People like this make me wonder if we are somehow watching different shows...are we?

Just by looking at those two and their interaction, you can tell how much they don't like one another and are still together because MTV expects them to. Also caring? Really, just look at their kid, not Carly, the second one who has a blank expression and is constantly shown naked, or not shown at all since she's always at April's. During the reunion show, when she came to the stage (without shoes, but at least she has clothes on!) she headed directly to April. I only have one child and she's not even a year old, but when she is in a new environment around people she doesn't know, she always wants to come to me or my husband first, because we are the ones taking care of her, and I know kids are different, but IMO that speaks a lot about what kind of SAHM is Cate.

They are promoting the hell out of Tyler's "passion project". Prediction, the show is going to suck.

I wonder if he (not even going to use the term 'they' -- we know better) used this 'passion project' as some sort of leverage.  Perhaps, 'I'll let your film Catelynn at rehab -- and MTV gives me my 'passion project'

I still don't get the title. Capitalizing a letter in the middle of a word is generally done to give the word a double meaning. Like capitalizing the "W" in the Subway restaurant chain. (I know they don't do this, but it's the first example I could think of.) Subway is an underground train. SubWay could be an underground train or "the way of the subs", as in "the place to find sub sandwiches." "Reunited" and "united" basically mean the same thing, however; they both mean "coming together." Capitalizing the U does not give it a double meaning or make it a pun or anything creative.

I have something called 100 Things You Don't Know About Teen Mom or something in the background, and Catelynn just said, "In the future, I want to be maybe like a voiceover actress."  Huh?  That sounded kind of random, but then I realized she probably thinks it involves just lying on her couch and talking into a microphone and raking in the dough.

Actually, that whole show is ridiculous--if Maci had to switch parents with someone on the show, she'd "take two moms--April and Kim."  WTF??  Then again, she said her spirit animal is "a very well-raised pit bull"; I can see that person wanting April as a mother.  I guess.

The U is capitalized for Hollywood-type reasons.  They have to differentiate this series from other Reunited named series.  They should have keep the name the producers originally had for the project: "Catelynn just got out of rehab and we don't want her to relapse.  We have to keep Tyler occupied because he is ready for divorce. She won't survive another breakup.  Tyler wants to be an actor. Well, let's make him the star."

It shouldn't make any sense since it is still a Teen Mom OG episode. It is not a separate show. On my cable guide it reads "Teen Mom OG" with the episode titled "ReUnited". I am guessing it is to emphasize the "united" part of the word. All the hype about this passion project is really just an episode of TMOG.

It takes me back to the 70s and 80s tv shows when they were trying to test out a possible new tv sitcom. I believe they referred to it as a backdoor spin-off. No Farrah pun here. lol If you watched the Brady Bunch, there was an episode about the Kelly family who adopted three boys. That episode, although seen as a Brady Bunch episode, it was really a test to see how well the ratings were for that particular episode. Similar to a pilot. MTV is likely just testing the waters to see if this is something that can be made into a separate show. Or, they were tired of Tyler's nagging and they threw this at him just to shut him the hell up and stop throwing his hands in their face.

Being in bed, I am watching the previous episodes. I didn't notice it before, but when Cate was sleeping on the couch with the blanket over her head, she was wearing Beatz headphones. I thought it was a head band when I first watched this scene. It must be nice to just splurge on such an expensive item and be able to tune out all noises including that of your child whose cries wouldn't be heard while wearing such an item.

I just skipped it on my DVR. I'll check again tomorrow to make sure, because just no.

Me too. Andy Cohen from Bravo has said that if a person records the first episode of a show and then watches it within three days, he still gets the ratings point. No way is my point going to Tyler's "passion project". My point is going to go right where it belongs, with Snoop and Martha.

It can be three days or seven days, it depends. All that we record on a DVR is like a hard drive on a computer.  A bit of info:

http://people.howstuffworks.com/culture-traditions/tv-and-culture/dvr-viewings-tv-ratings.htm

Quote

Most networks use Nielsen's Live Plus service to track ratings. Live Plus looks at who watched shows on their DVRs within different time frames. Generally, it tracks three major categories: Live-Plus-Same-Day, Live-Plus-Three and Live-Plus-Seven. Each one looks at a broader timeframe, so Live-Plus-Same-Day looks not only at who was watching when the show aired, but also who watched the show that day and the next. Live-Plus-Three and Live-Plus-Seven track who watched within three and seven days of the original airing, respectively. When Nielsen first rolled out its Live Plus service, network executives were uncertain, but it's become an industry standard.

I not only DVR Martha and Snoop, I will put the episodes on disc because that show is a damn keeper! Season two has been ordered! YAY!!

On the special cate was asked how nova was most like her  she replied that nova has a very nurturing side,  that she likes taking care of babies and animals just like cate does. Um delusional much catelynn?  Nurturing is not a word I would use to describe you!  And I don't think cate has any interest in taking care of babies or animals.  She pawned the pig she wanted so badly off on April,  just like she does nova!

She brushed a horse four times during her month long detox from drugs at Seirra Tucson so that makes her pretty much a Veternarian.

Loved Catelynn yelling "Trashy Bitch! Trashy Bitch" from her cupped hands backstage towards Farrah at the reunion show.  Seriously?  She's yelling Trashy Bitch while walking around backstage barefoot? Is this the not same girl who went to "Boogietown" with her MOTHER while driving her car?  The girl whose husband has said on television that he wishes she'd just brush her teeth?  The girl doesn't work, sleeps all day, doesn't appear to do anything with the child she did keep, and is constantly yammering about being fucked up mentally?  She's yelling that someone ELSE is trashy? Wait, what?

