Part of me hopes that Michael is trolling everyone, that he arranged the hit, and is trying to get in close so that he can strike again soon.

This would be the best thing to happen on this show since Faison kicked Jason into the Port Charles River.

I'm totally Team Evil Michael

I really think Liz should have confessed to Jake this week she knows he's Jason. It would have surprised everyone and blindsided the viewers in a good way. The set up was perfect, but no of course that would conflict with them planning it for sweeps which I'm sure will happen.

Looks like Sonny is becoming front and center again, ah no thanks show

They actually looked smaller than they did the last time I saw a pic of her though.

SMALLER? Damn what did she do? She was practically flat as a board when she was on the show last time and now she's got perky girls. I can't imagine them any bigger, especially since the rest of her is so tiny!

there's no way Dr. O would stand for private guards to prevent her staff from going into Sonny's room. It hits her in the inefficiency.

I thought Michael just said to screen everyone and if someone goes into the room and closes the blinds, that they are to be removed immediately (or words to that effect). Not to prevent hospital staff from entering the room. That would make no sense.

I saw a pic of her semi-recently and they were very big. It might've been the bra though.

Carly is no Cookie

Carly isn't even Camilla aka Yoko.

That's the kind of amazing twist that good dramas do, and daytime soaps used to do.

No.  I didn't even recognize her at first.  The actress playing Molly couldn't hide her face throughout the whole episode the fact that Kristina's return is going to translate into fewer minutes of screen time for Molly.

Fewer to what. We hardly see her as it is and her dad is still a major player and is dating TJ. If anything, Kristina's return should increase her screentime, as hopefully, Molly would have be having conversations with her.

This is a young woman who grew up thinking her father didn't want her

He still doesn't know her name, so I'm not sure things are much better today.

Michael specifically said even if a hospital employee closes the blind, s/he is also to be removed. I guess he's okay with Sonny's catheter being changed for all the world to see.

That greasy, self serving, smug, cocky son of a bitch you've gone back to calling "Dad" did not "screw up", he committed murder! First degree murder of an innocent, not to mention unarmed, man in cold blood and then attempted to cover it up like the slimy coward he is and always has been and will be from the looks of it.

True. However killing AJ was only a problem in an abstract way. Michael didn't really even know AJ.  He was more enraged that Sonny broke his promise. To Michael!  The important son!  Obviously this is the sole reason he took Avery, not the Mobular stuff like he said at the time. I think that's what he meant by they both screwed up.

I disagree with the first part and partly agree with the second. Michael and AJ had formed a bond when AJ came back to town, and Michael had started calling him 'dad.' Sure he was enraged that Sonny broke his promise, but he was equally if not more upset to lose the father he was just coming to love, to the man whom he'd regarded as his father all his life.

Sure he took Avery as payback, but he also wanted to keep her safe. He knew (and still knows deep down) that Sonny's children aren't safe around him. If not for Sabrina, Avery would still be at the Qs and Michael would still be furious with Sonny. That doesn't mean he can't love Sonny on some level. But I blame Sabrina's influence for this latest turn of events.

I'm not denying Sabrina didn't bring all this up with Michael, but she didn't force him to change his mind. If he doesn't have the strength of character to make his own decisions and stand by them, that's on him. IMO, Michael's resolve was already starting to crumble when he stopped being mad at Carly for keeping the secret, and that had nothing to do with Sabrina.

If I believed that Michael was even really a factor in any of this I would say that AJ being dead and Sonny's broken promise are factors in Michael's actions.  But the writers have shown:  1) AJ means nothing; 2) Everything is all about Sonny; and 3) the writers want all of Sonny's kids to ignore whatever genuine issues they should have with him because it doesn't fit their narrative.  I can't say Michael is weak, etc. because the writers don't care enough about him.  If they did, Michael would never have forgiven Sonny or Carly so soon and he would not be saying things like "we both messed up" or declaring Carly the best mom ever. Not after what they did.  The fact that they are glossing all over it just shows that Michael is just a prop for Sonny.  The writers are putting him in the slot they want and it doesn't matter if it makes sense or not.  It doesn't matter is the character of Michael is hurt by it (but that's the norm - it never matters how characters are hurt when it comes to propping Sonny.)

I don't post much, but had some scattered thoughts about yesterday, so here goes.  I'll await the arrows.

The epitome of family messiness on a soap is when one sister delivers the following line to another sister: "Your father may have shot mine."

After I picked my laughing self up off the flloor, I was able to enjoy the Davis girl reunion - and the very welcome presence of the lovely Lexi Ainsworth as Krissy. Hope the puppet masters let her stay around!

I enjoyed watching Ric squirm in the courtroom when he learned his needed evidence had disappeared - almost as much as the look of consternation on Scotty's face when he saw his trashed rooms. Guess we can let Ric off re that USB drive - he was genuinely surprised at court when he learned he no longer had it in evidence.

So my question is: "Paul Hornsby, where are you? And what have you been up to?"

Another question: Are the writers once again convoluting a plot twist to keep Maura West's magnificence on our GH screen? I like having the actress around, but I sure wish the writers would stop painting themselves into corners with her character.

