I just don't see Adrienne and Lucas staying together. It is hard to make a decision on your love life when you are facing major surgery and a cancer diagnosis. You don't want to be a pity choice. Anne had no claim on Lucas, though. Except for maybe having coffee with him, there wasn't much else going on.

Tripp can certainly Ewe Search Ava Vitali and see newspaper stories, etc. on who she really was. Doubt Steve will say that Joey actually killed her - however it probably will slip out at some point. Not sure if I like or dislike Tripp. Somehow he seems to be more than he seems to be.

Eli, there are more women in Salem than Gabi. She really isn't interested in anything so respect that. Of course, she is hung up on Chad so until that is resolved, don't waste your time.

Dario is awfully rude. Abigail didn't ask him to come in, he just walked right past her. and then right into the living room when she obviously didn't even want him there in the first place.

I think I missed something last week or earlier this week due to pre-emptions, what was the clever thing Nicole said to throw Hilary (I think that is the nosy police officer's name) off the scent? Also, why would Nicole and Brady have to stay in this place specifically? If Brady has access to unlimited funds and people to do his bidding, just pick up stakes and go somewhere else and have a better cover story. Won't Hilary find it odd that they now have a previously unmentioned little boy?  

Jennifer and Eric are right there in the pub which SERVES FOOD, so why do they have to go elsewhere?

Abigail, look to see how Dario shows you who he is. Guests would be invited in to a home, and not barge in. Yes, he may sense that you are probably going to choose Chad out of wealth, and obligation, and guilt.

Hilary may find it odd that there is another kid. However, Brady can give any reason. The chemical engineer cover story is as leaky as a boat made of Swiss Cheese. I would tend to choose a larger city where it is much easier to 'disappear'.

Perhaps Jennifer and Eric don't want the pub fare.

Eduardo, helping Chloe is not going to help anyone, really.

I really hate how much Show has made me dislike A Martinez. I loved Cruz, he was good on LA Law, I even liked him on GH though he was involved with Bobbie, who I've never liked. But Eduardo is just insufferable. I wonder if I would feel more kindly towards him if he would shave that thing off his chin. I still hate Dario, but now that he is more clean shaven he is slightly more tolerable.

I have no idea what either Jennifer or Abigal said during their conversation at the mansion yesterday.   I couldn't get past the hair.   Jennifer's looked like dried up straw and Abby's, flat against her scalp, needed a good washing.  So did they say anything important?  Probably not.

Brady's description included "late 30's?" Please. Eric M is 45. I adore the actor and he is very good looking, but let's be honest about the age. I'm assuming Brady's character is early to mid 40's? Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine to have dialogue with an age that definitely is too young! They did it on The Catch last week with TR Knight's character who they said in a conversation was 35 (off by nearly a decade IRL).

I have to tell you, I'm enjoying the crap out of the Abby/Gabi/Chad scenes--Abby is so entirely self-centered that Chad's choosing her to save means he loves her the best so she can be gracious to Gabi.  It doesn't even occur to her that Chad might have another reason, like perhaps he knows that Gabi is not only physically stronger but also mentally tougher and he knows she's a survivor.  I did like how Gabi stood up for herself when Andre indirectly threatened her--she doesn't answer to him and what's between Gabi and Chad is between them.  

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I sort of wish Daniel was still alive--that way, we wouldn't have to deal with Maggie, Victor, Brady, Nicole, Chloe, Jennifer and Eric constantly going on about how Daniel's death is the single greatest tragedy that happened in Salem and according to Victor, Eric might as well kill himself now because no one in Salem will ever forgive him for taking Daniel away.  Victor, a known murderer, blackmailer and all around bad guy, is chastising Eric.  Oh show, never change.

I don't wish Daniel was still alive, but this making his death the worst death ever is getting ridiculous.  Too bad Victor wasn't as upset over his son Bo's death. Poor Bo died and everyone, instantly moved on, and his name is rarely ever mentioned.

And back to Maggie's children, how come Daniel the only one anyone remembers or misses. What about Sarah and Melissa.  And, what's her face, Summer? Not that I want Summer back, but when she left, she was still Maggie's daughter, right.   

On a happier note, for me at least, I think next week is the week John's back on screen.  :)

The only reason they still have Abby wanting to stay with Chad right now is as an obstacle for Chad and Gabi.  There's no way Abby as written correctly wouldn't be all up in Chad's face screaming.  I mean, it's what she does.  Plot based writing.

I think casting finally got it right with this Abby. Her and Chad are good together...there is a naturalness between them and even their argument felt authentic...I buy them as a couple, unlike KMs Abby.. Still wish they would do something about her hair though..needs a good cut or volume spray...it was distracting to me today.. Speaking of hair....wtf happened to Jens?. OMG its like straw!

There was a lot to like about the second half of today's episode, but the first 20 minutes or so were a bit of a slog. I find Eli and Lani unconvincing as actors. I feel like I'm watching some other show like Young and the Restless when I see them. They just don't register as DAYS characters. I respect the actor playing JJ for trying to make his scenes opposite Sal work, but I can't imagine it's easy.

Kate was being judgemental all over the place today but I didn't mind it so much. I especially loved that someone finally took issue with Sonny dating Paul after all of the crap Paul inadvertently caused in his marriage. it was weird to suddenly have characters referencing Will when he's been barely mentioned in months...but I won't complain. He should be on people's minds more often. I'm kind of disappointed Carrie and Austin didn't get any lines about him when they returned to Salem for the first time since his passing.

