Exactly @chlban I don’t think anyone is saying the breakup should never have happened. I mean people change, they grow apart, whatever. It’s the cowardly, despicable way he did it that rankles. He has a habit of cheating his way out of relationships, which looks to me like a bet hedge anyway. Never treat people like a backup plan, essentially a long term partner. He sucks.

Schwartz is a complete jackass, and I'm so glad Katie is over his bullshit. She set a boundary for their post-divorce friendship and he chose not to respect it. Sandoval made a freudian slip when he was talking to James at the weed lounge.  He said that Rachel dipped out and went to bed.  Then he tells James “she literally went up to my room”!  He then backtracks and says “not my room, I’m sorry my guest room or whatever”. 
 

If I have to hear the expression dipped out one more time I’m going to scream.  I think he is being very disrespectful to LVP calling her a dude repeatedly.  My god his use of these slang words at the age of 40 is ridiculous.

OK, I admit that I enjoyed watching Sandoval get busted on Raquchel spending the night as the reason she was 90 minutes late for work the next day. I really do not want to hear the phrase "dipping out" for the rest of my life.

It was award seeing Sandoval and Ariana giving those sunglasses to Raquchel as a birthday gift. I wonder if he meant that to have a secret meaning between them, like someone conjectured about the lightning bolt necklace?

Nope no staging went on here.

 And re Kristen D, I also didn't recognize her at first. She had a lot more done than hair extensions and spray tan and implants. She had some chin and nose ( and probably teeth) done as well.  I didn't use to watch the show that closely, but I remember her being off the wall looney tunes. The good news is she seems to have totally gotten herself together. At least she played the part of that for now.

Sandoval and Rachel can just dip the fuck out of this show. I really, really, REALLY hate being a virtual bystander as they continue to play Ariana, who has been NOTHING but good to Rachel, and tolerant beyond all understanding of Sandoval. The details of that pool party — I don’t blame Lala one bit for bringing it up. Ariana cannot go on blindly like this. Ariana was grieving and Tom couldn’t give a shit (except, according to him, he did, literally).

My God…get your stories straight, Toms. They were obviously caught in so much bullshit (Sandoval especially) that that should have been the tip off that things were not as innocent as they want people to believe.

So…aging out of pageants gives the green light to act like an asshole. Got it. And what was with the waterworks in Rach’s TH? 

This is…just ugh. Next week we get Rach confronting Ariana about Ariana and Tom’s sex life. Honey, that is a huge tell that Tom felt the need to share this with you…he most likely gives not one damn about you, other than your availability to scratch his itch and to make him feel like a young man again, and not some washed up 40-something mess that looks like he just walked off a porn shoot.

I don’t know, I kind of love how some producer pushed Ken through the kitchen door, and he just stumbled through mumbling  So how about Raquel spending the night with Tom? And he didn’t even slow down at all before just exiting out the other door, barely completing his line in time. That was even funnier to me than all of the rewind/fast-forward lying/exposition, which was the greatest editing technique this show has ever deployed. I guess it doesn’t take much to entertain me—case in point, my obsession with the Scandoval.

Yeah I've always thought this was a big deal, but she must be having some reservations to want to freeze her eggs, so I think Tom thought she'd change her mind. But also whatever fuck Tom. 

I think unfortunately Ariana just wasn't as savvy about finances as she seems to think she is, when she told Vanderpump about the house and Tom taking out the loan she was convinced that she wouldn't owe any money Tom lost in S&S, aka like her portion of the house was a carve out and Vanderpump was trying to tell her naw you are absolutely on the hook for it you own one house jointly not two halves of a house separately. I think she believed that marriage means merging your finances (not that I think that is her only objection to marriage), and that she was avoiding that by nor being married and she thought she was protecting herself when they bought the house. 

I felt so bad for her every time she defended Rachel or talked about riding and dying for Tom. I can't wait to see her unleash and then move on to better things and people. I also hope she gets a FU haircut I loved her spiky bob from few years ago.

It could be, but Jax was at the OC party on Labor Day. He describes (from 2.10 on) on WWHL in early March that he saw Sandoval with Raquel, Ariana called Sandoval about her grandmother, and Sandoval didn't leave, although there were Ubers coming and going all day. 

