Glad to see Israel wearing a helmet.  Still baffled by the bib.  If anything, it creates a space between him and the table which would lead to more messes.  All I can think of is that maybe he is very fastidious and he freaks out if he gets dirty?  It actually looks uncomfortable.

If he must wear a bib, she should buy something larger than an infant size.  I'm surprised that thing still fastens.  Really though teach him to eat properly if he can't.  In the real world, he'd be going to school this fall.

That's what I don't understand, I feel like the bib sticks out in such a way as to make more messes, not help prevent any. My brother used to have a bib like this when he was a toddler (this was wayyyy back in the 80's, lol) and when he finally started using it to store food he didn't like and small toys, my mom realized he was too old for it. I think he was about two years old at the time. Isn't Izzy pushing 5?

Maybe I;m reading too much into it but I wonder if Jill wants to keep her boys looking little and small and thus the bibs and sippy cups. They're both getting to the point where they're no longer "toddler cute" and maybe that dries up the gifts and sponsorships. And for whatever reason Jill is not planning on another "blessing" anytime soon.

Is it a construction playground? We have one near us. Actual construction equipment and everything. Personally I hate it, you have to pay a lot of attention to your kid rather than just allowing them to run free. Thank God that my son doesn't ask to go there frequently.

They live about 20 minutes apart, and Jill is about the same distance from the TTH. In contrast, Jessa is about 15 minutes away from the TTH. I don't think it's an issue of convenience at all for them not doing play dates together. It wouldn't surprise me if Jessa is shunning Jill in keeping with her dad's wishes, except for when she feels like she needs her, i.e. when she was giving birth. Perhaps I'm being uncharitable to Jessa, but I doubt it.

That's no construction "play" yard.  There are marker flags and rebar stakes in the first photo.  And that front-end loader is no toy, that's working equipment.  Not a playground.  Idiots.  

That helmet barely fits.  And no knee pads or elbow pads.  But since the bike is way too small for him, it will be a short fall when he hits the concrete.

the small bikes are easier when learning to ride without training wheels. the 12' or 15" bike is right for his age to learn. also I don't know any kids who wear knee or elbow pads on a bike.

If they were looking for sponsorship ops they would have had him on a Balance Bike. all the rage now. small bikes, no pedals. Felicity will surely have a Balance Bike by next year

Toddlers learning to ride 2 wheeler's don't need any protection at all, if the parent doesn't care.  But my pediatrician recommended a helmet and pads for my kids when they were under 5, and just learning.   I listened to their doctor.

I think maybe in general she's not used to seeing men do thoughtful considerate things for females. So these tiny little things mean a lot to her. I have noticed that many times she seems extremely grateful for every day gestures (like Derick filling up the gas for her).

At least Izzy was riding his bike outside unlike some of his aunts & uncles who rode their bikes around the dining room table inside the TTH.

Most construction sites are private property, so small children playing there is usually a very bad idea. 

Riding bikes in your own home isn't considered trespassing.

Those are the stale, dried up remnants of the tortillas Jill used as a hat on the boys.  

That pic with Smuggar is disgusting.  She's either holding the can for him to take it, or he's done with it and is putting it in her hand to leave on the counter throw away.  Either way, she's being his servant.

Exactly what construction site?  Who is the developer or owner and are there visable posted no trespassing signs?  All  I saw was little boys playing in dirt.  At least they were wearing shoes, unlike Jessa's boys.