I really liked seeing Marlena in her blue dress from Prague again, but I wish they would film it in such a way to show that great slit it has up the side. I think it's very flattering on Deidre but they just haven't shown enough of it. The dialogue with John was nice even though I feel like it backpedals on his promise in 2015 to stop working for the ISA. Hopefully at some point they can explain why this new mission was so important to justify him being away for so long after supposedly retiring.

You didn't miss anything, not even Sparkle shirtless. This almost was Luke and Noah from ATWT level of avoiding seeing the gays having sex in my opinion. We saw more of Chad and Abby in bed today. I'm calling shenanigans!!! There had better be some serious amounts of next morning afterglow in the next few days or I'm going to be.....annoyed.

On the other hand it was a really nice scene between Kate and Sonny.  Except for lack of promised sex (yeah my tv listings clearly said "Sonny and Paul make love") it was really nice to see a little of the old Sonny back for a little while, until he goes back to being obsessed with being the head Kirakis.

For somebody so preoccupied with his connection to Gabi, Chad doesn't mind banging the old ball and chain every chance he gets. 

The actress that tries to play Lani isn't all that good. She's definitely striking, but that only takes one so far in this business. I'd say she's found her ceiling. Damn, I remember the days when even crappy newbies could make me give a damn if they could manage to generate some screen chemistry with their scene partners. Kristian Alphonso comes to mind. Doesn't seem to happen anymore.

Abs is familiar to Chad. He's with her out of 'devotion' and obligation. It's not going to last. He has to deal with Gabi. He can't just not have any contact with her unless he and Abs move to another city. Kate is probably bang-on. Gabi, just be patient and see how Chad and Abs plays out.

Don't care about Lani and Eli. She's not even that great with JJ - just seems to be filler until someone else shows up in Salem.

Sparkle and Sonny? A bit meh.

Kate has seen Gabi and Chad together approximately 2 times.  I really don't know what she was talking about.  Both she and Gabi cared about Chad so much they weren't even around when he was falsely accused of murder.  

Freddie Smith has lost whatever charm he once had.  I'm not feeling him at all anymore.  Too bad because Christopher Sean is adorable.

To be fair, a running storyline with Kate and Chad is that she thinks of him as one of her children.  So it is very much in character for her to treat him the same way she did Lucas, Billie, Austin, Phillip, and Rex. Cassie is the only one who was excluded form this, disappearance nonetheless.

I agree Kate mothers Chad, in a way only Kate could do.  I thought her rationale was interesting - Abby sees things in black and white while Gabi understands compromise.  Gabi 's been demonstrating her street smarts lately.  Chad saw she started rescuing herself and trusted she'd catch the vial. So I guess there was a reason for the  (fake ) baseball flashbacks.

The bad song just reminds me how obnoxiously clingy Abby is with Chad.  I laughed a lot at how Chad really wasn't paying much attention while agreeing sure let's go on a honeymoon or renew our vows or stay home or whatever. 

I always enjoy Kate with marlena. She's so much more interesting without Jawn.

Yikes to sonny and sparkle.  The dancing and walking out together looked extremely awkward when we know they have a past of living together while sparkle was on the road.  I can't  help but compare to how I looked forward to kisses between sonny and original will. I'm glad there was a little discussion about will.

There were some episodes back in summer 2011 where Kate voiced her dislike of Chad dating Abby.  She even told Stefano she didn't like it, but no reason was ever given really, so that's true to history I guess.  It seems to depend on who's writing on whether Kate is interested in Chad's life or not.  Why Kate would want him with Gabi is what I don't get, unless she's just happy she's not Abby.  Kate seemed annoyed on the regular with Gabi during that whole storyline of her, Sami and Gabi hiding the fact that Nick was dead.  Rolling her eyes about how hysterical she would get any time someone would mention Nick.

I've never been a huge fan of Freddie. Don't get his Emmy win...especially for that scene. He had others that were almost worthy of a nom. Not that one. All I see is multi level marketing slimy sales when he speaks.

This is the only continuity around these days. From the moment Kate realized that Chad was Stefano's kid (before Stefano knew), she was protective of him. I like that bond...they fight like family but she really does mostly have his back. Mostly. 

I loved Kate vs Sonny. Yes, Sonny, Will would want you to be happy and move on. But if you think Will would want you to move on with Paul, you're sick and delusional. I hate that Kate caved.

Also, wtf is up with such "hot" intimate scenes with Chabby but a chaste kiss and no clothing removal for PaulSon? I mean, I'm not pro-Paulson (I'm pro-Christopher Sean) but jebus, give us something to root for if that's the direction you want to go in.

The show is way off base if they think that making Claire unlikable and villainous will make us like Ciara more.  Ciara is still just as horrific and uninteresting and dull and now Claire, who had promise, is now annoying.  And maybe it's just me, but I find Theo to be completely asexual and it feels wrong that people are using the word "sex" and him together in a sentence--are we supposed to think that Claire is a would-be rapist because she's so intent on them losing their virginity?  I'm very confused.

Scooter and Hilary are both creepy.  The story is so stupid, all they have to do is say they don't like living in the country after all.  Or they have plans.  Instead they sit around and wait for a pork roast?  Ugh. And I've been through dumb ass declaring true love way too often.  Even given their history together. 

Weren't Claire and Theo jumping at each other right in front of Steve and Kayla?  If not where did they go. I'm already extremely tired of Tripp whining about his mother.

Scooter and Hilary are pretty creepy.  Of course, Nicole and Brady will not set proper boundaries. Granted, I don't interact with most of my neighbours and have zero desire to do so.  Nicole, the neighbours seem too interested in you. Keep up your guard! Scooter probably hasn't seen a lot of current porn in that he remembers Misty Circle from 20 or so years ago.
