Your family and friends are over this wedding already and the invitations haven't even gone out. Get over yourself and have the wedding at some nice reception hall or historic home in Chatanaooga so it's convienent for people.

I kept trying to count the dogs in Amber's house but always lost track. Poor Leah. She really wanted ice cream. Me too kid, me too. Only two houses flipped? I'm actually surprised it is that high. 

 

That at was a beautiful location Maci found. Of course if she actually had her wedding there (is she married or still engaged?), it is no longer beautiful in my eyes. The sales rep just screamed pageant girl to me. Massive baby bump Maci for just learning you are pregnant. Smh. 

Oh Catelynn and Tyler. I love pigs and always wanted one as a kid. I was cheering for it to get free. Someone pointed it out last episode, Tyler is getting chubby. I definitely noticed it tonight. And the Easter bunny. With the pants on backwards. Still makes me giggle. I hate how they are trying to claim anxiety and depression because they are "trendy" concepts and they probably think they will get extended shelf life of fame. I'm not saying she doesn't suffer from it all but something just always rubs me wrong about it. Probably Tyler. I think I always see dollar signs flashing through his eyes when they talk about this stuff.

I just don't think that would be fun. And I kind of knew they were going to get a pet at the end of it. I had a feeling. If only because I figured Leah would be upset and since Amber more than likely doesn't know how to handle tantrums she would give in.  Leah didn't even have to make a scene, it was all Amber. 

I kind of love that the cat likes neither of them. Like I said that cat is a scared animal and I think Ambers house is to chaotic for this poor cat. I love animals but I would only take a scared animal like that if I didn't have any others. Like I said earlier, these girls just have too much loose money to throw around on things like pigs and cats. And wedding venues!

Watching this week's episode, it's really hard to see where any of them have grown.  They really act like Jr high students.  

Question: how come all these "women" tell Dr. Drew they are on birth control at the end of each season, yet somebody is always pregnant by the next season.  I don't see where any of them really learned from their first pregnancy.  The only way I see this show as preventing teen pregnancy is most of today's teens have enough savvy to not want to look that stupid!  

Please tell me that Catelynn's facial sores aren't drug related.  I get so frustrated with the producers being enablers.  How many times have we watched as they film, and air, these arrested development young people doing harmful or illegal things.  I don't have trouble with pot, but Cait is in serious emotional trouble, and they all just sit there filming her.  I would feel much more confident that this show was trying to be educational if they would pull the plug on filming until the girl/family in question gets their act together.  Amber, Cait, Janelle, Leah... how high will the count go?  

Farrah brought her true colors out in full force this week.  I'm sorry, but if she were my child, she and I would have had a serious cometojesus moment a long time ago.  No way would I be filmed with her.  She treats everyone, including her own daughter, like they are port a potties, when she is the one who is a mess and dumb as a knob, to boot.  The way she butchers the English language makes me cringe.  

What's that saying about putting lipstick on a pig?  I think it applies to the whole lot.  Proof that throwing money at a problem will not fix it.

@MyPeopleAreNordic  I agree about destination weddings. You're cutting a lot of people out right away. Maci can possibly afford to bring all her friends and family there, but if she expects them to pay for the trip themselves, some of them might not go just to spite her. lol. My husband's friend is still pissed off at us for not going to his wedding (from Oklahoma) in Las Vegas TEN years ago. Not only could we not afford it, but I was 31 weeks pregnant and had had my labour stopped twice already. Gawd, we're a pair of horrible bastards.

Between the pig and Cate, Tyler's apparently getting into livestock farming (sorry, couldn't resist!). I'm so glad my mom wasn't some junkie whore growing up and would happily smack the shit out of me if I smoked weed in front of her, car or no. 

Maci and her product-placement destination wedding in swamp country. In October. It's a little precious to have such a production when she's on her second kid with this guy already. I would definitely raise an eyebrow to that invitation and wonder what's wrong with the church down the street and if they wouldn't have her.

