And I think Wellington's reopened as well.

@Zella is Arkansas allowing dining-in now?

Yes restaurants were allowed to reopen this week but with a lot of restrictions, including only 25% capacity, masks while you wait, reservations recommended, and mandatory sanitizing after each customer. I know a couple of restaurants have not been able to meet the requirements.

Personally, I think it is too soon, and I wonder if they'll make enough money to justify being open.

Josie is such an untidy, neglected mess. Any normal parent would wash her dirty hands and run a comb through her hair before taking a picture to post online. It’s not even one of those cutesy “Ha, ha, look at the mess our little mischief maker got into!” photos some parents love to post; she just looks grubby, like she hasn’t had a bath in a week.

Oh, good grief. They're following j&J and the other daughters down the road of "engage your followers with a closing question"!

Please. We know you're not even slightly interested in anything anybody else has to say......

Compared to "duggarfam," your Duggarling daughters and husbands are extremely interested in the thoughts of readers......And they're "interested" only because it gets their "engagement" numbers up......

This flood of phony non-question questions all over their social media is kinda sickening to me. I don't need to see any additional evidence of how frigging phony they all are. And how all any of them ever does is try to get more fame so they can get more money.

I like chocolate sauce on my potato. With a dash of chili powder.

This x a million. Followers think their idols truly want to hear their opinions, but for the influencer it's all about engagement, clicks and traffic. I unfollowed a lifestyle vlogger after she asked her followers how they clean their mirrors. I mean, really? The whole thing is so fake and disingenuous.

so where are the apple laptops in the upstairs "school room' shown on tv??

a crap monitor and an old keyboard with a cartoon algebra game on the kitchen counter?

sure they are learning something - how to pose for followers.

jackson is 16 and just learning algebra??

he should meet whichever JRod boy "studying algebra late at night"

I don't think the boys are allowed laptops. Only the girls. Boys can't be trusted with internet access alone.

get all that, but shown on TV their "school room" with computers.

so the monitor, super old keyboard on the kitchen counter is strange

Maybe because the four older girls could keep an eye on things before? Who is still in school now? James, Jackson, Tyler, Johannah, Jenny, Jordyn and Josie?

I'd rather be in the kitchen, the schoolroom was a windowless nook and the hallway.

I don’t think there is any sort of hidden motive as to why the computer is in the kitchen... maybe they like it because it’s centrally located and has more space? Remember Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn and Josie are all around the same ages the 4 older girls were when THEY started teaching  their younger siblings. I’m willing to bet their homeschooling is a lot more lax

Apparently it’s teachingtexbooks.com they are using. His hat is hiding if it’s algebra 1, or algebra 2.

Well, they chose a good program that includes clear and thorough explanations then. That's something......Although of course it's possible they only "chose"  it because  somebody they know was  reselling it way cheap. 😃

I just watched a good and hilarious youTube review of that company's programs, which are specifically designed for people who are learning on their own....i.e., their moms are not going to try to "teach" math beyond about the fourth-grade level.

The mom warns that, although she thinks it's an excellent program for learning math, there are several things that make it possible for unwatched kids to totally game the problem sets, tests and grades.

Her son went through 60 lessons of algebra II (about half the year's course) with flying colors before she realized that he'd figured out how to cheat and wasn't actually learning anything at all. So he had to start all  over from  the beginning. In the end, it took him two years to get through algebra II and on the second pass she had to supervise him carefully.

She explains what  the -- numerous -- gaming tricks are to warn other unwary parents...Which include herself, it turns out, because after the algebra II debacle, she discovered that another of her kids was doing the same thing with algebra I.....

I suppose at the TTH, though,  cheating your way through half a year's worth of math tests and homework would be viewed as super-valuable practice in those most prized of lifeskills -- cutting corners and grifting.

Yep, as a kid, my nephew asked for a 'baby in a backpack' for Christmas because he was fascinated by the neighbor who took walks with his infant daughter strapped in one.  He called his baby 'Joey' and took him almost everywhere for a while.   Not gay, just a kid interested in emulating grownups he liked.

The Duggars just don't understand that having a variety of experiences and trying out different roles is a part of growing up into a well rounded adult.

Even if they did understand this, Duggars don’t want their kids well rounded. Well brainwashed, yes. Well rounded and broad minded, no.

That is the cutest story about your nephew @doodlebug.

I can just picture him going about his business with Joey in his backpack.

My son was fascinated with his grandmother's purses (or 'Pocket-purses' as he referred to them, combining words 'pocket books' & 'purses') when he was a little guy. She let him play with a few of her older ones.  He would load them up with all his valuables & was as happy as could be.

That would definitely not be Duggar approved.

My friends and I used to dress my younger brother up in dresses and makeup and have fashion shows. He loved it. And he's the straightest guy in the world (and laughs at old pictures of our dress up). The Duggars will never understand that boys and girls can experiment with all kinds of things and it doesn't make them gay or straight or anything they aren't. It makes me sad for any of the kids who have questions or curiosity or artistic instincts or even might be gay. They'll spend their whole lives trying to quash that because they've been taught it's wrong.

That's what the youngest grandson did.  He found an old purse and toted his cars and trucks around in it.  I found a bag in Claire's that had his initial in Pink!  Got it for him, he was thrilled, we called it his "murse" and he dragged that around for a while.  He was around 2.  Then one day he didn't want it anymore.
