Jill Rod is going to get a lot of stimulus $

Roughly

$1400x14=19,600

$3000x10=30,000 (maybe)

But she is getting almost $20,000

I bet she is going to have a brain aneurysm or an orgasm at all that free $

Shrek better buy bigger pants because they will be eating at the GOOD Olive Garden a lot

In addition, they will receive monthly payments as kind of an advance for the child tax credit that parents or guardians are eligible to take on their taxes.  They will get $250 a month for kids between 6 and 17 and $300 a month for kids under 6.  At least, they will if they've been filing taxes of late and the kids have social security numbers.  Knowing Jill and her concerns about the ebil gubmint, which I presume Shrek shares, I don't think it is a certainty that they've gotten SS numbers for the kids and have been filing.

They currently have 7 kids between 6-18 and 2 under 6.  That's $2350 cash on the barrelhead each month.  One kid turns 18 in July and another turns 6 which will decrease their payout to a measly $2050 then.  That's in the neighborhood of $28,000 this year.  Pretty nice neighborhood.

Don't hospitals automatically apply for social security numbers after births? ETA: Apparently it's optional. https://www.ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10023.pdf

I agree that with their beliefs, it might be questionable whether they file tax returns, not that they'd ever have to pay taxes with all those kids. But I think Jill's ongoing grifting might encourage her to file just to get every benefit and dime she can.

Hospitals give parents the information to apply for an SS number and will send in the application for them once it is completed; but it is ultimately up to the parents.  It is voluntary.  Since most of us are law abiding citizens and want the number to get the tax deduction, it's kind of a no brainer.  Jill, however, is already a no brainer and I could see her refusing the opportunity to apply for her kids.

I already edited my post to note that it's voluntary, with a SSA link.

I wasn’t bashing dolls and it was nice of David’s sister to think of it. It just would be nice to see someone give them a chemistry set. A play medical bag with a stethoscope. A microscope. A set of legos. Hell, a nurse’s uniform. Something that might get them thinking about other paths. That’s all.

I understand. I tend to be sensitive to this topic due to family members who go kind of the opposite direction - they have refused to give my girls dolls for Christmas or birthdays due to not wanting to push gender stereotypes or viewing dolls as "indoctrinating them to be mothers."  As if that's what I'm trying to do by providing them with dolls. 🙄 So they ask me for suggestions for gifts, I suggest doll items because that is what my girls love the most, they scoff and disregard the suggestion and buy something else - some STEM- related toy, usually, and my girls never touch it and go happily off to play their endless imagination games with their dolls. I don't like to see a devaluation of that which is traditionally feminine any more than I like to see girl's choices limited (and I know that's not what you were trying to do, and having limited choices is most definitely an issue for those poor Rod girls). ☹

This discussion has made me remember one of my favorite doll games from when I was young. I had a lot of baby dolls, and I don't recall pretending I was their mother all that often. Instead I had this elaborate game where I would pretend the baby was left on my doorstep with a mysterious note reading "please protect my baby - someone is after us and I have to hide her!" So I would take the baby in, and suddenly I would start being chased after by some sort of bad guy, and would have to escape with the baby and try to find her mother and outwit the bad guy. There was a little patch of woods behind our house and I would run around the woods with my doll, hiding behind trees and trying to keep the baby from crying as I was pretending to be chased. 😀 Sometimes friends would bring their baby dolls and we'd play this game together, which was even better. Those were good times. 😊

Erin and Chad have added a couple of pigs to their menagerie.  One of them is pregnant.  She had a story up that showed Holland trying to pet the mama pig.  I thought pigs could be mean.  It made me a little nervous.

Four of the Bates boys are in Florida laying flooring at Alyssa and John's new place.  Carlin and Evan were there over the weekend helping to paint.

Anna Marie Maxwell is going to Nevada to get a hernia fixed.

I find it odd that Anne Marie goes so far out of state for her medical care. She lives in Kansas and I believe she traveled to New York for her breast cancer surgery, Washington state for chemotherapy and other naturopathic treatments, and now Nevada for hernia repair. Her breast cancer was not an uncommon one nor is hernia repair.  She I going to Nevada to avoid mesh, which is commonly used for hernia repair.

