I finally finished watching this week's ep last night. I have never been so painfully embarrassed and outraged, at least in recent recollection for anybody as I am for Tasha. I'm talking flames, flames from the sides of my face, breathing, breathless...

Her POS "father" kicked her out over the phone. Over the GD phone with that shrill harpy bullying her because the son we never see her interact with is supposedly her priority. I don't even want to say her name. That thing is her own number one priority.

I felt so horrendous for Tasha last night I just wanted to hug her. That was a sickening display by that twat of a woman and degenerate of sperm donor.

Wow.  I kinda envy your wedding traditions.  I'm in NJ, and weddings are over the top.  I don't think I've been to any that are modest.  As someone mentioned, showers are at restaurants, sometimes with open bars, and cost a lot of $$ that bridesmaids pay for.  And it is common for bachelorettte parties to be in Mexico or Vegas.  I honestly don't understand how so many people expect their friends to fork over such large amounts of money.  And at the showers/weddings I've been to, the bridal party gives a gift in addition to paying for everything I just mentioned plus their dress, shoes, hair, and make-up.  I once declined an invitation to be in a bridal party because it is just too much.

I’m the original poster and I’m in NJ, too (what exit? Ha ha) so I was basing my comments on local experience. It’s reassuring to hear there are still parts of the country where weddings haven’t gotten so out of hand and being in one can be so outrageously expensive.

I am so confused about this passport/visa thing with Richie. Can someone break it down or tell me where I'm getting lost...

Richie is born in Russia so is a Russian citizen and will get a Russian passport.

Putting aside the K1 because I'm confused enough, let's pretend that they have that. Now they want to take him to the U.S. to live so they use the Russian passport to get out of Russia. What do they do when they reach the U.S. with him? Do they have to tell Russia they are moving and not simply traveling and returning? What do they do once they are in the U.S.? Will they automatically get a U.S. passport for Richie because his father is an American citizen?

I'm asking because I think I read a post here that said if Olga comes here and it does not work out, she will have a hard time taking Richie out of the country and I'm wondering why that is if he is a dual citizen with appropriate passports for each country? Also, I think I read something about Richie getting a visa and that threw me off too.

Russia is CIS and things are done very differently there.

You need visa to enter and licenses to move around from city to city. Russian Police always detains you on the streets to check your ‘documents.’ So, this may be happening to Steven and we are not seeing it if the Police makes him delete footage, etc. The darn country is so corrupted they literally sell these ‘licenses’ or you might get the run around to come back  tomorrow.  This means that you get stuck at your hotel or risk getting fine on the streets by the police.....possibly taken to jail...extorted. It is awful.

The thing is that if Richie is granted a US passport (which is the same as US citizenship) at the Moscow Embassy (or, Consulate) then he is free to enter USA just like us.

Now, for Olga who has Russian passport (Russian citizenship) she will need visas (in this case k1), lots of money, background checks, wait lots of time to come back to USA.  Then she has to marry Steven! The typical 90 Day Fiance story.  Lol  Then she has to get green card and follow all those rules like no employment, etc.

Richie needs no paperwork or visas to enter USA with his American passport. No green card. No nothing. It is easier and cheaper for him to get USA passport in Russia.

If Olga is here with Richie as an American citizenship it doesn’t matter.  She will not get deported without him. Either they both stay or both go. (I am pretty sure).

I don’t have kids so I don’t how it is to travel with one parent only internationally.  The paperwork with Richie might be parental consent forms.

Even if Richie has American passport (doesn’t get Russian passport) his passport will have Russia as birthplace.  Olga is Russian and mother. So, he won’t have problems getting in. He is tied to Russia forever!

Adding. No, you don’t need Russian passport to get out of Russia.  You just need ANY passport.  Kenya, will do! Yes, you just tell them you are moving here because your ticket is one-way.  This gets scrutinize if you are not flying back home.  But, the visa will tell Officers at the airport your state of business in said country. Like K1.  Then they know Olga is green card bride.

