I thought the KAC interview was terrible with very little holding her down to answer a question. Trump, his surrogates and KAC never answer anything anyway, so I'm not surprised. The thing is about her looks-I have zero problem insulting a woman whose job it is to defend her awful, misogynistic boss who insults women on an almost daily basis. Women like Kellyanne are the worst kind of woman to me and I don't feel bad at all saying snarky things about her. When you work to elect a buffoon that grades women on a scale and calls them fat pigs, animals, dogs, flat and not attractive enough to work for him, be prepared to take some of his own medicine. May not be right, but that's how I feel. :)

Miss universe has a taped interview before she was crowned, saying she had suffered from anorexia.  Trump haters jump at everything.  They should have done a respectful interview, without stupid miss whoopi yelling like a crazy person.  This show is getting soo stupid it's not funny.

Kellyanne Conway Admits That Trump Broke The Law By Flouting Trade Embargo With Cuba

Quote

Donald Trump’s campaign manager appeared to unwittingly confirm an explosive Newsweek story on Thursday, telling ABC’s The View that a Trump company did indeed spend money in Cuba in 1998, in violation of a longstanding U.S. embargo that Trump has vociferously defended.

Newsweek’s Kurt Eichenwald reported on Thursday that Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts spent at least $68,000 in 1998 in Cuba, “at a time when the corporate expenditure of even a penny in the Caribbean country was prohibited without U.S. government approval.” The story notes that “with Trump’s knowledge, executives funneled the cash for the Cuba trip through an American consulting firm.” After the consultants traveled to Cuba and spent the funds, the consultants instructed Trump’s company on “how to make it appear legal by linking it after the fact to a charitable effort.”

Asked about the report, Conway first tried to defend Trump by pointing out that the company ultimately decided not to invest in Cuba and therefore was “not treasonous.”

Gee, she was being SO CAREFUL to not say anything that might harm his reputation!

I don't have a problem with Conway's looks.  But her attitude, the sneering and patronizing tone, bugs me.

Loved how BBBB's answer to what Drumpf said about Ms. Machado, was to, deflect (no surprise) and pivot by saying she was "breached her contract" by gaining weight. As if she had ballooned to the point of obesity. This told me she agreed with what he said.  I saw the video where he brought a contingency of cameras to film her working out to lose the "weight" and she looked fine. Not the "massively overweight" that the Orange Orangutan claimed.

Boy they have been ripping on KellyAnne Conway on the news tonight. MSNBC especially.  Her admitting Trump committed a federal offence by spending money in Cuba on The View is all they can talk about.

Was it Paula that pressed her into admitting It? I may have to grant her a month-long reprieve from being the target of my wrath and scorn as a reward for her good work today.

Reminiscent of when Hasselbeck unwittingly asked Palin about her wardrobe when the campaign thought they had put that to bed.

I am soooo loving it.

Great work ladies of the View!  I rarely say that.

Now we need to get President Obama to knock some sense into Raven about Johnson and why a vote for him is a vote for Trump.  Maybe tweet him?  Ok I'll do it.

When I taught kindergarten, one of our classroom rules was "We are responsible for what we say and do." I wouldn't listen to "but so-and-so did blah blah" from five year-olds. So it's infuriating to me when adult's get away with it-- Bitsy's "what about Obama?" and Trump supporters. Answer the damn question. Own your actions. jfc.

Rule 1 was: Be kind.  They could use that one, too.

Im always curious about the women who support, make excuses for and lie for Trump, do they not realize that when he fails they will also be attacked by Trump?

The women who support Dtrump are like girlfriends who marry the guy they were cheating with-- they don't think divorce/cheating will happen to them because he REALLY loves them.

KAC wanted the gig because she is the first woman to head up a presidential campaign,  the $, possible government position IF Dtrump actually wins during that cold day in hell, and because of her ego

KAC comes off as a smiling automoton (Stepford wife robot), who thinks she is doing a good job by parroting his insane inanities, especially deflecting by blaming HRC.  It's tiresome.  She and Chris Christie and Ghouiliani will all get blamed when Dtrump loses. Fingers crossed and ready to vote.

Seriously, do any of you think that Dtrump might fire KAC for her gaffe about the Cuban embargo?  Or is it too late in the game for him to do so?

Or will her public appearances ( and her position)  be reduced hyuuuggely?

Who's next in line to be his campaign manager?

Now I've got a feeling that the next debate will be all Hillary blame,  all the time.  So tiresome.

I don't remember...did any of the View hosts ask KAC to summarize Dtrimp's policy on ANYTHING?

KAC's relentless smiling and lack of substantive answers are only satisfying to the maroons who think that lack of information is smart leadership. And not paying taxes.  Maroons, all of them.

