Then again, Wyatt was laying it down and she left him, so 🤷♀️ As anyone who has grown up in any strictly religious community can tell you, the minute kids who had rigid rules get a taste of freedom, they will more often than not go absolutely overboard. Hope spent her teens and 20s making up for Brooke and Deacon's bad judgement and now she's making up for lost time as she's approaching 40. You cannot skip developmental markers. They may happen out of order, but happen they will and it seems like Hope is going to adolescence at an age where many are getting their first mammograms. 8 1 Link to comment

You hear this about US kids and alcohol. In other countries where the minimum drinking age is 18 (or even below!), the young don't go crazy*** because alcohol is not forbidden fruit in those early teen-ish years. Then, you also hear that parents will allow their prepubescent kids to take a sip or two of alcohol and that's not frowned upon in their culture. *** the exception seems to be the UK where young adults go wild in their drinking habits. At least that's the impression I get from the media. 1 2 Link to comment
Waldo13 Thursday at 12:20 AM Share Thursday at 12:20 AM Once again I have to say, Stuffy and Finn 🥱🥱😴. This is so stupid. Stuffy just left and Finn could have called Stuffy to come back for her tablet. Then Finn goes into the design office to return Stuffy’s tablet instead of Stuffy’s office. I call 🐂💩. Plus, Finn knows that Stuffy warned Hope about staying away from him or HFTF is history but Finn goes the one place that there is an excellent chance of running into her. One last thing, Finn could have also given the tablet to Charlie to give it back to her. Stuffy as the center of the universe 🤢🤢🤮. 5 2 2 Link to comment

CountryGirl Friday at 12:43 PM Share Friday at 12:43 PM It's official. Steffy has become the Victor Newman of the show where despite her far-worse deeds, she is never allowed to have anything rubbed in her face or even brought to her attention, never brought to task for anything, ever, and must always WIN at the expense of everyone else. Hope and Carter need to bring a hostile work environment lawsuit against FC and given how Queen Bitch Steffy has treated them, high-ranking employees, I'm guessing there are probably enough others to file a class action suit at this rate. I hope Fridge and Drowned Meerkat are really proud of the trifling heifer they've raised. What am I saying? Of course, they are. They've aided and abetted her for years. I wish Sally Spectra 2.0 could flee GC and the clutches of Butt Biscuit Nostrils Never Billy Abbot and relaunch Spectra Fashions and get Hope, Carter, Ivy, Zende, and Electra on board. 1 2 1 11 Link to comment

CharlizeCat Friday at 03:03 PM Share Friday at 03:03 PM How can Steffy just fire Hope without Ridge and Eric, and HR agreeing to her vindictive, impulsive decision? On today's episode, I fully expect to see Charlie escort Hope (carrying the requisite brown box) from the building. I am not trying to victim-blame here, but WTF, Hope? You, Carter, and your mom all agreed that the Cope relationship needs to be kept under the radar. Maybe donning lingerie for an in-office seduction wasn't the brightest idea. I have noticed that the stylists have changed Hope's wardrobe from ultra-sexy to more conservative. I guess to reflect that she's now involved with a more "buttoned-up" man, but nods to Carter for making it easier for her with his zip-front shirts. It looks like the stylists are dressing drowned meerkat similar to Dr. McShoulderblades. Shame on Ridge for the constant flirting, reassurance, and rubbing Taylor's upper arms. He is leading her on and why is she always hanging around FC? I thought she was trying to reestablish her practice. The scene with Sheila, Deacon, and Carter was filler and we didn't need to be reminded it was Halloween. Grabbing my popcorn for the big blow-up today! 5 Link to comment