It's so sad that Eric has done this to his daughters (Tasha's situation and all the discussions about paying child support-why is he even entertaining those conversations?), but it's made even worse because it's on film and the internet forever.  Both he and Leida are scumbags.

I'm too mad at Bride of ISIS and GI Garbage to write a full recap or their sordid vortex of evil, they make my blood boil and steam come out of my ears like a pressure cooker.

I'm just going to list the insults I jotted down while watching the show.

  • Eric has a huge horizontal crack on his forehead. You can see it from space. If you step on his foot, Eric's top pops open and you can toss your trash in him. He's a proper garbage person.
  • Leida's eyebrows remind me of 80's porno pubic hair landing strips. When she's upset and squishes them together, a second anus forms in between them. Once you've noticed it, you'll never unsee it. When she relaxes her forehead sphincter you can get a glimpse of the fecal matter that makes up her personality. There's a job waiting for her in Annie's ping pong bar.
  • Eric is very principled about paying child support since he's probably in significant arrears and probably doesn't want his license suspended, and living in your car without a license might have been a big problem for him in the past. I almost want this to happen so that he and Miss Bitter Second and Third Fiddle Indonesia make an old Hyundai their permanent residence.
  • It's becoming clear that Eric is attracted to Leida because she's ISIS Personified, with the difference that the IEDs are sentient and stalk your family members to blow them up instead of you having to drive over them.
  • Tasha, your "father" has exactly what he longs for and deserves. When you declared that you are done with his "psychotic new wife," you were in good company. The whole world is done with her.
  • I do love how Leida gets obsessed with winning battles over the chunks of rubbish that make up Eric's life, and loses sight of the big picture. Much like Wile E. Coyote when he forgets that he wants to catch the Road Runner to eat it, and starts to plot to blow it to smithereens.
  • When a rage-filled, ballistic Leida gloated to Tasha "I'm the boss, now!" I reminded myself of the kingdom over which she rules: a box spring, fake swords, and a rat-chewed recliner.
  • Eric's answer for how he'll eventually make up for all his abject failures: "It. Takes. Time." As in, right after he sobers up, which he never will, especially with Wile E. Coyote as his wife.
  • We finally know what their plan is. "It Takes Time" Eric will help her become a doctor and they will become very rich, then she'll support him and buy all these luxuries she longs for by herself. Out of gratitude for Eric getting her started, he'll enjoy her undying gratitude and generosity, and she'll never leave him. Nothing will go wrong with this plan.
  • The first thing that will go wrong with this plan is that she'll never become a doctor, and will blame Eric for it. How am I so certain of this? No person with this much naked, uninhibited cruelty becomes a doctor because they'd be kicked out the residency program (if she makes it that far).
  • She's literally a human cuckoo, kicking out the parent bird chicks' and exhausting them with her insatiable hunger, to the point of becoming double their size. Yet she intends to marry a man who admitted that he picks and chooses which bills to pay every month, because he can't pay them all. This will go well.
  • "I'm going to let him pay his child support" the she-devil magnanimously decreed, after demanding that Eric give up his parental rights.
  • Her family was worried about her marrying a man with "baggage" as if her own previous failed marriage, child, etc. isn't baggage.
  • If this cruel, diabolical harpy and depraved washed up drunk don't stay together forever in glorious misery, there is no justice.
  • If I could have written a blessing for their wedding reception, it would be: "May the newlyweds spend every penny on vanity photo shoots for the beautiful bride until both starve to death."

Hot dogs and hamburger patties that were pink because it's the cheap kind that's full of fat?

Were they grilling meatballs too lol?

Whenever Leida was screaming at Tasha and telling her to GET OUT NOW, I wanted Judge Judy to pop up and straighten Leida out.  "You have NO standing.  You are not on the lease.  You are NOT Tasha's stepmother.  Even if you WERE, it's not up to you to tell her that she needs to get out.  If her father wants her to leave, HE needs to tell her that.  You say NOTHING."  And then she would turn to Eric and say, "If you let her treat your children like this and still marry her, you are a LOSER" (complete with "L" sign in front of her forehead).  She is a "squattah."