Do you think that Jediblahblah slapped her backstage post show?  Paula's in my good graces until the election for this, well, maybe.

If I were KAC, I'd be concerned about my position - the leaking from the tRump camp is growing to a flood.  The  two other times that this happened was just before Lewandowski was fired and then again just before Manafort was fired.

A couple more things...

I know that Agnes Nixon was a pioneer and she ABC was her home, but we also lost another great talent the same day: Gary Glasberg, current show runner of NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans. He worked on a LOT of other shows as well, and was only 50, who died suddenly in his sleep. I feel like he's the Farrah Fawcett to Nixon's Michael Jackson, whose death overshadowed Fawcett's sin 2009.

And on After show, this statement from Sara had me deskpalming myself:

"...partially gay" No, Sara. If one is gay or lesbian, they are just that. Not half gay or whatever she was saying.  And she said that her brother is gay, so I guess I expected better? It's like saying a woman is a little bit pregnant. No, she's totally pregnant. That whole conversation was infuriating.

And I loved Joy's blase attitude about not being objective.  And Paula? The reason why everyone except Jediblabla wasn't "rough" on Mook was because he ANSWERED all the questions and didn't evade, deflect or LIE. The same cannot be said of BBBB.

oh SHUT UP, Jediblabla. Where was all this outrage against BBBB yesterday when she was on the show? You just sat there and kissed her skinny rank ass.

And also SHUT UP about how Hillary "attacked" the women who slept with her husband, while she was speaking for women. False Equivalency. Look it up, since you were frothing at the mouth at being good at hard news. So glad Sunny was there to stop that nonsense. Or at least try to. And Sunny was right: Hillary is human

And Raven can also SHUT IT about not wanting to talk about this anymore. She came off as some ostrich wanting to stick her head in the sand.  And the way she kept trying to justify what Rob Kardashian said about his sister. Just...ewww. Having the SNL guys was a waste of time.

Yesterday [Thursday] I skipped the show but caught the KAC hubub on Rachel Maddow - of all places [which by the way, were her words in describing the story, lol]. She first replayed the infamous 2012 clip of Romney telling a group of donors that The View was a tricky show to go on because there is "only one conservative at the table and the others are shrill, especially Whoopi Goldberg." Then Rachel showed Whoopi being her professional self screaming at KAC, even rising out of her seat to wave her hand and point her finger in her face.  Oh and of course using the comeback, "Bull!"   Maddow also commented that, "It's very difficult to argue with Whoopi Goldberg, even if you disagree, it's still hard to argue with her."  Ha!

So even when I agree with Whoopi, I almost always find her behavior ridiculous.  And in my opinion, that showcases The Spew as a ridiculous show in general and Goldberg in particular.

Yes, the show "made sparks" on Thursday but ever notice how all their "sparks" are about the co-hosts behaving badly?  Often out of control rude either at each other or at a guest?     Personally, I prefer the organic "sparks" like last week on Morning Joe when Mike Barnicle asked Gary Johnston about his opinion about Aleppo.

Too bad Paula wasn't there to soak up the credit for getting Kellyanne Conway to step in it, lol.  She deserves a bouquet of roses and a standing ovation!

Instead we were treated to Jedidufus getting all salty about Kellyann taking a shot at The View being used as a source for "hard news." Uh, Jed ... relax.  You may think you are "hard news" but it was PAULA who actually bothered to ask Kellyanne a tough question and push for an answer.  Not your disingenuous little ass.  So have several seats and STFU.

Was anyone fooled by Jed trying to come off like she thought the issue (regarding Trump potentially talking about the Clinton's marriage) was whether it was fair to blame Hillary for Bill cheating?   Because that was complete crap.  She knows DAMN WELL that the issue is how Hillary responded to the women who were accusing him of things.  Joy points that out and Jed was like "Oh, that part (of Trump talking about it) is valid."  Then she proceeds to whip out the quote from Hillary about how victims should be believed and then list all the things Hillary reportedly said about these women (many of them private comments), all just so she could explain to everyone how Hillary is a hypocrite.   She couldn't effin' wait.  God I HATE that.  Jed knew exactly what the issue was and the whole thing about how Hillary "shouldn't be blamed" for Bill cheating was an attempt to appear "fair" so she could appear unbiased when she delivered her expose' on how horrible & terrible &awful Hillary is ... that was her real intention.

Jed, please just OWN your damn opinion.  Don't try to conceal your agenda.  You ain't that slick, girl.  No one was fooled.