Waldo13 Saturday at 12:07 AM Share Saturday at 12:07 AM (edited) Stuffy, did you ever consider how Finn was there in the first place? Did Hope call Finn so she can seduce him? If so, then Finn was complicit in meet up with Finn. It wouldn’t matter if Finn was there to explain that there was no way Hope would know he would be there. 🐂💩🐂💩🐂💩. I didn’t know that Ridge could fit 👍👍 up his ass. He stands there and he’s even afraid to ask Hope what happened because it would upset Stuffy. Hope explaining that she didn’t know that Finn would be there fell on Ridge’s deft ear. The way Stuffy’s mind works is that Hope was trying to seduce someone because that’s something she would do. I find it very hard to believe Eric when he said that he never was in debt when he started FC. He was in debt when he signed a lease. He was in debt when he hired his first employee. He was in debt when he ordered his first bolt of material. Just because you have money to pay for something doesn’t mean you’re not in debt. As an aside, according to CA labor law, Hope should have been handed her final paycheck as she was shown the door. Even though CA is an “at will” state, you cannot be terminated without cause if you have an employee contract. In additional, being fired, for retaliation, is considered a wrongful termination. If the monkeys with a keyboard had the balls, they could have Carter bring a lawsuit against FC, on Hope’s behalf, for wrongful termination. Carter could prove that Stuffy fired Hope as a personal issue (retaliation) rather than business. Edited Saturday at 12:20 AM by Waldo13 6 2 Link to comment

Hopefully he can convince Brook that her loyalty to Princess Bitch and King Waffle hasn't gained her anything or earned her any goodwill. I'm sure everyone will run to Eric within the next few days to tell on each other. Having Taylor there with no other purpose but to pile on was disgusting. I am a person that needs some balance in their viewing, and Show just does not have any. Until such time that Steffy has to go through months of pain, stress, confusion, and doubt as Hope waits to see if she is pregnant by Steffy's husband, they can miss me entirely with Steffy's tales of fucking woe. I see from comments above that I made the right decision. Now, let that horrid cow's impetuous, ill advised, and totally personal decision come back to bite her in her ass. I've enjoyed being on this forum, but now: au revoir, adios, etc. I'm sorry to see you go, but I speak for many here when I say it's not Steffy's bitchiness that's the problem. Most of us loved Stephanie and Reva from Guiding Light and Carly from ATWT and rooted for Jill Abbott on Y&R back in the day. No, the problem is, much like Victor Newman or Carly from GH, she's never allowed to lose. No one is ever allowed to even voice even the most mildest of criticism onscreen without her shooting it down, like when Finn tried asking her if she wanted to see Kelly and Beth having the same antagonist relationship she and Hope have had and to maybe consider burying the hatchet for their sakes. It's her way or the highway. Steffy's not the first character to eat this show alive, to be fair. But even when Nick Marone got all the big romance plots or Amber was the face of the teen scene over legacy kids CJ and Rick or even during the one time that Brooke actually was coddled by the narrative in the 2000s, they all occasionally took a L, as the kids say. They all were allowed to struggle and occasionally even learn from their mistakes to become better people. Hell, even Christine Blair on Y&R, one of the genre's biggest pet Mary Sues, played by the poster child for nepo babies, was allowed to lose to psycho Phyllis (which is 95 percent of the reason that otherwise worthless character has had the longevity she's had IMO bc people was THAT tired of Cricket the bug but I digress). If a nepo baby studio mandate character who, aside from being overly propped, was otherwise a largely decent human being can take a few lumps in her life, so too can Steffy. This is known as the Dolores Umbridge effect, ie people hating normie evil characters more than the fantasy Big Bad of a series because it's an evil most of us are far more familiar with. None of us will ever deal with being the Chosen One of a self fulfilling prophecy by a dude obsessed with immortality, but we have had to put up with people in power using institutions to bully us in positions or situations we couldn't easily leave. And you're right that we are all here for escapism, which is why the Beth story leaning so hard into Hope's depression damn near killed the show six years ago. It very likely would have if that story had played out a year later. And it's getting to be the same thing here. No matter how much I love any one character, no one should be allowed to run ramshot over everyone. On 11/3/2024 at 7:34 AM, backhometome said: Really? I think its the opposite. I will say that if Steffy does come back with an apology that Hope tells her where to shove it because Uncle Nick gave her funding to start up her own fashion house. Personally, I see a huge difference between a temporary, one and done situation where a character is targeted by an evil character and a daily ongoing situation where one character runs roughshod over another, and everyone around just enables or allows it. Add in that the character being run over is not allowed to lash out in return, not even to bring up how the bully has done way worse and way more often to her, or she's portrayed as being the one who is out of line and crazy. During Bitch in a Box, we all knew, with absolute certainty, that Steffy was going to be saved, and she'd be reunited with Steffy's Husband, and the entire cast would celebrate her miraculous return. We have no sign of any of Princess SuperBitch's bullying of Hope ever ending or of Hope ever being allowed even one tiny "win" in the feud Steffy is hellbent on carrying on for the rest of her life. 1 hour ago, backhometome said: Really? Just like the way she treats Finn comes across as emotionally abusive to a lot of us, but, to the writers, they're this big sweeping romantic love story. They show us one thing and tell us another. If we were really supposed to think Steffy is in the wrong, we'd see at least someone reminding her that she banged Hope's husband and had her second WTD situation because of it. We'd have someone calling her out for how her practically packing Thomas's bags so she could end his relationship with Hope is also what harmed HFTF. It's like how Taylor is standing there giving Brooke shit about Hope being after My Daughter's Husband, while Taylor is there hanging around Ridge's office all day because...? But Brooke isn't allowed to even dare say anything like "speaking of being after someone's husband, what are you doing here today? Don't you have a practice to tend to?" The only people who have been allowed to even say out loud that Steffy is letting her personal feelings make her business decisions are Carter and Ivy - two characters this show is definitely not invested in. They'll be easy fodder for losing to Princess SuperBitch when their time comes. 1 4 6 Link to comment

