OMG. A burn that had polyester fabric melted into it is absolutely horrible. I'm fairly bad. I usually travel in jeans and a t-shirt so natural fibers unless it is a long haul flight back to the US (which is usually 17 hours) and then I'm usually going to do something comfortable (last time was really thick leggings, a tunic type knit shirt, and my Uggs).

FYI: Wool is some of the best fabric to travel in because it is heat resistant and self-extinguishing.

Now, some episodes are hilariously off in terms of science but if you can ignore that, it isn't a bad show. I find it funny and a good light show to watch.

The one I watched showed Katherine McPhee and her mom locked in one room while the men were locked in another and they had to make counterfeit money.

McPhee's mom - is that the lady who played Marty's mom in Back To The Future? One of the men - was in the Terminator movie/Sopranos

I want to watch from the start - a friend just told me it's based on a group of real people

Walter O'Brien is a real guy and he is one of the producers. Just for giggles, google what the guy really looks like.  LOL.  He had a hand in picking out who portrayed him.  Also, apparently his intelligence is possibly exaggerated. Whatever, I'm there for whacky hijinks and some romance.

I went ahead and saw season 1 episode one - planes can not land at LAX - introduction to all of the characters.

So far so good - enough to keep watching when I have a chance

I've never seen an older pic.  I think the real Walter looks like a mix of the guy who plays Sylvester and Penn (from Penn and Teller who also has a bit role in the last season).

I have Prime Demand - which means I can watch any show any season without commercials. Check with your cable provider and see if they offer that.

It used to be on Netflix but I think it was removed.  Double check though if you have it. CBS also has a pay scheme where you can watch all the episodes of shows but i think they have a 1 or 2 week free trial offer.

T. Kyle McMahon has created merchandise like the "Free Tre" shirts and the "What Are You Doing Here Without Dorinda?" tees. (Dorinda even wore one, in the episode where she helps Sonja clean her basement, but Bravo blurred it out). When he tried doing the same with Luann's catchphrases, she sent him a cease and desist letter.

 

I'm sad, too. I think once Yahoo bought Tumblr, the writing was on the wall.

I've been out of the loop regarding HW shows. The only thing constant is T.Kyle and have recently added trashtalktv.  They come up with some good pics w/captions. 

IMO Bravo must be run by fidiots.  Every source of promo it appears they try to break up.  LuLu must be in the same category.   It isn't bad enough that they have turned these shows to be a 100% negative. 

I do have to thank T Kyle for all the laughs and giggles he has given me over the years.  

Truthfully didn't know about the Yahoo/Tumblr thing.

People my Bravo is back on!  I won't miss anything.  I have a smart TV, which shocks me for it is like 12 years old and got it free with mattress.  I cut the cable and found out that since I live in an urban area, with 3 schools, a jail/police station, hospital and other places that uses dish, that my tv just picks up channels.  How cool is that?  I also get channels from Windsor, Canada too.  Darn those Dish providers going down in storms!  How dare they make me lose my mind.

I will see you all next episode.

Wait a minute - a Smart TV does something?!?  Because I bought one of those puppies when my ATT Uverse modum imploded and killed my last TV (it was the only one on clearance at Walmart).  I went as far as seeing indecipherable icons at the bottom of my "Smart" screen before hooking it all in to my DVR, and have yet to explore the TVland of which you speak.  ;-)

@walnutqueen as you know I just moved and now have a smart tv. You almost need a teen to program the darn thing as it confounded me too, but once programmed it isn't too hard to get channels, Netflix, Amazon or music. Mind you I'm still in the learning curve but am saving a lot of dosh by not feeding my local cable provider.

When I got rid of cable they sent out the guy to take the DVR.  Sad day!  I just am sick of paying $150 for basic cable.  My cable company alerted me that my bill was going up to $195.  $195?????  I told them to shut it off.  Detroit area has high cable costs and where I live we have 4 choices but they get together so they are all high.  Anyways, the cable guy comes out and takes out my dvr and I said it was a sad day.  He said he doesn't have cable either and hey look at this.  He went to tools and found a "search for channels" button and told me to push it.  OMG I have more channels now then when I paid for basic.  I do still pay for WiFi but it's $45 and hasn't changed in 16 years.  None of the stupid fees either, just a flat $45.  No one in my family except my brother and sister (we are all in our 50s) have cable.  I am hanging with the millenials.  They think I am too cool now.  I had no idea that channels like Disney, Freeform etc are all available for free.  My neighbor has never had cable and she gets over 65 channels.  I find it easier to google my tv brand and help me to get advice from other online posters.  It's all in the remote control for me.

Since I already own Xbox I still use that to get Netflix and Hulu.  My nephew is my "go to guy" he is 20 and doesn't even charge his phone with a charger.  What?  He has a coat that chargers everything that is in the coat.  To me it's just magic and I will never quite get it.  I do want the coat though.

I am shocked that no housewives, especially RHoNY have these clothes.  I would think that Bethany and Carol would have some being that they are urban jungle warriors.  At least RHoNY use bluetooth in the car.  Some of the franchise HW must drive old cars without the capability.

Am I missing something about Labor Day?  Why is everything reruns until after it's over?  Do other people buy presents and put up a tree?   I just don't understand why everything is on hold.  Granted, it's been along time since I was a kid, but, Labor Day memories for me are the Jerry Lewis Telethon and school the next day.  Summer was over.  The end.  It just seems like a bigger deal now.
