Jon was in town this past weekend at a music festival put on by Pharrell. I did not go, although I really thought about it - a lot. You could only buy a pass for all 3 days for $400 and while there were a few acts I would have been happy to see, not enough of them for $400. And then, it turned out the festival was quite disorganized - a bunch of folks took sick due to crowding and emergency response was slow. And other things that happen when thousand of people are squished together with no thought to what can happen. Someday, I will see Jon in concert. This weekend was not the time.

Well, that show was underwhelming. Thanks for the company, everyone. Definitely made it more enjoyable!

Did anyone notice they played Joaquina off after her very serious and passionate speech with Put on a Happy Face? I know it was probably scheduled, but can anyone make a better decision on the fly??

Have most of the winners actually deserved the wins? Not tonight.

I feel about Spring Awakening the way I feel about Dear Evan Hansen. Those were not shows written for me and I didn't like either one of them. But I suppose I can see how they would affect others.

If someone gave me tickets, I definitely wouldn't refuse them. But I'm not going out to buy any.

I loved Girl From the North Country. I know there's no hope that it will extend into August so I can see it again, but a girl can dream.

I thought this was really well done. I was especially impressed with the causes that Julia endorsed and how she could look at a situation, assess it rationally, and change her point of view when it became obvious that her point of view needed changing. The cooking was pretty good, too.

I can't really argue with much of that list. Although I don't think Angels stadium should be that low - I'd definitely put it ahead of Cincinnati and a few others. I haven't been to the new parks in San Diego or St Louis and I won't be going to Atlanta (unless I get in for free). I'd like to go back to Kansas City since, even though it' the same building, it's allegedly been totally renovated inside since 1998. I do love PNC Park.
