I have never been a fan of Poppy, but enough with the retconned trashing of her character. To me, she just seems like a guileless flake who followed her heart and made many, many mistakes along the way. (Maybe she and Brooke can connect as friends?)

I just can't with the ridiculous Daphne Rose. I agree. If your fragrance proceeds you when entering room, you're wearing too much damned perfume! I hope this seduction setup with Carter backfires big time in Steffy's face. Speaking of ... I thought JMW was looking a little fuller in the face and other areas today. Maybe it was the way she was dressed. Think she's preggers again?

Honestly, Daphne is probably the worst "seductress" the show has ever had. This only works if it's intended to be something we can laugh at. But just like Ridge being "desirable", Bell is probably being serious. However much of a flake Poppy was, the idea that she's responsible for Luna's homicidal tendencies is absurd. Saying she takes after grandma Sheila would make more sense.

And then those eyes roll.  Steffy is more excited about breaking up yet another of Hope's relationships.  Since she can't do it herself, she's using a third party.  What I don't understand is how breaking up Hope and Carter automatically means Carter will give up and hand the company back to Steffy.  He and Hope don't function as a single unit.

Before that, they were tight and had the "you and me against the world" mindset with Luna talking about how close a bond they shared. Then $Bill now is all "I hate my mom, too, so we're twinsies!" - but then mentions how his father wasn't around. I remember when he first came on the scene he was trying to avenge his father's love for Stephanie Forrester, but he couldn't stand his father.

I about died laughing when they showed the previews for next week and Finn is trying to emote ... something. 😂 He's such a crappy actor I can't believe he actually still has this role. 🙄

That nurse is wandering around the hospital thinking "OK, both of the Doctors Finnegan are losing it."  Also, Finn's face in the previews for next week was hysterical.  I rewound just to watch that shit a second time. 

"She's a gold digger. She's a Logan." Bitch, the Logans have their own money. And, for the seven millionth time, Carter was the one who knew about the LLC papers and came up with the idea. Carter. Hope went along with it and supported him in it, but Carter was the driving force. Carter is the one running the company.  Did Steffy not notice that Hope was not sitting in on Carter's meeting with Daphne?  She has to have some inkling that Hope, if she was calling the shots, would not have taken her back on as president. 

I'm shocked that Ridge spent so much time without Taylor surgically attached to him the past two episodes. 

Daphne has never heard the word "subtle" has she? I still wouldn't be surprised if Carter fell for it, though. His main character trait, other than being Ridge's BFF who performs all the Forrester weddings, has been his desperation for female attention. Honestly, I kind of want him to fall for her, and then still not give the company back over to the Forresters to run.  Steffy and Ridge won't be able to comprehend it. 

Oh, look, Bill and Luna are having the exact same fucking conversation they have every single day. This whole angle might have worked a tiny bit better if they hadn't had Luna and Poppy so close when Poppy came to town. They could have written Luna as being kind of on Li's side, in terms of judging Poppy for all of the choices she's made in her life. The story could have been that Luna actually stayed with Li's family at various times over the years because Poppy was off doing her own thing, and that she had grown close to Li and she resented the times her mother would show up and take her away from that sense of security and family. Maybe have them start growing closer when Luna thinks Bill is her father and she has a chance at some kind of actual family life, and then she snaps when she finds the letters from Tom and realizes that her mother's choices and lies are going to fuck her life up again.

When Steffy leaned over to look at the designs, I thought Hope might get a contact buzz from the remnants of La Shnoz's perfume and realize that Steffy and Shnoz must have been together before they got to FC, this exposing their alliance.  No such luck, though.  

This version of Bill is reminding me of when he was with Sheila and we couldn't figure out why.  This just isn't Bill.  Bill doesn't make excuses for bad behavior.  Bill would say, "suck it up, Buttercup, and get over it."

I keep noticing the similarities, too. But, like you, I just can't get why he'd do it. The Sheila thing ultimately didn't result in her going to jail. And, the authorities already had what they needed on Luna. Even if they didn't, and needed a confession, she already detailed exactly what she did when Bill was visiting in jail, and she has again since being in his house. I can't imagine what more anyone would need. 

