Jason being willing to move into Chez Quartermaine is the most he's done for any one of his kids ever. Dante must be rubbing off on him.

Molly seem to be a zero sum game: either she's good with TJ or she's good with Kristina. Under this writing team, not both.

I am so bored by Ava's trial.

As bad as Drew is, this type of karma could not have happened to better people. Curtis and Michael both suck.

They all deserve each other. Karma is sweet.

Is it an overstep? Portia is doing a professional review of Elizabeth's team, actions of which could have led to a patient's death. If I were Elizabeth, I'd definitely have my union rep there to make sure Portia doesn't railroad me into something. We know she has no compunction blaming others.

Ordinarily a union rep would only come on the scene when someone was being accused, not when they were trying to figure out what went on. But good point, Portia is not above blaming an innocent person to get the situation out of her hair.

As weird as it is to say, Sam dying has been the best thing to happen to Jason in a long time.  I mean he’s been downright human lately.  I liked how he went to Dante to discuss Danny.  And although it’s never a good idea to get violent, it was really scummy of Drew to act like Jason just punched him out of nowhere and he might be violent with the kids.  He knows full well the reason and he’s just being a jerk.  Per usual.

Hey, Gio, just because the door is unlocked doesn't mean you can just walk in without permission. (Side note to Trina and Joss: Keep your front door locked all the time! Good lord.)

LOL that Gio thinks being like Curtis is "a huge compliment." You don't know him very well, that's for sure.

"You paid off the judge." "You would have been billed for that, so no." Hee.

Is Tracy really going to yell at children who just lost their mother over paint on the floor? They just love painting Tracy as this ogre, which really sucks.

It's so tiresome.

At least when he inevitably goes off to help Carly again, Danny will barely notice he's gone.

Of course Sasha has a pregnancy test in her purse. GAAAHHHH.

If she did hear, she likely assumes Cyrus is lying to the doctors to keep her trapped. Laura hasn't seen her since GH, has she? You would think she might want to see Lulu settled in. (It's a sad fact of life that visitors can make a difference in the level of care in many LTC facilities.)

I'm pretty sure we saw both Laura and Lucky at Turning Woods after the surgery and when Lulu was taken there. I think. We still couldn't see her face.

Forgot about Martin, he comes back and even has a scene with Mob Boss and then he disappears again. Wasn’t he even supposed to defend someone or do something for Sonny? I remember the scene but not the words. 😂

Yeah, Mooby brought him back to defend Alexis when she was charged with Jagger's murder. His hootin' and hollerin' about finding Mooby's gun stopped Mooby from confessing to the cops that he, in fact, had murdered Jagger.

Haven't seen Martin since.

So Jason is going back home after 30-something years. That should be entertaining. The Dante/Jason scenes were pretty good.

Yes, my first thought was "I really want to see Tracy's reaction!!!" 🤣

I'm sad there won't be any Monica-Jason scenes, given how much history SB and LC have working together.

My goodness! Is everyone in Port Charles moving into the Quartermaine place? It's kind of rude of them to just decide they'll move in without even asking anyone. I'd love it if Monica told them all that she wasn't running a hotel or apartment house.

I thought Danny was going to study in Spain. Did I get that wrong? What happened to that plan?

Sasha had to have the biggest box for a pregnancy test that I've ever seen! Aren't these things smaller? When do we hear that Willow is testing for pregnancy?

I enjoyed the scenes between Jason and Dante today.  Glad they decided to keep the kids together, though I laughed at the "teamwork" scene among them.  Anyone else would have had the mess cleaned up in the time they all spent staring at the floor.  Jason has been slowly humanizing over the past two days.  Wonder if he'll be able to keep it up.

It will be interesting if Ava is convicted for the one crime she didn't commit.

I realize the scenes with Sasha, Felicia and Mac were there to establish with them that she and Cody have not been intimate, so when the positive pregnancy test comes there will be more people who have to wonder which part of the story isn't true.  But the letter from Robert just irked me all over again that they dumped a new daughter into his lap and then banished him.

To my eye, Gio has much more chemistry with Trina than Kai, possibly because he has a personality.  Maybe Kai is just too new, so I'll give him time.  But I can already foresee Gio having deeper feelings for Trina, Trina feeling friendship for Gio, having a romance with Kai only to be disappointed, and then coming back to Gio.  It might actually be sweet, and the show could use a little sweetness right now.

But I can't forgive the show for presenting one of those scenes where the actors have to dance to music that you can tell they can't hear.

Happy for the kids but was hoping for a bigger story about them, since I am more interested in them than in the adults lately. Hope they don't just fade into the background again.

