While they haven't changed the ages in my state, 16 - permit and 16 1/2 for license, they have tightened up restrictions. All drivers must take drivers ed, parents have to attend 2 classes and drivers under 18 can only drive non-licensed folks who are family.

For those in the Southern states who have not been exposed to farm vehicles, I think 14 is too young. I wouldn't want to be sharing a road with a 14 year old driving a 2 ton vehicle, Yikes.

I don't know who it is, but I'm sure he washes dishes. And probably aspires to be an earth-moving equipment operator/preacher-missionary. With a ministry.

Plus he is sweet, precious, loves the Lord, has a servants heart and would make a swell husband for some lucky girl.  Insert name here.

Suitable for a birthday message for the next strapping duggar lad.

Justin has always appeared the least Duggar looking and acting.  He showed some spunk.  Also, he is the only Duggar boy who does not slick back his bangs, fundie style.

Oh, stop getting my hopes up that there's a rebel in the crowd. ;-)

I'm just hoping for an Alyssa Bates type rebel AKA pants wearer, etc., not Patty Hearst.

Unless there is a special need, which they deny, there is no need for a child this old to be playing in her food.

What is going on with Johannah? She suddenly looks like one of those twin boys, Jer? Weird

I KNOW, RIGHT? She looks like Josiah's clone, and one of those twins.

Josie is the first one I think who looks like Michelle.

Josie is way too old to be sticking her grimy hands in food like that. They need to have that kid evaluated.

Or maybe just parent her. Teach her that it is inconsiderate, gross and unsanitary to dig your fingers in non-finger food. Now that the Sister Moms are fleeing, those Lost Girls are becoming as wild as the Howler Boys.

Canned fruit cocktail and applesauce at a party?  Sort of odd.  Give Josie a toddler spoon!

Well I am glad you said what it was, I could not tell. On my cell it looked liked cream of chicken soup which makes absolutely no sense for the reception. Applesauce is not much better, but they may have given it to her because she wanted some not because it was served at the reception.

She is 7. No special needs. She should be able to eat with a normal spoon and fork, probably be able to handle a butter/rounded table knife.

I'm still stunned that there is a Justin.

And since their cutlery is plastic, which is lighter, she should definitely be able to handle them.

If this picture is from the after party, she should also have shoes on.  How did her hair get that disheveled? I'm thinking the poor thing probably didn't have anyone to help her change out of her wedding outfit. I'm sure she had to fend for herself in the communal clothes closet rather than someone thinking ahead & having an outfit ready for her to change into left in the dorm room.

I can even give some wiggle room on no shoes in her own home. She's 7, she's going to see it as her comfort zone more than a party venue. But yeah, those Lost girls are on the verge of feral. Except Jenny. She seems smart, or at least a Jessa Jr who will stand up for herself.

It's awful that (in a household with 18 older siblings, two parents, one grandparent and three (now four) siblings-in-law) the idea that no one has actually taught Josie to use a fork, spoon and knife is a best case scenario.

Plus, if she really isn't delayed, it seems to suggest pretty firmly that no one actually eats in that house, they just graze constantly. Otherwise by 7, Josie should have gotten spoon usage just by watching.

Not to mention a multiple Mother-of-the-Year honoree.

It's really another great example of their lack of filter as to what they post...I mean, if you know (which I presume they must) that there's a sizable faction out there who worries that your child is delayed while you insist otherwise, WHY would your choice of pictures to post of a big family event include one of said child knuckle-deep in applesauce as though it was finger-paint?

Maybe if Josie actually had a utensil at her disposal she'd use it, nothing in sight.  Just someone ready to take her picture.  Since JB and Michelle have run out of babies maybe Josie is the designated infant for the next 10 years.

It looked to me like Josie's doing a manicure soak. Still unacceptable.

That is what I thought, as well.  And she certainly knows how to smile for the camera and pose.  It is always the same smile with tilted head.

Looking at the pile in the bowl next to her, it looks like canned fruit cocktail that they've drained and put the juice into that bowl Josie has her hands in.

Whatever Josie and friends are doing, and whether it's playing, a sensory disorder, etc., it is absolutely inappropriate behavior from 7 year olds at a wedding party.  Josie, etc., (who knows who else was in on it, too), is a child. Children need supervision. She is never supervised. Mother Of The Year (Again).

And then to post a picture of it. So bizarre what they decide to put on public display.  Always such an odd assortment of perfectly staged scenes and random strange moments.

That's what I thought, only they used Palmolive, not pineapple.  I thought she was playing manicure....but at the same time, I thought it was gross

I guess she hasn't quite gotten down the raised eyebrow look yet (like Jill does.)

I think Josie's been taught from birth, both directly and subliminally, that PR ops are the meaning of her life. This they would teach. Using a spoon, fork and knife -- or not playing manicure (or pedicure) with your afternoon snack -- not so much.

That's because she's Jenni.

I thought it was Jordyn too.  Why isn't Mer wearing a modesty shirt under her dress?  She is a chunky little one. Takes after her father.

Has anyone figured out how the Buddy Teams are falling now that three girls are out of the house? Or is it just a free for all now.

I feel like it's been a free for all for awhile now (sadly)

I think there is something off in Izzy's photos. He usually has a blank-ish, unsure expression. Even the above photo. It's my experience that children at that age usually have expressions of unbridled joy and excitement whether playing with a toy car or the laces on a shoe.

Izzy's constant expression of "what" is a little concerning to me.

My brother was known for his "vacant (insert last name here) stare". It was a running joke in pictures. "Everyone looks nice but (brother ) has the vacant (last name) stare". Not that we can expect much from poor Iz who will be limited in options but said brother has a PhD in Chemistry and has done pretty well for himself.

Yes, my older son was much the same way. He often seemed to be disconnected. But in reality he was often just working out all his surroundings in his mind. He ended up doing 10 years in the Marines and is now pulling in a hefty salary in the civilian sector working in counter-cyber-espionage, so no concerns about his mental capacity! LOL He did, however, go through a few bouts of depression since fairly early in his childhood. At lest he didn't have to pray them away.

All that being said, Iz doesn't strike me as either hyper-analytical or depressive. I think I commented on another thread here recently about how Spurge always seems so much more there in pictures than Iz. I guess there really is no way to know for certain without actually knowing the kid, but give his background and gene-pool it just seems more likely that he's somewhat dull than quietly ruminative.
