Because cases like that get media traction. When CPS does their job and keeps families together that's not newsworthy. "CPS STOLE MAH BABY FOR NO REASON" generates clicks, views, and outrage. "CPS was actually right to take the kids based on their living conditions" doesn't come out until way later and most folks have already moved on by then.

I agree. Briana may be too dumb to realize that guys look at her as nothing more than a booty call, but Kail isn't. The fact that she's always clapping back at the haters is proof she reads the comments on her social media. 

Kail's main story arc over the last seven years is her desperately wanting to escape her trashy background. Now that's pretty much shot to hell. I don't think she'd receive quite the same level of judgment if she were lates 30s, but three kids by three men at 24? There's no way to spin that into a positive.

And RIGHT on the heels of her divorce! By a guy that wants NOTHING to do with her. It's not as if a decade from now she met a guy with no biological kids, married him and said "well I will have one more"....no one would've batted an eyelash. 

But she was just a piece of ass to this guy and is carrying the evidence around in her uterus for all the world to see. 

 

Briana is very dumb. 

 

@StatisticalOutlier (love your name by the way) - I 100% believe Javi would still have sex with Kailyn but he doesn't WANT her any more. All grown women know a man wanting to have sex with you doesn't mean he wants you, no way Javi would put up with her BS, her moods, have his Mom clean her house, share his resources with her.... no no no I don't think so.

Kailyn is very insecure regarding her upbringing. Most people would not blame her for being born to Suzzy and never having supportive caregivers. Given her background most would commend her for showing affection and interest in her boys given the mother figure she had, but Kailyn is always a sour puss.

 

Everything is an attack, and everyone is against her, everyone owes her something. That type of attitude is extremely off-putting, combine that with her choices regarding Chris Lopez and this pregancy people have no sympathy for her. Compare her to someone like Catelynn from TM who had a similar background and has made plenty of mistakes, but usually isn't out there putting other people down- people have more sympathy and understanding for her character flaws even if they criticize.

That ex-sex happened around November and finished in December. Going by Javi's information, and I will take his word over that sea monster any day, he thought they were working on their relationship up until Xmas. Isn't that around the time they were filming Marriage Boot Camp?

Janelle, IMHO, exhibits narcissistic personality disorder comorbid with borderline personality disorder. As the daughter of a narcissistic mother myself, we tend to end up with the short end of the stick because eventually, Janelle will view Ensley as competition. This is a good point. AND I think a lot of them watch sporadically, haven't watched from the beginning, etc. My sister was trying to talk to me about OG the other night and she was going on and on about Farrah, but said she likes Amber. I was shocked. I asked how she could like someone that abused the father of her child.....and she didn't even know about that!!!

For real though. It is always the guys who are critical of the porn! It's kind of like how every time ther's an article on Ashley graham or some other plus size model, there's always a plethora of dudes complaining that she's encouraging obesity or something stupid like that. How interesting that it's a dude alllllllways criticizing bigger women. You never see them saying the same thing on an article about anorexia. I'm not even overweight, but damn! They should mind their own business and keep their critical opinions off forums meant for women. It's been a long time ago now, but I once clicked through those comments on Jenelle's Twitter. Many of them only tweeted her and a few other "celebrities," the comments were always how great the person was and how awful the criticizer is, and were almost always misspelled and practically incoherent. They would tweet to or about Jenelle, one of the trashy VH1 shows and the housewives. I don't think they were real people; I think they were paid accounts and many were not native English speakers.

I'm not going to do it again, because it may not be the same and I'll find that she has some real fans, resulting in my faith in humanity again be shaken. For now, I will continue to ignore the abhorrible literacy rates in our country and assume that all posts like I quoted (and Christina87 nailed) are from a paid account and not a real person.

