Watch Teresa Giudice Talk About Her New Year's Resolutions Like She's Not About To Go To Prison

Maybe Bravo just has Teresa on lockdown until she gets out of prison. There could be some type of deal for the big interview when she gets out. They give her a little money now and more when she actually does the interview. Or maybe they have promised her a bigger paycheck when she gets out of prison for another season of the show. I maintain that Bravo will keep Teresa on the show until it is off the air for good. I don't for one minute believe that, if the show is on the air when she gets out of prison, Bravo wouldn't do everything possible to get her back on the air. Bravo doesn't care she is a felon or anything about morality. It is a company in the business of making money, nothing more. I will admit that I will tune in to watch a post-prison Teresa. Realistically, Bravo doesn't have anyone else interesting on the show. People may love to hate Teresa but she is the only reason most people are still watching. For the most part, this cast of characters is boring. There has not been one other interesting storyline besides Teresa's, at least to me. I also believe that Teresa will come back to the show in a heartbeat because she doesn't have any other options to get back the lifestyle she loves.

I usually don't revel in other people's misfortune, but I can't wait for her ass to go to prison.  I will be glued to these boards tomorrow, refreshing all day like a motherfucker.

Bam!  Same here.  Posters on the East Coast, I'll be waiting!!!!

I am not a morning person, but I may jump out of bed tomorrow morning to see what's posted here and who won the poll.

I'm not convinced that Bravo has any concrete plans for Teresa post prison.  I'm sure they gauging public opinion and from the comments on various websites,  it's not good.  Combine that with the decline in ratings for the entire franchise, they're probably in a "wait and see" mode.  TV shows, especially reality TV shows don't have an infinite lifespan.  If Bravo is looking to the future, they're considering life after the Real Housewives (all of them).

Dina will end up driving T. to college because half way there Juicy was stopped and arrested for yet another DUI.

They won't be able to get inside easily because Jacqaloon has camped outside so she could ambush Theresa with yet another outpouring of her "concern" all the while Chris has a video camera trained on Jaqs in case Bravo wants to use it.

T. will arrive in Jersey Housewife style and then as they sort through her belongings T. will put on a fashion show for them.

Danielle has managed to put a "welcome note" on Theresa's pillow that night by using her pintsized hoodie pseudo-boyfriend's contacts at the prison.

Theresa is scheming to get into solitary because she mistakenly thinks that it's a private room that would be more cleansy.

Meanwhile back at Chez Juicy, Milania  is taking her first steps in her takeover and turning the joint into St Trinian's.

I love this post so much I want to date it!

Other than going to the gym for an hour tomorrow, I will be glued to the computer and tv, hoping for the Jersey  bedazzled perp walk .  Then I will have to pray for forgiveness for the large amount of schadenfreude I'm feeling.

Bam!  Same here.  Posters on the East Coast, I'll be waiting!!!

You West Coasters probably remember this.  The day the marshals went to pick up Paris at her house.  Here you'll see her tearfully hug and kiss Kathy and Rick Hilton goodbye right before she is escorted to the paddy wagon.

Tomorrow I want helicopters, weepy goodbyes, mobs of paparazzi chasing the departing cop car through the streets of Towaco.

I don't want to and I hate myself for it but I'm finding myself feeling a tiny bit sorry for Teresa.

She's got to be scared shitless right now. I couldn't imagine knowing that tomorrow morning I report to prison for more than a year.

I'd be on the toilet with my face in the garbage can getting sick from the nerves.

I'm claustrophobic and even though I know she won't be in a small cell, just the thought of a door locking behind me that I can't open would put me in a panic.

I know she deserves to be punished but, damn me, I'm feeling some sympathy for her.

I remember when they took Paris Hilton back to prison and showed her hysterically crying in the police car, and she was only going in for 2 weeks.

I can't begin to imagine how she must be feeling tonight.

Edited to clarify that I only feel a tiny bit sorry for her. She fucked a lot of people over and deserves this but I'm human.

Its a damn good thing that the only thing I've ever done illegally is now legal for me. Gotta love California.

I totally relate.  I'm the first one to say buh bye - we pay our taxes - then today - OMG - even MY stomach is sick.  Then it goes away when Mr. Lab comes home because he was working TODAY to pay the mortgage.    I too love me some California !!!!  They deliver too - like Dominos.

See?  Posters here have this shit down!  Do you guys think there will really be helicopters?  Is Juicy juicing it up?  Who will she sleep with, her kids or Juicy.  That's so wrong on so many levels.  Sorry.

Here's the final poll predictions. The winner will be the person with the closest answers based on the guidelines below. In order to receive prize packages, the winner must pm me with their bank account number and SSN.

When will Teresa arrive?

With whom will she arrive?

In what transportation will she arrive?

