RoxiP July 28, 2022 Share July 28, 2022 I didn't get Eddie at all. He had the port wine stain on his face since birth, apparently was a successful, hard-working person, and then all the sudden drops out of life. Plus he kept saying "we" moved to Florida to be near our daughter but who was the other person - his son? I'm glad he ultimately got a good result but I kind of felt like he was a little self-serving. On the other hand loved the guy who catches iguanas for a living (does he really eat them? Well according to ABC Action News they are referred to as "chicken of the trees" in South Florida - I think I'll give it a pass). It was kind of hard to see the changes in the underarm girl but happy she was happy with the result. 2 Link to comment
Rickster July 28, 2022 Share July 28, 2022 I guess Eddie’s stain got worse and he developed those growths, but I was thinking he needed a therapist more than Dr. Lee. A bit disappointed we could see all those pilar cysts removed and not a single one popped 🙁 2 1 Link to comment

I think as more people were staring at him and/or asking him about his condition, he became more self-conscious and his anxiety overtook him. Edited August 4, 2022 by Back Atcha 2 1 Link to comment

Rickster August 4, 2022 Share August 4, 2022 Interesting case with the guy with the cholesterol bumps. I wish they had explained more - like why cholesterol lowering drugs, which he must have been on, didn’t stop their spread. We couldn’t understand why with all his health problems he didn’t work on reducing his weight. Also why he kept wearing tee shirts when long sleeves would have covered them up (unless that was just for TV). 1 3 Link to comment
kwnyc August 4, 2022 Share August 4, 2022 I felt bad for him. If he still lives at home with his mother (which he seems to), he should be eating better. But the bumps coming off seemed to change his whole attitude. The other two cases both seemed to hark back to the earlier days of the series, where there was a person with a bump (or series of warts!) and it bothered them, and Dr. Lee was kind to them and fixed the problem, and they went on to be happier. 1 3 Link to comment
howiveaddict August 4, 2022 Share August 4, 2022 I’m glad Dr Lee finally removed all those cholesterol bumps. I’ve seen them before but it was on the eyelids. With him having cholesterol problems so young, I bet it was a hereditary problem. I’ve seen tiny people with high cholesterol. I’m obese and my cholesterol and blood sugar have always been normal. I think a lot of it is genetics. I think his is more than eating fatty foods. Off topic, but my son has a cyst on his head that I want him to get removed. He’s chicken. I told him I’d go with him and his family doc offered to remove it. After watching this show, I’m afraid he wouldn’t remove the sac and I’d be telling the doc how to do it. 1 1 1 5 Link to comment

Athena5217 August 5, 2022 Share August 5, 2022 (edited) Will the cholesterol bumps grow back? Dr. Lee might have mentioned that but we were having heavy rain during the episode so I could not hear well. The cyst contents from the woman’s head looked like dog poop. I know it’s just skin cells, but I kept thinking how she said it smells like a dumpster and then it comes out looking like poop … I did not like Dr. Lee’s reaction to the older guy with the Nevis on his back. I know she likes to joke around with her patients, but it came off as creepy that she kept saying how cute or whatever his bumps were. He seemed okay with it. I’ve looked on the TLC app, but don’t see previous episodes of Pimp Popper. I wonder why. I guess it’s on Discovery, which I don’t have. I kept thinking it would run again, but I haven’t seen it. I would think with all that she had with the chance of a lot of bleeding that the procedure would be done in a hospital with the patient being put under so more growths could be removed safely. At least she could sleep better. The skin rash lady I knew right away was eczema, not psoriasis, since I have it too. Such a waste of time being put on the wrong medications. Glad she got on the right meds. And the guy with the lipoma came out well. I bet he feels 100 percent better now that that thing is off his butt. 1 Link to comment
