Now, this I might pay to see if there any chance Paul wasn't Pierre's father, just to watch Paul's head explode.

After much longer than I should have devoted to it, I've come to the conclusion that by "identification," Paul was referring to IP addresses, etc., so that his (alleged) attorney can track down those hooligans sharing that shit without paying for it (snort).

The DNA test isn't for Pierre (I think Pol did one for the immigration people), it's for the second son Ethan (or should I say Ethan-ee?).    I wouldn't be surprised if they did the DNA test for the visas, for a passport, just in case it's requested, Pol did claim with both sons that they might not be his.

I am thinking back to a time when Pole arrived at Karine's parents house, he does not impress her father who refered to him as "The Mute."  Pole makes gestures with his fingers meaning (to him) he wanted to marry Karine but to anyone else would look like he was gesturing he wanted to fuck Karine...and now he has, doing butt stuff with his daughter on a social media platform.

Father Karine should be rounding up his fellow retired police friends and hunt Pole down.  If only he was dissapointed that Pole was the suitor Karine was settling for.  Father Karine only being unimpressed with "The Mute," should have been his only problem, it seems so very long ago and far away.

It really makes you think that chances some of these girls take with these men. Annie lucked out, David might not be young and handsome but he is crazy about her and she dotes on him. There are other women who married fairly well. I read that Larry is actually building Jenny a house. His family is very kind to her and I was actually quite shocked by the emotional intelligence of his son. He understood she was alone and didn’t speak the language all that well, he encouraged his father to be patient and kind.  No wonder they only got one season. I do believe Jenny was in it for the Greencard but she seemed to grow fond of him, especially after being in American for a spell. I remember when they did a "where are they now" with them, she said something like "he is kind to me".  I would say many of these women (men too) are in it for a Green Card. Some women come from conditions we would never consider living in, some doing things we would never do, its the lucky ones who end up with a good guy, a comfortable home and good food on the table. No one needs a palace, just stability.

Exactly....and I would say for most of these women from teh very impoverished countries, like Jenny or Annie, all they want is a decent home, food and a man who doesn't abuse them. A very low bar----romance and lust and a super hot body or high paying job/education for the guy are not their priorities because that was never even something they could have attained back home. Back home, they did what they could to just survive. They didn't grow up sitting around in a canopy bed cutting out pics of poofy wedding gowns.

I agree. There is also the hope of being able to send a few dollars to their family in order to improve their lives. It is about security not Mr. Sexy.

So, I got some interesting tea today.  We are on vacation with my family, and my cousin's husband is a lawyer in Louisville.  We were talking about 90 Day Fiance, and he said, "I have never even seen the show but I got a phone call from that guy from Louisville who was married to the woman from Brazil."  He confirmed that it was Paul, and that he was asking him to represent him with the child abuse case that stemmed from stuff that happened on the show.  He claimed that the show producers forced them to do things because they had to keep up the façade that they were dumb,  THEN, he had the brass balls to say that my cousin's husband should represent them for free because he was on this show and he would get free publicity.  My cousin's husband told him that he had no idea who he was, and that he would not represent them for free.  He didn't take the case.

The laws vary from state to state but in Kentucky attorney client privilege only exists if the person is an actual client. Or if the attorney was offering a free consultation. It doesn't apply to cold calls initiated by the prospective client UNLESS the client specifically states that the communication is privileged.

@Suzywallis I am laughing at the audacity Pole had to solicit free legal representation.  

I listen to Psychology in Settle podcast and I think he approached that guy as well for some free therapy.  Dr. Honda did say he has spoken in length with Pole, so I presume Pole went to him with his problems.  He is very forthcoming (Pole that is) about anything and everything.  I have heard he does some pretty extensive cameos.

If Mark from Nikki and Mark can't sue Sharp successfully, Pole doesn't have a prayer.

@Quof Section  SCR 3.130(1.18) "Duties to prospective client" only covers a prospective client if it's an actual consultation. Simply calling up an attorney and airing grievances is not the same. Paul could complain but it wouldn't hold water. It's not illegal but it's probably not really good practice.

I don't know of anyone who actually tried to sue and won.    There are 10 or 11 poundticipants. or family members suing Megalomedia (the 600 lb. Life production company), and none have gone too far.     I suspect that Pole won't have a chance of suing anyone for anything, and winning.    It's all about the Benjamins with a lot of the show cast.  

I think a lot of people file, and hope the producers will settle it, and they can get a bunch of money, but the legal bills won't take too much.   

I'm very sure that TLC/Sharp and Megalomedia, and all of the production companies have very specific, ironclad waivers guaranteeing nothing to the participants. and guaranteeing the producers will win any lawsuit.    I understand the previous edition of Wipeout had a 50 page waiver, and contract that all participants have to sign.    I don't believe that 90 Day has a waiver that's anything short of ironclad, absolving them of responsibility for any event, and giving them the right to show any film or sound that they have any way they want.    

Years ago, when the Army had that Be All That You Can Be slogan, I was actually in the background of one of the commercials (I was the only one that didn't want to be on camera, and the only one who followed directions).   The one page waiver everyone on camera had to sign was extensive, pretty much giving the advertising agency the rights to use the still or film anyway they wanted, and to resell it.   (I must have been great in my bit part, because they fired that advertising agency after that, and my chance at stardom was gone, and none of the commercials ever aired). 

So, if the 90 day waivers and contracts are less than 40 or 50 pages, I would be shocked.

Every time it's time to cast HEA Pole and Karine have some kind of new drama. I think they're trying for publicity and to drum up interest. I got mixed up in their drama a year ago. It was...educational.

Stephanie of Stephanie & Harris talks about suing Sharp Entertainment - which is why she wasn't on the tell-nothing or seen again.  In her potential or pending or actual case, she frames herself as the only plaintiff who can match Sharp financially.  She does not emphasize the merits of her case, in part, because Sharp has lawyers ready on payroll or retainer who can make the plaintiff's legal fees prohibitive.  It's just the cost of doing business for Sharp.

If Paul had a winning case with a lucrative settlement, he could find a lawyer who would take the case on contingency.