Is there any animal now that doesn't qualify as a "rescue?" I thought people weren't supposed to buy animals from pet shops like that specifically because they aren't "rescues." Whatever.

Maci is still as fake as can be. All this hemming and hawing over her $20,000 venue. "I just really love it" - "But the price is pretty high" - "But there's no more perfect place for a dream wedding" - "Yea, it's just the cost...hmmmm". Bitch, you know MTV is going to bankroll this entire wedding. That's why Taylor looks so happy to be planning it. That's why he proposed in the first place! More screen time. 

That venue WAS nice. But I can't see spending that much on a location. I wouldn't even spend that much on an entire wedding. But that's just me. Lord knows what her dress will cost. 

Speaking of - I really don't see the point of trying on dresses now. Her body is going to look so different after she has the baby. Why not just wait? And, damn did her mother look uncomfortable as hell. She hasn't appeared on camera in years. Maci could have done dress shopping privately, to honor her mother, but that's not the famewhore way. You can tell that woman is so over the charade. 

 

Well, Farrah was in rare form tonight. She's baaaack! No more soft, amenable Farrah. First she's forcing her sick child to go to an Easter Egg hunt, then she's calling her "stupid" because she's acting out. Sophia looked so sad in those scenes. I think she just wanted her mommy to stay home and take care of her. 

Then she's bitching at Simon literally from the moment she picked him up at the airport. I don't like Simon, but damn. That dude can't do anything right. NO one can, really. Farrah has impossibly high standards. Don't shit in her house. Don't walk on her bedroom carpet with shoes. Don't ask if dogs can go on the trampoline. Actually, don't ask ANY question, ever - because it will surely be "stupid". That bitch is exhausting, and I guarantee she will never be able to maintain a long term relationship. 

Also, was she wearing a dead rabbit to go to the Easter egg hunt????

 

All I can say for Amber is a big ol WTF that she bought a freaking cat, when they already have a confirmed SEVEN animals living in her house. Are they trying to match up the number of Matt's abandoned children??? No wonder she keeps getting sick. A slaughter house is probably more sanitary than her home. (And 50% of that is because Matt's living there.)

 

Speaking of animals - Cate got a pig. Okay, I know that was a colossally stupid thing to do, but I loved it just for the fact that she did it without asking Tyler and it made him SO mad. Hey, dude, all that money you have is because of Cate being a "Teen Mom", so don't forget it. Quit bitching to your new friend Quasimodo and maybe get a real job. 

But yea, Cate is really spiraling out of control. She's impulsive and her moods are swinging wildly. Was she smoking weed when she covered the car cameras? That cough sounded like the first inhale of some pot. That is NOT okay when driving. And something happened in the night, the night she brought the pig home. I don't know what it was. It was hard to tell over the music MTV was playing, but they obviously had the house mic'd over night. The way Nova cried out like that, it was shock. It wasn't a normal baby waking up in the night cry. Something happened that scared or hurt her. I know that kind of cry. It almost sounded like there was a crash or thump before it, but again, hard to tell with the soundtrack. 

I don't know what's going on, but there's more than they're saying. There's a reason MTV time stamped the night. Tyler was really really quiet when Cate was explaining what happened. She kept repeating that she was a bad mom. Something happened during that night that precipitated her getting help, and it wasn't just having a good crying "breakdown". I can't really speculate any further, but I feel they are keeping back what really went down. 

And now the pig is gone. One night and it's gone to a different home. I cannot stand people who think animals are disposable. Just pick one up on a whim, ship it off somewhere else if it gives you any trouble. Grrrrr

Catelynn just shared an in instagram post defending her pothead tendencies with a Bob Marley quote. If she wants to smoke, that's all fine and good, but most people have a problem with it because she's toking up WHILE DRIVING. The sweatshirt and Post-It note don't hide it, Cate. She's still an idiot for blazing it on TV for two reasons; pot is illegal in Michigan, and she's broadcasting it to Brandon and Teresa---the two people she's desperate to appease in order to see Carly. Maybe this will convince them to restrict even more access lest they risk Carly interacting with Cate and Tyler after they've hit the bong one two many times before a visit. I know they feel for Catelynn, but their sympathy can only go so far. 