All I can say is thank god for Sunny Hostin.  Bless her for being adamant and persistent in expressing her opinion about how real women would respond to what Hillary Clinton was going through.  She just refused to back down even though Jed kept pounding her meaningless point.  You know, as frustrating as it was to listen to, I am actually glad Jed went on and on because she revealed herself to be as zealous as Trump's proxies and made herself look like she might as well be on his payroll.  Because I don't know of a single person aside from the Trump mouthpieces on TV who actually give a shit about what Hillary said about her husband's side pieces. It's not even a real issue at all, except to people who want something to bash Clinton for.  Everyone else gets it.

I really hope that Donald Trump DOES get into it with Clinton about how she responded to her husband's mistresses at the next debate.  Because I want to hear her tell him that if he doesn't understand why she responded to these women the way she did, perhaps he should call up his ex-wives who HE cheated on so they can explain to him how it feels. Then maybe he will understand her reaction.

What was even more aggravating was how Jediblabla insisted the women Bill Clinton cheated with? He'd raped. No, he did not. Paula Jones accused him of sexual harrassment, but not rape. At least, I don't recall her saying that he'd raped her. Just a whole lotta women coming in after Flowers and Jones, saying they'd slept with him. One even came on 60 Minutes and she was just so damn unbelievable with the "details" about their affair.

So yeah, glad that Sunny was there to hammer it to Jediblabla, with the "wait until it happens to you and see if you DON'T blame the woman too" just to shut her ass up.

I mean, come on! How the hell does ANYONE expect someone to react towards someone who screwed their wife/husband, knowing all along that THEY WERE MARRIED?!! Become buddies? Invite them for a spa weekend? Come over for a bottle of wine and some Netflix? If you're normal, I think you would refer to them with every insulting, derogatory term you could think of. Personally, I think that Monica, Jennifer and the rest are disgusting but that's just me.

For Trump to even entertain the thought of using this in the debate just shows the depths of his desperation. Grasping doesn't even begin to cover it!! First of all, it is so irrelevant it's laughable and second, as Celia so wisely put it, what about his indiscretions?!!!! He is hardly a shining example of "family values!!!"

Here's what I don't get, NBC got a hold of the Trump campaign memo that instructed surrogates to counter the Machado fat shaming with Bill's infidelities with Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers and Monica Lewinsky and Hillary's reactions and remarks that "bullied" his ex-mistresses.  Then the surrogates (I'm looking at YOU Jediblahblah) jump to use of the term "rape accusations".  Now we've moved into Kathleen Wiley and Juanita Broaddrick territory, and are skating really close to possibly defamatory on air statements.  Why doesn't the Trump campaign understand that?  It would seem to me that throwing around rape accusations willy-nilly could lead to some legal actions.

As an aside, the name Connie Hamzy has come up again amidst all this hullabaloo.... she's the gal that said that Clinton made lewd suggestions in a hotel lobby to her - but in reality she lifted her top and flashed her ta tas at him.  Turns out?  She's the real life Sweet Sweet Connie of We're an American Band fame:

Haleth, you don't expect Jed to actually manifest the values and concerns she claims Hilary Clinton lacks in her own life, do you? Those considerations are only relevant when she can use them to bash Hilary Clinton.  They play no part in Jed's actual day-to-day existence. That stuff is only good for talking points designed to advance the interests of Donald Trump, not real life.  Stop being silly!

Saracasm aside, you actually made a very good point.  Jed had no compassion for the women at FOX who complained about Ailes.  She didn't believe them right off the bat, far from it.  She implied they were not being truthful because their experience had not been her experience.  Personally I find it easier to understand Hillary Clinton being pissed at her husband's side pieces and not buying their stories than it is to understand Jed dismissing claims of sexual harassment just because it didn't happen to her.  Hilary's reaction seems like a reasonable and totally understandable emotional response, but Jed dismissal of the women who accused Ailes comes across as insensitive, self-centered, and egotistical as hell.

Move over, Raven and Paula.  Jed just took the spot at the top of my Most Hated Panelist list.

I wish someone could explain to me how Trump thinks he has any right to bring up anyone's infidelities considering his own history.    And I can only imagine what Elisabeth's reaction would be to all of this.  She is the one who had the opinion if a man cheated on his wife then he was unfit to be president.  But she made an exception for her buddy John McCain.  I don't know why the View keeps discussing this election.  The viewers all know which co-hosts are going to defend Trump and criticize Hillary and vice versa.  I love a good political discussion but the View doesn't offer up anything even close to that.

Because she's Latina herself, and that's the way it's pronounced. Or as most people I know would say "with an American accent."

Not that I have any language skills, but I can attest to what both Apprentice79 and GHScorpiosRule are saying about accents.  My kids were in Spanish immersion in pre-k and through elementary and middle school and mostly first learned how to read in Spanish even though their native language is English.  To this day... when they encounter new written words they are often pronounced in Spanish and it's pretty funny when they come up with some doozy verb conjugations in English.

