The Lonely Js Club: Jason, James, Jackson & Johannah

Message added by Scarlett45,

Discussing the charges against Jana is fine, but do not post any information that reveals her address/contact information- even if said documents are public (i.e. a part of court proceedings.)

Discussing charges against Jana is NOT a jumping off point to speculate on other instances abuse/neglect etc towards the M-children or to elaborate on Josh's conviction and potential victims.

And that would be the reason it would be forbidden. A daughter going against her father's wishes and doing what she wants  to do. When you think about, the three oldest daughters in Fiddler on the Roof all rebel in one way or another. They're smart, think for themselves, speak their minds... All things that are not Boob (or Gothard) approved.

Ah, tradition...where would we be without tradition? Deedle deidel deddele deidel dum!

just loved Fiddler on the Roof.  I can see the parallels between the story and the memes..   I guess looking back at the pictures Jinger gets to be Sphrintze...

There is another pic with Josie and Mack. Josie has on her bowling shoes and Mack is barefoot. I'm incredibly skeeved out thinking those girls put their bare feet in those rented shoes - for them and for the next people whose wear those shoes.

Wanna bet TLC footed the bill for Miracle's birthday party? How strange is it that JD, an almost 27 year-old man, was at a party for a girl 20 years his junior? And where are her friends? Oh, right....

It IS his sister--not some random neighbor. I'm glad to see them doing something NORMAL.

There is a large age difference between my 3 older sisters and me (10-13 years). They had all moved out by the time I wasn't much older than Josie (between ages 18-20). They never attended a party of mine after they moved out, and to be honest, I don't remember them at any of parties before they left. I just remember my friends and my poor parents when I started to favor slumber parties. :D

Once again, Miracle is more speshul than anyone else! They all get the gooey sundae alone with mom and dad, but she gets a huge family party!

It looks like they celebrated at Dairy Queen by the sign on table that says Blizzard. Too bad it can't be just a normal kid party with her friends.  I wonder where (or if) Jordyn gets to celebrate her birthday next week.

Our local bowling alley requires you to wear socks & has socks & footies available for purchase.

I remember the episode when Anna's parents came to town & they went bowling (minus Pa Keller because he was sick.) Anna had to buy socks out of a machine because she wasn't wearing any.  (Why do I remember this useless crap?)

My older teens always go to my youngest's parties.  Not because they think a princess party is cool but because it is their baby sister and they love her and want to share her day.

I agree, this party actually looks normal.  Food and bowling.

I think Jana is there because she planned it, and she's Josie's buddy. The guys? Everyone likes bowling, and they don't have to hang out with the littles. I also bet TLC cameras were on hand; Jinger's wedding gave the network an opportunity to work in Boob, Mechelle, and Miracle into a show ostensibly about the next generation of breeders.

I actually like that photo, one of the few moments where she looks genuine.

As far as leaving a cult, of course it is difficult, of course people are different and all that. But at the end of the day, we are all adults at some point (well, ok, the Duggars not so much, mwah) and we do make conscious decisions of how to live our lives. It CAN be done to leave, if you want it enough.

Don't like JD at all. He gives off very odd vibes indeed.

Yes, in a Children of the Corn sort of a way.

Looks like as of sometime in September, JD became a commercial pilot (he can now charge for Duggar Aviation services), and Josiah is a private pilot. Hopefully, this can get JD a real job at a real airline, but this being the Duggars, I seriously doubt it. And they're so insular; who will he charge for flights? Their little group of church friends? Not very Christian, that.

While JD can now charge for his services, he would have to qualify aircraft specific to work for a commercial airline.  I doubt that he is anywhere near that although he has qualified for multi-engine.

Ah, that damn education stuff again, rearing its ugly head to keep Duggars in their place! No Delta for you!

Frankly, I'm shocked that they allowed JD to even get his commercial license. What is Boob's end game here? As I said before, I can't imagine him flying strangers around, and as it is, I believe both planes are single engine, 4-seaters. I seriously doubt Boob has the coin to pony up for a Lear jet or its equivalent (sorry, I'm not up on my aircraft these days, so much so that I misspelled the jet's name, lol).

Maybe they were charging for services already and got found out so JD had no choice but to get the commercial license. Or maybe they couldn't afford the plane anymore without added income. Plus they'll have captive audiences that they can convert. JD probably has a God is my co-pilot hung from the controls.

Oh, JD...he looks like he's about 47 years old.  He looks perpetually exhausted.

Unlike Jana, who always looks beautiful even as she escorts her clan of younger siblings hither and yon.

I need both of them to escape and soon.

Whatever it is, it's sure taking a long time to heal. She had the scabby marks before Jinger's wedding, which was what, a month ago?

Even the leghumpers have noticed it on the Duggar family blog.

Could those be raisins? I'm on my phone, so I really can't tell for sure. However, I do remember that bread maker from the FU Internetz scene in the industrial kitchen when Jinger tried to teach Joy.

It could be raisins, but it does not look like bread dough, it looks like  cookie dough .  Btw, I have that mixer and it is great.

That's right, that cluttered, Pintristy workspace can't be TTH.  On Pickles and Hairspray, there are photos up of a couple dozen finished loaves of bread.  Plus cookies.  Jana has been busy.  Busy baking at Jill's or Joshua's house?

Yeah, now that I think about it, there's a window over in the right hand corner of the "nice" kitchen. The ovens/st would be on the long coveunter to her left and behind.

Whoever designed that kitchen, knowing they had to cook for 16 kids, and not always in the industrial kitchen, did a horrible job with the layout. The island should have been for prep and the sink over by where Jana is crammed into such a small space.

That's funny Michelle captioned the pic saying Jana was baking bread, because that looks like cookie dough to me. There's a measuring cup full of chocolate chips just to the right of the mixer.

Useless Michelle hasn't cooked for her children in almost 20 years. She's so far removed from the realities of parenting that she doesn't know the difference between a cookie and a loaf of bread.