Also, Cate and Ty are showing Carly how dysfunctional and chaotic her life would've been like if they had kept her. I know we don;t know how Carly will ultimately feel towards her birth parents, but this show is really making it easy for her to not want anything to do with them or their families. I mean, birth mom smoking weed while driving? Birth father ranting and raving like a lunatic? Birth sister completely unattended? Nobody could blame Carly if she wanted nothing to do with her bio family if they don't change their behavior and soon. 

Also, I agree with @ghoulina that something huge happened to make Catelynn decide to go to Arizona. Something that we were not privy to see. I bet that Tyler really let her have it after he finally saw the pig and it just broke her completely. He was sitting in the chair when Cate was crying to the producer, not saying anything but looking at them very intently, almost as if he was making sure that Catelynn wouldn't spill the beans about his involvement. He has a very controlling nature. It was pretty uncomfortable, honestly. And I loved how neither Carly nor the adoption were mentioned in this episode after Tyler went on and on last week about not silencing his voice. Dude stuck his tail between his legs and went after an easier target instead---Catelynn.

I trule believe Farrah and Simon are the great love story of our times. Nothing says tenderness like berating him while he scans his phone inattentively. Best line of the night was "It's actually in your car," I loved it. "You should shut the fuck up Simon, it's appreciative." There's no way where she was saying "To shut the fuck up in this situation demonstrates that you appreciate I'm driving," which is what that means, right? I don't get what was going on with the easter egg hunt, or why she thought Simon would involve himself more (I know what he's doing there, getting paid, but what did she expect?). You have drinks, other parents, he's using his socialism skills...what was he supposed to do, run through the grass and find eggs? It was sort of sad watching her really, really angrily flail that insane stick around while children are nearby. Most pinatas now have that string you pull to get the candy out after the kids are done, and so did that one (it was dangling by it), but she was like "Fuck that, I'm going to hit something." It looked like a native american warclub, too, I mean isn't a wiffle ball bat usually enough?  Also, only on this show could Farrah get out of last week's episode opening with her colonoscopy and her mom's exploding asshole (Thanks Deb!) and have it NOT have it be the hilarious lead. I hope Simon went in Farah's master bath, snorted some coke and took a shit without flushing it. 

Maci's mom's eternal sideye was basically the tits. Good for her. And Maci's a good object lesson for unmarried girls getting gigantic and unrelated back tats. You can't go backless dress then, because that mess is in every picture of the ceremony. Or I guess you could cover them, but then why get them? I know someone who had these really cool butterfly tattoos on her back, they looked great in the pictures, and another who had a tree with leaves blowing away, same thing, but they were beautiful tats that weren't a mish mash. But then I guess it's not like there's a laundry list of great decisions with this lady, so that's the least of the issue.

Cate smoking pot while driving, I mean that's actionable somewhere, isn't it? For fuck's sake, she's got a baby, I don't believe for one second she hasn't done that with the baby in the car. And getting a pig doesn't make your life Chelsea, sorry.

Maci's mom was the true champion of tonight's episode. I loved how she seemed more excited about the friends' potential bridesmaids' dresses than she did about anything Maci put on. I don't know if she was displeased with being filmed, displeased with her daughter's stupidity, or both, but it was great. You could cut the tension between Maci and Sharon with a knife.

Interesting. I thought someone said they have seen pics of the pig on April's social media, though. Hmmmm. Whatever happened, the pig wasn't there in the morning, Cate looked hysterical, Tyler was the picture of a serial killer trying to keep calm, and Nova cried out in fear/pain in the night.

Hate to say this but if Cate doesn't watch out, she is going to end up just like her mom. She's looking like the Meth heads that come in the convenience store where I work part time. And the smoking pot isn't helping her out with getting out of bed or eating. And her smoking pot to ease her nerves isn't working either because she lives with Butch Jr.