In what clothing will she arrive?

With what paparazzi will she arrive?

Sleuths! Please post reports for us.

AnnA

Teresa will report first thing in the morning........8 or 9 am.

She will insist Juicy drive her.

She will arrive in the Mercedes SUV.

She'll have her hair pulled back in a ponytail and be wearing a ball cap, sunglasses and sweats.

If she was seals a deal with In Touch, she will tip them on when she's leaving so they can get exclusive photos.

bosawks

Some sort of processional while doing the beauty pageant wave.

ginger90

Teresa will arrive at noon

No clue who she will arrive with, since Joe has to be home for the girls when they get out of school.

No clue what transportation she will arrive.

She will be wearing sweats and sneakers, perhaps a hat.

There will be pictures but we will not see her walk through the doors of the prison.

FlyingEgret

Joe tries to drop off Tre at 3 a.m. They have to sit in the Mercedes for hours until administration arrives.

She wears all white (portraying the innocent victim) with a ponytail, sunglasses and no hat no purse.

Luggage filled with Fabilini and baked goods to bribe the in-take committee.

Jennifersdc

Arrives at 4 pm.

Arrives with Joe only.

In the Mercedes.

Black clothing with hair in pony tail and hat. Nothing done with the bedazzler.

Paparazzi hard to project. I'll go with three film crews and five or so enterprising paps who will then sell them to the tabloids.

Lablover27

I think she'll go in minutes before the strike of midnight.

Alone with a driver.

In her SUV carriage

No paps

LotusFlower

She'll show up at Danbury, and they'll tell her she was assigned to Alderson/West Virginia.

Or....she'll show up at whatever facility it is, but we won't know the details because the car drove into the garage. I think there will be zero attention or paps or fanfare.

Merylinkid

She will not go voluntarily. She will be "escorted" by federal marshals who had to go to the tacky mansion to get her.   She will be in cuffs, screaming that she shouldn't have to report because she sued her lawyers and that means the sentence will be overturned.

mwell345

She'll arrive early in the morning - pre dawn or shortly thereafter.

She'll arrive in an SUV type car.

One of her lawyers or "advisors" will be with her.

She'll show up casually dressed, jeans, baseball cap, etc.

She will want the paps there but they will be.

Socalrules

She shows up at 11:59 pm on January 4th

She will be dressed low key with no makeup. I assume the extensions will come out before she gets there.

Technorebel

I think she'll go voluntarily and be dressed to the nines with her hair and make-up done.  She'll smile in case anyone's taking photos and save the tears for inside.

Zoeysmom

Teresa will arrive early 10 am.

With Joe,

driving their Mercedes SUV.

There will be paparazzi.

Maharincess, I totally agree. Nervousness sends me straight to the bathroom. I would be freaking out. The being forced to stay in one place and not allowed to leave freaks me out. Hell, I hate being on planes just because I am stuck until it lands. I am not even afraid of the crashing part. So, I cannot imagine being told you cannot leave for 12-15 months. If she were smart (I know, ha ha) she would do her time, take any class or group meeting they offer, and read, read, read to pass the time. She should figure out whatever earns you a chance to get out in 12 months instead of 15 and do it. Knowing Teresa, she will just complain to the guards about her oatmeal being cold and how the other guards are mean to her. I doubt she will be happy with whatever job they give her. The one thing I respect about Martha Stewart is that she did her time, apparently adapted well to prison and did what was necessary to pass the time. I do not see Teresa doing the same thing. I hear some whining coming on.

I think this is why no one bothered to write a tell all book about Stewart's time in prison.   She got along with people, even helped some out.   She didn't try to act like a celebrity or expect special treatment.   She did her time quietly and without too much fuss  (I am sure she had at least one breakdown in there and to me that is PERFECTLY normal).

Theresa on the other hand does not make friends and influence people.   She just pisses people off.   Her treatment of others is going to make her time harder.   It is also going to make people more willing to sell her out for a few bucks.

Teresa always calls herself "strong," and I feel that's yet another lie she tells. Where and when have we seen her act strong? In contrast, I think the real Teresa was the one we saw before Judge Salas - scared, nervous, and inarticulate. Then she faced some hard questions with Andy, and again said nothing much, nothing of value, said a lot of "you know's," and when she did speak, she blamed Joe and deflected responsibility. And this might be a silly reference, but awhile back when she was on Celebrity Apprentice, she was extremely docile, and again, nervous and out of her element. This is my long way of saying that I don't think Teresa is going to be any kind of bully in prison, or even a bitch to anyone. Certainly not the sometimes nasty and selfish person we've seen on RHONJ. She's going to be scared and nervous and out of her element, and while I don't think she's going to win any popularity contests, I think she's going to do enough to go along to get along.