And let's not forget just an episode ago how her own husband called her "classy" when she dribbled beer down the front of her dress as she was taking one last chug before they headed out the door at Maci's wedding?   Or how there are pictures of her at Maci's wedding ceremony in the chapel with a big ol' paper cup of coffee in her hands.  Klassy with a K.  How about you could probably go 5 minutes without pouring something down your gullet Cate.  At a wedding.  In a chapel no less.  Trashy indeed.

Message to the girl in clown pants...just no.  Close your "barely graduated from an alternative high school mouth, put down the jumbo quesadilla, go give your probably smelling like ciggies baby a bath, brush your teeth, maybe go for a walk or take your kid to a playground and get some fresh air (and try not to lay down while you're there) and then have about 500 seats."  How 'bout that there Cate?   You would have been far better off just not saying anything and I hope beyond hope that Nova wasn't there to see her mother acting like a bully and a fool.  Never again wonder why B&T don't want Carly around you.  Can you even imagine in a hundred years Teresa acting like that? I think not.

What I find confusing about this is;  who cares what Farrah says about what happened or if she is or sounds crazy? Farrah wasn't really doing anything when Amber came charging out screaming like a nut job and waving her fat hands around.  Each girl had her chance to speak, Amber said shit about Farrah during her turn, and Farrah didn't come charging out.  Farrah was speaking during her turn and Amber lost her shit and came flying out like the pill head that she CLEARLY is.    No matter what Farrah says now, no matter what she's done, how does that justify what Amber did?  Not sure I understand.

I don't either, Emmierose.  I was just reading the article on the Amber thread about Farrah's altercation when she was on Big Brother. I posted there how Farrah is only using words and saying shit to people. So what, who cares?

This is a response Farrah gave to the three when they called her a slut and a hoe on Snapchat, and Cate's response:

Quote

Abraham responded to the disses, "You're welcome losers I work with for the money I allow you and your kids to get. This is why you're #fake #trash #pathetic parents. Thanks God I have better things to do than this with my time. #RideMyCoatTails." Lowell responded, "Trash? Pathetic parents? ROFL. It's called one night out! Some like to be gone for months at a time! #patheticparent."

One night out? Bitch, please!

Catelynn the Clown can just sit and spread her ass cheeks down on five chairs and STFU.

Methinks Tyler Bacteria has mentioned something about Farrah's looks (not my cup of tea, but for many, she is smoking hot) and Cate decided to act out about that.  You know, because Catelynn looks like one of those booger creatures in the Mucinex commercials.  Green?  Perhaps green with envy about how Farrah looks.

I don't like Farrah, I think she has more issues than Newsweek magazine, but I don't think she is a "trashy bitch."  If anything, she has shown that she has a whole lot of initiative and hustle and realizes that the TM money isn't forever.  Farrah also loves and takes good care of Baby Goop.

LOL @ the Mucinex booger creature!

I need that on the visual snark thread!!!

You are spot on about the green with envy comment. Cate had said to Farrah somewhere, not sure if it was Twitter or elsewhere, anyhoo, Cate blasted Farrah for her plastic surgery and then claimed she [Cate] was going to lose weight and come back looking way better than Farrah. It was hilarious and even funnier now because we can see that Cate looks like she is one big pile of steaming shit with breath to match.

Cate is insecure and claiming to want to look better than Farrah while Amber clearly is trying to outdo Farrah by imitating her look. Except Amber's look is as cheap as a burger on the dollar menu.

I am screaming with laughter at this.  Ok I don't love how fake and plasticky Farrah looks with her shelf boobs, shelf ass, and shelf lips but Catelyn is a big lump picking her face scabs and eating them.  Yes, what a good look!

Oh man, she has A LOT of nerve claiming one night out. I agree that Farrah is gone a lot, and the grandparents probably raise Sophia. Which might be a better situation for her anyhow. But it's incredibly awkward when Farrah comes around and tries to interact with Sophia. It's like she's never met her before. But....um....glass houses, Catelynn. You've openly admitted that you leave Nova at April's SEVERAL nights a week. And how many vacations have she and Tyler taken? I'm assuming that "passion project" requires some traveling as well. GTFO.

Ahhh, that might be part of it. Didn't Ryan make some comment about her porn once too? And we speculated Maci had jealousy issues as well?

It never occurred to be before pulling up this link, but is Dawn paid by MTV?

Yes, Ryan said Farrah was nasty and had no morals. Other things were said as well by him. Here is one link:

Okay, Ryan. What about your ex and her habit of having children to keep Tyler around? None of you have any room to talk about morals.

A guy who says on national TV that he doesn't regret not spending more time with his son and was caught murdering animals for fun  calls someone out for not having morals. lol

I could have sworn there was a conversation between Ryan and some friend about Farrah's porn, but maybe I'm misremembering. But yes, they're ALL hypocrites. Maci, Tyler, Catelynn, and Tyler have all been to strip clubs. So you can frequent sex establishments, but if someone gets paid for their antics it's wrong? Not my cup of  tea, but I'd like to know where exactly the line is.

There was. Ryan also tweeted to Farrah (not even a DM-idiot) at one point after the tape was made asking her to contact him. She shut him down so quickly and it was too funny. Right after that was when he made the remark about Farrah having no morals. Would love to know what perfect Miss Maci said about that.
