I was enjoying the Carly takedown till Ava hid the blanket and lied to the police. It's going to blow up in her face badly, and I hate seeing Carly win again and the smugness go off the charts for the umpteenth time.

But I did enjoy seeing Ava pull the blanket out for Nelle to see. All I could think was, "Child, when it comes to scheming, you're a rookie. You're in the presence of  a pro." I know she has to keep the blanket to control Nelle, but the best thing for her to do would be to burn it (not down at the docks where people will see her) ASAP.

Michael's not doing a very good job of keeping Nelle from thinking they have a chance to be a couple again. He can be concerned about her and the baby without spending the night in the hospital.

That's because Steve didn't want to have Jason and SheBeast in a romantic relationship. I think mostly due to the fact original SheBeast smoked. Plus he had a crush on Kimberly/Robin.

James Patrick Stuart really should invest in a teeth whitening kit. They aren’t that expensive and I think he can afford it. There’s no excuse for anyone let alone someone in show business to have such horrible yellow teeth. Just saying.

I thought Maura West was great today. They way she played Nelle was awesome and Nelle actually showed real fear. Hopefully, Ava can put the blanket in a safe place. I was kinda bummed that Jason believed Carly. I wanted everyone to think she was off her rocker.

I'm not in showbiz, but I drank juice for years and the acid damaged my teeth so badly that whitening kits don't help.  Nothing you can do about it unless you buy veneers, which I suspect FH has.  Her teeth were quite stained in the clip with Olivia Jerome, and now they are sparkling white.

There are so many stories like this about various male actors on this show.  I thought the show must go on, and you just deal with it.  So she smokes, you only have to kiss her now and then and there was a rule of no french kissing.  Whatever.  Can't he just do what he has to do?  Not the most professional with this type of demand.  That being said, if the she-beast got Jason, she'd be truly insufferable.

I would be physically ill trying to kiss someone that smoked.  Some people have actual allergies and physical reactions to smoke smell.  Sure, he could force himself to do it, but it would probably come across onscreen that he wasn't enjoying it.

I know. The blind test doesn't give Ava any information, while Griffin has the puzzle solved. That's the Logic of Show. If Ava was to save a bunch of orphans, kittens, and puppies from a burning building while defeating an evil genius from freezing the world, Sonny/Carly/Jason would still throw Morgan's and Connie's deaths in her face.

As well they should if they were anybody but Sonny/Jason/Carly who have their own deaths on their hands.  But, saving other people doesn't negate the fact that she outright killed Connie in cold blood (I think?) and messed with Morgan's meds until he killed himself.

Fashion judgments first: Maxie, Nina, Liz, and Alexis played it safe but looked lovely, Ava's look was way too matronly, Anna's casual bathrobe-esque ensemble was a big miss for me, Sam's dress was too embellished but her worst accessory was that god-awful JaSam theme music, and Robin Scorpio-Drake deserves a hell of a lot better than that star-spangled cupcake wrapper she was stuffed into. 

ABC really scrapes the bottom of the barrel hiring the "celebrity" talent for this thing. Bachelor whoever-the-fuck added nothing but was pretty inoffensive, but Carla Hall as Cook Two was a dumb waste of time. Nobody was holding their breath for resolution on the saga of Olivia and her fight for freedom in the Quartermaine kitchen, show.

So the llama has a name now and is apparently Lucy's escort. Well, that's no worse than being escorted by Franco or Sonny, so good for Lucy.

Poor Kimberly McCollough.  Who hates her enough to give her that monstrosity to wear?  It looked like cheap shiny gift wrap stuck to her body.  Sure, she's gained a few pounds, but so what.  I've always loved her since she made her first appearance on GH.  She's certainly not in Epiphany territory - far from it - and the wardrobe department could have done something soooooo much more attractive for her.  I'm actually surprised she agreed to wear that thing today.  Maybe she had no choice.  -------   I thought Nina looked lovely, as did Elizabeth.  Sam looked like she was headed off to compete on DWTS.  Maxie was very sparkly, but she looked kind of cute.....and happy, for once.   I didn't really mind Anna's getup; it certainly was different.  Alexis was beautiful; liked her sleeker hairdo. 