Here's what Wendy Feldman, Tre's former crisis consultant, predicts will be Tre's experience.  She knows women's prison camp as she is a felon herself and she also knows Teresa well.  Sounds like you guys are nailing it.

http://www.people.com/article/teresa-giudice-prison-sentence

"In prison, generally, there's always a group of women who sit together and bitch and moan the whole time and their time is hard time and all they do is focus on the negative and complain," Feldman says.

"Then there are women who cause trouble. I don't think she will be one of those. They will be doing things with contraband or with each other. I don't foresee that one at all. That's not going to happen."

"There's always a group that is into Bible reading. Then there is the group that kind of fits in and rolls with it and realizes where they're at and makes the most out of it and sometimes has fun with it. I was that group. I don't think she'll be in that group. I think she will be in the group that's complaining. That group does hard time because being miserable makes your time pass slowly."

Add me to the list of people with nerves sending them to the bathroom. If I were her, I would be totally dehydrated by the time I walked thru the gates & I would probably be holding a bag, just in case.

It says on the Federal prisons web site that all incoming inmates will be interviewed & screened from case management, medical & mental health personnel. Then there is an orientation session about the prison. I'm sure we all would like to be a fly on the wall during Tre's admission process esp the mental health evaluation. She will still be saying it's a mistake that she's there & it's not her fault. I can picture her asking "Do these clothes come in another color?" From the picture on the site, looks like khaki is going to be her new color.

Yah, I spent too many hours listening to The Orange is the New Black on youtube (although I was organizing:))).  The part where the author talked about the first days, weeks.  Couldn't even imagine it.

I am sleeping with my cell phone.  I get notices from www.stoopidhousewives and I'll probably jump up before the dog wants be fed :)  So wierd.  Then it will go back to normal and I have to pack away our Christmas decorations.

I was watching the Take on Today show this morning (the last hour of the Today show). They had segment about Tre reporting to Danbury at 3 am this morning. Tamryn Hall started segment but couldn't figure out how to say Giudice -- she said it both ways. I thought Al Roker mumble "jail bird". They went thru the story about her charges & family going to church Sunday. All commented about feeling sorry for the girls. Then Natalie Morales added "there will be a new cast member of Orange is the New Black." The rest of them were like "Whoa Natalie." To which she said "they knew what they were doing." Looks like Natalie is not a big fan of Tre & Joe.

Ugh.  That picture of Joe driving the kids to school. It's bad enough that it's the Back to School Monday after the long holiday break.  It's freezing ass cold outside.  Those 2 things were enough to make me want to go back to bed after I dropped Lil Rye off at school today. But he'll be coming home later to find his mom in the kitchen and his world not rocked -  aside from the Christmas tree that will be down by the time he gets here.

So sad for those girls.

Yup.  Same thing here .... only just on the West Coast.  Back to bitching at stupid drivers who won't let little snowflake walk the 25 extra steps and MOVE UP so we can all enter the parking lot.  LOL  taking the tree down.

I hope that her new attorney got paid his $275 per hour fee ahead of time.  I would have wanted to wait every last second on my marble floored toilet room.  The pic of the new attorney with the window rolled down and his interview?  Look ma, I'm on ABC!!!!

LOLOL.  Oh my.  Jimmy Lenny and Teresa aren't wasting any time. How much money did US magazine slip into Teresa's account for that little nugget?  It's entertaining now, but if she sells every.minute.detail of her existence from now until she gets released...it's going to be a long 15 months.

I can almost see them sitting in that diner with 30 minutes before check in, trying to rouse someone from one of the tabs by phone to see who would pay the most to print what Teresa had for breakfast.

I'm happy to announce there is a new Glam video. A "biography" of sorts. With you guessed it, no mention of the pesky convicted felon or going to prison thing. It's just too much. I think I'm going to watch it again.

It's vintage Teresa. A "bio" without any mention of massive tax fraud or prison. Or Joe for that matter. Hmmm... Just her four beautiful dawders, TV, and love, love, love. Notice how she's still gunning for that cooking show. But also notice in the outakes how bad she is at it.

Does anybody else wonder how Teresa is sleeping?  I figured she had to be pretty zonked after staying up and leaving her house at 3 a.m.  I think that the first night, I'd hear every sound in the place and be pretty jumpy.  I also wondered whether she would lie awake thinking about everything that's happened or about her daughters.  I'd think she'd be too tired to think, but you never know.  One of these nights or days, I think it's all going to catch up with her, and the reality of what she's done and how long she'll pay for it will sink in.  I wouldn't want to be her when that happens.

