(Did you sleep with Jermaine Dupri? (accusatory tone) / Kandi: Yeah, I was curious so yeah I slept with him. #shrug).

That Condo/Townhouse read was so stupid. I think Phaedra was trying to say Kenya was like an apartment that converted to a condo/townhouse but that's stupid because when an apartment converts to a condo/townhouse that usually means people are BUYING the unit, not temporarily living in it.  Creonta accidentally upgraded Kenya trying to be clever and witty.  Sad.

Mmhm I agree.  The original objection wasn't that it was out of context it was that she was using it incorrectly.   It's what made me say she was Matlocking for no damn reason.  ;-)

And then you have people like Kenya who doesn't hear a damn thing anyone says while she sits there with her smug little smile concocting the burn she's gonna lay on someone as soon as they're done talking.

Every single one of them is what they claim the others to be.  None of them own their shit.  None of them have been any more hurt than anyone else but it's all some stupid competition for whose been wronged the most and I'm so tired of it.

The minute other people stop propping others up for "reading" someone is the day I'll be a happy girl.  Read or no read, when you're fucking rude you should be told you are.  Not given kudos for it.

I've turned a corner.  I won't say I like her, because I've gotta also trust you to like you.   I will say that I'm more convinced now than I ever have been that she's playing a character and yes, that character is the mustache twirling Cruella de Moore.   Either that, or her ability to hold and nurse a grudge is fading.  Because three times now, I've witnessed her console someone she was in vehement disagreement with all season long and just moments before.   In the van ride, she hugged Sheree, who she'd been having that silly whose Mcmansion is finishedest word-war with for months.  A couple seasons ago she got up and hugged Nene after the my mom wasn't shit breakdown and last night when Sheree finished telling her story, she was the only one to get up and go to her.    I'm not sure if it says something about someone that they're able to convince me so thoroughly that they're a believable asshole or that it says something about me that I can't spot for the act it is, but either way, what I will say is I like that she can put aside tv shenanigenery for bigger picture real empathy.   I think.  lol.

TL;DR -- there are a lot of low cards in that deck so I can understand Kenya looking for a new stack.

Regarding the bolded-you are not being fair to Phaedra, she also boasts a healthy portfolio of single felons, parolees and some soon to released felons.

When Porsha was talking about being self-made-wasn't the season with Claudia Jordan on it all about Porsha and the Rolls Royce and her rich African dude?

To me one of Phaedra's misuse of hearsay was when Kandi was repeating a conversation between the two of them.  I think Phaedra should work on telling the truth and rely less on the turn of a legal phrase.  Especially the word hearsay as there are literally volumes of exceptions to the hearsay rule in case law.

I think Kandi was just fishing with this one. She first accused Phaedra of "calling" people and when Phaedra said that she didn't call anyone, Kandi jumped on that as an admission of Phaedra did talk to someone, she just didn't call them. Kandi also pointed out to Andy that Phaedra didn't deny talking to people about the restaurant. I guess Kandi ran into some road blocks in getting the permits required to open the restaurant and decided to blame Phaedra no matter what. I wonder if this is more like what happened with the Feds showing up, blaming Phaedra even though she didn't do anything. I really doubt that Phaedra has any power within Atlanta's city council. LOL

Can anyone refresh my memory as to how Phaedra and Bob Whitfield are friendly?  I missed that in the past and was surprised to see Phaedra schooling him to apologize to Sheree in the van after he was smirking about beating her.  

Speaking of Sheree, when they showed the clip, twice, of Sheree saying to Nene, "Ooooh dont make that faaaaaace..." reminded me of why I use to love Sheree, and why she's kind of a bore now.  She's just too nice now.  Sheree was always best when she was going low and a few beats away from taking off her earrings and taking you outside.  I thought she bullied Kim Z in the past but the petty part of me thought it was pretty hilarious.

I have to say, it is glorious to see Phaedra finally being raked over the coals for her years and years of lies and absolutely never getting called on it.  From what I hear, she will pay big in Part 4.  I don't wish ill will on her, but her ability to look at her cast mates and us, the audience, and just fabricate stuff, has always made me question her.   It's no surprise she ended up with a criminal.

Love this whole thing.  About the bolded though I thought Kandi was reaching with this because it would mean that Phaedra was so influential as to actually cause such a thing to happen.   It's one thing to place the call but quite another for anybody to come to the phone.    It really sounded like some mama joyce-made conspiracy.  Ya'll know the streets be talking.

I don't even know if you need friends in city hall, i think you can just call the health department/department that handles permits and file a complaint and get things held up.  

Things already seem to go a little slower in the South.  I remember getting a car wash in Savannah....it literally took over an hour.  Over here if it's not busy you get your car back in like 15 m.  

So, i could see the process already going slow, even if it was perfect.  And if someone calls in a complaint it goes even slower.

However I agree that it was a stretch for kandi to make the accusation.

If Phaedra had buddies down at the city she could have talked to them and gotten them to delay paperwork, certificates, etc.  There could be code enforcement situations or a delay of a liquor license.

Did Phaedra do any of this? We don't know.  COULD Phaedra have done any of this? Yes, because we've seen on national tv Phaedra "encouraging" someone to pursue a wage case against Kandi when the fact of the matter is Johnnie probably was a 1099 non-employee contractor and not subject to employee/wage laws because he's not an employee.  And Phaedra probably knows this but its cute & funny to mess with Kandi's money by suggesting on national television that Kandi doesn't pay her employees.  Just the suggestion she doesn't is damaging.

Watching the facial expressions on the show tells me everything I need to know about most of these ladies. For example Kandi never makes ill expressions or rolls her eyes when talking about Phaedra or Porsha's successes. (As long as no one is dissing her in the process) However when Kandi was discussing Xscape was coming back together both ladies where side eyeing or rolling their eyes.

