This. We got home from dinner about half an hour ago and the game was over! How does that happen, and what do we watch now??

OMG - Jon is leaving the show! I'm devastated!! Truly. Although, I do like Louis, so maybe as I get more familiar with him, I'll grow to love him. But really... I'm gonna miss Jon on my TV every night. I do look forward to seeing him live in concert at some point soon.

No thanks to anyone here (kidding...), I got tickets! And, it looks like the other 2 productions are now available as part of a 3 show subscription. So I need to decide whether to see A Soldier's Play or 1776. But I don't think I have to decide today.

Someone remind me to get tickets Friday morning when they go on sale. Please.

She did a bunch of theatre here in the DC area and hosted the local theatre awards, The Helen Hayes Awards, a few times. Wonderful person.

I may be particularly dumb lately, because in addition to the puzzling and annoying Expedia ads (lemons! bubble! what??), I have not idea what Miro is and what that whole "shoot the monster" thing is supposed to mean. I'm not sorry I don't know, but still, you'd think they'd want to be a little clearer about the product. At least I'd think so.

And now, bubbles. I really don't get this series of ads. This will not make me use Expedia. Ever.

Did anyone watch this? We just started the show and the opening is Gary Clark Jr. and Bruce singing Come Together. Now I wish I'd gotten tickets! Who cares about the rest of the show! 😄 ETA: The show on the whole was excellent. Everyone was funny, but mostly we learned what a great guy Jon is. Which I guess I sorta knew, but now I know that everyone who works with him loves him. One of the better KC TV productions, too, so that was good. And the music... fabulous.

I worked in banking for a lot of years way back in my misspent youth. I always worked the day after Thanksgiving (since the banks aren't allowed to be closed more than 3 days in a row). I've worked in my current job for almost 30 years and still wake up (late!) on that Friday and roll over thinking "yay - I don't have to go to work!!" At the current job, we get most of the Federal holidays, but not Columbus Day or Veterans Day. But we do get the day after Thanksgiving! - Did I mention that already? 😄 And yes, we now get Juneteenth off. I should mention that while I worked full time jobs, I also worked in theatre, so I never really got days off, but it didn't matter because that was my "fun" job.