Yes.  I've actually thought about her a lot, I admit. When I woke up yesterday, one of the first thoughts I had was that Teresa had 'one night down'.  But then I did the math and thought, 'approximately 450 to go.'  And felt kind of bad for her.  I'm snarky but I'm not a monster.  That said, while getting my son off to school I got pissed off at her again for doing this to her kids.  And as a former kindergarten teacher I know what kind of hell that first Monday after a long holiday break feels like - and how compounded that feeling was for her kids knowing that mom was going to be gone when they got home.  For a long time. Also, the dynamics of how teachers and kids will treat them for a while will change.  Trust me on this. Some for the good, some not so much.  If she doesn't get herself together in the next year+, there is no redemption for her.

You said it so well, ryebread.  I go back and forth feeling disgusted with Teresa for not thinking more about her kids when she was breaking all the rules and the opposite: feeling a little bit sorry for her.  We're all human beings with compassion for each other, and where would the world be without that compassion?  Still, it boggles my brain trying to figure out how she thought she could get away with this.

I read yesterday that Teresa and Andy Cohen have a "loose agreement" on an interview when she gets out, which would net her $50,000.  Others speculate that she will write a book about her experiences in prison, said the article.  The same story said that visits by her children have been limited to something like 10 or 12 per month.  That seems pretty generous to me.  And, finally, the prison handbook mentioned that those strip searches given when a prisoner enters can happen at any time during the duration of a person's stay (Gulp!) and that they were Teresa's biggest fear about going to prison.

I go back & forth too. While cooking dinner Monday night I was wondering what poor Gia was cooking for the girls. (Joe was probably in a stupor by then.) Then I thought they will have family or friends providing meals for awhile. I hope the support staff is still around in full force in 9 months. (Melissa, Kathy, Joe's family, etc) I'm sure they will be but I still picture Gia having to take charge of things. Besides the school counselors, are the girls getting any other type of counseling? Nothing against school counselors, but I think they need much more than they can offer.

I thought about Tre sleeping too & figured exhaustion set in the first night. But as she gets settled in, I hope she DOES have sleepness nights thinking about the girls & what she & Joe did & how they handled things. Maybe, just maybe, then things will sink in.

I share the mixed feelings of other posters.

I'm glad she got 15 months, not because I want her to be punished so much as I want her to, finally, really get it. I agree with Judge Salas that confinement was necessary. In 15 months, she may get it. I hope so, for her sake.

I've been thinking about her daily, too. She's an idiot, and definitely a criminal, and up to this point has shown little comprehension or remose except insofar as her four beautiful dorters are concerned (and even that, I think, was largely for sympathy, since she obviously wasn't thinking about them when committing these crimes and blowing through 13 million dollars). But I do feel sorry for her. Just because I'm human, too, and I cannot fathom knowing that you had fucked things up that badly. Not just for yourself, but for your children. I don't even have kids, but... yikes.

My prayer for her is that she gets the wake-up call she needs, and that Caroline's prophecy comes to pass. I think it could go either way. Teresa is not bright, and is deeply, deeply invested in her delusion.

Question: Has Teresa ever shown compassion for anyone? And please don't say her daughters. I've watched the show from the beginning, and I honestly can't think of any time she's shown kindness or compassion for others. That's why I never liked her - her narcissism and greed were always front and center.

LotusFlower and all those giving you a thumbs up...I couldn't agree with you more.  Teresa doesn't know the meaning of the word compassion. If her situation happened to anyone she was on the "outs" with, she'd be saying they deserved it, while continuing to laugh all the way to the bank.

Maybe prison will teach her a lesson, and maybe it won't. Only time will tell.

I hear ya, MsTree. So many long-time posters here, whose opinions on Teresa's crimes are pretty well documented, are feeling sad or sorry for Teresa as she spends her first nights in prison, and I thought - what's wrong with me? Cuz I don't feel bad at all. And I'm generally someone who looks out for the down-and-out types, and I even cry at corny commercials! But then I realized Teresa still hasn't accepted responsibility or apologized for what she did, nor has she ever shown compassion for anyone going through a hard time. Ever. So for me, it's hard to feel compassion for someone who doesn't show it towards others.

I was glad to read your post. I don't feel the least bit sorry for her either and I think its exactly for the reason you said--she hasn't taken responsibility and has shown zero empathy or compassion for the people SHE's hurt. (Actually, maybe I'm really an awful person because I also do not think she feels a shred of compassion for what her daughters are and will be going through all because of her. I think her feelings for them are--once again--all about her, "poor me"--and not thinking for once, "I'm so sorry for how they are suffering for the bad choices I made, suffering for no fault of their own.")

She is one of the most incredibly narcissistic and self-absorbed people, imo. I not only think she deserves every bit of what she's getting now, but is very, very lucky she won't be in Danbury longer.

Here's something about her daily life (I hope she's in the room with 6-8 people, but she probably got lucky and its only 2.)