Interesting that Cuba and The View seem to intersect here and there.

Kudos to Paula Faris for extracting that information from KAC. Showing her newsperson chops right there.

Does anyone remember when Barbara Walters went to Cuba and interviewed Fidel Castro? I believe it was either in her book or in an interview she mentioned seeing major league baseball teams honchos in Cuba doing a scouting and recruiting trip for Cuban players. She said IIRC that she didn't talk to them because she didn't want to take away from her Castro interview. Not realizing that she was exposing federally banned travel for business being committed by the teams.

Also when non-english speakers are speaking their native tongue and they say an english word, they will usually pronounce it with an American accent (even if they dont speak english) .

Jedi is just too f-ing fake--when it comes to everything. I can't stand her. She didn't say a damn thing during that interview yesterday. Her tongue was too far up Conway's ass to ask anything. I'm glad Sunny smacked her down on her ridiculous, try-hard BS about Hillary's feelings/responses towards the women Bill cheated on her with years ago. I'm hoping she and her fellow Republicans ('cause, no, Jedi, I still don't believe your claims to be Libertarian) keep on keeping on with that line of thinking, because I have a feeling that tack won't get the reactions they're expecting... I guess we can thank Whoopi's daily harassment of Paula last season for getting this repulsive, disingenuous asshole in her place. Paula served the same misogyny and Trump-loving trash as Jedi, but unlike Jedi she never pretended to be anything other than what she was. And she actually managed to still be somewhat nice and likable in spite of it.

Raven is so delusional, I swear. If you don't like talking about politics, GTFO this show! Did you not even know what The View was before Disney called you up with a new career opportunity? Go on The Real or The Talk where they talk tedious, inconsequential topics nonstop. But--no--the reason that would never happen is because you are and were never qualified for a talkshow and only got a job here because of Disney connections. And nobody will be sorry to see your irrelevant ass go. I just knew we would get a Kardashian topic because of Raven, since it always seems to come up whenever she's at the table. If this is your idea of an alternative to the politics, Raven, then--again--GTFO. I'm glad Joy gives all the rudeness right back to her, but still mostly ignores her and doesn't let that spoiled brat derail the show.

I loved the interview with the Weekend Update guys from SNL; they were hilarious. I'm so looking forward to SNL's return. Most of their political comedy last season was gold.

I would like to go on the View and tell every politician to shut the fuck up.  Seriously, don't we all hate the campaign ads that contain nothing but negativity?  Don't we hate the talking heads who can't answer a simple question but just turn to blasting the other candidate?   I don't care one bit about emails, tax forms and all that BS.  I'm concerned with We The People and what those candidates are going to do for US.  How are you going to protect We The People?  How are you going to bring new jobs? How are you going to improve the rapidly declining education system in this country?  How are you going to help senior citizens and the disabled?  How will you stop US companies from sending all the jobs to Mexico and China?  When are you going to stop being the police for the entire world and start taking care of ALL We The People?

They better never let me be a moderator of a debate because I'd be kicking the asses of both of them.  If they don't answer a question I ask, they get hit in the ass with a cattle probe.  If they go off track with questions, another zap from the probe.  But people who ask the questions, even the View babes, never have the balls to get into their faces and force them to answer the questions without blasting the other candidate.

Yeah, I was pretty annoyed Paula wasn't there and we had to deal with the Jedi-troll yet again. Paula has always been on Friday's and now we can't even get away from Jedi on Friday's either.

Paula is at her college reunion this weekend per her twitter. She wasn't on Weekend GMA this morning either.

And Raven can also SHUT IT about not wanting to talk about this anymore. She came off as some ostrich wanting to stick her head in the sand.

Maybe she finally woke up and saw that Johnson is an idiot.  If you haven't seen the Libertarian Party's rally, you must look it up.  It's like comic con.

I don't know where you live @TheGreenKnight but you just got a high five from the Detroit area!

I do remember that whole interview.  Didn't it go on for more then one show?  Anyways she did say he was charming.  Oh Babs, you little vamp you.

EXACTLY!!!  Furthermore, any woman that defends a POS like Trump has sold her soul, woman card & any courage of her convictions she may have had.

I hope she is getting paid upfront because he may not pay her at all if she doesn't get him elected!

To be honest with you, I am surprised that Trump has hired Conway for such a key role in his pursuit of the presidency.  He is all about the superficial and she so often appears on television looking unkempt. I'm surprised that someone doesn't pull her aside and talk to her about that. I saw her on one of the news shows and she looked frazzled and her hair the same. She just doesn't come across as polished in any way. I know she is supposed to be a rabid bulldog type for his constituency but she needs to fix herself up. Most of the time she just comes across as crazed.

When he loses we'll probably hear PLENTY about her looks...and more