Cool Breeze Sunday at 08:22 PM Share Sunday at 08:22 PM I, too, think Steffy's really quite over-the-top rude, dismissive, berating treatment of Hope is setting Hope up for an epic comeback. I'm usually Team Forrester and I find the Logans seriously cloying but I don't know what the writers are going for here. Just like the way she treats Finn comes across as emotionally abusive to a lot of us, but, to the writers, they're this big sweeping romantic love story. They show us one thing and tell us another. Completely agree. Whatever the writers intent, it is not coming across on screen. I don't mind a bitchy character at all - one of my favorites was Olivia on GL. My issue with Steffy isn't her bitchiness, it's that she never loses. She is allowed to call Hope or Brooke a slut and no one is allowed to mention her issues with fidelity. Now I don't think any female character should be slut shamed but if the writers allow Steffy to do it, other characters aren't given the same opportunities. Even Stephanie got taken down a peg or two along the way. Of course her being ostracized couldn't last forever, but at least it happened. I think one of the biggest issues with Steffy is the actress. I don't think she's very good in general, but she also goes all in on bitchy/angry 24/7. There isn't a bit of nuance. Her portrayal doesn't help the character at all. Now perhaps she's directed that way, I don't know but regardless watching Steffy is an absolute slog for me. I think this show needs a rival fashion house. I wish Hope and Carter would get that rolling. Forester Creations having no rival has just been boring for ages now. 4 5 1 4 Link to comment

