Curious if Savanah is in the Bridal party this time. I don't see any. Michelle has many friends outside the family, unlike most of the Brown clan. Having 0 Browns in the bride tribe is probably the fairest way to go so none of them feel slighted or obligated. I was very happy when my SIL did not ask or expect us to be in her bridal party, especially since we all lived far away and barely knew her. I don't think all of those girls are in the bridal party, this is just the bachelorette festivities. Michelle has a lot of friends - good for her (unlike Meri's many pretend friends....and Blair Michael). 1 1 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9304-the-brown-kids/page/34/#findComment-7651735
DeeReynolds September 16, 2022 Share September 16, 2022 In that bachelorette "bride tribe" photo, I spy Aspen and Mykelti top left. And isn't that another Brown 4th from the left on the top row? Bachelorette parties these days (at least in my experience) are comprised of both the actual bridal party plus friends and/or relatives. 2 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9304-the-brown-kids/page/34/#findComment-7652466

Scarlett45 September 22, 2022 Share September 22, 2022 Quoting @LilyD and @Mahamid Frauded Me from the Robyn thread. I think the relationships between Robyn’s kids and the rest of the Brown kids have been formed by several factors: probably proximity- they were raised more like step siblings that never lived together than a cohesive family (the way the Brown kids were, given Christine was caregiver for all the kids and they lived in the same house in Lehi), Robyn wanting her kids to be stand-offish, individual personalities and characteristics (Dayton being on the ASD spectrum is an example of this) and the sheer number of people. Humans only have so much emotional energy- with that many siblings you’re only going to have social time and intimate emotional connection with a certain amount of them. I think Leon has a fairly strong relationship with their close in age siblings (The first set of kids, Logan-Hunter) and wishes Logan/Michelle only the best for their upcoming wedding but has been living away from the “family hub” for a while and doing their thing with Audrey. They may get their emotional needs met from Audrey, their Mom, friends etc and not specifically from their siblings although they are “cool with” their peer group of siblings. 3 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9304-the-brown-kids/page/34/#findComment-7663165
laurakaye September 22, 2022 Share September 22, 2022 I agree that Robyn's kids were more like step-siblings to the original Brownies...I also think that Robyn did a masterful job of pretending that she wanted her kids to blend in with the Big Three's kids while simultaneously working on keeping them separate and "special" so that Kody would automatically want/need to spend more time with them than anyone else in his family. All part of her diabolical master plan...the funny part is, she won the game, but look at the prize. 10 4 1 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9304-the-brown-kids/page/34/#findComment-7663361
Popular Post deirdra September 22, 2022 Popular Post Share September 22, 2022 (edited) I agree Laurakaye, and I've also wondered if Robyn cultivated their specialness to insist on more of Kootie's time. At one point she said Day'un was diagnosed with Aspergers by someone, not an MD or specialist since the term Aspergers was no longer used by that time. As someone who is on the spectrum myself, he appears to also be high-functioning, introverted, shy and prefers his own company, not wanting to participate in some of the family events (and considering his family, who can blame him?). Yet Robyn had to get a mansion with two masters since she expects Day'un to live with her forever, even though he drives & spent 4 days alone on a road trip to see the Grand Canyon and is in college. Then there is Aurora the anxious; instead of getting her help to overcome anxiety and develop coping mechanisms, Robyn & Kootie coddle her like a baby. Breanna being the middle kid seems to get ignored or expected to do everything as part of Aurorabreanna. Aurora may indulge Robyn's fear of everything to stand out. King Sol was the most favoured son, but he's aging out of cuteness and that scene in the drainage ditch suggested that Kootie thinks he needs more training to be a boy's boy. But when you prefer to pay a sitter $20 so you can earn $200 doing God knows what, it is not surprising why he hasn't had a strong father figure in his life with Dad hiding in the closet, garage or off on solo drives. And he had a lung infection once when he was a baby so must be coddled forever. Areolabella has also been coddled, still wearing diapers at 4, sleeping in the marital bed at 5 and keeping the whole house up half the night. The sleep training should have started when she was an infant; you'd think people with 4-17 other kids would know that. As the baby of the family, Robyn seems to want to keep her as a baby. Not a healthy environment for ANY of her kids! Edited September 22, 2022 by deirdra 5 2 13 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/9304-the-brown-kids/page/34/#findComment-7663686

If Kody did get that 50%, Truely would be forced to come to Flagstaff and end up stuck in the house hanging out with Sol and Ari and the nanny...it's not like Kody would take her out anywhere, just the two of them, to spend time together - I can't see Robyn allowing that.