Now that's real fucking life. I don't have money for plastic surgery, pot, drugs or pigs. 

Also Cate really needs to get her shit together because to me she's headed onto worse drugs if she doesn't continue to get help. First she eats to soothe her Tyler nerves and now she's smoking it up because of her Tyler nerves. And Tyler is one step away from being on Snapped and in prison just like his father.

April apparently does have the pig and named it pickle.  I lost any hope for that loser after seeing how jolly she was about smoking on the road with her daughter. Btw, why the hell were they picking up a pig late at night? And from where? It looked like a bus station. Do pigs take greyhound now?

No idea what happened during the night, but wouldn't be surprised if Tyler, Cate, or both snapped and smacked Nova, or the pig, or both. Cate sure was convinced the next morning that she was a terrible parent. At least we didn't see Tyler making a pork roast.

Yes,  yes!  I actually said out loud,  why is he in the front seat?  

I'm with everyone else,  I don't care if people smoke weed, but to do it while driving is crazy and to do it on camera while driving is insane. 

Of course there was a huge fight at Cate and Tyler's .  Even the producer knew it. 

Amber is just annoying.   Alll those animals that she doesn't take care of.  Does she walk them?  Play in the back yard with them.  Or do they just crawl all over her as she lounges. Gotta say - I give Gary A LOT of credit for riding out the crazy train of Amber. I even liked seeing him laughing about the vats of icing on the cinnamon buns (I know, don't eat them all, and please keep consistent eyebrows). He played with her for a long time, but when it came time to step up, he took on raising Leah like a champ. He even moved on with a pretty maternal and kind seeming gal. He also seems to be living in a modest home, not cluttered with animals he has no interest in. I just hope now that Leah is in school he takes on something greater in life than baking (and eyebrow shaving). Wasn't he an LPN? At least he can support a family in dirt cheap Indiana if he's securing a home.  I don't see him doing much with his money besides just living.

So Amber went to the hospital? On her one day with Leah. Was that a way to get out of the visit, or a drug grab? Next thing you know the happy couple will be paying a visit to C&T's roach tray. I can totally picture the 4 of them in a smoke filled room extolling the virtues of "nature".

This right here. While I'm not a pot smoker, I'm a huge advocate for decriminalizing it nationwide. And I also firmly believe that cannabis oil has crazy healing powers and people should not be punished for using it for themselves or their children. However, like with anything, it affects different people differently. It might calm Cate down a bit, but I don't think it's having a lasting effect on her, and it seems to be calming her too much. She needs to be able to function. She generally looks nearly comatose on the show. She needs to find something that calms the anxiety, but keeps her functional. Maybe she's using too much? But at this point her body is too used to it, so there's no going back.

I'm actually not a huge fan of prescription medication myself. But I recognize that in some situations, for some people, there are no other answers. But if Cate does want to try natural remedies, there are other options besides pot. To me, this all just sounds like excuses being made for an unhealthy dependency. Besides, if they were all about "nature" why do they ingest so many artificial food products???

Catelynn and her mother were not smoking pot. They were smoking another drug (meth?). With the amount of cannabis Catelynn smokes on a regular day, she wouldn't cough like that. The mere fact Catelynn brought that pig into her fucked up life is enough to anger me a hundred times over.  Catelynn looks as if she can't muster the energy to shower or wipe her ass after taking a dump. I tried to give Catelynn the benefit of the doubt, especially when it seemed so few of us were not on the compassion train. I kept going back to the information that was released about their partying ways and their pot smoking. I just can't with people who try to play the sympathy card or play on people's emotions. That is what Tyler and Cate have done all along IMO. Cate is responsible for her actions and choices. I will never be convinced she never drove while high with her child in the car. The same holds for Tyler. Those two are probably getting high as soon as they are coming down from getting high.  THC is running rampant in their systems at all hours of the day and night.