Yeah, I heard JJ in the back of my mind, telling Leida off with fury.

Unless Friendly is his last name.

I think Colt and Mommy Deb are extreme cheapskates. And that's fine, but they need to find a like-minded person to bring in to their family. I think Colt full-on lied to Larissa about finances and never let on what his real thoughts were about money. Now he uses Mommy to enforce his budget rules at stores. Anyone living in Vegas without air conditioning in their car needs to fess up to anyone coming to live with them that that is the deal. I was in Vegas once in August and I thought my skin would melt off after being outside for 3 minutes.

While I do know two people who found very nice wedding dresses for under $800, $2k is not crazy for a wedding dress. And its a discussion that Larissa and Colt should be having, without Mommy the Enforcer.

I think Colt is the cheapskate and is lying now about his finances.   He can afford a new car, apartment of his own, the dress, and the green card.   I’d say he lied to Larissa, like most of these American men, to get her here.  And he knows, now that she’s here, she really has no choice to stay.  I’d bet that he will find an excuse to slow roll that green card to keep her under his thumb.

Debbie is the enforcer and seems to really enjoy keeping Larissa in her place.

$1,000 a month appeared a lot to me, until you mentioned child support is based upon a set percentage of wages (gross wages, I assume). With regards to Eric, I have a feeling he lives frugally because he knows he needs to have a nest egg saved for when he retires. If he is making that much take home pay, he needs to bank almost every penny and tune Leida out!! And hopefully, he's not counting on Leida getting her education and becoming a doctor thus making $$$. We all know if she gets her degree, and subsequently a job, she will be kicking Eric to the curb. (An aside),  I had a friend who received $1600 a month child support from her ex (2 kids), and she'd complain that they couldn't live off that... When I asked her why she couldn't live off $3200 a month, she was confused. I pointed out that since she and her ex made comparable salaries, she needed to consider the $$ SHE should be contributing to the child support kitty. People forget that paying child support does not automatically assign the full cost of living (for the children) to the father.

This happened years and years ago:  I new a girl who got pregnant by a cop/boyfriend and they conspired to say that she had no idea who the father was so she could get services.  It did not go well.

I know of tons of women who have no idea who their kids' fathers are or are pretending not to know. Yes, the men are complicit in some cases.

Of course, Jonathan appears to make a great income, and his family seems very well off. Coltee seems pretty broke to me. Especially if he needs his mother to help pay bills (who is clearly on some type of fixed income). The fact they bought a car without air conditioning (was it like $200 cheaper?) is a sign how bad their finances are.

IDK, both Colt and Jonathan both appear to have grown up middle class and are still middle class. Just Ceci is younger and prettier than Debbie, and likely still working so she doesn't have that bag lady look.

Not only that, there can be huge expenses that go along with the dubious honor of being a bridesmaid apart from buying the fugly dress. (In Ashley's case THREE dresses, plus she kicked Natalie out after she had purchased her dress.) The attendants are expected to foot the bill for a shower which have become full blown restaurant shindigs and there can also be travel expenses for the bachelorette party and possibly flights to a destination wedding locale. AND after all that, they're expected to give the bride shower and wedding gifts!

Yes!!! I was already in Ohio and my bff was back in NYC and I was basically told i'd need to cough up $3000 to participate in the spectacle. (And his was 14 yrs ago.) Their wedding was costing  them about $30,000...but each one of them made only about $30,000 at the time! So they each spent a year's salary on the one-day event (financed over the course of 2.5 yrs). Mother of the bride was unemployed at the time. Sister of the bride was receiving public assistance. I had just gotten married myself (eloped cheaply) and had a baby so I resented the whole thing and could not force myself to go thru with it. Just on general principle. So a few weeks into the planning, I bowed out.

And the only other time I agreed to be in a wedding, I got stuck with a $200 dress and $50 sandals after the wedding was postponed indefinitely.

Blechhh never again. Ridiculous!

I stood up in 2 weddings and the dresses were very reasonable, like $45.