My take on the restaurant and nothing to back it up, is Kandi's restaurant had been delayed a long time and I believe in the interim there were questions about certain permits and permits having expired, a contractor sued for not paying the subs.  So when then slam was tossed out there about the restaurant not opening, Kandi was really forceful about letting the world know everything was okay.  I believe it was an opportunity to open the door and go off on Todd and his efficiency and Kandi being a sugarmomma.

Had Kandi, said it is not ready to open, I am guessing some might use some "word on the street" type information to indicate Kandi's place wasn't completely legit and of course it would be kept Todd's fault.  I think there is such much animosity between Phaedra and Todd and Kandi that any little crack is going to be amplified beyond reason.  Phaedra brags about hanging around City Hall frequently so whether it is true or attempting to rule by intimidation she does throw it around.  I remember her comment because I thought as an attorney she would be at the courthouse-not City Hall.

Well, Kim Chi must be inspired by Phaedra on many fronts because Kim Chi can't walk in heels, dance, or even really lipsync. Shemar is hot, but he's been pinging my gaydar since he first showed up as Neil's brother on Young & the Restless.  If he and Phaedra actually started "dating", I wouldn't be shocked.

This is all turning into an awful blur so awful its impossible to keep track of the ugliness and filth.Except for Cynthia, sort of...whose participation is a total mystery. If nature abhors a vacuum, I guess she serves a purpose. I quit watching the episodes, thinking it would all be spelled out somewhat on the reunions. Wrong. Sheree's return makes some sense. But the others? Again, how tragic that this is how Bravo, AND Andy Cohen in particular, choose to represent "successful black women" in one of the South's largest cities. I have to say that Todd and Kandi's odd "take" and constant support of Apollo are notably disturbing, especially since both---Todd in particular----so completely dropped any connection to the two sons Apollo left behind. 
Takes some of the luster off Kandi's claims of do-good "philanthropy." But it is the incessant slander and vulgarity.....enough! Get the hook! Time to recast or pull the show for Heaven's sake. Or maybe the one who should really get the hook is ring master Cohen.

Every time Phaedra opens her up she manages to achieve one of two things...and sometimes she achieves both simultaneous. 1. That she is a liar 2. She foolishly thinks she's the smarter person in the room. 

Isn't it funny how Phaedra kept dropping her lawyer talk about 'hearsay' but she had no problems talking hearsay when it came to Shamea and Kandi's supposed lesbian relationship. Hell at the very reunion, she said 'pay your employees and then you won't have a lawsuit'...did I miss the part where Kandi was actually found guilty of this accusation? Because until it's proven that she did in fact not pay Johnny, then what the fuck you said is hearsay you fucking idiot. And when Phaedra gets called out for lying, her response is that giving an answer is a courtesy. Is it still a courtesy to give people FALSE information? You can give a response without lying. I just cannot with Phaedra. I can take a liar, I can take an instigator, I can an idiot...but the combination of all 3 added with some superior complex over others...nah, feel free to take that back at any point Bravo. I don't want it. 

I love how Phaedra wants to throw shade about people getting sued. Phaedra, you never been sued before? Hmmm? 

I'm slowly turning around on Kenya. I can't recall all of seasons past, but this season, I feel that Kenya came across as a character. She was playing her part and doing her part for the drama but there are moments where I think that a lot of Kenya's behaviour isn't really malicious. Despite her issues with Sheree, Kenya stood up for her in the car with Bob (who is an asshole by the way), and she seemed genuinely hurt for Sheree as she spoke about her issues with abuse. Yet on the other hand, when Kenya was talking about being embarrassed about Matt, you have Porsha on the other hand rolling her eyes. Now that the season has unfolded and Matt continues to be an idiot, I'm not sure if he's willing to lie to keep himself in the spotlight so while I can believe that Kenya and Matt had some sort of understanding going into the season about their storyline, I'm not willing to fully give Matt the complete benefit of the doubt that he's telling the truth 100%. 

So Porsha spills the beans next episode? Is there some place where I can place a wager and who that person may be? Perhaps some well doing Christian Southern Belle who is just so smart and a picture of a purity and truth?

I know Phaedra is the main villain here,  but I cannot deal with Porsha. Did she seriously try to insist that no one celebrates her attempts at doing good and then, when Kandi points out she donated $5,000 to her Celebrity Apprentice task, go on a tirade about how she cannot be bought and receiving money doesn't mean she can be treated unfairly? This woman is reaching Nene levels of obnoxiousness where she just yells to yell, fights to fight and doesn't care about anything but getting in the last word. Say what you will about Kandi, she knows how to apologize and she knows how to take responsibility for her part in things. Porsha has the emotional maturity of a toddler. I seriously hope her time on this show is up.

I just about laughed when porsha said she apologized to Kenya because I specifically remember when porsha, Nene, Cynthia and Kenya were at a Mexican restaurant and Kenya apologized to porsha and they cut to a talking head of porsha gleefully boasting that she didnt apologize and because she didn't apologize she didn't do anything wrong.  Or because she didn't apologize she didn't admit to doing anything wrong. 

If they had really wanted to shade porsha THAT'S the clip they should have played.

She is talented but "Waterfalls" is not the song that she wrote for TLC.  She did "No Scrubs" for TLC.  Another Atlanta act, Organized Noize wrote Waterfalls.

I get the feeling, and I could be wrong, that she thought Phaedra was telling her the truth. Sadly, she is and was easily misled by Phaedra and other "smarter" people. Sorry, I thought you said Porsha, not Phaedra. I need to slow down when I read tonight! LOL