Also, in this interview from November 10th, Jax said that the Toms (Schwartz and Sandoval) were SINGLE.

I didn't  understand  'dipping out'  because  once when he said it, Tom used a hand gesture that suggested something  else.

I cracked up at the rewinding, fast forwarding, and doddering Ken. Absolutely cracked up.

But there were so many moments in the rest of the episode where I had to pause the TV and collect myself, the cringe was so intense. It's stunning to watch this play out. I honestly thought we would be looking for hints in the background,  not seeing multiple lies fall apart on screen. I am so ashamed how riveted I am by this nonsense.

Yes, individuals want to see if they like a new partner before they leave a comfortable relationship. Is it decent behavior? No, but it's common. Sandoval didn't do anything unique. I don't know why people are shocked he had an affair for months. It's also obvious now that the Ariana and Sandoval relationship was over, more, or less. He could just end it without having an affair though.

It’s shocking because he did it with a really good friend of his girlfriend.  
 

As someone who was cheated on, it is devastating and seeing it all unfold to Ariana is horrible.  No sex in a relationship means there is something wrong in the relationship. And honestly the way Ariana was saying how Tom expects it from her without spending time with her and maintaining that intimacy, it makes sense. 

After reading here how bad she looked, I thought Kristen looked good. Why does it seem crazy she’s 40.

Why were they referring to Jax as Jason? 

Schwartz is such a child. He’s so used to getting away with the “aw shucks” routine, that he doesn’t know how to handle Katie no longer dealing with it. Love it.

Well, she is stupid, and calculating. And there is no mention of this on this show either (she used to say she graduated with that degree, for example to Lala) now that she doesn't participate in pageants, and she doesn't have to pretend anymore.

I had that impression too. Honestly there are just a lot of times where Arianna seems convinced of her own opinions and shuts down any criticism. She’s done this multiple times when people expressed concerns about Tom. I think she did it with the house. She just shut out any negative input as people who don’t understand how smart she is. She even sort of did it this episode with both Katie and Lala. A little bit of reason got through her defenses this time but she started both conversations with that smug look and tone she takes on when she basically goes “I’m completely right and I’m going to tell you how I’m right and if you disagree that’s just very immature of you.” Honestly, I feel bad for her and my heart goes out to her but I was sort of reminded of why I don’t like her much. She just grates.

As disgusting as most of that episode was, James once again brought the comic relief. I laughed when he stopped to check his hair when talking with Rachel, which visibly pissed her off. You go, James. I know it still chafes, but living well is really the best revenge. 

You could also feel the room temperature drop when Schwartz took Katie’s and Teri’s drink orders. Schwartz: “Martini, Teri?” Teri: “❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️.” WHY does he keep insinuating himself into these situations? No other servers at TomTom? Probably.

I admit I felt a little uncomfortable with the details Lisa and Ken knew. Even Katie was surprised.

That whole story…MUCH more to it, probably. But Schwartz would walk through fire in a gasoline suit for Sandoval. First rule of effective lying: Be on the same page at all times.

I HATE it when one person blames the other when the relationship hits a rough spot, and uses sex as the reason. That is nothing more than an easy excuse to bail. You’d think by the time you reach your 40s you’d know there is more to a healthy relationship than just sex, especially when your partner is dealing with depression as well as working through grief. I was watching season 2 and he was using the same excuses, almost verbatim, concerning Kristin. Grow the eff up, dude.

I just recall her saying over and over that she wants to go back to school to be a pediatric occupational therapist. And when she was 22, okay, I believed her. Now at 27, though… Granted, of course people go back to school at all ages. But over time this did come to sound like a pageant line. I even recall James gloating that Rachel is so fabulous because she wants to work with children! Okaaaay. There’s a big difference between saying you want to do something and actually taking steps to get there, let alone actually doing it. I guess even she realized she can’t keep this lie up and has no reason to anymore. She seems pretty content just slinging goat cheese balls and trying to hook a man to make her a kept woman.

Of course he knew.  He, Jo, Raquel and Sandoval took weekend trips together often.  I bet he knew after the first night when Raquel did not, in fact dip out.
