This is why I wondered where in Florida. Her brother used to live in the same area that I do. I wouldn't call the area he was in a little Podunk town, but I would call my town that. Sadly, I could see "Matt from tv" being a surprise attraction at our Walmart.

Dammit. I was able to like one of CofCin's posts then all the others resulted in an error that said I wasn't allowed to like posts from that user, including CofCin. So, either everyone in this forum has blocked me, or my computer is punishing me for clicking on that link of Matt. A third, less like option, is that PTV is acting up and will fix itself once I reload this tab, but I'm pretty sure it is punishment for the Matt photo.

She's upset because one of mothers of Matt's children did an AMA (Ask Me Anything; not American Medical Association) with a TM FB/fan group. The woman revealed that MTV producers knew about Matt's children and had organized with one of the mothers -- most likely for a filmed confrontation.  However, Gary (or his attorney) found out of their own and ruined their surprise with his own ambush.

Amber is shocked that her supportive, coddling Producers were actually planning a hurtful reveal. Does she belive that the Producers and Crew actually cared about her?  She doesn't have a single redemptive quality.

Terri also believes that Matt and Amber have already married and that he most likely has close to 20 children. Icing on the cake is that his child support is $75/week and he's back in arrears.

Hmm, I'm wondering if MTV did indeed fire her and she's trying to save face by saying she's quitting so that Farrah and Simon can't get the satisfaction of knowing they had something to do with Amber getting fired.

I mean, Farrah has the right to complain to the MTV production to have Amber taken off the show or she would press charges on Matt for the attack on her father or for Ambers attempt to hit Farrah. I could see Farrah saying "Fire Amber or I will press charges!" or Farrah told Amber "Quit the show or you and Matt go to Jail." I dunno. LOL. I'm just typing at the same time as I'm thinking it.

I mean, If some co-worker tried to attack me and my boss didn't fire them I'd have a lawsuit, correct? Any lawyers in the forum? That would be sweet revenge for Farrah to have Amber fired and working at minimum wage jobs.

If Gary really did shut that down then major props to him. We've seen him mature into a wonderful man and father and this is just another example. 

 

Although I'd love to have seen this happen for the entertainment value......but Gary did an amazing thing if he put a stop to something like this.

@Calm81 I am certain MTV has their ass covered in more ways than one. If MTVs producers went as far as to try and concoct a show-down of sorts between Amber and Kelli, Matt's ex, that just shows they are in it for the the drama and the ratings which only serve to fatten their wallets. What I mean is, they may have clauses in their contracts about the cast not being able to hold MTV accountable for anything that happens as far as any fights, assaults, any sort of contact that may happen between cast members. Throughout the years, MTV has shelled out many shows such as Real World where fights have ensued, people have been injured, DV has occurred, and not once has anyone ever raised a stink about being the victim of any assault to the point they tried to initiate a lawsuit. 

As for Kelli noting it was Gary who put a stop to this staged scene that would have happened between Amber and her, this just goes to show the lengths Gary will protect Leah. It appears he doesn't want to see Amber hurt any more than she already is hurting herself by being with Matt. The more Amber hurts, the more it affects her relationship with Leah because Amber will spiral downward as we are watching it happen in front of our eyes. I see Gary wanting to protect Amber as he did when he tried to let her know what Matt was all about. He wasn't being an asshole to Amber. He was trying to get her to open her eyes. Sadly, she will have to come to that conclusion all on her own and endure the consequences of whatever happens to her, as most adults do who make bad choices.

I thought her big problem was that Michael tried to choke Matt and MTV cut that out? After the reunion aired she bitched about that part not airing - only Matt being hauled away. She has so damned many problems  - who knows what the real story is. All I know is that I would never risk losing my freedom again by charging the stage and trying to hit someone. ON camera. Hell, I'd never do it anyway.  The adult way to manage a Farrah is to ignore and pity her. 

Amber and Matt have scary anger issues. I can't believe they don't blow up at each other. Only sit in that garage and say that they have a wonderful life (Matt's the new George Bailey). 

I noticed that the unseen moments show was mostly reaction shots from Amber and Catelynn. They rarely showed Maci reacting to Farrah because she's smart enough not to either charge the stage for a physical fight or sit and say you'd beat her ass and egg her house.