I was hoping for Robert to crawl through that opening in the wall, along some duct-work and burst out of a wall in the ballroom.  But then he keeled over onto the floor, so - no.

If I were a Naxie fan, that would have annoyed me. Nathan gave Maxie a diamond necklace on their wedding night. I know it's a generic gesture but it's hasn't been that long and they could have picked something else. 

Carla Hall did a better job playing a character than she did playing herself last time she was on GH.

So glad Frank has cash to throw away on a llama.

The Nurses' Ball reached a new nadir of silliness and appalling misogyny this year. Most of the women wore their everyday hair with ballgowns and jewels. Apparently the stylist spent all the time and effort on Jordan, leaving nothing to spare for the other women. Wardrobe must have been bent on embarrassing Kim McCullough into permanent retirement behind the camera instead of in front of it, and Kristen Storm was a sparkling sack of potatoes that they were trying to sexualize while she was nine months pregnant. Ava looked like she was dressed for her own funeral, and Sam in lowcut black and red lace had apparently tangled with el toro in the ring, and the bull had won. Only Kiki was a dreamgirl, although Stella won the prize for single ladies of a certain age.

The award for best dressed goes to Josslyn. She looked age appropriate, very flattering color on her and that dress was perfectly tailored to her body. Robin’s dress was a absolutely tragic. I can’t even comment on what Anna was wearing. Sam looked like a low priced hooker with that dress and lipstick. I thought Alexis looked fabulous. Ava was going to her own funeral. Nina’s dress was good on her but I do so hate her hair. Maxie looked like a disco ball. Stella and Max were adorable and so good looking. Jordan was showing way too much cleavage for a police commissioner. Her beau, however, looked oh so fine. Can’t remember anyone else so far. Oh. I’m no fan of Sonny’s but he can rock a tuxedo. I had no idea who that male “host” was with Nina.

Joss was more heartbroken over Nelle's fall down the stairs than her mother spending a second night in jail. That said, I liked her dress.

I liked Nina's dress, but not the color, but MSt has a banging body and that dress fit her like a glove. Jordan's dress was fabulous and the color was really nice on her.

Kim and Kelly's dresses were absolute misses. There are better dresses than that. 

Loved Alexis's straight hair and I am so tired of Finn/Anna. Please, shit or get off the pot. Thanks!

Valentine hugging Nina and staring at Peter was all sorts of levels of creepy.

Ava's dress was terrible. 

Of course, creepy Dr. Bensch followed Kiki to the ball. I'm really worried this thing is going to end in rape.

Same here. The real crime against fashion was Robin's. It wasn't flattering and it was terribly fit to boot. 

I loved Alexis's dress. Nina's was okay. Olivia's was a great color on her, but it looks familiar. Has she or someone else worn it before? Joss's dress was nice. Stella's dress was grea—I'm a sucker for a portrait neckline. It always looks so elegant. Lucy's first dress is kind of a disaster, but Lucy always has at least one puzzler.

Is it too much to ask that Dutch the llama has been trained to spit at people?

Loved Alexis' dress--also Nina's and Elizabeth's.  Poor Kimberly--that was an atrocity.  Yes, she's not a stick figure, but I can think of a dozen styles that would've been more flattering on her other than shiny, foil-esque leftover Christmas wrapping paper. 

Also, god, he's not on contract, so why am I subjected to so much damn Spinelli?  And can he fuck off with his proprietary concern over Maxie?

Stella's dress was great but how big is her closet that she just happened to have a formal dress like that on hand? It would take me several weeks to come up with something like that.

Who is trying to punish Kim and why?  That dress was a horror. Everything was wrong about it -- too tight too shiny, too much.

I would have liked Anna's outfit better if the belt were black to match the pants. With the purple jacket, teal belt and black pants, it looked like she got dressed in the dark.

Spinelli reminded me why I hate him when he assumed that Maxie wouldn't have a date for the Ball and didn't even bother to check with her before she arrived.

The red carpet bit is so cringe worthy. These people are not A listers, they're just the inhabitants of Port Charles who are coming to a fund raiser,

Most eye-rolling worthy moment:  when Jason, attending in his always outfit of black leather jacket and black T-shirt, came across Sam in her frontier madam outfit and blinked. And the music played.
