I thought Sarah was great. She was the first person to cause Heather to lose her shit on camera; the barely contained fury from the Dubrows - over a cake Heather didn't even like - while Sarah was having her drunken crying jag was hilarious. Less amusing but also notable was the fashion in which Heather called over Tamra and Vicki in order to literally construct a wall of people to "yell" at Sarah.

I actually found it difficult to watch some of the Curtin family scenes, knowing what was coming.  Seeing Alexa walk over to Raquel's birthday lunch made me cringe.  She was wearing one of Lynne's dresses and it was so freaking inappropriate for a 15 year old girl.  Ironic that Alexa's then-boyfriend told her she looked like a stripper.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'd bet money Lynn did some escorting before she had the girls(also Laurie. Totally worked as an escort before her first marriage. JMO). There's something about Lynn and Frank...I think they were into some serious shit when they were young. Wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that when they met Frank was a pretty big dealer and Lynn was a sex-for-drugs party girl. They just have this vibe. I don't think either one has ever really worked a straight career. I think it was dealing and hooking before the girls and real estate/pyramid schemes after the girls.

I never got the dealing/pay-for-play vibe from Lynn and Frank -- more of a baked-stony surf side vibe. I also did believe Frank's one outburst (post eviction) where he pointed out that Lynn's overspending and overreaching was hugely contributing to not being able to get out of debt. The review is not a good one. I don't know-- Frank may be a master manipulator or someone who got so incredibly deep in debt that he turned to illegalities to help himself.

BTW, on the Bravo site, there's a clip of some BS baby shower Tams hosts this season (Bravo pays and Tams hosts) at which Lynn appears. She, too, in now a Grandma. Turn your volume down before viewing as Tams is at full decibel.

On another very random note...  do we think that Laurie lied about her age in Season 1?  I could have SWORN they showed her age as 41 back when the OC first premiered in 2006 and I just assumed that was correct. 

 

But then I was reading Reality Tea the other day and they have listed under their "June Birthdays" section that Laurie was born on June 10, 1959.  Assuming that's correct, that would have made her 47 in 2006.  Perhaps 46 during filming. 

 

Anyway, not that it matters in any way shape or form.... just found it interesting.

Good lord yes! Watching Lauire mother was like watching Game of Thrones. Children exist to further the fortune of the family (find Laurie a rich husband). Josh would have been a handful for any parent, but IMO, Lauire had no interest in him and was looking for a way to wash her hands of him when he was as young as 14. She really creeps me out bad, like worse then Tamara. Her affect is so flat. I really don't think she loves anyone but herself. I'm not seeing where it's proved that she is lying, just that the County responded and that there's insufficient evidence to back their response. Am I missing something?

The County is asserting insufficient evidence and if evidence develops wants the deputy held to pay damages not the county.  Pretty typical government denial.  Scary story.

Hmmm, yea, it's likely going to be a case of he-said/she-said and the truth will never truly be known. Unfortunately, there are too many stories out there about women who have been raped and assaulted by cops. So that in itself isn't unbelievable. I did think it was weird that he allegedly told her he had other matters to attend to, but she was to remain there. Then 20 minutes go by. After about 10, I probably would have left. Send me to court, I don't care. At least then there's witnesses. 

The article mentioned other times she's been pulled over and found with drugs. So it's not out of the realm of possibility that that's what happened this time, and she offered sex to evade a charge. Either way, the cop was out of line - but obviously rape would be much worse, and I really hope that's not what happened. NO ONE deserves that. 

Finally, those pictures do NOT look like the Alexa I remember. Wow.

She's not saying goodbye, San Juan Capistrano is in Orange County. She's neighbors now with Lori Peterson who lives in SJC also. The new house is beautiful, just needs a few changes inside.

I'm glad Alexis left with a good edit but I have wondered what would happen if they got rid of Kelly and even Vicki then brought Alexis and Lydia back. Might be interesting.