I will forever love Erica Kane, one of the most infamous bitchy soap characters. But Erica fucking lost. A lot. Sure, she won a lot, too, but she lost an equal amount. She had to earn people's trust and respect back multiple times. Nobody coddled Erica. Mona loved her to pieces, but she also told her when she was wrong. Even Jack called her shit out, no matter how head over heels in love with her he was. Steffy's parents never tell her she's wrong. She's as overindulged as a character can possibly be by her family. Case in point. Steffy stood in front of her father and called his "Destiny," the supposed love of his life, a "slut from the valley" in Friday's show. Ridge didn't say a fucking word. And Hope, while that smugass bitch was standing at the elevator, gloating, and telling her she can never set foot again in the company where her mother and aunt are executives, where her brother works, wasn't allowed to call her the bitch she's been to her for around a decade. She had to grovel to the end. While she was being ripped into for going after Finn Steffy's Husband, she didn't get to say "hey, at least I only kissed him. Remember when you fucked my husband and had to take your second DNA test in a row?" Wasn't allowed to say "hey, remember when you followed my fiancé around, throwing yourself at him every time I turned my back for 2 seconds? Right after you got done doing the same to my aunt's husband? Ringing any bells?" Of course, Taylor got to be there for the whole thing, so she could also gloat and get one over on "the evil Logans." Anyway... I don't think you could convince me that the show wasn't aiming in entirely different directions recently and then just decided to pull up stakes and change everything. I'm not hallucinating, right? We absolutely had scenes where Ridge said he was pulling back from the co-CEO spot to focus on designing, and Brooke was put in his place, right? After Steffy threw a grand mal temper tantrum over having to work with a Logan? That all happened, right? Now we're just back to Steffy and Ridge running the company without a care to check in with Brooke on this? Now that the Forresters have pissed off Carter, who's going to perform the ceremony when Ridge inevitably marries his beige limp dishrag? Maybe Carter can perform the Brill wedding instead. (Let me dream, dammit.) 8 1 Link to comment

Well, that's what I was also referring to in pointing out the cruelty this show seems to love. Guess it's perfect to have Greenlee there, looking all smug & enjoying the cruelty heaped on Hope. Is the assumption that viewers like & prefer to watch cruelty? Not me, no thanks. Btw, anyone else think this cruelty stuff is influenced by The Real Housewives crap? Skarzero 12 hours ago Share 12 hours ago How many times have we said that Steffy being an asshole isn't the problem but the fact that she never gets adequately checked or faces next to zero consequences for said asshole behavior? Either that doesn't sink for some reason despite being written in English or some people actually believe that Steffy is right 100% of the time and doesn't deserve the energy she puts out. Which to that I say is a personal problem. The show trying to appease a subset of twitter stans is exactly why it sucks. 1 4 1 Link to comment

Everyone will be backing Hope. Steffy will have to eat her words eventually and Hope will be back. or not without a job for long. Steffy IS the big, bad bully to Hope. She has been for weeks, ever since Hope kissed Finn at a non-work event and Finn is not a FC employee even though he's there far more than at the hospital where he is supposed to be a doctor. Hope is innocent from any workplace wrongdoing but Queen Bitch is so insecure about her own marriage because of her own open warfare on her relationship with Finn (via fucking and kissing Liam while supposedly committed to Finn, the former resulting in WTD #2) that she's projecting onto Hope and wielding power she has no business wielding. If this show were based in any kind of reality, Steffy would have been, at minimum, investigated for a hostile work environment and likely on leave or fired. Her hostile treatment of Hope is illegal as is her firing. Hope should sue FC but we know she won't but if she did, she should absolutely win, as it's not even a she-said, she-said situation but there are multiple witnesses to the horrific treatment. And Steffy has NEVER faced any real consequences for her horrible behavior, except for the nanosecond when Liam rightfully left her ugly-crying on the walkway at the cliff house when he learned about Stallion Night and WTD #1 and even he succumbed to the brow-beating to forgive and forget because of Kelly. Until after Hope returned to town. That is the sole time since she has had a fully-formed frontal cortex that she was made to take responsibility for anything and it is important to note that she took no responsibility for Stallion Night until after Ridge and Taylor assumed Bill took advantage of her. But even then, she would never have come clean if Liam hadn't caught her red-handed. Even Katie of all people visited the poor, pregnant adulterer to "there, there" her a little bit. So I'm going to be like many of us here and be just a WEE bit skeptical about the prospect of Steffy ever paying. Again, she's the female Victor Newman or the poor man's Stephanie Forrester. Even Stephanie realized she was an insecure idiot and made her peace with Brooke, wanting her by her side as she was dying and no one else. But this bitch will never, ever learn. So long as she keeps being enabled and being told that the bed of shit she's made for herself smells like a rose. 6 2 Link to comment