I think this really is them thinking they're salvaging Luna. They're painting Poppy as a monster and having Bill play sympathetic ear to how Luna says she suffered being raised by her, because they think the audience is going to be on board with however they eventually free her. And I can get wanting to salvage her somehow, because the actress is good, but I just don't think this is the way.

This show is so frustrating, starting with the pacing. Steffy begs to come back to Forrester, & apparently later that day (she’s wearing the same outfit ~ green pants & print shirt she begged in) she’s working in the office she caught Hope “seducing” Finn in. That’s dang good HR, they work fast. 

This $Bill plan is so stupid. 1) How does he think no one is ever going to just drop in? Has he met Katie? 2) They started it Friday, but what’s the plan if anyone visits Luna in prison? Tell them she always has diarrhea & is unavailable? Just so dumb. 3) When are we going to find out how $Bill, who got Sheila to confess to murder, on-camera, but couldn’t get that to stick, snapped his fingers & got Luna released? Ridiculous.

I don’t know how to say this in a way that’s not insulting to the actress, but this “Daphne is the most seductive seductress to ever seduce” is just falling way flat. Perhaps it’s the lack of charm, or the constant smell-her-before-they-see-her, or maybe it’s my least favorite quality in any human: inexplicable arrogance. Whatever, she’s just not being well-received. Honestly, they could’ve gone a different route, & brought RB in as a tweaked version of this character, (& left Taylor off-screen as they should’ve) & let RB’s natural charisma take center stage the way DD’s natural charisma & charm has made $Bill such a great character. It would’ve gone way better than it currently is going, Or, they could’ve gone for brass & tried to get Vanessa Marcil, who has charisma jumping off the screen. Huge missed opportunity.

Ugh, the "actress", and I use that term loosely, who plays Ploopy is the plits. I did not miss her one bit. Sure, she can make a guilty face, but that's the entire extent of her "acting" ability. Before this gig was she even around human beings before? That scene in the jail was more embarrassing than Daphne Le Pew throwing herself at Carter in an attempt to seem seductive. 

The scene with Stuffy and Hope made me almost turn off the show for good. Not entertaining, just cringe.

And Luna-tictac and $Bill? Stupid, too unrealistic and beyond boring.

That will certainly stifle Poppy’s curiosity!

Steffy, shut your dirty little mouth. Do you forget where your grandpa’s funding came from? Those were some mighty fine bootstraps he pulled himself up with. Are we supposed to see Hope as some sort of villain as she describes a healthy, functional workplace that doesn’t run on spite? As someone who has unfortunately landed in a couple of toxic workplace situations, let me assure the writers that there are zero Forrester employees who would welcome Steffy’s poisonous leadership style back.

I never gave much thought to the rumors of Finn being the daddy but okay. She’s a chip off the old Shelia, that’s for sure.

What I would really love to see, in addition to the smug wiped off of Steffy's face, is for Finn to dance with the dark side of his gene pool. 

Tanner is much better when he has something else to play besides Steffy's Lapdog, ahem, Husband. And far more interesting...like when he hugged Sheila for the first time and you could see so many emotions playing across his face other than "Ruh roh!" "Go fetch!" or "Who's Steffy's Good Little Doggie?"

Elsewhere, I hope that it is revealed that Carter and Hope have been suspicious of Steffy and Daphne LaPew all along but have been giving her just enough rope to hang herself and Steffy. Hope definitely seems to know something is arot in FC and not just the scent emanating from DLP. And Carter seems to not even be remotely aware that she's coming onto him, which is typical for some men, and all of her touching and teasing and "oo la la-ing" is lost on him.

Zende needs to see someone about his convenient plot amnesia. He acts like he never heard Brooke’s plan. It also seems  like he’s doing well creatively without the threat of his line being cut looming over him. Buy a clue, bud.

Well, Finn has Covid. Kind of late in the game for a topical, socially relevant story, but whatever.

Sadly, I think Poppy does persuade Finn Steffy's husband from telling anyone - anyone that Luna is his daughter because she will play on the "Li will absolutely LOATHE Luna forever more if she finds out, and you wouldn't want Li to feel that way about Luna, right?"

Zende is choosing Forresters over The Logans (trademark), perhaps because he thinks over the long run, the Forresters will win out.