We've had some good Corinthos family scenes, but it's time to move on from the Sonny lovefest and get youngest son some much needed treatment before he kills someone.

It will be up to the Corinthos family anchor (big, sad sigh), Michael, to do this. Morgan is obviously off the rails and Dante is too consumed stewing in his own guilt to be of much use.

Speaking of that guilt, I have enjoyed most of DZ’s performances in this story, but it’s time to either ‘fess up – or do as Valerie is trying to do – and move on. Either reveal the ONS – or let Lante go back into the pretty, little, loft-sized happy couple closet and be done with it until it’s time to waste the potential of another disposable character to give them story.

BTW, I’m sensing a shift in this story - just a “feeling” – we’ll see what the new writers bring in the next few weeks.

Off for now – still recovering from the sugar overload of Lulu’s saccharine words to Dante.

Thank you, thank you! I swear some people act like Sabrina put a gun to Michael's head and made him give back Avery. The only reason she broached the topic of Michael giving her back was because Michael said he wanted to make peace with his family. Ultimately the decision whether to give her up was Michael's, and Michael's alone. And even after he gave her back he still kept his distance from Sonny at least. It was this latest shooting that made him suddenly drop all pretense of Sonny hate and worship at his altar again. Sabrina certainly never advocated that he should forgive Carly or Sonny wholesale and start calling Carly the best mother ever or basically chalk up AJ's death to a "mess up."

I think HeatLifer may have a black out rage after watching Friday's episode. Although Patrick telling Emma she's the best - twice- was sweet. My one thought was there's the proof that Danny is Jason's son: he stares blankly silently, and motionless at Patrick instead of answering Patrick's question. And then he ignored Patrick's affectionate touches. No, Patrick, Sam does not "know you pretty well."  The tongue bath of Patrick will induce projectile-vomiting for some. But saying

"I want to marry you" to her while they are cleaning up and being affectionate after his 'birthday party' is not a proposal.

So there it is. Carly thinks Morgan could kill someone because of a "bi-polar episode."  Big fail, Show. I liked Kristina snapping at Carly/insinuating she's an idiot and then snapping at Michael, too. So Kristina got the brain for the day that Morgan w/gun=danger. Makes you wonder if Kristina will at some point tell a horrified therapist, "We thought my sister's dad shot my dad, and that my brother was going to accidentally shoot my mom because he was out for revenge against the guy. Even though there wasn't proof that her dad was the shooter."

All the Dillon movie stuff is just so eye-roll worthy.  But Tracy's reaction to Dillon and Maxie, and then Paul was pretty funny.

It was irritating, but to me that/being family now was more of a plot-point line to set up Patrick's 'proposal' two seconds after Anna left with the kids. I see it as more Patrick tongue-bathing, to go along with the garbage Sam spewed about how wonderful and caring he is so someone needs to take care of him. I would swear it's a re-vamp of a Sabrina and Patrick script.

But didn't Sabrina also float the theory that Sonny's bipolar condition made him unable to stop himself from AJ?  Because that was some bullshit.

I'm not sure if that happened or not. My viewing of the show has been spotty at best the last month or so. I'm assuming if it happened that was during the conversation she and Michael had about whether or not Morgan could have bipolar disorder. And it would still have nothing to do with Michael's complete turnaround on Sonny, since up until this shooting Michael was still adamant that he couldn't forgive Sonny.

Oh, TJ I wondered when he got his brain back when he told Morgan to just stay out of it, but clearly he's still brain-damaged since he bought into Morgan's built trip and spilled the beans.

I'm glad Kristina was having none of everyone else trying to downplay the kind of damage Morgan with a gun could do and that she was worried for her mother.

Is there anything worth watching for the last three or four days? I've spent most of the past two weeks watching DAYS run up to its anniversary, and I haven't watched that show regularly in years because it always turns to shit real fast based on a micromanaging/laissez-faire, grandfathered-in EP who will never, ever be removed. It has a poor 85-year-old man who is literally reading cue cards onscreen like Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood's movies and can't seem to stand up, and it's still more engaging than watching a cast of characters young and old weep at Sonny's perforated bedside for the 99th time. The guy's got to have more orifices at this point than your average porn. Then there's the riveting side-plots: Nina! Franco! Lyin' Ass Liz! Amnesia!

Me? Rage blackout? Over what? Mac, Felicia, Anna, ROBIN'S family, all giving gifts to good 'ol Patrick? Patrick saying he's the luckiest guy ever? Patrick not needing to make a wish because all his wishes came true? Patrick claiming that SAM knows him well, when she doesn't know him at all? Emma giving Patrick "trouble dolls" to worry about his PATIENTS when her mother should be worried about?

Aw, can't wait till Robin makes it out of those chains to see this!

No. But the show made sure to mention that Mac and Felicia got him a gift. Why they're still using Robin's family on this douchebag, I'll never know. He doesn't give a shit about Robin or that his daughter hasn't spoken to her in over a year. Why HER family? It's so insulting. Have Alexis get him a gift. Molly. Julian. Whatever.

I saw him open the gift from Liz that Emma handed him, but I didn't hear the part about gifts from Felicia and Mac. Geez. Your rage is very understandable, HeatLifer. I wonder if KMcC's brief return this fall will even be long enough to react to it.

