and God is the only one ‘there’ to take it out on at the moment. I like that when she had Portia in her crosshairs, she didn’t let up and was likely on the verge of telling Portia that the hospital will be hearing from her attorney. I hope that’s still coming down the pike even if it doesn’t go anywhere.

I rolled my eyes at first when Jason went into the room, but he got better as the scene went on.

I’m pretty sure the goodbyes we get tomorrow will b the same day in GH time. There’s no way the hospital can keep the body in a room for more than a day before transferring to th morgue. And I imagine they’ll have to perform an autopsy to determine cause of death. I would’ve believed she threw a clot but not sure I’m buying the heart attack theory unless the clot caused it. If she had any underlying issues they should have been caught during pre-op testing. If they weren’t, that’s absolutely a malpractice suit.

I do wonder if Sam’s dive will come into play somehow because it can cause body changes.  My mom’s high school boyfriend was a diver and went diving before his first medical exam for the draft for Vietnam. He failed (for hearing)and realized later it was because he went diving the day before and subsequently failed all draft medical exams for Vietnam because he intentionally went diving the day before.

Pretty sure Phil Brewer was the first GH character to come back from the dead.

I'll watch tonight. But characters railing at God is one of my biggest pet peeves. Always comes off as writers getting delusions of grandeur.  McTavish was the worst at that. It's only worked once for me, on West Wing, so I guess the secret is to do it in Latin.