Anna Yolei 9 hours ago Share 9 hours ago Count me as a skeptic until and unless the show proves otherwise that a consequence will be had for The Great Girlboss Victor Newman, too. B&B is nothing if not flatly predictable. I want to be wrong, I truly do. 2 hours ago, Skarzero said: How many times have we said that Steffy being an asshole isn't the problem but the fact that she never gets adequately checked or faces next to zero consequences for said asshole behavior? It's also funny that people get so mad that the Logans aren't outright hated because this is one of the few places online that *isn't* mindlessly worshipping at Steffy's feet. If they don't like the (IMHO) very civilized discussion here, they are at no loss of other places like Twitter, Instagram and probably Bluesky too if and when the soap accounts start moving there (like if anyone wanna get another Team Logan or at least not rabidly anti-Hope/Brooke space going, better get in on the ground floor, the block options are AMAZING) Like, I've been apart of this community when it was TWoP and Brooke was very much persona non grata twenty years ago, when her and Ridge were the ones being propped and Nick and Rick and Taylor were having their characters ruined to prop them. The rabid hatred just doesn't make sense anymore when Brooke is at worst a nagging mom to her grown idiot daughter but otherwise not currently ruining lives. 5 1 Link to comment

This is exactly it. People tend to assume that everyone else operates how they do. Steffy keeps saying how Hope is "just like Brooke," but what Steffy has really been doing is assuming that Hope will do exactly what she'd do herself in the situation. If the roles were completely reversed, planting an ill-advised drunken kiss on Hope's husband would have been the least of it all. Somehow figuring out that he was on his way into the office and rushing to change into lingerie would have been perfectly on brand for Steffy. So she can't stop and think through the very low odds that Hope would have been able to plot what happened with Finn this time. 2 4 1 Link to comment

RH shows have gotten progressively nastier and crazier over the years. It's definitely entertaining and brings ratings for Andy Cohen. I watch a few RH shows for mindless escapism (like B&B!) and on the ones I watch, none of the housewives were in an employee-subordinate situation. At least on housewives shows, when the women are having a conflict, they eventually sit down and try to talk out their differences. (Which might be sincere or producer-forced.) Steffy offers Hope no such grace. On numerous occasions, Hope has apologized to Steffy for inappropriate behavior and has repeatedly expressed her wishes for the two to try to get along and mend the ridiculous Forrester- Logan rift. Steffy has never made the first move to try to find common ground and a peaceful co-existence with Hope, nor has Steffy ever apologized to Hope for anything. I would argue that Steffy's list of transgressions is pretty long in comparison to Hope's. I dunno. Maybe Steffy and Hope should go out to lunch to talk things out. Hope can bring out the Receipts! Proof! Timelines! Screenshots!, get angry, and throw the table over or smash a wineglass in Steffy's face. If it's at IG, then it's all good. Hopefully, Sheila will be their server and Deacon can send the bill to FC. I am sure they must have a house account at IG! Edited 6 hours ago by CharlizeCat 4 Link to comment
backhometome 5 hours ago Share 5 hours ago Hope loves to play victim. She had plenty of time to explain that she was waiting for Carter and not the CEOs husband. Nothing is worse to me than victim Hope and put upon Brooke. 🙄 Link to comment

It's Steffy we're talking about so she wouldn't have believe a damn thing out her mouth anyway but she should've said it the way Steffy was allowed to tell an equally belligerent Hope that she didn't fuck Liam at that nightclub in 2012. Believe me, non-Hope haters hate victim Hope as much as everyone else :( 1 1 Link to comment