Bold - I think that is a southern thing.  Up here in Michigan the girl's family throws the shower, I have never been to a bachelorette party and being in the wedding is the gift.  In our family a co-bachelor/bachelorette party is the thing to do.  You rent gambling tables from the Catholic church and have a potlock.  The couple is the house.  You can even bring your kids as the grandmothers usually stay inside and stay with the kids.

Well, Ashley and Jay are in Pennsylvania so no, not a Southern thing. And hers looked relatively inexpensive...

Ashley calling off her wedding didn't seem organic to me. The way she was packing her suitcase was like "ok. Here's the part where I pack my suitcase on this show-once again!😀😀😀" Where is a bartender who needs to foot the bill for both her and her fiance to go to Vegas getting the $ for it?!

Right, they prbly cooked up all the online racism BS as a ruse bc she can't afford the wedding she wanted. If she even has parents who ~were~ willing to help foot the bill, she likely burned those bridges  when they got left holding the bag on the two previously cancelled weddings.

I agree with other posters that Ashley's calling off the barn wedding and eloping to Vegas instead is all fake. Supposedly they have 5 days to get married! What have they been doing the past 85? This is the scenario my skeptical mind has concocted...There was never a barn wedding in the works. Those bridesmaids shown in the bridal salon were modeling the dresses they had bought for the cancelled wedding a couple of years ago. They were WAY too understanding and supportive when Ashley said she was calling off the wedding, not at all like people would normally react when they had bought two or three dresses for a non-event. Ashley has been harping on the interracial difficulties the entire season but I think the excuse of the threats on the wedding website was all made up to create drama. I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't gotten married already at the town hall to beat the 90 day deadline and the trip to Vegas and the Elvis chapel wedding is going to be a re-enactment on TLC's dime. They even have a film crew there already for Larissa and Colt.

Hi. First time poster. Like so many of you I find the snark over here so much more entertaining than the actual show. Some of you are real professionals! Look forward to it every week.

I don’t get Larissa. Why can’t she just behave herself? Just for 90 days? Stop complaining about everything: the plane ticket, the food, the living accommodations, the slot machine, the car, the city of Las Vegas, the future mother-in-law, Coltee’s weight problem, the wedding dress. It’s exhausting.

She could use that inscrutable, plastered-on smile of hers to communicate friendliness instead of disdain. Act like a treasured guest. For now.

And then, after the marriage, discuss and compromise. Try to act like an adult. And then, after two years, get out. Coltee is sure to make you unhappy. He can go back to his momma. Where he belongs.

I too have declined all weddings but two - my sisters and my best friend since birth.  My mom said I had to and paid for the dresses.  How does anyone in NJ find friends to do all that crap?  I sure would not.  I can't imagine having a bridal shower thrown by friends.  Your family knows you best and can really help out with the registry but most Italian's give money anyways.  My cousin met her husband in college and they lived together until their late 20s and got married.  She thought it was not right to ask for stuff she already had so her dad said to have a gardening shower.  It was different and a lot of fun.  Gifts ranged from a few dollars to a riding lawnmower, which the 2 dads went in on.  It is tradition for Italians to buy stuff from the registry to help you set up house (bridal shower)  and to give money to help you run the house (wedding).

Leida’s real dream is to become a doctor in America and she is willing (but not eager) to marry Eric to help move her plan along. She has some qualifications from Indonesia but cannot practice as a full-fledged doctor. Baraboo has no medical schools (surprise, I know!). So Leida would have to travel to Madison or Milwaukee to take additional courses. Minimum of 50 miles one way for either choice. Buy an additional car? Plus gas and insurance. Classes are not free, so there’s that cost. Books, additional money. May have to stay overnight on occasion, so hotel room fees. Where is this money coming from? It worries me that I have thought about this more than Leida or Eric.

Since Larissa has disinvited Cousin John and his family from the wedding, subtract them from the total of 10 expected for the wedding. You don’t really need a $2400 dress for a handful of people.