I think she has done more than enough for Janelle. Yes, it sucks for Kaiser roll that Barbara cannot give any more help. Btw - that kid is like a carbon copy of Nathan - that doesn't help him in Barbara's eyes either I guess. Putting aside Barbara's imperfections (let's face it though, having Janelle in your life wouldn't bring out the best in you) what has she gotten in return for helping Janelle with Jace? This is an elderly woman already taking care of two grand kids (one full time) and holding down a job. Jesus, I barely have enough energy holding down a job and two kids and a wife - how she manages with Janelle making life 10 times harder is beyond me. If she get's involved then it will be Jace 2.0 - you know Janelle is going to accuse her of trying to steal custody of Kaiser roll from her. How much more stress should Barbara take?

That last part of your post which is in bold is generally how I feel about the situation. I know the original poster was not implying Barb take Kaiser under her wings. She was merely wondering why Barb doesn't say on camera how much she loves Kaiser, misses him, things of that nature.  After watching for years what a piece of work Jenelle is, it does seem plausible she would go on the attack and then claim, "My mom is now trying to take Kaiser from me!" I bet it breaks Barbs heart to not have that kind of bond with Kaiser or to spend a day with him where she can dote on him like grandmother's do. In fact, we don't even know if that didn't already happen and knowing Jenelle, she blew her stack over something and then accused Barb of something about Kaiser. Barb may have thought she was done, no more, she isn't going to do or say anything that would cause Jenelle to come at her again. At the risk of looking like a grandma who doesn't have affection for her grandkids, it is a position that Jenelle puts her mother in.

Barb is not at all perfect. There are no perfect parents or grandparents. We all have screwed up in our parenting. Barb was dealt a lot in her marriage. I am glad she found her way out of that and made a life for herself. Her adult kids are responsible for their behavior.

I have to stick up for Barbara. My mother-in-law helps a lot with my kids since my wife is often sick, and I really appreciate it - so I put myself in Barbara's position. I think she has done more than enough for Janelle. Yes, it sucks for Kaiser roll that Barbara cannot give any more help. Btw - that kid is like a carbon copy of Nathan - that doesn't help him in Barbara's eyes either I guess. Putting aside Barbara's imperfections (let's face it though, having Janelle in your life wouldn't bring out the best in you) what has she gotten in return for helping Janelle with Jace? This is an elderly woman already taking care of two grand kids (one full time) and holding down a job. Jesus, I barely have enough energy holding down a job and two kids and a wife - how she manages with Janelle making life 10 times harder is beyond me. If she get's involved then it will be Jace 2.0 - you know Janelle is going to accuse her of trying to steal custody of Kaiser roll from her. How much more stress should Barbara take?

That is so sweet how you and your mother in law are there for your wife! I'm not married yet, but sometimes I will have migraine episodes (which I think are more like one long migraine with breaks) for 3-4 months. Then I'll be fine for a few years, and it'll happen again. I dread that happening when I'm married and have kids, and sometimes feel like no spouse will have the patience for that. I am able to work full time during these episodes now, but every day is truly a struggle. They seem to hit worst on nights and weekends, but there are wide effects like dizziness and visual distortions that last the whole window. It normally happens in the fall, and then I'm literally totally fine for 2-5 years before it happens again. I'm thankful for people like you and your MIL! Sometimes I worry that I'll shortchange my kids, although it may only happen once or not at all while they're young.

Look at the way Farrah's "castmates" talk about her. "She treats people horribly" is always secondary to "she did porn". They deal out lowblow after lowblow about the porn. They don't give a shit about anything else.

I might have to be done after this episode. I can't handle watching Jenelle abuse that poor boy. It was so hard to watch and I found myself thinking that UBT, of all people, seemed reasonable and almost kind to Kaiser.

My sister is a crazy bitch that I suspect has borderline personality disorder. Her ex-husband is currently trying to get full custody of their kids and it's so upsetting to me. My other, non-crazy sister is encouraging me to not watch this trash anymore (and she herself watches plenty of trash!). It's too triggering. I don't have time anyway, I have a full time job and a baby and would rather spend my very little tv time watching something that isn't so fucking depressing. 

I'll probably keep watching and just skip Jenelle's scenes. She is an awful human being and it's scary how much she reminds me of my sister. My poor nieces and nephews have two loser assholes for parents and it really sucks :(

ETA: my sister had a lovely childhood and was never abused at all. She just sucks.
