Ha! I was able to say the same thing. Still not quite as bad as dumb dumb Jessa’s feral kids.

Jessa has to look after 5, and doesn't do a great job. Amy has just the one who runs circles around her. She'd be even more of a mess with another.

I think they're both shitty mothers in their own ways.

I wonder if Amy‘s mom has any money? Maybe she inherited from her mother. I can totally see them all living together because grandma believes he’s the second coming too.

Amy desperately needs another child to focus on, or at least preschool for a little bit of time away from her and grandma. But I don’t think she has any intentions of doing either.

My God, there's a video of Daxxxy handling two chef's knives at once cutting up potatoes.

As I said before, accident waiting to happen.

What's with this kid and knives?  And what's up the the "adult" in the room?  This is just very strange.  I hope I don't see him on the ID channel in a few years.

I just watched it. “Daxxy” insisted that he make french fries, with absolutely NO help. So they just listened to him. Grr. Anyway, he cut the potatoes into little small pieces, not even French fries. And he was putting them in the bowl with the two knives instead of just using his hands. He was given a choice of how to cook them and he said air fryer. Why does this kid have so many free choices in life? He is going to be very entitled when he grows up. And it’s going to be a big slap in the face to him to find out the world doesn’t love him like mom and grandma (and Jesus).

I’m surprised Amy is homeschooling. I had her more pegged for the “outside evil World” life. After all, she wanted to be famous, and even did a stupid reality show about marriage Boot Camp. Maybe when he gets a little older she won’t be able to take him anymore and send him to school. she’s always shopping with cousin Jill, who sends her kids to school. Maybe she’ll get some advice.

If so it's hard to imagine she has much left given how much she's given Amy. Amy's bleeding her dry.

So am I. I figured she would because she's "better" then her cousins and also she's so lazy I can't imagine her picking homeschool over dumping him at school for eight hours.

"He doesn't let us help?"

He's a child who doesn't understand what real danger is, being raised by parents who aren't giving him any safety guidelines.  Does he get to cross busy streets by himself too because he won't let his parents hold his hands?  My gosh.  Your young child wielding two sharp knives isn't some kind of flex, Amy!  Are they scared of what might happen if they tried to take them away from him??

He probably doesn’t want to go to school. Amy most likely lets him watch a video and that’s the schooling for the day. Plus he has his modeling career that would interfere with school. Was Amy homeschooled?

Also, the school would not let him bring knives to school.  I'll bet he could be a terror with scissors--even the round-tip ones.  I think he would have a whole lot of trouble following any rules, and the teachers would get no support from his parents.  I have had kids like that in school.  I was so, so happy when summer arrived.

Amy went to public school. Deanna was a single mom most of the time and worked a full time job.

After the fridge and (especially) the knife incidents, it makes me wonder if they did put him in public school, but he was not welcomed back.  Hell, Mr. Six & I had rules surrounding taking our fat-ass cat to the groomers.  Can you imagine a nice teacher welcoming the students in on the first day and asking 'Daxxy' if he brought something for show-and-tell, and he pulls out 2 steak knives?  Teachers don't get paid that kind of money.

I don't believe that Amy is "homeschooling" and more than I believed it about the Duggars. There's a world of difference between providing your child an education, and simply not sending your child to school -- I'm pretty sure that Amy does the latter.

I think she's too lazy/doesn't have enough control over her kid to get him up, dressed, and fed in time for school. I also don't think she wants any feedback on his behavioral issues.

Agree 100%. Daxxie probably decides what “educational” activity he wants to do and when he wants to do it. Playing with knives counts too.

Unfortunately I have had a kid in school who was "raised" with no controls.  He was a terror in the classroom and on the playground.  The mom actually told the school not to call her for any behavior situations because he was the school's problem during the day, not hers.  That poor kid went to a babysitter before school, and a babysitter afterschool.  The mom actually bragged that she only had to put up with him for two hours a day after she came home from work.  That child had no friends because he did not have any idea how to interact with others in a normal way.  The adults that tried to teach him anything were up against a wall.  He would do weird things like eating his workbook pages and would not follow any rules.  Mom must have moved him to a different school the next year because I never saw him after that one year.  My guess is that someone at the school suggested counseling for him, and that it would take to much time and attention from the mom.  Kids need--and want--boundaries.  I really feel sorry for Daxy.

Wasn't Amy always claiming she wasn't like her cousins? She may not be a member of the Gothard cult, but she has the same values as the rest of her family.

Or she's just trying to be "on trend," following the trad wife fantasy.

So, Dill is good at the finances, but facing bankruptcy and court cases over money, and Amy is good at schooling the kid that climbs appliances and uses two kitchen knives at the same time. How exactly is traditional family structure benefiting anyone here?

They also didn't pay their taxes for several years and had a lien on their old house from the gov. for like $50,000. It got paid when they sold the house.

If they currently open their home, Amy's name isn't on the deed. A couple hits for Dill, most recently in 2022. That sounds about right regarding when they moved. And I thought I recalled Famy saying they were renting this place, but I may be mistaken.

Whatever the situation, they are living well beyond their means. She isn't making a ton with her influencing. Nothing like say Carlin Bates Stewart.

Hopefully it’s not similar to when he climbed in the refrigerator with the gummies within reach.

So what if Daxly says he wants to try a drink?? She openly said they can't give him safety knives or he throws them because he needs a real knife. Does he throw grape juice if he wants real wine??

So basically, they are both just losers at their “ traditional” roles. I would say that they should switch roles, but I don’t think either one of them are good at anything.

Alcohol was never even an issue when I had little kids. They didn’t ask about it, or try and climb somewhere to see it. And I never had to educate them about anything, it just never came up for a five year-old, or whatever Daxxie is. In fact, when my little granddaughter was still a toddler, she would point at daddy’s drink, and they would say that’s daddy’s alcohol drink. And then she didn’t want to drink it. And that was it, end of story.

If I were Amy, I wouldn't be bragging about Dill handling finances or her handling her kids nonexistent education.  I feel sorry for Dax because no one is going to put up with his behavior outside of his dumb parents.  He's going to have it hard when they are not able to shelter him anymore.

So do I. Dax deserves better from his parents'.