I am not even convinced KMc will have a brief return this fall.  Anna will be too busy comforting Patrick over his heartbreak to wonder why Robin lied

Oh lame, so we didn't get to see them, but did get to hear that they sent Patrick gifts?  Oh show, why do you want to hurt me!

And like I mentioned elsewhere, I don't mind that Patrick has closer relationships now with Anna/Mac/Felicia that he built during the time they thought Robin was dead.  But given the context of Robin's continued captivity, it comes off all wrong.

Why couldn't the non-present people name dropped have been Noah and Matt?

And the context is important! I don't care about Sam and Patrick! I care that I have to watch Patrick talk like he is the happiest person on the planet and he doesn't need anything else because he's SO LUCKY and SO HAPPY...while Robin has been a prisoner for over a year!!!!! And, no, I don't care that he "doesn't know." He has more than enough info. And even if she wasn't locked up, he should care that no one has heard her voice in over a year!!!! It's sick.

Am I the only one hoping that Morgan waving a gun at Alexis (and Julian) because he found them, thanks to TJ, results in Molly deciding that's the last straw and dumping his stupid ass? He heard Alexis leave with Julian, so he chose giving into Morgan's bullying and disregarding Molly's mom's welfare out of loyalty to and admiration for Sonny.

Don't be mad, HeatLifer. *sings* You are not alone. Anna also apparently forgot Danny already has TWO grandmothers (Monica who?) while taking the kids off so SamTrick could have alone time for the weakest almost-proposal ever.

Congrats, TJ, now you will be partially responsible for Alexis being shot because you know Morgan won't be able to hit his target. Oh and you don't even know if Julian is responsible, so good job sending Morgan after two innocent people. And I fully expect this all to be handwaved by his "bipolarness", which I still think is just stupidity.

Even better, Morgan accidentally shoots Molly. She's only grazed, but it's enough to send him into such a spiral of shame that he's packed off to Shady Brook/Ferncliffe for treatment and we don't see him on-screen for the rest of the year.

TJ gets dumped regardless, because he's being a complete fool about Sonny.

You mean a proposal with that chaste "I refuse to open my mouth!!" kissing wasn't romantic for you???!!

I can't wait till next week, when Patrick spouts bullshit like, "I know how important Jason is to you! And you knew that boring hobo beast I used to be married to! So we're perfect for each other! "Here's a bracelet that Matt made for you from prison!" I still can't believe out of all the crimes that people have committed on this show over the past few years, the only two who actually went to prison for any significant time were Steven Lars and Matt.

Hold up, Mac and Felicia were on today?!?!

They would have been onscreen only if they were visiting Sonny.

I am all alone in this. But what I would have given if Anna had called up Julian and said, "So I know you're responsibility for killing Duke.  Do you wanna know where your grandson is right now?"  I miss bad ass Anna. Not that I'd want her to hurt the kid, and I'm no Duke and Anna fan, but the fact that she has been so ineffectual at containing Julian wounds me. She needs to do what she did to his sister (no, his other sister) and make him believe he's in harm's way and get him to confess everything.

And I'm positively sickened that there are now more Jeromes and TF show than there are Scorpios. Or even Scorpio-Drakes.

Ha, I know what the show is doing now. But I can't pretend about things that happened in the past. That's the gift and curse of soaps. Patrick hated Sonny. He berated Robin for her relationships with Sonny and Jason. He wanted Robin to let Jason die.

Of course he does! He'll be getting plenty of hero sex from Sam on his b-day for saving her "friend"/Jason's BFF in the OR with his brilliance and skills. And Sam doesn't know anything about medicine to wonder if maybe there's a better way to treat patients. All Sam will ever say is what a brilliant and gifted doctor he is and how handsome he is. Patrick did not enjoy being questioned/having competition in the hospital. He flat out hated Robin being in the COS position.

I get that he wants Sonny to live, he is a doctor and Sonny is his patient.  He has to put aside any personal feelings and do his job.  I don't see anything wrong with that.  It's the tears in his eyes when he was talking to Sam that really threw me.  I am not sure what JT was going for there, but it was really weird and not true to character at all.

Nope, I'm right there with you. In fact my head is throbbing from the stupid that is TJ and I almost hope Morgan shoots Alexis with all that hand waving, not a kill shot, just a graze because I (usually) love Alexis (NLG on Twitter, not so much) and I don't know if Molly would care that much if Julian got shot even though her Mom is standing right there with him. Although she'd still probably blame Julian more than TJ, I can still hope.

Hope. The only thing that keeps me watching TFGH.

There would be nothing wrong with it...if he extended the same benefits to Robin. Robin is also a doctor. And was told Jason would die if she didn't save him. She sacrificed her life to save someone. And not selfishly so she can have Jason for herself only. To bring him back to his family. But she was screamed at and yelled at that Jason was a mobster who didn't deserve life. And now Patrick is reaping the benefits of her sacrifices that he didn't even want her to take, along with tearing up over Sonny and respecting Sam's friends and loved ones. I'm sorry, it's crazy to me.