What good is it for Cate to go get "help" a la Leah Messer if all she is doing is returning to a home where Tyler is the same prick. He is still lighting up. He is the same person she  married. She is also defending her pot smoking on her social media page and posts she hates Xanax? Bye bitch. There is nothing wrong with the occasional pot smoking while being responsible but, I have a problem with it when people lie about having depression to cover up their lazy and lethargic ways. I really have a problem with it when they are also putting children and animals in harm's way. Does Catelynn have to harm Nova or an animal before it is realized she is a shitty person?

I wonder if whatever therapist Catelynn saw/sees informed her of the first rule of dealing with anxiety and depression: Keeping moving, even if you don't feel like it. Open the blinds, get dressed, try to go do something. Anything (except smoking meth or pot). Join a class with her daughter, or get a part time job. Anything that gives her a reason to get dressed and go somewhere. It is completely unhealthy that she's sitting her ass on the couch while cameras just film her all day. Sitting around just makes her more anxious and depressed, especially when she's sitting there with a camera crew going over and over how depressed and unhappy she is.

I can't say I agree with the idea that they were smoking anything more nefarious than pot. Smoking meth, I believe, takes two hands and way more concentration than just passing a joint back and forth. I mean neither is smart, but one's WAY more complicated than the other. And I can't say that she fits the physical mold of meth addict, or that she has a bunch of other warning signs. She's not skittish or maniacally active, she's sluggish, way more like a pothead. I think even here it's a good idea to take it easy on the implications...

I don't smoke pot and I'm not on any kind of medication, so I don't know which one is better for Catelynn. But it's something that she needs to work through. Smoking weed even after being told that it counteracts her antidepressants along with Tyler urging Cate to wean herself off her meds aren't good signs. I doubt she can do both because, like I said before, the weed and the medication don't mix and probably leave her feeling worse than if she was on one or the other. 

The driving while high is crazy, though, and illegal as all hell. I guess she covered the camera so she can argue that she was smoking cigarettes if she ever gets in trouble for it. As I've said before, she should cut back on toking up on camera so that she won't get in trouble with Brandon and Teresa. They only film once or twice a month, and they surely know when the producers are coming over. But here they are, smoking weed while driving and asking each other where the roaches are. They really do think they're infallible.

As Uncle Juice replied up thread, I don't think they were smoking meth either. Cate would be a lot thinner if so (not trying to shade Cate's weight) and she'd hardly be laying around like a sloth (not to say she'd be productive, but she wouldn't be so stationary).

Re: Amber's illness and the hospital

Look, I agree in a normal situation that if someone is sick enough to have to go to the hospital, kids shouldn't be around them, so I get the idea of Amber not getting Leah that night. It's better for Leah not to be exposed to the illness and for Amber to rest instead of trying to take care of a child while very sick.

HOWEVER, let me point out that there are no "off days" when you're a parent. If you get sick, you still have to care for your kid or hope you have a partner or family member who can do so. I'm not saying Amber should have taken Leah even though she was ill, BUT I am saying this chick basically has the ability to "call in sick" to work as a parent.....and most of us don't have that. Amber really is just a fun aunt. (I hope what I'm saying makes sense. I'm glad Leah stayed with Gary and wasn't exposed to Amber's illness or Matt in general that night, but I also hope Amber realizes calling in sick to parenting is a luxury she's able to have thanks to Gary & Kristina doing most of the hard work of parenting Leah. She owes them every last penny of child support.)

I say something evil went down after the MTV crew left for the night.  I believe Tyler went all postal and possibly beat her and that woke up and scared Nova.  She probably got rid of that pig fast so Tyler wouldn't kill it.  Brandon and Theresa...CLOSE THE ADOPTION...NOW!!!

That, or maybe the pig bit Nova or snapped at her and scared her? My son is just a few months older than Nova and I know having a pig around him would be a disaster. He doesn't understand the concept of gentle and would have chased that poor pig down.