Thing is, that medical degree from Indonesia is most likely a bachelor's degree in medicine, so she might not have any graduate qualifications to practice medicine in the US.  Her bachelor's degree might not carry enough credits in required subjects, either, so she might even have to take some undergraduate courses to be able even to apply to medical schools.  That's assuming that her scientific English is good enough, too.  And medical schools are not all that easy to get into, even if you have excellent undergraduate work and scores on the MCAT--yes, she'd have to take and pass that, too.  She's at least five years, imo, from being able to practice medicine in the US.

Yes, and that crap is so popular here.  People drive from other states to get married in the barns in this area ,and some people have made some bank offering up their farms to suckers.

When I first heard Larissa put the sound after Colt, I thought of Japanese. In Japanese, Colt would be “ko-ru-to” in Japanese—three syllables! Neither language likes final consonants much. In fact, no word in Japanese ends in a consonant. They don’t even have anything akin to an alphabet. They have a syllabary. For example: ka, ki, ku, ke ko. There is no “k.”

When faced with pronouncing a foreign word, Japanese adds various (so-called epithetic) vowel sounds at the end of syllables ending in consonants or consonant clusters—to make them easier to pronounce. (Like how the sound functions in Portuguese.)

After a “t” you hear an [o] sound, like “ko-ru-to” (Colt). But sometimes after “t” you hear a [tsu] sound, so “nut” becomes “na-tsu”

After an “m” or “g” you hear a sound, so “game” becomes “gei-mu” and “big” become “bi-gu” (as opposed to Larissa’s infamous “biggie”). But sometimes “g” is followed by [o] as in “golf” or “go-ru-fu.”

And after a final “k” you hear an sound, so “cake” becomes “kei-ki.” But sometimes “k” takes a sound, so “black” becomes “bu-ra-ku” and “milk” is “mi-ru-ku.”

From what I’ve read, only certain regions of Brazil (and nowhere is Portugal) add the epithetic vowel . Larissa must come from one of these areas.

I don’t know about folks like Larissa, but for Japanese, it is extremely difficult to refrain from adding a vowel. But with proper training it absolutely can be done.

Yeah, I remembered the flowers later.  Colt seemed reasonable at that point. Now they are both inscrutable.

And her rant about a Jaguar.  What was that all about? She came across as totally irrational, when she actually could have had everyone on her side, since she was the victim.

Did she really need to make up the story about Debbie slamming the door, which she clearly did not.

Granted she was 67 getting married for the 3rd time, (rather than 30)and did not ask for gifts, she wanted people to come and celebrate. Her daughter and his son stood up for them.  I didn’t think it was in poor taste. And it helps of all her husbands I like this one the best. It was a fun party.

You would have to pay for their dresses and shoes and hair and make up...also forego or scale back on the bachelorette party and shower. No strippers! lol

Noooo! Leave Magic Mike!

We don’t have those in Indonesia.

?  The Michigan way or the southern way?  My thoughts?  I think you should NOT ask good friends.  Why put them through all the crap?  In our family it's usually other family members.  Standing up in a wedding is horrible.  Let your friends enjoy the wedding.

I’ll give them chairs?

Leida’s real dream is to become a doctor in America and she is willing (but not eager) to marry Eric to help move her plan along.

See, I don't buy that she wants to be a doctor AT ALL. From what Dr. Google has told me, medical training in Indonesia consists of four years of "schooling," (not necessarily medical school as we know it here) and a year of clinical clerkship. So, it's possible Leida took four years of courses and could potentially be a "general practitioner" there.  (I shudder at the thought of her treating any patients). IF she really did want to become a doctor here, she's probably looking at prerequisites (med schools require at least a full year of chemistry, physics, biology...) and then 4 years of medical school, internship, residency and possibly a fellowship.  She doesn't have the wherewithal to do a fraction of that.  For one, she's stupid.  For two, she couldn't even pass a med school interview with that attitude.

Her goal is to be on TV and become some sort of internet sensation.  That's about as likely as it is that Eric might take a shower, buy real furniture and put some savings in the bank.

I'm surprised that Ashley doesn't have a wreath on the door that says "door" and a sign on the walls that say "wall".

