I think if they wanted to bring back Adam as a bad boy evil character, they should have had him come back with everyone happy he is alive, right where we left off with him.  Billy having grudgingly forgiven him, Nick and he having bonded.  And then we find out down the road that he has gone to the dark side and they slowly realize it.  This way it is too obvious.  Or are they trying to make Adam sympathetic by having everyone attack him?

I agree with you!  However, I would rather have seen Adam come back with a vengeance, not with amnesia, and really stick it to all the Newmans.  They constantly portray Adam as never being good enough, always wanting Victor's approval and always having to grovel for acceptance by Victoria and Nick.  They always act like he "wants something"......they treat Abby pretty poorly, too, but not like she's some person wanting a handout the way they do Adam.  Victoria and Nick act like he's some alien, when he's the son of their father!  He's way smarter than the two of them, has a better education - I don't even know that Nick went to college and Victoria went to some art school.  Meanwhile, Adam went to Harvard.   It really grinds me. 

That's not to say that I think Adam is an angel and that he hasn't done bad things.  But would he have done those things, reacted the way he did, had he not been treated like such a major outsider by his own family?

It's obvious as to who shot Adam.... it was Faith.  She saw Adam being shown the tacky house and said. "You gotta be fucking kidding me! Fuck this shit.",  ran to the main house, grabbed a gun from the secret room and paid a visit to her "Unkie" Adam.

Adam gets his memory back, if indeed he ever lost it.  Sharon brings him his phone and he calls someone and tells them he was shot, he knows who did it, but he wants the investigation to be over.  He tells this person to find him a fall guy for the shooting.

Yes, I've been wondering whether his amnesia was genuine.

Based on SOC's recap for U.S. viewers for Tuesday, Adam asks Sharon whether she retrieved his phone from the tackhouse. She hands it over to him and is worried he will now leave town. After she leaves him at the hospital, he texts (I think that's right) Chelsea and mentions something about an "investigation", and says he needs to find a "fall guy". I'm inferring that the investigation must be about him for why else would he need a fall guy, and for what?

If I had known for sure that Chloe had shot Adam or Billy had done the deed I would have used "him" or "her" but since I don't I figured it could go either way. 🤔

I takes getting used to but and can be occasionally confusing if people aren’t sure if you mean multiples or gender neutrality. But it is helpful online and in some professional situations and in the examples I posted make sense. In certain languages the formal or professional pronouns are gender neutral and also mean many like “du vs sie”. 

Back to the show damn it was boring today. In the first 30 seconds I knew Rey would move in w Sharon and Lola and Kyle would move in the Crimson Lights apartment. Btw that apartment is a shoe box so I’m not sure why Lola was raving about the kitchen 😂

So apparently Billy's apology to Adam in court was a lapse in judgement, according to him.  He wants Adam dead or gone. For him, seeing Adam is an affront to Delia's memory.  Hmm.  So what happens when you look in the mirror, Billy?

I am already done with the way that they are pretending Adam was the evil when he last was alive and in their lives.  They are so frightened by what he will do and how he will destroy their lives.  Show makes me now want Adam to destroy their lives. 😁

Is Pricktor ill?  He says there is little time left, and Dr. Nate agrees, when they discuss releasing Adam from the hospital ASAP.  Nah, Prick being ill would make me happy, so that won't happen.

I don't want to A. go too far off topic and B. be a pedant, but I also would like this "they"/"them" talk to stop before it becomes something sinister.

The singular "they" has been around for ages. According to this article from Merriam-Webster (yes, I'm bringing out the dictionary -- see? pedant), it's been in use since the 1300s for just this purpose. 

The more current use of "they" for non-binary people is valid and acceptable.

It is never okay to call a person "it".

Again, I don't want to break the rules here (off-topic, board on board). I apologize for doing so. I hope that the mods (and other posters) understand why I felt the need to do this, however.

Jack does indeed know Adam is the hospital and goes to visit him. They both seem happy to see one another. I haven't watched the rest of episode since I wanted to spend some time with Steve so it's saved on my DVR. I thankfully had not witnessed the kiss between Cane and Tracey. Thank goodness because I was eating at the time and would have destroyed my late grandmother's couch.