With his incessant and occasionally inappropriate grinning, touch of social awkwardness, and, um, let's say, not overly complex personality, Gio is reminding me of this guy....

I'm not. In the past Jason has given Monica crumbs that she's pathetically slobbered up. I have no doubt that if there were scenes with the two of them, it would be Monica in tears that Jason has deigned to put his kid first (at least for now) and move in to the Q mansion. No, thank you.

Nice Jason/Dante scenes today. Having them all in the same house should make for an interesting dynamic.

so I legit forgot that Sasha fucked Michael and couldn’t figure out why she had a pregnancy test when she and Cody never had sex lol! speaking of Michael, what a pathetic little weasel he is. ‘Drew is going to throw your sorry ass out of the ceo job if you don’t ally yourself with me. I want revenge and I’m not above using you to get it.’ I mean, he’s right about Drew, but he seems to forget he’s not some innocent victim in all of this. Then again, he is his father’s son so of course everyone else is wrong except him.

so Molly and Kristina are both going to lie through their teeth on the witness stand, and both be eviscerated by Ric? I feel bad for Molly, but I must be a terrible person since I’m rooting for Ric 🤣

I also liked the mature scenes between Jason and Dante. It keeps the kids together but they have their fathers with them.
Drew can suck rocks in DC.
Sasha had better not be pregnant. She’s had enough thrown at her.
Gio and Trina are cute together. That’s enough for me right now.
Ava’s court case is a mess.

Jason should not have custody of an adopted community tree let alone his kids, but finally moving into the Q mansion is wild. Edward is going to rise from the grave as an undead revenant to claim victory.

Here I was thinking Sasha’s morning sickness was going to be the main event of the Thanksgiving episode, but now we’ll also get to watch Jason quietly suffering through a Q family dinner.

That thing was hilariously huge (that's what she said!!)  Also, do people walk around with pregnancy tests in their purse?  The times I bought them, I took them straight home to use immediately.  I didn't head over to the local diner to have breakfast with my new aunt and uncle first.

I’m surprised they haven’t been hinting at Willow being pregnant too. I’m calling it now. At Thanksgiving dinner, Willow and Sasha each slip away to the same spare bath to take their pregnancy tests and Willow finds Sasha’s positive test and thinks it’s hers and agonizes through dinner over who the father is.

And up in the booth, Frank Valentini crosses out the next 12-13 months of airtime (per soap opera pregnancy) as no longer needed to fill with actual story. "That oughta hold the rubes!"

Will Jason get his original room back? Lol or kick Willow from gate house and let Jason have that? Or the girls from the garage, Joss mother had  mansion they can live in instead.

I remember the disgust Jason had for his family, him coming to live back there I don't know if I like for Alan/Edward or I hate because he had no right to move in now.

Dante is the parent those kids need.

You know this is the song they'd play if the show had the budget. It'll play as the camera lingers on Jason face as he accepts his fate of having to eat dinner with the Qs once in a while for the sake of his son.

I'm glad Jason/ Dante are being adults, but can't they move in to the refurbished brownstone or something?

We've got half the cast living at the Qs.

Also, if Drew is going to be in DC, someone has to have actual custody for Scout, don't they? Who's getting her to/ from school? Signing her permission slips etc?

( Not a parent, not a lawyer, but if she's living away from her father for half the year, doesn't someone have to be responsible for her)

I appreciated Curtis fact checking Michael that he's clearly out to screw Drew over so Curtis isn't immediately throwing in with Michaels plan. Michael is so used to everyone around him agreeing with him, and telling him he's right. I'm glad Curtis put a temporary stop to his scheming.

We joke about the Q mansion, but a couple of years ago the complaint was that the Qs were so depleted. I kind of like that more people are moving in. They're all either Quartermaines or adjacent anyway.

(Except for that "garage apartment" which is a weird situation, and for now Gio..,they're all too randomly connected, and should skedaddle)

Exactly!  I remember when it was pretty much just Ned and Monica living there.  Maybe Tracy off and on.  I didn't like that at all, this is a HUGE improvement.  I understand it also saves money on sets, and that's fine with me, because this works for me.

Sasha’s morning sickness

I get they want to get this story moving, but it's been what, 2 days since she and Michael had sex? It can take two weeks for an egg to be fertilized. How about the show waits at least that long? IMO, it would be soapier if Sasha didn't immediately suspect she was pregnant but instead realized after missing her period for a month or two that might be the case. And that (prays fervently) she's just late due to all the stress she's been under. She certainly doesn't need Michael's baby. And he doesn't need more children.

Tangentially, I wish people in Port Charles realized there are ways to prevent pregnancy and use those methods. Especially when they're in their 30s. FFS.