God I hate those signs!!! I’m planning to hang one in the kitchen that says “Tampons” and one by the family photos that says “Inmates” just for shits and giggles.

Totally agree. She would likely need to redo many undergrad courses. Then get great scores on the MCAT. But I think her biggest obstacle is that medical schools just don't accept international students. The very limited number of slots goes to American citizens.

But wasn’t there a TLC tweet (from the official account—so I’m assuming it’s okay to post about that on a no-spoiler thread? Sorry if it’s not okay) that stated she was licensed (or at least “qualified”) to practice in the US and Canada? 😂

Oh, TLC, you got played. 🤣

(Or they’re playing us... 😒)

I see your post, it's behind the couch.  Hee.

It bugs me so much when Leida says "If I find out you didn't tell me everything, you're gonna be in big trouble"  I can't believe that Eric takes that shit.  She must give the best head in the world, there is no other explanation.

Sorry for the visual of that guys.

With or without the glasses lol?

AGH! I miss everything. When/which episode did Tasha say they took her mattress because she wasn't using it and that she was in the apartment first and took her dad in because he was homeless? I MUST get it on that and see it. I usually pay such close attention. I can't believe I missed it.

I just went and watched all of Tasha in this one, the last one, and the one before. I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know which episode it's in? I want to make a .gif of her stating that in the episode so I will have it handy should Eric ever deny it was said by his own daughter. Taking her mattress and kicking her out ... that's so wrong on so many levels.

You’ll never find it because it’s stuff from social media and the spoiler thread.  There has been nothing said on the show about Eric’s prior living arrangements or Tasha’a bed.

Right. It would definitely not be easy. But the only way, I think...if he could figure out how to pull it off.

Wow, that's complicated!

Not sure I understand. How can anyone have two passports? I had dual citizenship (US and Ireland) my entire life until I was 18, but only ever a US passport. I would leave and enter the US and Ireland (and every other place I visited) on my US passport. How can he leave Russia on a Russian passport and later that night, enter the US on a US passport? Any idea?

I have US and German citizenships and passports. I travel to Germany and Italy 3-4 times per year and leave and re-enter the US with my American passport and enter and leave Germany with my German passport (in Italy they don’t seem to care which passport I use)      In the past I have tried to make things easier by just traveling with my US passport and when I entered Germany with my US passport, the German immigration officer asked me if I have my German passport with me and when I said no, told me that in future I should enter with my German passport. So now I travel with both.

Jonathon spends more on Fernanda on a night out than Colt has ever spent on Larissa. He bought her boobs for a gift, which elective surgery isn't cheap by any means.

On the live show they explained that they bought the car when they lived in Seattle and many people don’t have AC there as it’s not needed.

A small family celebration is fine.  I had a neighbor whose husband died while she still had little kids.  She met a wonderful man and had a second private ceremony.  We were so happy for her and since we weren't invited we all sent a wedding card with money and it said, "Thanks for not inviting us.  Here is a double money amount".  She loved it.  I loved not having to go.

You are exactly right.  You cant just terminate your parental rights unless there is someone else willing to step in and adopt the child, like a Step-Parent.

Actually, you can if both parents agree.  Teen Mom(2) has Janelle who let "the dad" terminate his rights because she just didn't want to deal with him.    But you probably do need to show some level of financial ability to prove you're not just doing it to be eligible for assistance.

While I do know two people who found very nice wedding dresses for under $800, $2k is not crazy for a wedding dress. And its a discussion that Larissa and Colt should be having, without Mommy the Enforcer.

I'd need to know Colt's annual income AND Debbie's too, since they share expenses, before deciding what is/not too expensive.  It's possible $2,000 IS crazy for a wedding dress.  Larissa and Coltee did have the discussionee but Larissa chooses to believe SHE does not have to live within anyone's budgetary restrictions.  Because Coltee is at work, Debbie has been given the thankless job (both here and with Larissa) of Enforcer.  NOTE:  David's Bridal (still open in Vegas) has a page on their website of 100 dresses for under $200.  They look beautiful.  If someone provides that info to TLC, David's budget might take a sudden nosedive.