Stevehovah has a lot of 'unique' ideas when it comes to medical care, maybe it has rubbed off on Anne Marie and her headship.  She got treatment for her breast cancer in Seattle, where she found a doctor who used homeopathic/naturopathic remedies in addition to traditional chemo. He may or may not have been their kind of strict fundy.  I could see her choosing a surgeon who used 'natural' methods to repair hernias and thinking that mesh was somehow 'unnatural' and dangerous.  In fact, while there are some complications unique to mesh, it is often used to prevent recurrence of the hernia which is the biggest risk with the non-mesh repair.  The hernia was caused by weak tissue.  Take the weak tissue, suture it back together and you've got a hernia  repair that is inherently weak and more likely to fail.

I played with dolls. Not every time was I playing mom, but I did. But I was a Barbie girl at heart. She had some exciting adventures... driving around her cool Malibu van, going swimming in her cool pool, romancing Ken and living the good life in her three story townhouse despite a runaway elevator plunging from the third floor with her in it (she suffered a broken leg).

I live in Nevada and our healthcare system is absolute shit. If I had 50 states to choose from, this would be the last place I'd travel to seek out treatment. They're an odd bunch of squirrels.

I think maybe the girls saw her doll collection,  oohed and awed over it, and was probably STRONGLY encouraged by Jill to gift them to the girls. There was probably no more thought put into it than that.

If JillRod gets stimulus checks, she will use them for a dinner (or 2) for her and The Hunk at The Good Olive Garden, and then the rest will go to buying more Instagram followers... the hell with the damn kids. They don’t need food; they ate last month.

Then they should pay for the addition to the barndo themselves. They've also gotten the 2 previous stimulus checks,I presume. They certainly don't need to grift.Jill is so greedy!

They could also help Nurie and Nathan, since they're  living in an Rv and expecting a baby. But hell would freeze over first! Jmo

I don’t see a move to Florida for them any time soon.  They haven’t worn out their welcome in Ohio yet. However, the point that the Brando isn’t big enough could be a selling point. And the stimulus money could go to pay for moving the print shop.  Ugh.  And with a move to Florida they would be closer to their grift hotspots and Jill can assume her birthright as GLAMma.  Ok.  Yeah. I change my view. Move to Florida imminent.

All of the kids over 18 should get their own checks, presuming they have social security numbers and have filed tax returns.  Nurie and NotNurie #1 should've filed a tax return for their Etsy store.

I just looked it up.  There is a form they can submit or they can simply file a tax return for the current tax year.  Even if they had no income, they can get the stimulus check.  I have a feeling the, even if they don't know what to do, JRod will figure it out and help them file and make sure the checks get deposited directly into her account.  I don't think Jill would permit them to pass up free money as long as it ends up in her wallet.  And all of those kids are just that brainwashed and will do it without a quibble.

Unfortunately, this is true. I wish Nurthan could be independent enough to put away some money to buy a little place of their own. Otherwise, they will be stuck in a Jill-centered vortex of narcissism that will keep them poor and living in an RV on their in-laws' property with a growing family and no escape. This is Nurie's and Nathan's one chance to make their lives better. I hope the Kellers help them see this, but it's hard tp say.

I had baby Tender Love,I think from 1973.I still have it in storage.I also had Barbie,Ken and Dawn dolls. And her sister Skipper, and a Barbie house and camper van.Only reason I had those was because my Godmother got them for me.

My narc mom later ripped me for cutting their hair when I was little.I was 45 at the time.Sometimes you just gotta laugh.LOL

My sister had the Tommy doll from the late 50's.She marked on it and gouged the eyes out.It looked like something from a horror movie! Did my mom ever rip her for it? Nope. She was the Golden child.Even though her doll looked like it'd been thru hell.LOL

Thx to my mom,and dad too,he could be a bigger narc than her sometimes,I know exactly how Jill operates