NGL, I would legit love this. Or better, it goes the other way: Sasha finds Willow's positive test and thinks it's hers. If someone has to be pregnant, I'd rather it be Willow and it's Drew's. Let's really punish her, Drew, and Michael.

I’ve been very hard on the old/new team of writers but I appreciate that they moved away from the Carly-Sonny-Jason triumverate focus and allowed the characters to interact with new people, even if some of them are terrible (Eva Larue’s bigot mother of no longer there daughter).

I liked the Dante/Jason convo and will appreciate seeing something different in the Q mansion dynamic.

I’m also now seeing what everyone was saying about Jason/Sasha. She’ll be pregnant and Michael will ask him to claim he’s the father, which will be much easier to do in the same house. Rumors are that the actress is pregnant IRL so I don’t see the storyline going very far, but we’ll see.

Or I could be completely out to lunch.

I was wondering that a while back. There were some scenes where SM was shot from the side and it suddenly occurred to me that they'd been blocking her so that you never saw her from that angle much.

Since Frank never met a RL pregnancy he couldn't use, this likely means Sasha will be pregnant. UGH. I wish he'd realize viewers understand actors aren't their character. We can accept an actor being pregnant when their character isn't, and vice versa!

Monica/LC should have one last episode/scene with Jason and her grandchildren (not just named Michael). I would like to see her talk about Alan with Jason's sons, Drew's daughter and her great granddaughter Amelia.

It’s probably a temporary situation while everyone mourns Sam, but it’s probably the best option for the kids right now since they want to stay together

I agree it will probably only last through the end of the year because once nuLulu is out of the LTC facility, she will want Rocco to live wherever she calls home, and I would be shocked if Rocco doesn't feel the same.  I wonder if the set that was most recently used as Finn and Violet's apartment will end up becoming either Lucky, Lulu and Rocco's home or Dante, Lulu and Rocco's home.

Michael is such an ass. He can never just go at someone one-on-one and face to face. He has to go behind their backs and enlist other people to do his dirty work. First he sends Jason after Drew, now he goes to undermine Drew's friendship with Curtis. I mean, I'm no big Drew fan, either, but in a choice between him and Michael?  No contest. Michael is always the worst.

The Jason/Dante scenes were good, and I was initially, as I watched, thinking that Jason was going to throw his support behind Dante getting both kids, so they can all be together, but what they're going with is probably what's truly best for the kids - they get to stay together, but they also are with their dads. Unlike Drew, Jason, at least, has been focused on what's best for his kid since the moment Sam died. Of course, Drew probably figures that sleeping with Willow was step one on the path to getting Scout a new mommy, so that was totally him being a good dad!

So, now, Jason, Drew*, and Dante are all on board with "Our 2 1/2 Dads" at the Q mansion. Is Alexis going to dust off her old Dobson disguise so she can go be with the kids? Or are we still going to get a custody battle?

*Or is Drew going to suddenly not be fine with Scout staying there once he realizes Jason is moving in, because he's going to insist on being a dick to Jason more than he focuses on his daughter's best interests?

I have the feeling Gio is going to be another Rory for Trina.

Does TJ even like Molly anymore?

I'm good with actual Quartermaine, but some are just ridiculous.

Joss and Trina living over the garage when Carly has her own mansion and garages. Lois divorced and left PC because of Quartermaine life, now parked herself in the house acting like she belongs there. Who lives with your ex husband? Ace was ridiculous.

I definitely agree about Lois.

By moving so many people into the Q mansion, they're trying to recreate the Brownstone effect.  But, while Brownstone scenes sometimes involved multiple individual apartment members coming together in Bobbie and Jake's living room, many more scenes took place within the individual apartments.  They were able to do that because they weren't skimping on sets, and because they knew how to tell stories. Right now the only separation of Q mansion families is a rotation of who is in the drawing room and who is in the kitchen/solarium.  (Which was only a solarium until it also became Sasha's kitchen, unless I'm remembering completely incorrectly).

There are two Quartermaine living/drawing rooms, still, but for decades I have had trouble telling them apart.

Call me cynical but I think the reason Chad is leaving has something to do with money.  He’s got a cushy job, it doesn’t seem like he has to work very hard (imo he seems to have been phoning it in for a long time), and the writers seem to love him.  Why would he jump without a soft place to land?

Maybe he was politely asked to leave to avoid a KM type firing?

Maybe they want to write Michael as the manipulative bastard he is instead of the supposed hero and he doesn't agree with that direction? Frankly, Michael being an Adam Chandler type character would be far more interesting than the wet noodle he's been.

Wish they would write Carly Jason and Sonny the way they should be written
