I'm watching the rerun of last year's reunion right now and. Good Lord, I had forgotten just how fucking sick and tired I was of this woman and her Journey. And if I felt that way, can you imagine how exhausting she must have been to be around in real life?

I don't want to knock Gigi and Bella, or Anwar, so I hope no one is offended when I say I just don't find them all that interesting. As extensions of Yolanda's quackery, sure, there is a little interest, but over all? Meh.  Yo and Mo had three beautiful kids, that's about all I got.

I don't often comment on them because they were barely a part of the show and they are so young that I would feel like a creepster following them on social media (I just turned 41 so if they ain't a relative or a close family friend, I am not at all interested in the Instagram feed of someone 19-22 years old). 

But seeing all of these photos of the girls in their various lingerie shows, does have me wondering if there will be some resentment on their part towards their mother once they age out of modeling.

Yolanda pushed modelling above all else, and yes they seem to be doing well. But, I have to wonder if they won't start to feel exploited later on. I mean I guess Gigi and Bella are working towards building a brand for themselves, and hopefully they will have some truly trustworthy people and not just users and enablers around them to help them control and build that brand. But a large part of me feels like Yolanda set them up to have the type of life that she has had. 

Yolanda has basically been the trophy wife that wealthy older men could have literally picked out of a catalog (or in David's case from a picture at his friend's house) to be arm candy and treat him like a king. And while it has made Yolanda quite wealthy between divorce settlements, child support, and real estate, I would think she would want more for her own daughters. And while I know that college isn't for everyone and modelling is a strike while the iron is hot sort of thing, I wonder if the kids, Bella especially, won't have some resentment later on. I say Bella specifically because she seemed to have taken modelling by default (mommie says lyme means I can't be an equestrian anymore, so I may as well have the surgery and become a model like Gigi).

I think Yo instilled this goal on all her children all their lives.  It's the life 'she' wanted.  Will they be happy down the road?  Will they resent it?  Time will tell.  I think if anyone will have resentments,  it will be Anwar.  It seemed that Mo wanted Anwar to follow in his footsteps but Yo won out. 

It's 'amazing' that Yo can now travel all over the place now.  No more white robes.  She has a purpose now:  Posing for pictures with her successful children.  I guess she found the 'cure'.

If there is one thing Yo is teaching her children, it is how to focus on themselves, and the hell with the rest of the world.  Yo has lied on international television, taken advantage of millions of people with her"Lie-m Disease," roped David into falling for it (and her).  You name it.  Yet, does she care?  She changes her name and returns to modeling, this time pushing her children as well as herself.  Her heart is as black and as hard as they come!  I predict that Gigi and Bella will learn Yo's lessons well.  Those kids aren't lucky, IMHO -- they're damned for as long as Yo influences their lives.

I was not questioning Gigi's success. I questioned Yolanda pushing all of her children into modeling and I wondered if Bella specifically would have some resentment when it is all said and done.

If this is true, not that I don't believe you, then Erin's comment/tweet was not about her former step-sister but about this plane load of young beautiful women being LC/PP next pickings.

ETA, Sadly, I think Yolanda would be Ok about it if either Bella or Gigi ended up being arm/bedroom candy for LC to advance their careers, as long as he treated them with "respect".

The step kids all got a long before, during and after the F/H marriage and I don't think anything has change. DFoster has even showed up to fashion shows Gigi/Bella have been in since the divorce and the Hadid kids have never bad mouthed him, so I don't see any reason for Erin to bad mouth Bella or to take a shot at her. The Foster daughters have taken pot shots at "Hollywood" though.

First, when I blew the photo up, I could not pick out either Bella or Gig! LOL Do we know for a fact that either one of them is actually in the photo? Otherwise, the comment may have been nothing more than a comment about VS models getting with LD/PP, which seems to be something that is common knowledge in the industry(?). Again, as far as I know, nothing has happened between the ex step sisters to make me believe this comment Erin made was pointed directly at Bella or Gigi.

Victoria's Secret isn't an elite show, but it pays a lot. Seventy five percent of the highest paid models in the world have modeled for Victoria's Secret. The show is also really good for visibility and negotiating other contracts. If you're a model maybe vying to be the face of some designer brand, having modeled in the Victoria's Secret show might demonstrate that you are recognizable and have enough visibility to be the face of the designer brand.

Additionally, Victoria's Secret isn't shy about letting it slip that they've rejected all sorts of big time models. Gigi was rejected by Victoria's Secret 2 years ago.

Balmain is another one of those french houses. The original designer was friends with Dior. Oscar de la Renta became the head dedigner 20 years ago. About a decade ago, Balmain became really popular with celebrities and fashion editors. Yo is sitting next to their current head designer.

Keep in mind that Erin and her sister, Sara, have a show called 'Barely Famous' in which they make fun of themselves and mock the Hollywood elites and stereotypes.  I don't think Erin was throwing 'shade' at either Gigi or Bella.  This is what they do.  I've only seen snippits of the show and it has some funny moments as well as scenes with well known Hollywood people (Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson, Courtney Cox, etc.).  They poke fun at everyone and are willing to be the brunt of a joke.

From what I've read, they have a pretty good relationship with the Hadid children.  Yo, not so much with the Lyme journey.

I'm terrible because I'm thinking Gigi is totally her mother's daughter. I'm curious how the diagnosis was reached because as I understand it thyroid issues usually are problematic in verifying with blood tests and most people who have hypothyroidism do not appear or act like Gigi (super thin, great hair & skin, very active with work and travel). 

I thought Foster's VS pic caption was very funny. I'm not sure if it was her or her sister I saw in the RH flashback that aired last week. David joked at his star /walk of fame thing about the number of times he'd been married, then said he found his REAL true love (I guess the others were bootlegs?) and gestured towards Yo and mentioned his "new family". His daughter looked like she swallowed a bug. I don't think he abandoned his children, I just think he and Yo are so damn phony they don't know how to express themselves well.

I, like GiGi, have Hashimoto's. Luckily, my thyroid tumor was benign, but I still have to get monthly blood tests and ultrasounds to monitor my tumor's growth. And everyone with this disease experiences different symptoms. (As with most diseases.) I've lost a lot of weight- and I didn't have much to lose to begin with. It sucks for a multitude of reasons- the most being the energy loss and gastrointestinal problems that make you not hungry/not want to eat.

Everyone has the right to their own opinion, but this ever- increasing rhetoric that thin women aren't "real" women and "look like little boys" and "aren't remotely attractive" is just as harmful as saying "fat women aren't remotely attractive". Each side of the aisle can say what they want, but this "real woman" is tired of hearing what "real men" want naked women to look like.
